Argyle, Lucille Smith
Lucille Smith Argyle "Mom" 1923 ~ 2005 WOODS CROSS- Our beloved wife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lucille Smith Argyle passed away June 16,
2005 surrounded by her family after a five year battle with Alzheimer's. She
was born August 18, 1923 in Clearfield, Utah to Blenco and Martha Smith. She
was the youngest of three children. Unfortunately her father died when she was
only four years old. She fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Ralph
T. Argyle, and they were married June 17th, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple
for time and all eternity. They became the proud parents of five children:
Brent (Judy), Dennis, Jerry (Janice), Shiree (John), and Joan. Lucille is
survived by her husband, Ralph; five children; one sister (Marie); 25
grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
mother, father, brother (Vern), and daughter-in-law, Michelle. Mom was a
lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and
served faithfully in many organizations. She was also an active member of the
Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Mom was a great wife and mother, she touched
many lives and will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew her. We love
you Mom. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at
the Woods Cross Utah North Stake Center, 1509 West 1500 South, Woods Cross,
Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the
Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Monday morning from
9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City

Berry, Ethella Olson
Ethella Olson Berry 1919 ~ 2005 Ethella Olson Berry, 86, died Tuesday at 11:16
p.m. in her home in Salt Lake City after a brief illness. Born March 6th,
1919, in Vernon UT, she was a daughter of Carl Arvil and Altania Ann Allred
Olson and was raised and educated in Provo, Utah. Following her marriage to
Robert Berry in February 1942 she lived in California, Florida, Salt Lake
City, Illinois, and Colorado. She had been a resident of Cupertino, CA for
over 20 years before returning to Salt Lake City 14 years ago. She was active
in community and religious organizations and served as a LDS Church Service
Missionary for many years. She unselfishly gave to others all her life and
touched the hearts of many. Survivors include four brothers: Jay, Ted, Ike and
Stan Olson, a son, RJ (Jane Seward) Berry of Atlanta, GA; two daughters:
Kristin (Tim) Duffy of SLC; and Becky (Chris) Matthews of Denver, CO; and 12
grandchildren. Viewing on Sunday June 19th from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary
260 E South Temple. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Monday June 20th at
the Emigration 27th E Ward, 185 "P" Street, Salt Lake City. Friends may call
one hour prior to services. Interment will take place in the Salt Lake City

Berry, June E.
June E. Berry 1925 ~ 2005 June E. Berry passed away peacefully, June 14, 2005.
She was born June 1, 1925 in Torrington, CT., the daughter of Harold Kett and
Marjorie Beatrice Card Berry. She graduated from Torrington High School. She
received her Bachelor of Arts from BYU, her Master of Science from U of U and
Doctor of Education from BYU. She was a Librarian and taught at BY High and
College of Idaho and in the Granite School District. She lived a lot of her
life in her beloved West Mountain with her mother. She was very active in The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Sunday School Teacher,
Genealogy Specialist, Temple Worker, and Humanitarian Service Leader. Her
loves in life were: genealogy, humanitarian service and gardening. She loved
serving everyone around her. She was preceded in death by her father and
mother, and brother, Lloyd Berry. She is survived by her brother, William
Newell (Marilyn) Berry; her nephews and nieces, William Kett (Jane) Berry,
Mark Lynn Berry, Wendy (Thomas) Liddle, Lenard Scott (Sonya) Berry, Diane
Berry, Jilene (Brenden) Scott; along with all her great and great-great
nephews and nieces. They all loved her deeply as she loved them. She will be
greatly missed. Thank you to her ward family for their love and care for her.
Graveside services in her memory will be held Saturday, June 18, 2005, 2:00
p.m. at the Payson Cemetery, 805 East 400 North, under the direction of Walker

