Anderson, Jentry Nielson
Jentry Nielson Anderson 1922 ~ 2005 AXTELL, UTAH- Jentry Nielson Anderson, 83,
of Axtell, Utah, passed away June 5, 2005, at her home in Axtell. She was born
March 13, 1922, in Centerfield, Utah, to Harold C. and Myrtle Christensen
Nielson. She married Dean W. Anderson on April 30, 1948, in Gunnison, Utah.
Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on May 30, 1997.
Jentry was devoted to her family; loved to travel, touring Europe and visiting
every state except Alaska. She worked many years at Gunnison Valley Bank. She
never lost an argument. She is survived by her husband, Dean; children, Fae
(Jerry) Roberts, Scott (Doree) Anderson, Lee (Chris) Anderson, and Lisa
(Clyde) Crane; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grand-children; and a brother Ira
(Fran) Nielson. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vicky Lynn
and a brother, Jack C. Nielson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
June 9, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Axtell LDS ward chapel. Friends may call at
the ward chapel in Axtell on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and again
at the chapel on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the

Bagley, Lillian Marie Pearson
Lillian Marie Pearson Bagley 1917 ~ 2005 Lillian was born February 14, 1917 in
Ririe, Idaho to Roy Oscar Pearson and Marie Sofie Peterson. She died
peacefully on June 4, 2005 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was
preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Merle Bagley; her son,
Michael Allan Bagley; her parents, and three brothers. She is survived by six
of her children and their spouses, Donald Merle, Jr. (Elaine), Dona Dryden
(David), Michael's widow (Sue), David LeRoy (Dian), Colleen Breeze, Gary Wayne
(Tamie), Marilee Cook (Brian); and brother, Howard Pearson (Cheryl). She was
the proud grandmother of 33, and great-grandmother of 52. Mother was a woman
of faith, integrity, and virtue. Foremost in her life was her love of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. She bore a strong testimony to it's truthfulness and
was steadfast in living it's principles, setting a wonderful example for her
posterity to follow. She loved her family very much and was concerned about
their happiness and well-being. During her last coherent days on earth, she
often stated she felt surrounded by love and said "I've had a wonderful life."
We're thankful she's in a better place surrounded by many of her loved ones
who have gone on before and we're thankful for her life and for being able to
share it with her. We will miss her and we look forward to the day when we can
be with her again. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2005, 11 a.m.
at the Salt Lake Ensign Stake Center on the corner of Second Avenue and A
Street. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, June 7, from 6-8 p.m. at
Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple St., and Wednesday at the church from
9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1950 E.

Brooks, Ashley
Ashley Brooks 1982 ~ 2005 On June 3, 2005, our beloved daughter, sister,
cousin, niece, granddaughter, and friend, Ashley Brooks, died suddenly. We are
grief-stricken. We will forever miss sharing our lives with her. Ashley was a
loving soul, with a wonderful extended family and numerous friends. Born
October 10, 1982, Ashley lived as if anything was possible and she achieved
much as a woman, scholar, and athlete. A gifted student, she excelled in math
and science. She was a National Merit Scholar and received a prestigious
scholarship to attend the University of California-Irvine. Ashley was a junior
in biology at the University of Utah, working toward her dream of being a
physician. She recently discovered a love of teaching while working as a
teaching assistant in the anatomy lab. Ashley's love for soccer was an
integral part of her life. She played well, with passion and grace, for Judge
Memorial High School and for the Firebirds Soccer Club. One highlight of her
soccer career was a trip to Amsterdam where her team won the Holland Cup. She
leaves behind her loving and supportive parents, David and Marlene Plumlee and
Tony Brooks; two devoted sisters, Jady and Robyn Brooks; a stepsister, Sarah
Plumlee; and two stepbrothers, Jeff and Matt Plumlee. She also leaves behind
numerous cousins (including Jeremy, Joel, Allison, and Alex Brown, Leah
Versteegen, Cullen Husby, and Zachary and Matthew Campbell); and a wealth of
caring and affectionate aunts and uncles (including Lee, Robin, and Darrell
Brown, Debbie Janikowski, Jackie and Craig McCoy, Dorothy and Steve DeHart,
Melissa and Bud Moore, Jeaneen and Andy Campbell, and Mary Bicknell). For over
two years Ashley fought courageously against anorexia and bulimia, supported

