She was born March 16, 1918 in Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah, the second child and only daughter of Charles Edwin and Rachel Welch Lofthouse. She married Fred Alvin Bingham June 24, 1947 in the Logan LDS Temple. As a child she lived in West Point, Paradise, Randolph, Ogden, Utah and Rock Springs, Wyoming. She graduated from Weber High School and the Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she became a registered nurse. She worked as a nurse at the hospital in Payson, Utah and the Veteran's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. She served her country during World War II in the U. S. Army Nurse Corps. She served at Bushnell Army Hospital in Brigham City, Utah before being sent overseas. While overseas, she was stationed in England, France and Belgium. She was released from active duty as a First Lt. with the nurse corps in December 1945. She attended Utah State Agricultural College (USU) and worked at the Budge Clinic in Logan, Utah until her marriage in 1947. She later worked at the Cooley Memorial Hospital and the Brigham City Community Hospital. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Honeyville Second Ward. She served in various church callings including Sunday School teacher, Primary worker, counselor in the Relief Society and missionary in the Foreign Name Extraction, German Program. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She is survived by her seven children: Thomas M. (Julene) Bingham, Byron F. (Karen) Bingham, both of Honeyville, Utah; Jay C. (Diane) Bingham, Georgetown, Texas; Rachel (Keith) Holdaway, Garland, Utah; Lynn S. (Terri) Bingham, Boise, Idaho; Marie Bingham, Smithfield, Utah; Eva (Neil) Persson, Riverdale, Utah; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children and one step great-grand-child. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Edwin W. Lofthouse. The family thanks the staff at Emeritus Estates for the loving care they gave her during the time she lived there and to IHC Hospice, especially Julie Lee for her care and compassion. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Honeyville LDS Chapel, 2620 West 6980 North, Honeyville. Bradford, John Henry John Henry Bradford 6/13/1951 ~ 11/6/2005 John Henry Bradford died peacefully November 6, 2005 from respiratory heart failure after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was a positive, fun-loving person and will be greatly missed. John was born June 13, 1951 to Henry Davis and Virginia Taylor Bradford. He attended East High School, graduating with the class of 1970. John loved engines and anything mechanical. In 1971 he attended United Airlines Jetma School in San Francisco. He was employed by Dunford Bakery for five years, and he worked two years at Utah Waste Paper Company. John also worked 16 years for the Salt Lake City School District until heart surgery and Multiple Sclerosis forced an early retirement. John enjoyed water sports, especially boating and using a water kite. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, trips to family cabins and any kind of camping activity. His family appreciated his ability to repair anything at a moment's notice. His talent for telling humorous stories will leave heart warming memories with family and friends. His spiritual insight and sensitivity blessed many lives. His creative talents extended to a love of music. John's perfect pitch benefited his performance on keyboard in several bands where he also played the drums. John was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His favorite calling was working in the Salt Lake Temple, which he did from June 1995 to May 1998. John was the youngest of five children and the only boy. He very much appreciated his oldest sister Gerri's loving care in her home while recovering from heart surgery and dealing with MS related problems. He also felt blessed to be cared for by the outstanding staff at the Arlington Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center, Harmony Hospice and Hearts for Hospice for the past five years where he formed many wonderful friendships. Thank you Paul, Flora, Rosie, Linda, Betty, Nick and others who made each day of John's life peaceful and comfortable. He is survived by his four older sisters, Geraldine B. Russell, Salt Lake city; Marilyn B. Cutler (Kent), West Valley; Annette B. Dunford (Wyn), Seattle; and Barbara B. Brinton (Jim), Provo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10 at 12:00 noon at the Foothill 7th Ward Chapel at 2215 Roosevelt Avenue in Salt Lake City. Published in the Deseret News from 11/8/2005 - 11/9/2005. Christensen, Que H. Que H. Christensen 1919 ~ 2005 Que H. Christensen, age 86, passed away, unexpectedly, at his home on November 6, 2005. He was born May 10, 1919 in Mayfield, Utah to Clinton Hyrum and Alice E. Whitlock Christensen. He graduated from Manti High School in 1937. After graduation, he attended Snow College and Utah State University. As a young man he enlisted in the National Guard, completed Officers Candidate School, and served four years active duty as part of the 145th Field Artillery in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Que was honorably discharged from the service in 1946. He continued his military service in the Army Reserve and retired a Lieutenant Colonel in 1979. While in the service he married his high school sweetheart, Elma Hall. They were married on December 30, 1942. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Que was an active member of the LDS church and faithfully served in various church callings. He loved singing in the ward choir. For the past seven years he attended church with Elma at the nursing home branch. Upon completion of active duty, Que and Elma made their home in Manti, Utah, where Que began his career with the State of Utah at the Department of Employment Security. Later he was transferred to Salt Lake City. After 40 years of loyal service, he retired as one of its directors. His children, unfamiliar with his job responsibilities, referred to him as the "President of the Unemployed." Que's greatest joy was his wife and family. He loved spending time with them; when the children and the grandchildren would visit, he always made sure that they had a bowl of ice cream before they went home. He supported his family by attending countless sporting events, school activities and recitals. For the past 10 years, Que had cared for his ailing wife. He visited her daily at the nursing home. His faithful service has exemplified unconditional love. Que and Elma enjoyed traveling together. They visited countries throughout the world. Que's hobbies included: gardening, golfing, bowling, and reading. Que had many friends. He would never miss his morning breakfast and golf with his retired buddies. He also enjoyed his association with friends from the "Ho Ho" group. He is survived by his wife, Elma; six children, Karen (Terry) Jensen, Connie (Grant) Palmer, Shirley (Fritjof) Langeland, Joyce (Jim) Fenton, Que (Jan) Christensen, Patti (Vaughn) Walsh; sister Karma J. Allred (Keith) MacKay; 29 grandchildren and 291/2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Stake Center, 2245 East 3900 South. Coon, Julanne Julanne Coon 1924 - 2005 Julanne Susie Gillett Taylor Coon, our dear wife, mom, and grandma returned to her Heavenly Father on November 4, 2005 in Salt Lake City, UT. Julanne was born on January 5, 1924, in Magna, UT to James Mead and LaVona Jane Hansen Gillett. She was the eldest of six children and lived her life years in Lehi, American Fork, Garfield, Magna, Big River, CA and Salt Lake City. She graduated from Cyprus High in 1942. She married Clyde B Taylor in 1943, later divorced. Together they had seven children; Sandra, Denny, Jane, Jill, Jone, Susan, and Nancy. For the last 40 years she has been married to her sweetheart and eternal companion, Floyd Allen Coon. Mom loves the Lord and has a strong testimony of the Gospel. Prayers and Priesthood blessings were a comfort to her throughout her life. She loved to study the scriptures and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with others, especially the missionaries. She loved teaching gospel doctrine classes and attending education week at BYU. Mom was active in community affairs and worked tirelessly along with Laura Jo McDermaid and Beth Archilbald to better the town of Magna and the residents there. She worked to establish the first Rape Crisis Center on the west side of the valley. She enjoyed being with grandkids, bearing her testimony, growing flowers in Big River, going to Club with her girlfriends from school, eating Mexican food, and saying "wonderful." She also had a knack for making grandchildren think they were her "favorite." Mom had a beautiful smile and loved to share it with everyone. Julanne leaves behind her dear husband Floyd, daughters: Sandra (Brent-deceased) Thomas, Jill Julanne Robertson, Jane (Bill) Nice, Jone Johnson, Susan (Carl) Duckworth. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, daughter, Nancy, son, Denny and son in law, Brent Thomas. Hardman, Charlie Charlie Hardman 1921 ~ 2005 Grandpa Charlie Hardman, 84 of Orem, passed away November 5, 2005 following a short illness. He was born August 24, 1921 in American Fork, Utah to Charles Hardman and Jennie Binns Hardman. He graduated from American Fork High School, and worked on the family farm be fore going into the armed forces in World War II. He married Catherine Meldrum February 14th, 1944. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple with their children in 1957. He was a master meat cutter. He worked for different businesses prior to opening his own business "Charlies Meat Can't Be Beat" in Orem. He retired at age 73, but not really! - not until six weeks ago. He worked with the Utah County Search and Rescue for 30 years and organized the local Utah Deer Sams. He enjoyed camping, cooking, helping everyone, going to Canyon Lands, and being the best grandpa any kid could ever have. He loved to make ice cream for his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, his son Gaylen (Mary) Hardman, of Lindon; his daughter Charline (Phil) Reid of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, all siblings and grandson, Dusty Hardman. Isaacson, Betty Jean Pulham Betty Jean Pulham Isaacson 1928 ~ 2005 Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister returned to her Heavenly Father November 6, 2005, with her family by her side. She fought a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Born April 29, 1928 to Archibald and Essie Pulham in Costa Mesa, California. She was the sixth of seven children. Her childhood was spent in Glendale, CA. Her family moved to Orem when she was a young teenager, but she never outgrew her love of the ocean. Betty graduated from Lincoln High School. She married her high-school sweetheart, Leon Isaacson, May 24, 1946 in Orem. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Betty loved being with her husband, surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family camp-outs, parties and get-togethers were a treasured part of her life. She leaves a legacy of traditions, all centered around the family. She enjoyed spending the winter months in St. George with her husband and made many long-lasting friendships with other "snowbirds". Betty had a special love of San Diego, where she and Leon spent many memorable vacations, where she loved walking on the beach, listening to the surf, and gathering seashells. She was a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting, watercolors, china painting, and making porcelain dolls. She enjoyed sharing her talent with others as a teacher. She taught porcelain dolls, sewing lessons and many other hobbies to those around her.. She made many crocheted tablecloths, wedding dresses, quilts and blessing gowns, and entered them in the State Fair, where she won many blue ribbons and sweepstake awards. Many enjoyable hours where also spent quilting with her friends in St. George. Betty was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. Some of her callings included assignments in the Relief Society, Mutual (Young Women's), Cub Scouts, and Ward Girls Camp Director. Though she faced many trials during the last years of her life, her testimony never wavered. She faced her challenges with a prayer in her heart and a smile on her face. She is survived by her devoted husband, Leon Isaacson, four children, Mel (Sherrie) Isaacson of West Jordan, Dr. Ed (Marcia) Isaacson of Alpine, Patty (Rick) Robinson of West Jordan, and Judy (Dale) Ainge of Orem; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren with two additional great-grandchildren on the way; two brothers, Ken (Dona) Pulham and Reese (Marilyn) Pulham, both from Orem; brother-in-law Merlin (Carol) Isaacson; sisters-in-law Carole (Blaine) Cordner and Arlene (LeRoy) Watkins. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard and Charles Pulham; and sisters Faye Lunceford and Evelyn Frandsen. The family sincerely thanks the numerous doctors, nurses, neighbors and friends who have helped Betty in so many kind and generous ways. Jerrald M Jensen "Jerry" Our loving husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on November 4, 2005 in York, Pennsylvania. Jerry was born May 21, 1955 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Moyle and DeOn Jensen. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, he served an LDS mission to Independence Missouri from 1974 to 1976. He attended Snow College where he served as student body president. On May 16, 1980 he was sealed to Janet Embley in the Oakland LDS Temple. Jerry graduated from the University of Utah in 1985. He worked for many years in the produce business. He most recently worked for Eagle Eye Distributors as a produce dealer. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, especially being in the mountains with his family. He had a special love for music and enjoyed sharing his musical talents with others. Next to his love for his wife and family, his most rewarding opportunities came from serving the Lord. His greatest love was serving among the youth of the Church. He served as President of the Jordan Oaks Stake in West Jordan, Utah. At the time of his death, he was serving as the President of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania LDS Mission. In the short time he was allowed to serve, he developed a deep love for each missionary. Jerry is survived by his wife; children, Alexis (David) Geist, Andrew (Adrienne), Morgan (serving in the Lisbon, Portugal Mission), Nathan (17), Austin (15), Daniel and Caleb (9), Michael (5); grandchildren, Marcus and Gabriel; his father; sisters Janette Keysaw and Connie Brown; and brothers Kelly and Carl. Lewis, Gladys L. Giauque Gladys L. Giauque Lewis Beloved Sister and Aunt Gladys Lillian Giauque Lewis passed away November 5, 2005. Born Dec 4, 1913 in Salt Lake City, UT to James Arnold Giauque Sr. and Grace Lucille Harris. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Gladys attended LDS High School and West High School. She graduated from Heneger Business College where she won numerous awards for her shorthand and typing skills. She married Osborne F. Lewis Oct 9, 1936 in Reno, NV. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Denver, CO where they resided until 1974 when they returned to Salt Lake City. During the war years she traveled with Os while he was in the military. Gladys studied piano at the McCune School of Music and was an accompanist to many musical groups. She also played the piano and organ for many church services. She was very gifted in the needle arts. Knitting and needlepoint were two of her favorites. Her needle pointed footstools and hand knit baby shawls are treasured possessions of many family members. She had beautiful handwriting and was a prolific letter writer. Gladys corresponded with many friends and family over the years. She never missed a holiday, birthday or anniversary and wrote weekly to her many nephews who were serving missions around the world. Every missionary letter included a five dollar bill. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Os; brother, Kenneth Giauque; sister, Ellen Oakes; brother-in-law, Terry Oakes; and stepson, Bob Lewis. She is survived by her brother, James Giauque Jr (Dixie); sister, Lu-cille Thatcher (Winston); sister-in-law, Arlene Giauque. stepdaughter, Jean-ine Thomas (Ivan); stepdaughter-in-law, Ann Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. Littlefield, Lily Whitaker Lily Whitaker Littlefield 1911 ~ 2005 WEST VALLEY CITY - Lily Francis Warren Whitaker Littlefield, 93, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005 in Bluffdale, Utah. She was born December 27, 1911, in Lovell, Wyoming, a daughter of William Zenos and Sarah Ann Ames Warren. She attended schools in Lovell, Wyoming; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and in Montana. As a young girl, she worked at Barren Woolen Mills in Brigham City. Lily married John Edward Whitaker on April 27, 1931. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 14, 1972. They had three sons, Warren Edward, 'V' Robert, and Merrill Warren. John preceded her in death on August 4, 1982. In 1988, she married Franklin Littlefield. He passed away in 1995. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in different callings throughout the years. At the age of 68, she and her husband served a full time mission to the Texas Dallas Mission. Lily worked full time at the Naval Supply Depot and Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 1964. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, hunting, and horseback riding around the mountains by their cabin. She also loved to square dance, bowl and travel around in her trailer. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful afghans. She also loved crafts of any kind and always completed beautiful projects. Surviving are three sons, Warren Edward (Eleanor) Whitaker, Sunset; 'V' Robert (Jo Ann) Whitaker, West Valley City; Merrill Warren (Judy) Whitaker, Shingletown, CA; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grand-children and five great-great-grand-children. Also surviving are her sister and brother, Sylvia Goddard, Layton; and William (Trudy) Warren, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her husbands and one sister, Ila Burt. Macfarlane, Lewis Lewis Macfarlane 1918 ~ 2005 LAYTON - Lewis Macfarlane, devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all, was called home to his Heavenly Father Thursday, November 3, 2005. Lewis was born June 14, 1918 (Flag Day) in Cedar City, Utah to "Ras" and Lillian Higbee Macfarlane. He was the third of six children, Dean Macfarlane (Bountiful), Eva Mertlich (Oregon), twins, Clark Marcfarlane (Clearfield) and Clair Macfarlane (Deceased), and Mary MacDonald (Cedar City). He met and later married his devoted sweetheart, Reva Frazer, August 1, 1938. They were later sealed for time and eternity August 25, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. A daughter, Sandra, was born to them October 17, 1941; and son, Sherm, April 1, 1952. Lewis joined the United States Navy with the out-break of World War II and was assigned to the South Pacific and stationed in Hawaii. Upon his discharge from the Navy the family moved to Salt Lake City. He worked at the Naval Supply Depot. They moved to Layton in 1948. He was transferred to Hill AFB and worked as an equipment