Black, Ron
Ron Black 1958~2005 Ronald Lee Black, age 47, passed away on June 14, 2005, in
his sister Linda's arms after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in
Columbus, Ohio, May 1, 1958 and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Salt
Lake City, Utah. He served in the U.S. Army as a crew chief on a MedEvac
helicopter. Ron owned several of his own businesses in Salt Lake City, worked
as a caretaker on a ranch in Soldotna, Alaska, and fished commercially. He
owned a 36 foot Tri-marand sailboat he planned to sail in Prince William
Sound. After diagnosed with cancer, Ron returned to Salt Lake City where he
worked as a manager for American Lenders until his death. Ron's strength,
stamina, courage, positive attitude, humor, and smile have inspired all who
know him. He taught so many of us by his example and made our lives richer by
his willingness to share his time, personality, and knowledge. Thank you, Ron,
for being our son, our brother, our father, our grandfather, our
father-in-law, our uncle, our nephew, our cousin, our friend. We love you! You
will be missed immensely! He is survived by his parents, Reed and Peggy Black
of Mesa, AZ; his five children Heather Christensen, Sarah Anderson, Lisa
Kilpatrick, Alan Pack, and Justin Black; sons-in-law Chris Christensen, Terry
Anderson, and Jim Kilpatrick; eight grandchildren Brooklynn, Aspen, Carson,
Cameron, Hannah, Sullivan, Fisher, and Alexa; seven siblings Peggy Stevens,
Donna Allen, Connie Myers, Robert Black, Linda Murray, Rick Black, and Chris
Black; in-laws Cal Cottrell, John Stevens, Danny Allen, Bruce Myers, Marilyn
Black, Ross Murray, and Jeanne Black; his biological mother, Barbara Van
Cleave; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends
in Alaska, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, and Cedar City. Ron was preceded in
death by his sister, Mary Cottrell, his biological father, Dallas Gray, and
his grandparents. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the Huntsman
Cancer Institute, Inspiration Hospice, and the Cottonwood Heights 1st Ward for
the care and tenderness they gave to Ron and his family. Funeral services for
Ron will be held on Saturday June 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM, at the Holbrook
Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may call on Friday evening from
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and again on Saturday morning form 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM prior
to the services. He will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Condolences

Dmitrich, Mary Milovich
Mary Milovich Dmitrich "Ma D" PRICE, Carbon County-Mary Milovich Dmitrich, 89,
beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother was called home on
June 15, 2005 at Castleview Hospital. She was the first born of 14 children to
Isaac "Iso" Milovich and Milica "Millie" Demich on March 25, 1916 in Winton,
Wyoming. Married Dan Dmitrich on July 24, 1935, later divorced. Mary retired
from JC Penny's where she left behind a community of friends and co-workers
after 40 years of dedicated service. Her reputation as an outstanding cook and
pastry maker was well known to her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening,
crocheting and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her son,
Mike (Bo) Dmitrich, Price; grandchildren, Stephanie Dmitrich, Price; Tony
(Sara) Dmitrich, Pleasant Grove; Dana Dmitrich, Murray; great-grandchildren,
M.J. Gardner, Beux Dmitrich, and Alex Dmitrich; brothers, Mike (Terresa)
Milovich, Lux (Laurie) Milovich, Ted (Charlene) Milovich; and numerous nieces
and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Nick, John, George,
Steve, Pete and Sam; sisters, Helen, Sophie, Angie and Jelisavka. Funeral
service, Saturday, June 18, 2005, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, with The
Very Rev. Father Athanasios Emmert officiating. Trisagion service, Friday