Buhler, Roscoe Jesse
Roscoe Jesse Buhler 1920 ~ 2005 Roscoe Jesse Buhler, 85, passed away June 4,
2005 in Midvale, Utah as the result of liver cancer and diabetes. He was born
April 9, 1920 in Bern, Idaho to Joseph Jesse and Iris Grace Kunz Buhler. He
married Geraldine DeLores Chapman in Farmington, Utah on June 28, 1941. He was
a brick mason, building contractor, and owner and operator of A & F Traders
(antiques). Graduate of Jordan High School in 1937. Life member of
International Union of Bricklayers, his hobby was collecting antiques. He was
a member of the LDS Church, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survived
by wife, DeLores; children, Karen (James) Gurr, Victorville, CA; Judith
(George) Meldrum, Vancouver, WA; Ross, Midvale; Michael M. (Joyce), Sandy;
Geraldine (Paul) Farnsworth, Midvale; Christine (Barry) Bennett, Idaho Falls,
ID; Craig, (Teresa), Riverton; 33 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren;
brother, Joe (Joanne) Buhler; and sister, Virginia (Max) Belich Hawkins.
Preceded in death by three grandchildren; and siblings, Melvin D. Buhler,
Betty Yuhas, and MarJean Jacobson. Funeral services will be held Thursday,
June 9, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends

Clegg, Michael J.
Michael J. Clegg 06/28/72 ~ 06/04/05 Our beloved son, brother, father, uncle,
nephew and friend returned to his Heavenly Father Saturday, June 4, 2005. He
was born June 28, 1972 to Jim and Marie Clegg in Fullerton, California. He
graduated from Brighton High School in 1990 where he enjoyed sports and was a
state champion wrestler. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He attended Snow
College and played football there as well. He served an honorable mission in
Independence, Missouri from 1991 to 1993. Michael graduated from Utah Valley
State College with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Michael's
greatest loves in life are his two young sons, James and Ethan. He loved to
take his boys camping at Jordanelle and recently helped James catch his first
fish. They love and adore their dad! Mike was a great friend and had the gift
and ability of being able to relate to people from all walks of life. Even as
an adult, Mike loved to tease and joke around with his family. He was an avid
body builder and enjoyed competing in many different shows in the western
United States. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mike
is survived by his sons, James and Ethan Clegg (their mother, Cindy); his
parents, Jim and Marie Clegg; his brother, Randy Clegg (Amy); his sisters,
Heather Godoy (Luis), Amy Reich (Cory), and Jamie Clegg; along with his
Grandma Davis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and Penny
Paxman, his cherished and loving friend. Funeral services will be held
Wed-nesday, June 8, 2005, 11 a.m. in the Willow Creek Stake Center, 2350 East

Crossley, Betty Jean McEntire
Betty Jean McEntire Crossley 1929 ~ 2005 SAN DIEGO- Betty J. M. Crossley, 76,
passed into eternity on Fri., June 3, 2005, at her home in San Diego. She was
born February 12, 1929, in Ogden, the sixth child of Marshall A. and Amy T.
McEntire. On February 24, 1949, Betty married John H. Crossley. Their marriage
was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. She was an active member
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many
positions, including Young Women's and Relief Society Presidents. Her passions
were her family and quilting. Betty is survived by her husband, John, San
Diego; their three children, Jean (David) Sanders, Hemet, CA; Ken (Lorraine)
Crossley, Spanish Fork, UT; and Dale (Shelly) Crossley, Nampa, ID; 11
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her
parents, and siblings, Eldon, Mabel, Maureen, Virginia and Marshall. Funeral
services will be held Friday, June 10th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy
Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends and family may call at the mortuary on
Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Roy City Cemetery. A memorial