allowance specialist. He retired with 35 years of service. Lewis loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and had a wonderful personal testimony of his Savior. His church callings included Bishop, High Priest Group Leader, stake missionary, and temple worker to name a few. He was always a spiritual man who taught his children to pray, have faith, and above all, love their Heavenly Father. He served as Kiwanis president for two years. He loved to tell jokes and have fun. He loved singing and performing with the Beehive Statesman, and was awarded "Barbershopper of the Year" in 1998 for his work in developing quartet singing in area high schools. He loved hunting and fishing in the great outdoors and had a great respect for all God's creatures. He had a great love for children and horses and had a gentleness that allowed him to ride the "Tuffest" and tame the "Wildest." Lewis is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Reva; his daughter, Sandra M. Bodily; son, Sherman (Luane) Macfarlane; eight grandchildren, Kyle (Paula) Bodily, Bryan (Lynda) Bodily, Chris (Carrie) Bodily, Annette (Jeff) Stephens, Brook (Tyson) Blackner, Alisa (Dennis) Livingston, Ashley (Daniel) Beynon, Bra-den (Cassie) Macfarlane; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mika, 56, passed away Nov. 6, 2005 in Sandy, Utah. He was born Sept. 7, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to Martin and Mildred Conish Mika. Married Vicki Thornton in Lake Tahoe, NV on Aug. 28, 1989. He was an avid golfer, and a dedicated husband, father and grandpa. He will be deeply missed. Dean was born December 19, 1920 at the family home in Layton to James H. Morgan and Alice Walker Morgan. He married Helen Robinson Feb. 4, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and faithful friend. Dean spent his life farming and ranching in Davis and Morgan counties. He was active in the LDS Church and in the community. He served as Elder's Quorum President and was on the town council and Jaycees. Dean in survived by his children: Sheryl Cunningham (Dave), Layton; James A. Morgan (Judy), Layton; Ann Manley (Alan), Orem; LeNora (Weaver) Fred, Fort Collins, CO; Joseph R. Morgan (Debbie), Layton; and Michael D. Morgan (Dana) Stoddard. He is also survived by his sisters; Beth Sandall, Layton; Leah cooper, Layton; Aleene Barkdull, Farmington; Faye Adams (Otis), Layton; and Judy Stevens (DelMar), Layton. He had 29 grandchildren, 69 great-grand children and four great-great-grandchildren. To date the total family of Dean and Helen number 138. Murphy, age 65, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father Nov. 5, 2005 due to heart failure. She is the daughter of Lehi A. and Mary Ella Statham Keppner. Born the 12th of February 1940 in Hibbard, Idaho and raised in Rexburg, Idaho along with her brother and seven sisters. Married Donald M. Murphy March 22, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and raised her family in the Cottonwood area. An active member of the LDS Church, Lyn loved working in the Young Women's program. Lyn is survived by her husband; her children (the love of her life), Paul, Debra (Scott) Elmer, Holly (Kevin) Aldrich, and Patrick; her five grandchildren, Braedon, Sierra, Madysen, Jayda, and Taegon; her brother, Karl (Betty) Keppner; her sisters, Dorla (Mel) England, Mona Jensen, Lucille Johnson, Genevieve Smith, Billie (James) Thompson, and Jean Cook. He was born April 3, 1920 in Burley, Idaho to Julian and Marcelina Ogas Ontiveros. He married Edith Valdez on January 27, 1940. He was in car sales for 50 years. He is survived by three sons, Larry (Carmen), Ron, and Rusty. Six grandchildren, and their families, special care giver, and companion, Julie, two brothers, Andy and James, and two sisters, Tillie and Gloria. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith and five siblings. The family would like to extend specail thanks to Andy and Julie for all of their love, kindness, and care given to Manuel during the last 17 difficult months and to John Atkin for his support. Orman, John Abraham Van John Abraham Van Orman 1913 ~ 2005 John Abraham Van Orman, 92, died peacefully at home in Provo, Utah on November 2, 2005. He followed his wife of 70 years, Eva Christensen Van Orman, six weeks after her death. "John A" was born in Montpelier, Idaho on April 15, 1913, the third of four children of John Van Orman and Dorothea Welker. He was also preceded in death by his siblings and two sons, Robert and Chresten. He will be lovingly remembered by daughter Ellen Hutt (Larry) and sons Jan (Margot) and Greg (Mickey), and his 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. John had exceptional artistic talent and overcame amazing odds to become a prominent commercial artist. He moved to New York City when he was 19 and within a few years became the youngest art director in New