Haney, Stella H.
Stella H. Haney 1931 ~ 2005 Stella H. Haney passed away on Tuesday, June 14,
2005, at home with her loving husband by her side. She was born to Estella and
Orval Chambers on July 8, 1931, in El Paso, Texas. She married William C.
Haney on Nov. 5, 1954 in Elko, Nevada. Stella was an incredible cook and loved
sharing all her favorite recipes with her family and friends especially those
Mexican dishes that had been handed down from her mother. When anyone needed a
recipe, they knew just who to call. She was well known for her huge cookbook
collection. Her other passion was her collection of plants and flowers which
adorned her yard and home. She had a special gift to make anything grow.
Stella had a love for life and loved sharing it with everyone she met. She was
most proud of her family and all those times we spent together. Our family
gatherings will not be the same without her contagious laugh. She will be
deeply loved and missed by all! Stella is survived by her dedicated and loving
husband of 50 years; her sons, Bill (Shelly) and Troy (Julie); daughters Susan
Martinez (Ray), Toni Crosman (Aaron), Carrie Romano (Mike) and Samantha Lott
(Mike); devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;
brothers and sisters, Jack and Caroline Chambers, Jacqueline and Herb
Peterson, Judith and Eddie Thorne, Danny and Rory Chambers and Jeanette and
Danny Bain. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Troy Anthony
Haney. The family would like to express thanks for the sincere care that
Stella received from Dr. Anna Marie Edwards and also the nurses from Community
Nursing Services - Peggy, Sandi, Dana and Karen. Graveside services will be
held on Saturday, June 18th at 11:30 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E.
10600 S. in Sandy). Family and friends may share their condolences prior to
graveside services at 10:00 a.m. inside the mortuary.

Hereth, Lyle George
Lyle George Hereth 10/14/47 ~ 6/16/05 Lyle George Hereth was born in Everett,
Washington to L. Walter and Alvina Weber Hereth, the second of four children.
Lyle served his country from 1965 to 1968 in the U.S. Army with one year in
Vietnam. He earned an A.A. degree from Everett Community College in
Washington, a B.S. from Weber State University in Electrical Engineering
Technology, and an MEA from the University of Utah. Lyle and his sweetheart,
Margaret S. Brewer, were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple Dec. 19, 1978 for time
and all eternity. Lyle served throughout his life, giving freely of his time
and talents to his church, community, country and family. He loved acting,
cooking and being out of doors. Lyle is survived by his father, L. Walter
Hereth of Monroe, Washington; brothers, Kenneth and Mark Hereth; sister, Gay
R. Schwarzmiller; wife, Margaret S. Hereth; children, Christopher L. (Kara),
Walter L. (Veronica), Emilie S., Jennifer S., and Jacob L. Hereth; and
grandchildren, Audrey L. and E. Belen Hereth. Lyle passed away due to Renal
Cancer after a fight of nearly two years. The family wishes to express their
gratitude to the wonderful, compassionate staff at the Huntsman Cancer
Institute, as well as the IHC homecare nursing staff. Funeral services will be
held on Monday, June 20th at 1 p.m. in the LDS Chapel on Main Street and 2700
South in Salt Lake City, UT. The public viewing will be held from 5 - 8 p.m.
Sunday evening at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and one hour
prior to the funeral services at the church. Interment Murray City Cemetery.

Hogenson, Delores Capes
Delores Capes Hogenson 1911 ~ 2005 Delores M. Capes Hogenson, 94 dearly
beloved mom and grandmother passed away June 16 in Sandy, Utah. Born in West
Jordan on February 23, 1911. She was the eighth child of George and Delorah
Wood. She married the love of her life William (Bill) Capes on September 16,
1931. They had three children, Billie, Claudia and Allen. Bill passed away in
1964. She married Chester Midgley (deceased), and later Harold Hogenson--also
deceased. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who hosted many family
and other gatherings with her many friends. She was an amazing cook and
delighted her guests with a variety of culinary delights. She was very
artistic with ceramics and she loved to make beautiful lace dolls. She loved
traveling, dancing, and playing golf. She was preceded in death by Claudia who
died in 1968. She is survived by Billie (Gene) Lockwood and Allen (Sylvia)
Capes both of Sandy. She has eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and
nine great-great-grandchildren. There will be graveside services Saturday June
18, 2005 at 3 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy,
where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Steven Scott Judy 1961 ~ 2005 Beloved father, son, brother, friend has passed
away. Steven Scott Judy born July 7, 1961. Survived by his children: Joshua
S., Sarah A., Zachery S., and Elizabeth C.; the children's mother, Lisa Olsen;
his parents Don W. and Dellah H. Judy and eight siblings. "We will miss you