Dahl, Judith "Judy"
Judith "Judy" Dahl 1942 ~ 2005 KAMAS, UT- Judith "Judy" Dahl, 42, of Kamas,
Utah passed away on Monday, June 06, 2005, at her home. She was born on July
2, 1942 in Murray, Utah to Everett James and Cora (Goff) Dahl. She was a
graduate of Brigham Young University. She was a teacher for 36 years. Judy was
a member of the L.D.S. Church. She wrote and had published a book, "The
History of the Emerson School District." She is survived by her brothers Edwin
E. Dahl of Kamas, Utah and James C. Dahl of Heber City, Utah; sisters, Wendy
(Bob) Richins and Mary D. Lilienthal, both Coalville, Utah. Graveside service
will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 3401
Highland Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call at the Crandall
Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.

Eaton, Tamara Call "Tami"
Tamara (Tami) Call Eaton 2/4/69 ~ 6/3/05 On Friday, June 3, 2005 our world
lost a brilliant star and the heavens gained a dazzling beautiful one.
Although we will be without the glow of Tami's light until we join her, we
know that her love for us will shine on forever. "Tamara Sue" was born
February 4th, 1969 to Harold and Nancy Call of Bountiful Utah. She was loved,
teased, and grew up close to her brother, Michael; and her sisters, Shiree and
Teresa, she will be deeply missed by them. She married Michael Sorenson and
they had their two beautiful sons, Michael and Collin; they later divorced.
These boys were the light of her brief life. She married her "Harley
Companion" her beloved Dave Eaton May 4, 1996. Dave brought her more boys to
love, his sons Robert and Paul. She lived her life to bring happiness to the
people she touched. Her gentle heart and caring ways reached the lives of many
people in Bountiful and West Bountiful where she and Dave made their home.
Tami has a very tight-knit family. Her boys, Michael C. and Collin T.
Sorenson. Her stepsons, Paul D (Jennifer) Waldoch, Robert S. Eaton; and her
grandbabies, Kain, Gavin and Chloe and Darian. She is also survived by her
parents, Harold T. and Nancy Call (Bountiful), and Richard F. and Barbara S.
Eaton (Cottonwood); her siblings, Michael and Susan Call (West Bountiful),
Shiree and Scott Anderson (Bountiful); Teresa and Trent Coc-kayne
(Albuquerque, NM); Dave's siblings, William H. and Roxie Eaton (Las Vegas,
NV), Deborah S. and John Early (Sandy). Her adoring nieces and nephews,
Stacey, Shauna, David, Karly and Jeremy will be lost without their "Aunt Tam".
She comes from a very large family; many aunts, uncles and cousins will miss
her incredible smile, sparkling laugh, warm hugs and kisses. She leaves behind
a legacy of love. Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, June 8, 2005, 11
a.m. at the West Bountiful 6th Ward chapel, 1750 North 900 West, West

Ferguson, Ernest Clifford
Ernest Clifford Ferguson 1920~2005 Ernest Clifford Ferguson, 85, died June 5,
2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born February 21, 1920, in Salt Lake City to
Ernest and Agnes Kellgreen Ferguson. Married Helen Sandberg July 12, 1943 at
Lowry Field, Denver, Colorado. Marriage later solemnized in the LDS Temple.
Graduate of West High School, served in the Army on Guam during World War II.
Worked at Granite Mill and Fixture and for Granite School District. He was a
cub master for many years. He enjoyed building model airplanes. Ernie was very
meticulous in everything he did and enjoyed helping anyone who needed help. He
was proud and took care of his cars and enjoyed traveling. He was a very
loving husband, dad, granddad and great-granddad. Survived by his wife Helen,
sons, Ernest F., James D., Ronald R., and Douglas D. Ferguson; Sister Dorothy
Laker; step-sister, Colleen Jensen and stepbrother, Bob Gambee; 11
grandchildren and nine great-grandchil-dren. Preceded in death by brother,
Robert W. Ferguson, and grandson Michael S. Ferguson. Funeral services will be
12:00 noon Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the Imperial 2nd Ward, 1560 Atkin Ave.

