John L Anderson 1963 ~ 2005 Our intelligent, passionate, responsible proud friend, John Lindon Anderson, 41, left for his next challenge Nov. 5, 2005 with his loving partner and caretaker, Eric, by his side. John lived life to the fullest and encouraged others to do the same. He worked for IBM for many years, a job he loved and in which he took great satisfaction. John loved computers, political debate, traveling the world, and developing properties. John is survived by his chosen family Eric, David, Stewart, Doug, Rob, Chris, Blake, Mark, and Trace; as well as his dog Niles. John is also survived by his sister, Diane and her family; and his brothers, Mike, Mark, and Jim. He is preceded in death by his parents. John wishes to thank those who provided compassionate service to him in the last years of his life, Dr. Ries and Staff, Community Nursing Services, and Smith's Avenues Pharmacy staff. John's example of courage and strength will be remembered by all. In lieu of flowers, please contribute in John's name to the charity of your choice. Vahl W Bodily Beloved Father and Grandfather Vahl W Bodily, age 79, passed away November 4, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born August 15, 1926 in Gusher, Utah to Christopher William and Dorthea Bodily. He graduated from Alterra High School in 1944. As a young man Vahl served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Louisiana Mission. It was there where Vahl met his bride to be, Mary Jackson who was also serving in the mission. Vahl and Mary were married on February 7, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Throughout his working years Vahl owned his own industrial painting contracting company. As the business grew, he decided to relocate to Manhattan, Kansas to be closer to a major military contract. This proved to be a wonderful experience for the family. It was during his time in Kansas that he served as a bishop and stake president and was beloved by many. In their later years together, Mary and Vahl served as missionaries in the Singapore Mission serving in Indonesia and India, and as temple workers. Later in life he loved to hike the hills and mountains around St. George, Utah. When Vahl was asked about his greatest service he would quickly say he found his greatest joy in being the primary care provider for Mary during the last few years of her life. Prior to his death Vahl remained an avid hiker, temple worker, and name extractor for temple work. Vahl leaves a legacy of service to mankind and love of family. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by son, Kim (Kathy) Bodily of Salt Lake City; daughters, Lynne (Dale) Dewey of Eagle, Idaho; and Jeanne (Alan) Skidmore of Houston, Texas; sisters, Sylva Godwin and Ann Robinson; brother, Brett (Sarah) Bodily; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Mary, his wife of 55 years; Gail, his daughter, Quinton, his grandson; parents and four brothers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 So. where friends may call two hours prior to the service. Brandt, Susan Francisca (Ramos) Susan Francisca (Ramos) Brandt In loving memory Susan Francisca (Ramos) Brandt passed away on October 22, 2005 from complications secondary to Multiple Sclerosis. Susan was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was born July 15, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Jose and E. Marie Ramos. She married in 1995 to Michael C. Brandt. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Survived by husband Michael Brandt, Salt Lake City, UT; brother Alfred Ramos, Beaverton, OR; sister Linda Van Dolzer, Kaysville, UT; sister Maren Paget, Farmington, UT; son Andrew Brandt, Portland, OR. Susan graduated from Bountiful High School in 1975. After high school she went on to attend Brigham Young University. Susan enjoyed a career as a marketing manager for various high tech companies. In the last few years she returned to school at the University of Utah where she was studying psychology because she wanted to be a counselor to those in need. She loved to cheer on her teams -- the Denver Broncos and the New York Yankees. Prior to becoming ill, Susan enjoyed the outdoors and riding her bicycle. Not only attending the movies in a theater, Susan enjoyed marathon movie sessions at home, as well. Susan will be missed dearly by her family and friends whose lives she touched with her wonderful humor, smile and lovingness. A memorial service will be held on November 11, 2005, 7:30 p.m. at the Fairways Chapel, 1533 North 1075 West, Farmington, UT. Interment will take place in Portland, Oregon. Bunnell, Carol Roberts Carol Roberts Bunnell 8/02/23 ~ 11/02/05 Our wonderful mother passed away November 2, 2005. She looked forward to being reunited with her father and mother, Frank Roberts and Zella Lichfield Roberts; her brother, Harold Roberts; and sisters, Fay Berrey and Beth Purdue. Carol lived a full and interesting life. She had great adventures traveling the world. She worked hard throughout her life managing her properties to support her six children. She graduated from BYU and was a talented artist. Her art talent served her well while she worked for Walt Disney in her younger years. She was also a resourceful businesswoman. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings throughout her life ranging from Cub Scout leader to Relief Society teacher. Her testimony was a great gift to her children, Marjie Peterson (Dennis), Craig Bunnell (Pam), Bob Bunnell (Jann), Bonnie Scharman (Randy), Mike Bunnell, and Barbara Frederick. She married Alton Bunnell in the Salt Lake Temple, November 20, 1944. Mom showed us the value of hard work. She never believed in being a burden to others. She worked hard and provided well for her children. She was the recipient of the American Spirit Award. She took time to enjoy the world and share it with her family. She helped her children develop a love of music and art. She always emphasized the value of an education and continued learning throughout her life. She gave her children a desire to explore the world. Her adventures in traveling were never common. She's been a loving mother, grandmother of 19, and great-grandmother of 17. We will miss her fun sense of humor, her outlook on life, her courageous nature, and her loving kindness. Butler 1955 - 2005 Raddie Lyle Butler, age 50, died Nov 3, 2005 of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident near Grantsville, Utah. He was the son of Bill and Evelyn Butler. Christensen, Anna Beardall Anna Beardall Christensen 1911 ~ 2005 Anna Beardall Christensen died peacefully Thursday November 3, 2005 at the age of 94. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and aunt. Anna was born to George Lavell Beardall and Emma Childs Beardall, February 20, 1911 in Springville, Utah. During her early childhood the family lived in Bingham while her father worked at the copper mine. She attended schools in Springville and lived most of her life there. Anna graduated from BYU with a degree in education and home economics. As a young woman she enjoyed teaching sewing at Moroni High School, Richfield High School, and finally Springville High School. She married the love of her life, Maiben Lee Christensen, December 15, 1950. Anna was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many church callings, and loved teaching. Anna especially loved being a stake missionary and working in the Provo Temple with her husband, Maiben. As their health began to fail, it became necessary to move to South Salt Lake and be near their son, Warren. They worried about moving after a lifetime in Springville. But the Lincoln Heights Ward welcomed them with acceptance and service. The ward took them in as a "hen gathereth her chickens under her wing." She is survived by her son, Warren (Kathryn) Christensen; grandson, Peter Christensen; a niece, Bonnie Decker; and a nephew, John Beardall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maiben L. Christensen; and brother, Warren Beardall. Services will be held Tuesday November 8, 2005, 11 a.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary, and one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Published in the Deseret News on 11/6/2005. Coult, Elayne Elayne Coult 1925 ~ 2005 Elayne Ruth Griffiths Coult returned home October 29, 2005 at the age of 80. She was born Sept 12, 1925 in Salt Lake City to parents Lewis Morgan Griffiths and Juena Ruth Ogden Griffiths. As a young person, Elayne loved to dance, sing, and was athletic and enjoyed friendships. Elayne graduated from East High School and the Salt Lake County School of Nursing. She married Melvin Coult in 1945 which was solemnized in the Logan Temple in 1946. Elayne was a respected and caring nurse. She worked for several hospitals including Salt Lake County Hospital and the University of Utah Medical Center where her leadership skills were instrumental in opening and helping to developing one of America's most respected outpatient clinics. As well as managing her career she was devoted to her four children and husband. She raised her children with humor and love. They spent time together camping, boating, and fishing. She provided tremendous support of her children's love of sports, and her husband's passion for racing homing pigeons. Elayne had a considerable enthusiasm for University of Utah football and basketball. Elayne made sure home was always cheerful and warm, especially during the holidays for family and friends. She is survived by her four children, Mickey Coult, Jack Coult, Terry Coult, and Wanda Higdon; her sister, Lorrie Beard Griffiths; grandchildren, Courtney Rasband, Stephen Coult, Beth Deaton, Andrea Higdon, Terry Clayton, Jackie Mitchell, Kristen-Holly Coult, Dane Coult; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Lar- kin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 So, Saturday November 12th at 2 p.m. A viewing will be 12:30 p.m. at the same location prior to the funeral service. Internment will be at Wasatch Lawn immediately following. Published in the Deseret News on 11/6/2005. Croft, Jeanne Blakley Jeanne Blakley Croft 1937 ~ 2005 Jeanne Blakley Croft passed away Friday, November 4, 2005 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 29, 1937 in Prosser, Washington to Sidney Wayne