Larsen, Nicholas Isaiah
Nicholas Isaiah Larsen 11/24/82 - 6/13/05 Nicholas Isaiah Larsen was born
November 24, 1982 in Carmichael, California to Dan Carl Larsen and Dianna Lynn
Hardin. He was taken from us in a motorcycle accident June 13, 2005.
Graduating from Foothill High School, a member of the Jr. ROTC, he later
enlisted in the United States Army. A kind-hearted person with a strong desire
to serve others, he was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed spending much of his time outdoors. Survived by
his siblings, Olivia (Kevin), Dan II (Rebekah), Joshua (Cassandra), Sarah,
Rebecca, and Amanda; grandparents Merrill and Beverly Larsen and Donald and
Marianne Hardin. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday, 18
June 2005, at the LDS Church on 7350 South 1300 West, West Jordan. The viewing
will be between 1-1:45 p.m., with a ceremony following from 2-3:00 p.m. His
body will be laid to rest at 4 p.m. in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800
East, in Orem, Utah.

Linton, Kennedy
Kennedy Linton 2003 ~ 2005 Kennedy Linton, age 20 months, the beautiful and
loved daughter of Ryan Scott and Laura Linton, passed away in her parents arms
Tuesday, June 14, 2005 from brain cancer. She was born September 26, 2003 in
American Fork, Utah. Kennedy was our amazing little spirit. She loved
everything about life! Her spunky personality was with her since the day she
was born and she made an impact on everyone that she met. She made friends
everywhere by walking up to anyone, whether person or animal, pointing to
something and trying to carry on a conversation in her own little language.
She loved animals, always wanting to see the cats at "pa's" house and her many
trips to the zoo. Watching her the last 7 1/2 months of fighting her cancer
she was amazingly strong and taught us so much about life. She was the center
of our world and the joy she brought us will continue on to the next life. The
love we have for her is infinite and we can't wait til we can be with our
little angel again. Kennedy is survived by her parents, Ryan Scott Linton and
Laura Dickey Linton; grandparents, Dr. Dale Linton and Stephanie Linton; Dr.
Glenn Dickey and Valerie Dickey, and all the great-grandparents, uncles, aunts
and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 11:00
a.m. at the Foothill Ward Chapel, 4275 South Bountiful Blvd., Bountiful, Utah.
The viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon
Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday morning from 9:30 -
10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. Online guest

Noble, Richard Monroe "Alex"
Richard "Alex" Monroe Noble 6/9/86 ~ 6/15/05 Beloved son, brother and uncle,
Richard "Alex" Monroe Noble, 19, returned to be with his Heavenly Father, his
grandpa Dick and his Aunt Joanne on June 15, 2005. Born June 9, 1986 in Salt
Lake City, Utah to David Monroe Noble and Gail Barnett Noble. Member of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His great love was dirt biking
and mountain biking. He loved working with his dad. He was always fixing or
cleaning his and his dad's bike. He also loved music whether, it be listening
to it or making his own. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and playing
with Arie and Finn. We will miss his jokes, his drawing and his hugs. He was a
great joy to his family. Survived by parents, brothers, Jay (Jill); Mitch
(Sierra); Andrew (Natalie); Tadd; sister, Lyssa (Mike); the love of his life
his nieces and nephew, Arie, Finn, Eliza and Peanut; grandparents, Joseph and
Barbara Noble and Betty Barnett and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by grandfather Richard C. Barnett, M.D. and Aunt Joanne.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2005, 12:00 noon at the
Brighton 1st Ward Chapel, 2925 E. Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.) Friends and family
may call the day of the service at the church from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment
Mountain View Memorial Estates. Cannon Mortuary Funeral Directors. He will be
greatly missed by all of us, until we meet again.