Kenneth Roy Hendricks "Kenny" Our beloved son and brother, Kenneth Roy
Hendricks passed away on June 2, 2005 in Orem, Utah. He was born on April 23,
1985 in Provo, Utah to Ken and Kathy Jeffery, Hendricks. He will be missed by
his parents, brothers and sisters Kris (Ginna) Hendricks, Kari (Aaron) Bryan
(Kelly) Hendricks also his Grandparents, Clayton (Betty) Jeffery and George
(Jody) Ivins, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services
will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Highland 20th Ward
Chapel, 5848 West 11000 North, Highland, Utah. Family and friends may call

Hilton, Vera Lee Beckett
Vera Lee Beckett Hilton 1917 ~ 2005 Vera Lee Hilton, age 87, loving wife of
Barney Holbrook Hilton, died Sunday, June 5, 2005, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born in Leeton, Missouri, September 8, 1917, to Loren Philip Beckett and
Lettie May Dick Beckett, first of their nine children. She came to Pleasant
Grove, Utah in 1938, and met her sweetheart. They were married March 17, 1939,
in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Vera Lee was a dedicated wife and mother. She was
an intelligent woman who loved learning and teaching. She had a deep and
abiding love for her Savior and served willingly in many callings in The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; including three full-time
missions with Barney to Nauvoo, Illinois; Jacksonville, Florida; and the
Atlanta Georgia Temple. She had a beautiful singing voice, a flair for drama
and dancing, and loved to share a good joke. She was a wonderful cook and was
famous for her flaky piecrusts. Vera Lee is survived by her husband Barney and
six of their seven children; Donn and Katy Hilton, Michal and Allen Miller,
Stephanie and Steve Glende, Sally and Jim Everett, Sydney and Doug Whipple,
and Mark and Marinda Hilton; and sisters, Lucille Richins, Jean Pope and Julia
Clear. Preceded in death by infant daughter Patricia. She was the proud
grandmother of 29 and great-grandmother of 37. Thanks to the caring staff at
Federal Heights Care Center and VistaCare Hospice. Funeral services will be
held Friday, June 10, 2005, at 12 p.m. at the Winder 2nd Ward, 1361 East 4000
South. Friends may call Thursday evening, June 9, 2005, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Hipwell, Julia O.
Julia O. Hipwell 1914 ~ 2005 Julia Orullian Hipwell, quietly stepped out of
this life and into the arms of her beloved husband and parents on June 4,
2005. Julie was born on March 24, 1914 to Venus and Joseph Orullian in Salt
Lake City, Utah. She married William (Bill) Hipwell in 1951 who brought light
into her life everyday until his death in 1996. Julie is survived by six
loving brothers; Alma (Bessie), Hyrun (Dawn), Peter (Gloria), Daniel (Judy),
David (Janice), Ephriam (Virginia), and many nieces and nephews who loved,
respected and cared for her and Bill until their passing. Those who loved
Julie gathered around her at her passing for a beautiful family prayer. Julie
depended upon and was greatly served by her loving brothers and sisters-in-law
for many years. She was always grateful and appreciative of their kindness'.
The nieces and nephews who tended to her regularly will miss teasing her to
make her smile, although we were never a good stand-in for Bill. Julia worked
as a valued employee of the Glade Candy Company for many years. She was a
wonderful wife and homemaker and loved tending to her beautiful yard and rose
gardens. She will be missed by those who cared for and loved her. Funeral
Services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 12:00 in the Wasatch Lawn
Mortuary Chaple, 3401 South Highland Drive. Friend and family can honor Julia
Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at

McArthur, Michael J.
Michael J McArthur 1953 ~ 2005 ROOSEVELT - Michael J McArthur, age 52, died
June 5, 2005 at home of melanoma cancer. Born May 7, 1953 in Roosevelt to John
R. "Jack" and Jennie V. "Peggy" Gray McArthur. Married Julie Faye Gurr
November 20, 1971. Survived by wife, Julie, of Roosevelt; son, Marcell
(Heather) McArthur, Springfield, OR; daughter Cami (Chris) Billings and two
grandchildren, Sadie and Bentley Billings, all of Roosevelt; parents, Jack and
Peggy McArthur, Roosevelt; father-in-law, Beryl Gurr, Roosevelt; brothers and
sisters, Greg (Mary) McArthur, Stafford, VA; Sherry (Ben) Barto, Dubois, WY;
Don (Lori) McArthur, Snellville, GA; Kristi (Rick) White, Parowan, Utah.
Preceded in death by mother-in-law, Frankie Gurr, sister-in-law, Louella
Etheredge, brother-in-laws, Cecil Gurr, and Jim Moser. Funeral services will
be held Wednesday, June 8th, at 11 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 East
300 North, Roosevelt, where friends and family may call 1 1/2 hours prior to
the service Wednesday morning. Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park with
military honors by the Roosevelt American Legion.