Blakley and Dollie May Welch Blakley. She married Donald Brent Croft March 22, 1957 in Kennewick, WA and had two darling daughters, Karen and Lisa. Jeanne was a quick-witted, vivacious person with the ability to laugh at life. Her personality was contagious and brightened everyone around her. She delighted in giving dinner parties, setting an elegant table, and preparing scrumptious meals for family and friends. She enjoyed knitting and created several beautiful afghans. Working crossword puzzles kept her mind sharp; she relished playing cards, especially Bridge, but her favorite game was Pinochle, at which she was an EXPERT! Jeanne was very involved throughout her life. Growing up in WA she participated in several school activities including being a majorette. She was also a librarian and loved to read. She held a variety of jobs, but most of her "working years" were spent at New Mexico State University serving as Marketing Specialist for the Department of Agriculture. She helped establish the International Connoisseurs of Green and Red Chile and enjoyed inducting numerous famous personalities into the ICGR Society, as well as promoting chile worldwide. She made many dear friends working with the chile industry, and had a blast at many a "Hatch Chile Festival!" Jeanne and Don divorced in 1987, but managed to keep a cordial relationship which enabled pleasant interaction at family gatherings, an unusual accomplishment greatly appreciated by their family! Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Karen (Ed Payne), and Lisa (Lynn Meinzer), and her grandchildren, Sid, Penny (Tyler Ince), Jillian, Greg Payne, Tara (Bill Barber), Tres, Lisa, Scott, David Romney; many good friends and loving relatives. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship that will live on through her family till we all meet again. DuBois, Michael Wayne Michael Wayne DuBois 1947 ~ 2005 Michael Wayne DuBois passed away Nov. 3, 2005. Mike was loved by co-workers, neighbors, golfing buddies and most of all by his family. Born May 18, 1947 to Rebecca Pearson DuBois and Eli DuBois in Salt Lake City. He graduated from East High School in 1966. Michael followed in the footsteps of his father and brothers and enlisted in the Army. He served honorably from 1966-69. He was very patriotic and loved his country. While at Ricks College he met his sweetheart, Linda. They were married in the Logan Temple April 18, 1975. Michael loved to read and write, especially poetry. He was an avid sports fan and was very competitive. Next to his sweet Linda, golf was his passion. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in numerous positions. He loved the gospel and cherished his testimony. Michael generously loved all those he knew. He left memorable impressions on all he met. He is survived by is wife, Linda; children, Marci (Raymond) Niesporek, Tyler, Ivan, Emilee; grandchildren, Raymond, Kyle, Eric, Chance, Johnny, and Skyler; sister, Janet Perry; and brother, David Barney. Born on January 31, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Wallace Hague Ellis and Sue Jones Ellis. In his early years John worked hard doing science fair work projects, practicing the piano, and becoming an Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Highland High School and attended Northwestern University where he received a B.A. in 1981. He continued his education and received a JD from Boston University and a L.L.M. (taxation) from New York University School of Law in 1985. John practiced law in Boston for 20 years and was currently a member of the Law firm of Gesmer Updegrove. He enjoyed his profession and worked diligently pursuing excellence in all that he did. Among the degrees on his office wall was a certificate of award from Rosslyn Heights Elementary for perfect attendance in 1968. This was always an item of interest and amusement with colleagues and clients. John's sense of adventure began at a young age with summers at Bear Lake and trips with the family. He loved all water sports especially water skiing and in later years scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking. He also enjoyed snow skiing and hiking in the beautiful mountains of Utah. John's love of travel was another interest that took him to destinations all over the world. Whether climbing the glaciers of Torres del Paine, running white water in Costa Rica or exploring the wonders of the Okavanga Delta in Botswana, John experienced every minute to the fullest. John had a wide host of friends in Boston, across the U.S. and all over the world. His loyalty and generosity were well known as was his lightening bolt wit. He will truly be missed but the memories are enduring. "John stories" will be told for years and always with a smile and a laugh. He is survived by his parents Hague and Sue Ellis, his brother Daniel, sisters Elaine (Henry Wurts) and Mary Ann (Brad Cassell) two darling nieces Emma and Madeline. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved and enjoyed all his life. Wayne was born January 5, 1962 in American Samoa to Misa Ofaatu Faamausili and Mele Letua Faamausili. He married Julie Afitu Fammausili April 20, 2000. Wayne loved dancing, football, playing cricket, and he always played jokes on his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Amy, Mele, Eric, Frankie, Kinston, Whitney, Jessica, Pelesala and Precious; brothers, Tavui Misi, Misa, Tavita; sisters, Tupou, Maina, Maila, Lauiula; and aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces. Fox, Lawrence Creighton Lawrence Creighton Fox Bud Lawrence Creighton Fox (Bud) was born July 1, 1927, in Flint, Michigan. He was tragically killed in an auto accident Thursday morning, November 3, 2005. He was the only child of Lawrence Henry Ellis and Cleta LaRene McBride Fox. As a young boy, Bud had his own radio program called "Buddy and His Gang" and also appeared in the Little Rascals. He served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Nevada. He then mar-ried Darleen Phyliss Jorgen-son in July of 1949 and had four boys. He was a machinist for the Rocketdyne Corporation that later became North American Aviation. He was currently employed with New Life Office Systems where he worked with two of his sons. He was an active member of the LDS Church currently working with his wife serving as the assistant coordinators in the Cottonwood Creek Assisted Living Center. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Alpine Country Club. He spent many hours of his life teaching skills, playing the game, and watching his family compete and enjoy the game with him. His first love was his family and never missed an opportunity to tell everyone he met how proud he was of all of their accomplishments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Darleen, of 57 years; his sons, Dr. Lawrence T. (Cheri), Clifton, VA, Bruce Alan (Jeanette), Overton, NV, Alan Dale (Terry), Salt Lake City, UT, Jeffrey L. Garrett, Patricia Jean Bourne Patricia Jean Bourne Garrett Patty Our Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend, Patty, passed away at home on Nov. 3, 2005 in Kearns, after a valiant and courageous 2 year battle with Cancer. She lived her life as she left us, with honor, courage, beauty and perfect love. She was born March 20, 1945 to George Bradford Bourne and Effie Flowers Bourne in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Graduated from Granite High School in May of 1963. Married her high school sweetheart, Dean Paul Garrett, in the Salt Lake City Temple, for all eternity on July 1, 1964. Dean was the center of Pat's Universe and her cherished companion and she will be waiting patiently for their Eternity Together. Patty had a very full life traveling and creating memories with her husband. Her loves were Dean, spending time with her children, getting down playing with the grandchildren, her siblings, her cats, doing church service, scriptures, genealogy, crafts of all kinds, gardening (everything that comes with it), out door activities especially biking, meeting new people, and helping those in need. Most of all she loved life and all it had to offer. She was loved by all. Many considered themselves as one of her children. If you knew her, she touched your life with kindness, generosity, and above all love. She was truly an angel on earth sent to enlighten and encourage anyone that needed her and she will be greatly missed. Patty's children are very blessed to have had her as a mother. It gave her great pleasure to have one last family outing together at Wolf Creek. She is survived by her husband Dean, and five children, Sharon (Lisa) Haskan, Steve (Cindy) Garrett, Mike (Tina) Garrett, Kim (Skye) Sargent, and Jessica (Hugh) Stock, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters Barbara (Mike) VanRoosendaal, Sheila (Gordy) Harry, and brother Brad (Shelly) Bourne. She was born in Wadsworth, NV July 28, 1904 to Thomas W. and Jane Ellen Collins. Genevieve attended school in Idaho and later moved to Everett, WA where she met and married her husband of over 50 years, Wilfrid Hickison. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Genevieve and Wilfrid had three daughters. Their oldest daughter, Barbara, married and remained in Seattle when Genevieve and Wilfrid moved the family to Salt Lake in the late 1940s. Genevieve worked for the LDS Church in the Genealogy Library Microfilm Dept. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and lived true and faithful all of her days. She happily fulfilled many callings. She was secure in her belief that upon her death she would be reunited with her loving husband. Genevieve was a talented pianist and organist; she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and many needle crafts. She loved animals and had many different kinds of pets over the years. She is survived by two daughters, Mitsi (Jim) Perkins, Boise, ID, and Janis (Dale) Elton, North Salt Lake, UT; 12 grandchildren, Bret Elton, Kathy Elton, Tom Sparks, Sandy Garhart, Cookie Vigil, Bill Sparks, Corry Perkins, David Perkins, Jared Perkins, Ruth Palmer, Jane Sorensen, and Bill Perkins; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter. Knight, Jo Lewis Jo Lewis Knight 04/30/27 ~ 11/04/05 Jo Lewis Knight passed away peacefully in his Mapleton home due to complications