Aagard, Wesley J.
Wesley J. Aagard 1915 ~ 2005 Wesley J. Aagard, age 89, of Salt Lake City,
Utah, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 in Sandy, Utah.
Wesley was born May 31, 1915 in Fountain Green, Utah to John and Mary Ellen
(Ostler) Aagard. He married Voneal Anderson on September 14, 1937 in the Manti
LDS Temple. First and foremost, Wesley was a sheepman; as was his father and
his father before him. He often said he could not have had a better life. For
him, ranching WAS his life. Wesley was past-president of the Woolgrower's
Association where he received the Lifetime Sheepman award. He was well known
among his friends and family for his quick wit and humor. Wesley is survived
by his children: Carolyn (Gary) Gottfredson, Martha (Don) Sutherland, Alice
(Michael) Garcia; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; twin
brother, Welby Aagard; sister, Kenna Rassmussen. He was preceded in death by
his parents; wife, Voneal; son, Wesley Gene Aagard; infant daughter, Mary Lou
Aagard; brothers, Burnell, John, Vance; sisters, Lapreal, Hazel, Laurel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan 29, 2005, at 12:00 noon at the
Fountain Green LDS Ward, 151 South 200 West, where friends may call from 11:00
a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment: Fountain Green City
Cemetery. His daughters wish to thank Beehive Gardens at Willow Creek for all
their love and care.

Bailey, Patrick F.
Patrick F. Bailey 1953 ~ 2005 PRICE- Patrick Franklin Bailey, age 51, passed
away January 24, 2005 while doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. Born
November 24, 1953 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Lee and Katherine Ann
Mahon Bailey. Married Betty Jean Stevens, February 12, 1982 in Myers,
California. Patrick was an active member of the Free and Accepted Masons of
Utah where he was a member and Past Master of Orient Lodge No. 15 of Green
River, currently serving as secretary. Member Joppa Lodge No. 26 of Price.
Member of York Rite Freemasonry where he was Past High Priest of Price Chapter
# 6 Royal Arch Masons, Past Illustrious Master of Solomon Council # 4 Royal
and Select Masters and Past Commander of Charles Fred Jennings Commandery # 6
all of Price. Member and Past Grand Commander of the Knights Templar of Utah
2002-2003, Illustrious Grand Master of The Cryptic Masons, Grand Scribe of
Royal Arch Masons of Utah, Bonneville Conclave, Knights of The Red Cross of
Constantine, Knights of the York Cross of Honor, PETRA Tabernacle, Past Thrice
Illustrious Master of the Order of the Silver Trowel, and Past Commanders
Association of Utah. Member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Orient of
Utah, where he was a 32nd Degree Mason and honored as a Knight Commander of
the Court of Honor. Member El Kalah Temple, Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of
the Mystic Shrine, Royal Order of Jesters, Past Preeminent Governor of Camp
Floyd York Rite College of Utah and Grand Governor of Utah for the Grand
Sovereign College of North America. Patrick owned and operated Bailey's
Gunsmithing, where he enjoyed shooting and building custom rifles and pistols.
He loved his Harleys, attending bike rallies and riding with his family and
friends. He was ready to ride at a moments notice, regardless what needed to
be done. Patrick was presently employed with Etzel Realty, where he was
serving as a director on the Carbon/Emery Board of Realtors and was honored as
Past Rookie of the Year. He received his GRI and CRS designations and was
working on his Associate Broker License. His carefree personality, smile and
ability to make people laugh will be cherished in hearts forever. His special
bond with his son Sean, was more than father and son, they were best friends.