York. He married Eva Christensen on September 26, 1935; they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. In 1954, John followed the movie industry to Southern California, where he raised his family. He worked with each of the major motion picture studios and was the art director at Universal Studios for most of his career. In 1975, John and Eva moved to St. George, Utah and spent their summers at Bear Lake, Idaho. They loved the mountains of the West and the beauty of nature. John's favorite times were returning to Idaho to walk the mountains he walked as a youth. John had an abiding faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ and was strongly loyal to his family. He served as a bishop in Encino, California and throughout his remaining life heard from those whose lives he had touched. He was a quiet, dignified and respectful man who was reluctant to impose upon others. The son of a blacksmith and elementary school teacher, he was self-taught and fiercely independent. He provided well for his family and left an inspiring example of achievement and hard work. He was honored in a family gathering on November 7, 2005 and buried in the Provo City Cemetery. He will truly be missed. He was a friend to all and could usually find someone that he knew where ever he traveled. Born July 30, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Harry and Agnes Hudson Smith. Married Rose Cordova in 1942; later divorced. Married Karma Peterson in 1953; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He was active in the LDS Church. He loved his family, friends and country! He served with honor and pride in the US Army during World War II. Survived by wife, Karma; children: Duane (Suzanne) Rogers, Tawnya (Garth) Luke, Brad (Cyndy) Smith, Dan (Charlotte) Smith, Blaine Smith, Scott (Katia) Smith, Paul (Dixie) Smith; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Tomany, Brigham Var Selle Brigham Var Selle Tomany "Brigg" OGDEN - Our little "Briggers" passed away peacefully at home in his mother's arms Sunday morning, November 6, 2005. Brigg was born May 4, 2005 in Ogden, Utah, to loving parents Mick and Kathryn Tomany and welcomed into their home by big sister Abby and big brother Cade. He arrived right on time with a beautiful smile, bright, shining angel eyes and the sweetest disposition. At two months of age, Brigg was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). This disease took a toll on his body, but never his spirit. He lived each day to the fullest and touched the lives of everyone he met. After celebrating his one-half birthday and fulfilling his mission here on earth, he was welcomed home by his Grandpa Var Selle Weaver. He leaves behind his family, his grandparents, Michael and Margaret Tomany and Janice Weaver, and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who have been with us every step of the way. Ure, Geraldine Geraldine Ure 1929 ~ 2005 Geraldine Greer Ure, 76, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gerry was born on January 4, 1929 in Heber City, Utah to Carl and Leda Greer. She graduated from Wasatch High and attended the University of Utah, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. On March 17, 1950 she married the love of her life, Fred W. Ure, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was active in the Junior League and a member of the LDS Church. Gerry worked for the University of Utah Special Education Department for many years where she created many special friends. Traveling was very important to Gerry. She has traveled on many cruises to different locations and many special Club Med locations. Gerry loved to shop! She was always looking for a bargain. Her favorite hobby was entertaining her family and friends. She was a perfect hostess. She has accumulated hundreds of photo albums of those occasions. Gerry had a special gift; she was loved by everyone who knew her. So many people have lost their best friend, and we will forever miss her. Gerry is preceded in death by her parents and son Scott. She is survived by her brother Jimmy Greer (Marie), husband Fred and children Stephen Ure (Kathy), Steffenie Peterson, Stan Ure and Sally Wilde (George), 11 grandchildren and six great-grand-children. Wilson, Mark Ronald Mark Ronald Wilson 1987 ~ 2005 MAYFIELD, UTAH- Mark Ronald Wilson, 18, of Mayfield, Utah, passed away November 5, 2005, due to a work related accident. He was born June 15, 1987, in Salt Lake City, to the late Ronald and Catherine Healey Wilson. Mark was a very loving young man and enjoyed life. He was currently a senior at Gunnison Valley High School where he was a member of the High School wrestling team. He loved taking his nephew out for a ride on the four-wheeler and just being outdoors. Mark also enjoyed cruising around Sanpete County in his new red truck and loved his family and enjoyed being with them.