Mogus, Michael R.
Michael R. Mogus 1931 ~ 2005 Michael R. Mogus, 73 of Tooele, passed away at
his home June 5, 2005. He was born in Louisville, Ohio to Joseph and Mary
Majestic Mogus November 9, 1931. He graduated from Louisville High School in
1949. Mike served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean
Conflict, 1951 through 1955, after which he was honorably discharged. Mike
married Jean Penok at St. Marguerite's Church in Tooele, Utah February 19,
1955. Mike was an avid bowler throughout the state of Utah, where he won many
titles, and competed in 28 National Bowling Tournaments. He was inducted into
the Salt Lake City Bowling Hall of Fame in 1984. He retired from the Tooele
Army Depot as a sheet metal layout worker. Mike was a member of St.
Marguerite's Catholic Church, BPO Elks, Fraternal Order of Eagles, The
Croatian Fraternal Union, and the American Bowling Congress. He leaves behind
his wife, Jean of 50 years: daughters Karen (Gary) Rounds, Kathy Chambers
(friend, Tom VonHatten); son Michael J (Therese) Mogus; three granddaughters,
Jennifer and Ashley Rounds, Kyra Chambers; brother George of Florida; sisters
Ann, Mary, Francis of Ohio; mother-in-law, Helen Penok. In lieu of flowers the
family requests donations to Friends of Tooele Valley Railroad Museum
(Endowment) 90th North Main, Tooele, Utah. The family wishes to express their
sincere gratitude to Community Nursing Services, Sue Barrus and Lori Griffin.

Nash, Rita Jones
Rita Jones Nash 1922 ~ 2005 Rita Jones Nash, who loved the Lord and all His
children, died June 4, 2005, after a stroke. She was 83. Love and service were
the keys to Mom's life. "I first learned the joy of service from my parents.
They were always actively engaged in serving the Lord and building up His
kingdom," she wrote in 1997. "It was a principle that came naturally to Karl
and me after our marriage because he was raised the same way." Her life was
devoted to family and church in both word and deed. Mom loved her husband
dearly; they were married for 57 very happy years. She also loved her family,
the gospel, her friends, her neighbors, her extended family, letters, visiting
on the phone, family reunions, sewing club, entertaining, reading, researching
and writing family histories, Nevada, and DUP. Finally she loved being with
Dad at Wentworth and then at CareSource when they could no longer be together
at home. Mom was born January 25, 1922 in Overton, Nevada, the sixth of seven
children born to Willard Larson and Lois Emily Earl Jones. She earned a
bachelor's of science degree in business and journalism from Utah State
University and wrote or broadcasted for KSL and KDYL in Salt Lake City, KENO
in Las Vegas, and as a columnist in the 1950s for the Deseret News. She met
Karl E. Nash in 1944 in Las Vegas (note: at church) and had this impression:
"He's going to be part of your future." They were married January 29, 1947, in
the Salt Lake Temple. Her service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints included a term from 1952 to 1957 on the Young Women's General Board;
as president of the YWMIA, Primary, and Relief Society; and as a teacher and
organist in other auxiliaries. She and Dad served a mission to Tampa, Florida,
from 1983 to 1985 and then they were ordinance workers in the Salt Lake Temple
for 11 years. She's survived by her husband and sons and their wives, Michael,
Richard (Laurie), Scott (Kathy), and foster son, Norman Brown (Bequi). Her
grandchildren are Paul, Emily, and Melissa; Jessica, Amy, and Sarah; and
Bethnie (Goldlin) Wall (and their daughter, Phoenix) and Roselyn and Jared
Brown. She is also survived by her sister, Wilma Adams (Tom) and a devoted
contingent of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents;
her infant son, Douglas; and by four sisters and one brother, Wendell Jones,
Erma Stewart, Merle Onstott, Flora Colton, and LaVerne Cox. Funeral services
will be held Thursday, June 9, 11 a.m. at the Foothill 4th Ward, 1794 South
Texas Street (2405 East). A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 8, from 6-8
p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, and at the church
Thursday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. Online