Jean Bailey, son and best friend, Sean R. Bailey, both of Price; and a
community of friends who are his family. He was preceded in death by his

Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main Street in Price. Family will be at
Mitchell's Friday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to

Becker, Edna Irene
Edna Irene Becker 1923 ~ 2005 Edna Irene Becker was born on May 27, 1923 in
Milan, Missouri to Curtis Beverly and Elfie Josephine Hollon. Irene was the
eldest of three children. She married Harold Alexander Becker on December 3,
1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Marriage later solemnized in the LDS Logan Temple
on June 13, 1963. They had two children, Alexis DeeNise Becker James and James
Brian Becker. Mom was always very artistic and enjoyed oil painting. She was
an accomplished seamstress and shared her talents in homemaking, gardening,
and farming with others. Her husband's death 10 years ago left a difficult
void, but we know there is a joyful reunion in heaven. Irene was a faithful
member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many
callings. She is survived by her children DeeNise (Brent) James and James
(Julie) Becker, her 12 beloved grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Her
sense of humor and funny mannerisms will be missed by those with which she
shared her life. The family appreciates the service given to Mom over the last
years of her life by many friends and neighbors. Funeral services Friday,
January 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 10830 S. 3200 W.,

Black, Afton May Mines
Afton May Mines Black "Beloved" Our beloved mother, grandmother, GG and friend
left this mortal existence surrounded by her family January 22, 2005 due to
natural causes. Born to Rosella May Phelps and Leland Clyde Mines July 1,
1920. Married Woodrow W Black in Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 3, 1941. She is
preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one grandchild and one
great-grandchild. She is survived by her six children, Kenneth (Debbie)
Murray; Roger (Kathy) West Jordan; David (Eunice) Holladay; Sharlet Malinsky
(Bob) Salt Lake; Joseph (Kathy) West Valley; Shirley Oberg (Mark) Murray; her
sisters Ila Nelson, Joyce Welch, 31 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
She lived a life of service to her family, church and community. She was an
active Latter-day Saint serving in many callings. She served a mission in her
senior years to Louisville, KY. She was a true and dear friend to all who knew
her. A 100% day for her was hearing from all six of her children and being of
service to others. The family thanks the nurses of Community Nursing Hospice
care. Funeral Services will be held at Belview Ward 6300 S. 300 East, Murray,
Friday Jan. 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held Thursday, Jan. 27,
2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S State St.,

Bowen, Brooke
Brooke Bowen 1976 ~ 2005 Brooke Bowen, 28, tragically passed away on January
22, 2005. She was born on June 27, 1976 in Salt Lake City. She later lived in
Fair Oaks, CA, and Palmdale, CA where she graduated from Highland High School.
In her youth, she was a varsity soccer player, a talented creative writer and
excelled in academics. Following graduation she moved to Las Vegas, NV to
pursue her secondary education, married Cain and had two beautiful daughters.
Before her untimely death she continued her love of creative writing,
developed a passion for interior design and real estate development; but her
greatest joy was in raising her little girls. She is survived by her husband,
Joaquin (Cain) Archuleta, her sweet daughters, Chloe' (7), and Alexa (4),
mother, Mary Stringham Barnes (David) of Salt Lake City, Utah, father and
step-mother, Dr. and Mrs. Larry W. Bowen (Diana Farr) of Granite Bay, CA,
sister, Bryn Bowen and brothers, Benjamin Bowen and Bradley Bowen, sister
Brittany Barnes, Jennifer Hess Campos (Frank), Lindsay Hess Winkler (Robert),
and brothers, Spencer Hess (Heather Green) and Michael Hess. She will also be
greatly missed by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Stringham (Mabel),
Mary Benson Bowen of Salt Lake City, and by her husband's grandmother,
Margaret Archuleta, mother, Rene' Archuleta, and sister, Nichole Archuleta.
She has a large and loving extended family consisting of four nieces, three
nephews, 10 aunts, six uncles, 62 cousins and many friends including her best
friends, Autumn Wood (Corey) of Palmdale, CA and her brother, Ben. Friends and
family are invited to the visitation held at the Palm Mortuary, 7400 W.
Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV on January 26, 2005, 6-8 p.m. Funeral services
will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Lone Mountain
Stake Center, 10070 Azure, Las Vegas, NV, Thursday, January 27, 1:00 p.m.,
with visitation 11:30 a.m. -12:45 p.m., prior to services. Interment at Palm