Webster, Verl G.
Verl G. Webster 1909 ~ 2005 Verl George Webster, 96, our loved and respected
father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away June 14, 2005. He was
born May 6, 1909 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Lewis Phillip and Mary Jane Jones
Webster. He married Vivian Nevada Andrus in Logan, Utah on September 3, 1933.
Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Vivian preceded
Verl in death. Verl loved raising horses and other farm animals. He worked at
Safeway Stores as a meat cutter for 30 years. He was an active member of the
LDS Church. Survivors: children, Dennis V. (DeAnna), Michael G. (Carol), Karen
S. Krebs (George), Brenda Kay Welch (Dell), Christine Ann Farnsworth (Lynn);
he is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; in addition he
is survived by sisters, Lizzie Beckstead and Mable Handley. Preceded in death
by seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June
18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State where friends may
call Friday 6-8 p.m. or Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Lake
Hills Memorial Cemetery.

Wigham, Hugh Anthony
Hugh Anthony Wigham 1926 ~ 2005 ST. GEORGE, UT - Hugh Anthony Wigham, 78,
passed away in St. George, Utah on June 15, 2005. Hugh was born in Wales,
United Kingdom to Richard and Margaret Richards Wigham on October 2, 1926. He
married Betty May Penfold on June 7, 1947 and they were later sealed in the
London, England LDS Temple in 1961. Hugh attended high school in England. He
was a very active member of the LDS Church. He served three missions,
Singapore, St. George, UT and Portland, OR, was a Temple Worker in St. George
for six years, was a member of two Bishoprics and served in many other church
callings. Hugh served in the Elite Core of the British Army, the Queens
Regiment of GrenadierGuard for 12 years, guarding Buckingham Palace. Hugh
loved and was an avid soccer player. He was admitted to and served as
president of the Utah Hall of Fame Soccer Association and was known for
starting the Soccer League in Davis County, Utah. The family would like to
thank the staff of IHC Hospice for their loving care. He is survived by his
wife, Betty May; a son, David (Annette) Wigham; a daughter, Maureen (Terry)
Warden; a nephew, Kevin (Bonnie) Howard; a grandson, William Mason Arkle along
with six other grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in
death by his parents and one sister, Margaret "Peg" Howard. Funeral services
will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2005, 2 p.m., Red Cliffs LDS 1st Ward
Chapel, 259 N. Mall Dr., St. George, UT. Interment will be in St. George City
Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary (435) 673-4221. Condolences

Woodard, George T.
George T. Woodard 1923 ~ 2005 George T. Woodard passed away June 9, 2005 in
Murray, UT. Born December 19, 1923 in Panguitch, UT to Deward and Blanche
Heywood Woodard. Married Shirley Luke, later divorced. Married Betty Elton,
she passed away Dec. 29, 2001. Served in the US Navy 1943-1946 aboard the USS
General George O. Squire, a personnel transport ship. Moved to Murray in 1959.
Worked for Hi-Land Dairy retiring in 1985. Shortly after went to work for
Winder Dairy until 2003. George was a very hard worker and great provider. He
enjoyed pinenuttin', golfing, bowling and spending time with his family.
Everyone that knew him loved him. Survived by former wife Shirley, children:
Robert "Curt" (Vicki) Cuff, Thomas L. (Beverly) Woodard, Tamra (Brent)
Pollard, Brooke (Ronda) Woodard, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren;
sisters: Kathryn (John) Howa, Beth Whitney, Diane Cadol, Gretha (Warren) Eyre,
Sybil (Jim) Taylor. Preceded in death by several brothers and sisters,
including his close brother Paul. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June
18, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 So. State Street. Viewing
Friday, June 17, from 6-8 p.m. and one hr. prior to the service on Saturday.
Interment Murray City Cemetery. "Dad, we love you dearly. You will always hold
a special place in our hearts. Thanks for all you did for us."
