They spent 67 wonderful years together raising six children, 35 grandchildren, and 73 great-grandchildren. As a loving father he was an extraordinary patriarch to his family. His greatest concerns were always for the welfare of his family. He continually provided counsel, direction and advice to his posterity. Family activities were always the highlight of his life. Supporting family parties, school activities, and family reunions created the greatest of memories for Wayne and for his children. Wayne was a talented and successful businessman having retired after 42 years with the JC Penney Company as a Store and a Group Manager. His children and grandchildren will remember his strong testimony and his love for the Savior. His legacy of hard work, achievements, and faithful service lives on in the hearts of his posterity. Children and grandchildren recognize the value of Wayne's counsel and are striving to honor his example. He was kind, patient, and always had an understanding heart. He loved to travel and had a lot of friends and was often a tease. He kept his sense of humor and wit until the very end. He appreciated the care given by his medical staff and was found giving them financial advice until he could no longer talk. Fulton, Chance Tyler Chance Tyler Fulton 2002 ~ 2005 Chance Tyler Fulton blessed our family with his birth on Nov. 15, 2002. He departed this life on Oct. 19, 2005 after suffering in-tractable seizures since Sept. 26th. Although his life on earth was short, his influence is forever reaching. His death leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of his loving mother, Megan Wirthlin Cole, and his father, Tyler Kay Fulton. Our "almost" 3 year old was looking forward to celebrating his birthday. He loved superheroes, especially Spiderman, and wished he could be one. Chance proved himself these last 3 weeks with his superhuman strength and bravery ...he is truly a hero in our eyes. Chance loved to listen to music and to dance. He was his mommy's sweetheart, but his bright smile, beautiful blue eyes, and engaging personality made him everybody's baby. He enjoyed going to nursery at church and he loved to play with his cousins, who were his best friends. Chance found joy in all things, including throwing any ball around and watching his uncles compete in their sports. He liked to help his Grandpa Mike mow the lawn and hear his grandma sing. His grandma and grandpa just took him on his first camping trip, and he also got to visit his Grandpa Cole in San Diego, where he relished playing on the beach. He loved to ride on the bus and on the back of his mom's wheelchair. Chance was a strong-willed, stubborn little boy who made us laugh with his antics and smile at his joyful spirit. Now we mourn the absence of his little feet running, jumping and dancing. He never did anything half-way or half-speed. Chance is lucky to have a large family who loves and adores him. He is survived by his angel mother, Megan, his father Tyler, and his half-brother Dylan Fulton. His grandparents are Mike and Madeline Stover of Salt Lake City; Stan Cole (and Ruff Yeager) of San Diego, CA; Sherri Fulton of Holladay, and Lynn Fulton of Marble, NC. His aunts and uncles are Lauren (and Chad) Loutzenhiser; Cheristy (and Justin) Monson; Lisa (and Ryan) Harper; Stephanie (and Dave) Sitze; Heather Cole; Erin (and Slade) Battermann; Clint Stover; Matt (and Ashley) Cole; Lindsey (and Chad) Crafts; Jake (and Tori) Stover; Elder David Cole, who is serving the last month of his two year mission in Rosario, Argentina; Geoffrey Yeager; Cody Fulton; and Lacy Fulton. His much loved cousins are Joshua, McKenna, Nathan, Andrew, Asher, Tayden, Olivia, Emma, Abi, Coleman, Chaim, and Evan. His maternal great-grandparents are Elwin and Joan Cole, Elder Joseph B. and Elisa Wirthlin, and Bert and Dorothy Lacey. His paternal great-grandmothers are Elaine Butterfield and Catherine Miller. Chance also leaves behind many other loved ones and friends. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Primary Children's Medical Center, especially the fantastic doctors and nurses who cared for Chance. Chance, until we see you again, you will live in our hearts and memories, and our happy thoughts. May you rest in the arms of Jesus.