of prostate cancer November 4, 2005 surrounded by his family. Jo was born in Salt Lake City April 30, 1927 to Charles Lewis and Elsie Roberta (Dansie) Knight. He married Janette Mae Chapman August 29, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After their marriage they lived in Salt Lake City until 1963. The family moved to Springville where they lived until 1983 after which they relocated to Mapleton. He loved raising his family here. Kyriopoulos, Frank William Frank William Kyriopoulos "Will Be Missed" Frank William Kyriopoulos, 61, beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, died November 2nd of complications during heart surgery at Bethesda Naval Medical Center. Frank was born to Afton and James Kyriopoulos and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America and became an Eagle Scout. Frank later received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and Masters degrees from the American University of Beirut and Marymount University. Throughout his career, he served at various international and national posts and founded the Arabic Language Program at the Air Force Academy in 1976. He moved to Springfield, VA in 1981. A retired Air Force Officer, Frank was a senior Arabic translator for SAIC. He was also a locally renowned Elvis impersonator who once performed for President Clinton. She was born February 2, 1920 in Clarkston, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Norman and Rhoda Griffin Dahle, the fifth of seven children. Myrtle was raised and educated in Cache Valley where she said "the air was clean, the work hard, and the love flourished." After she graduated from North Cache High School she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she worked at the Glade Candy Company, the Federal Reserve Bank and later for First Security Bank. She married George Hiram Lyon of Laramie, Wyoming on October 31, 1944. Together they had three sons: Joseph, David and Edward. She loved raising her boys in Bountiful and cherished the many friends she made there. Myrtle was an active member of the LDS church and loved the gospel. She devoted much of her time to genealogy and temple work. Myrtle is survived by Joe and Nancy Lyon, Bountiful; and David Lyon, Layton; seven grandchildren and three great-grandsons whom she adored; and her sister, Margene Clark. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 1, 1925 to Virgil A. (Xenia) Parry and Delpha Jane Jacobsen, who lived only the first five years of her last child's life. He grew up in boarding houses and various homes in the Avenues in Salt Lake City and in southeastern Idaho (Montpelier and Pocatello), served his country for over three years in the US Army, and spent two 1/2 years in post-war Great Britain on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of his closest friendships were formed there, especially with President Selvoy J. Boyer, who became a second father to him, and with Alan Swan, for whom the family will be eternally grateful. Indeed, the Lord smiled on him throughout his life through friends who loved him in the way that Christ both envisioned and epitomized during his mortal ministry. He married Lou Wana Marie Grundvig on January 19, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple, and they became the parents of eight children, two of which died while still very young. They eventually made their home in Sandy, after their first years in Idaho (Moscow and Montpelier). He studied English at the University of Utah and law at the University of Idaho, and was a claims adjustor for a time with Aetna Life and Casualty and Preferred Risk. In his later years he took particular delight in serving as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple. He had tremendous talent and love for the art of photography. Remaining are his wife, who did for him all that God could possibly have asked her to do; six children: Trae, Ruth Elizabeth Berrett (Richard), Gordon Robert Parry (Maren), Joseph Douglas Parry (Catherine), Rachel Ann Parry, and Rhea Jane Unferdorfer; 14 grandchildren. Awaiting him on the other side of eternity were his daughters, Kita Kita Brenna Parry (4) and Kirsten Marie Parry (seven precious hours). Born in Midway, Utah to John Emeli-us and Elizabeth Bergner Berg, January 29, 1908; she later moved to American Fork, Utah where she attended school, graduating from American Fork High School. In 1929, she married Howard Peterson in the Salt Lake Temple. They began their married life in American Fork, but later moved to Burlingame, California, where they spent much of their married life. She and Howard returned to Utah in 1974, settling in Orem. Vida was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many organizations in her ward in Burlingame. She started the first Primary in Burlingame in the 1940's, holding the first meetings in her home. She was a visiting teacher through her entire adult life. She served a mission with her husband in the Virginia, Roanoke Mission in 1975-76. She also served as an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple for many years. Most recently, she served in the Member Locator Mission, in American Fork, Utah, until December, 2003. Vida was proud of her pioneer heritage and was active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers in California and Utah. She loved to work with her hands, making quilts and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to work in her garden. Her husband and two sons, Robert Howard and Grant Berg, preceded Vida in death. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Mrs. Clark) Webb, of Lindon; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marie Brown, of Orem. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff, especially the nurses and aides, at Hearts for Hospice for their loving care and concern for Vida in her last days. They were married in Neola, UT and began their lives together in Duchesne, UT. They later spent many years in Richfield, UT before moving to Murray in 1972. Cle was an example of service, love, and devotion to her family and friends. Our lives have been greatly blessed by our association with her. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and especially cherished her 50 years of marriage to her late husband, Wally. What tears of joy must have flowed as their hope of a reunification has been realized. Cle was also an avid bridge player, an excellent cook, and enjoyed both snow and water skiing. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her. Margie attended beauty school and became a licensed cosmetologist where she worked on Hollywood Blvd for several years. After raising her family, she owned and operated Classic Wigs in the Cottonwood Mall. Beauty was a big part of her life both in her career and by the way she lived her life. She enjoyed the art of dancing, loved reading good books and the scriptures. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings during her life. Margie lived a prosperous life filled with love and kindness, always sharing her beautiful smile with all who grew to love her. A special sparkle was always there for those men that entered her life. She was grateful to her youngest daughter, LaVella, and her loving husband, Bernie, for the wonderful care they gave to her over the years, especially in her final days. She was married to her eternal companion September 21, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple. Donna learned from an early age to be a hard worker who never asked for anything, but was always eager to give everything. This was especially true to her dear husband and family. Some of her last words were "I've had a good life...I'm worried about Dad, take care of him." Her family was the joy of her life, with no thought, she devoted her life to us and would have given her life for us. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She spent her life serving in many positions in the church. In the last four years Donna and Jack served together as temple workers and inter-city missionaries. Donna loved attending the many events that her children and grandchildren participated in. She loved the outdoors, camping in their trailer, and any type of travel. She loved to cook and took great pride in maintaining a "perfect" home. We know she is happy, but we will miss her. Wilkins October 27, 1990 in Salt Lake City. She was a homemaker and mother of two wonderful children, Melissa Yvette, 12, and James Anthony, 9. She loved scrap booking, collecting Beanie Babies, and caring for her family. She has many loving relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Woolley 1920 ~ 2005 Frances Alice Curtis Woolley died peacefully after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer and Parkinson's diseases on October 23, 2005 at the Wesleyan Nursing Home in Georgetown, Texas. Frances was born in South Jordan, Utah to Ross and Alice Curtis on May 26, 1920. She met and married her High School sweetheart, John C. Woolley, while attending South High School in Salt Lake City. The couple was married on May 16, 1938, just prior to graduation. Frances was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. All who knew her will sorely miss her. Her family has fond memories of the many holidays celebrated together, especially the annual Christmas Eve gathering she always hosted. She loved her garden and took great joy in the beauty of her roses and flowers which she planted and tended each year. She is survived by her sister Beatrice Curtis Macdonald, Salt Lake City; her daughters, Kaye W. Parrish, Maui Hawaii; Michelle Shaughnessey, Heber City; her sons, Jeffery R. Woolley, Salt Lake City; C. Brent Woolley and his wife Patricia, Georgetown, Texas; her daughter-in-law, Toni Woolley, Maui, Hawaii; son-in-law, Walter Shaughnessey, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren and six great-grand-children. Frances was preceded in death by her husband John; her eldest son, Lynn Jack Woolley; her brother, Darwin Curtis; and her sisters, Ruth Curtis Goff, Shirla Curtis, and Sharon Curtis Steadman. A memorial service will be held at the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State St., Midvale, UT on Saturday, November 12th, at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Sandy City Cemetery.