Thelma DaBell Adams Nielson 3/13/1913 ~ 6/ 4/ 2005 Thelma DaBell Adams
Nielson, 92, of Delta, passed away June 4, 2005 in Delta of causes incident to
age. Born March 31, 1913, in Rigby, ID to Leo Lawrence and Clara Almeda DaBell
Adams. Lived in Idaho, Wyoming, and California before settling in Salt Lake
City. She graduated West High in 1931. Married Clinton S. Nielson, April 9,
1934 in Salt Lake Temple. Married 66 years. Mom was a Homemaker, School Bus
Driver, and Motel Manager, and held various church positions. Parents of:
Karen (deceased), Janice (Neal) Larsen (deceased), David (Arta) Nielson,
Steven (Becky) Nielson, and Alan (Shauna) Nielson. 18 grandchildren and 36
great-grandchildren. Services: Wednesday, June 8, 2005, 11 AM at Delta 4th
Ward, 3rd W 2nd S Visitation: 9:30-10:45 AM. Burial Hyrum City Cemetery. The
family thanks Doctors and Health Care Providers at Millard County Care Center
for compassion, care, love and support of our mother while in their care. Also

Schuette, Gertrud K.
Gertrud K. Schuette 1907 ~ 2005 Gertrud Kirchhoff Schuette, 97, passed away
Sunday June 5, 2005. She was born October 21, 1907 in Schinne, Germany, the
daughter of Heinrich and Auguste Boettcher Kirchhoff. She married Karl
Schuette June 1, 1935 in Berlin, Germany and immigrated to the United States
in 1952 becoming a citizen in 1958. Karl and Gertrud's marriage was later
solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Gertrud was a member of The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints and worked tirelessly in the Relief Society
both in Germany and the US. She is survived by a niece, Ruth Mollenhauer and
other nieces in Germany. Also by special life long friends to whom she was
know as "Tante Trudchen." Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday June
9, 2005 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may
call 10 -10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Mountain View Memorial, 7800

Tolich, Anthony
Anthony Tolich "Tony" Anthony "Tony" Tolich, 78 of Salt Lake City, passed away
from heart failure June 5, 2005. He was born at Garfield Camp, Utah August 2,
1926 to John and Mary Mufich Tolich. Married Jean Wallace, later divorced.
Graduate of West High School and attended the University of Utah where he
played varsity basketball as a freshman. He made All City at West High School.
He participated for many years in various recreation leagues and church teams
in Salt Lake, along with his brother Mark who was rated the best basketball
player in the State, and from whom Tony learned sportsmanship and the love of
all sports. Tony was employed by Dixon Paper Company for 46 years, serving as
sales manager for the last 18 years. He retired in 1991. Tony served twice on
Boards for the Salt Lake AD Club and Bonneville Knife and Fork Club where he
served as President in 1983-1984. He started the Salt Lake Kiwanis
International Airport Club 25 years ago. Tony also supported Neighborhood
House programs. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. We will always
remember our brother for the love that kept our family together. As an uncle
there was no one better. For all the people he helped, he will never be
forgotten. He is survived by two sisters. Cathryn Tolich and Eve Fullmer,
niece Dr. Pamela Fullmer Mitchell (Burton), nephews John Tolich and Thomas
Tolich (Rhonda). Also, five grand nieces, three grand nephews and one great
-grand nephew. He was predeceased by parents, brother Mark and sister
Josephine Tolich. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at
St Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. Committal, Mt Calvary Cemetery,
4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral Directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons. In lieu
of flowers, donations in Tony's name may be made to the American Heart