Cahoon, Patricia Roberts
Patricia Roberts Cahoon Our Joy Patricia Doctor Roberts Cahoon, beloved wife,
mother and grandmother, was blessedly released from a long and patient battle
with Alzheimer's Disease on Tuesday, January 25, 2005. Patricia was born
October 14, 1930 in Scandia, Kansas to Paul Sanger and Ruth Albro Doctor. She
married Keith Bunot Roberts, D.D.S., in 1948 and together they had six
wonderful children who honor and adore her. Keith passed away in 1972. She met
and married Lysle R. Cahoon in 1989; they savored their time together,
traveling worldwide, serving an LDS temple mission in Sydney, Australia, and
lovingly caring for each other. He was her rock; she was his joy. Our Mother
was many things: she was creative, articulate, witty, compassionate, and an
accomplished artist and homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was her family,
and her legacy to us is love. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband
Lysle R.Cahoon and his dear family; her children, Melinda (Ken) Zabriskie, Kim
(Sheryl) Roberts, Jaime (Coby) Roberts-Jones, Jana (Bruce) Roberts Benzon,
Lindsey Roberts, Juliane Roberts Burton; twenty-two grandchildren whom she
adored; and her sister Paula (Elwood) Werry. She was preceded in death by her
parents and husband, Keith Bunot Roberts. Funeral services will be held at
12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2005, at the LDS 18th Ward, 135 North 'A'
Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. No visitation prior to services. Grave
dedication and interment will take place in Seattle, Washington at Acacia
Mausoleum, 13301 Lake City Way NE, on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.

Chambers, Marie Goldie Losee
Marie Goldie Losee Chambers 1942 ~2005 Marie Goldie Losee Chambers, age 62,
passed away January 25, 2005 in West Valley City, Utah. Marie was born May 26,
1942 to Abraham Losee and Goldie Shaw Losee. She graduated from Cyprus High
and attended the University of Utah. She married Laurence T. Chambers on May
22, 1964 in Salt Lake City; they later divorced. Marie enjoyed bowling,
outdoors, crocheting, chocolate dipping, softball, basketball and she
completed the St. George Marathon twice. She was active in the LDS Church,
currently serving as the secretary in the Relief Society. Marie was a
dedicated employee of First Security Bank for over 20 years. She enjoyed
spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her two cats, Scooter and
Casper. Marie is survived by her daughters, Diane (Bob) Johnson and Cori
(Corby) Eccles; sons, Paul (Suzane) Chambers and Jim (Jill) Chambers; sister,
Marge (Jay) Thornock; brother, Lyman (Carolyn) Losee and 13 grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, step father,
Andrew Ivan Andreason; grandparents, brothers, Ray, Lou, Dale and Merle
Andreason and sister, Helen Letteer. Funeral Services will be held Saturday,
Jan. 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Kearns 10th Ward Chapel, 5025 W. 4865 S. The
family will receive friends at a visitation Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at
Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S., and from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Cram, Zua Neff
Zua Neff Cram 1912 ~ 2005 Zua Neff Cram passed away Friday, January 21, 2005
in Salt Lake City. Born May 19, 1912 in Salt Lake City to Samuel Neff and Zua
Brinton Neff. She graduated from LDS College and the University of Utah. She
was a Captain in the Women's Marine Corps and was stationed in various places
in the southeastern parts of the U.S. After her service in the Marine Corps
she returned to the Los Angeles area where she went to school at UCLA and
received her teaching credentials. She lived in Diamond Bar, Calif. for many
years and taught elementary grades in that area. She lived on Okinawa and
taught school for the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958. She traveled
extensively in the Orient from Okinawa; she traveled by ship to South and
Central America, around The Horn and thru the Panama Canal; and traveled
extensively in Europe. After her retirement from teaching she lived in Diamond
Bar until 1988 when she returned to Salt Lake City to live. She kept active by
playing golf, bridge, knitting, gardening, reading and she enjoyed the ballet
and opera, and stage performances at Pioneer Theatre. She was married to
Colonel Jack Cram for several years before they were divorced. She is survived
by her brother, Lawrence B. Neff, her sister, Kathryn Neff, sister-in-law,
Alice W. Neff (Thomas) all of Salt Lake City. She is preceded in death by her
parents, brothers, Samuel (Louise), David (Vivien), Thomas (Alice), Branson
(Evelyn), Stephen (Mildred) and Grant (Beverlie), and by numerous nieces and
nephews and their children. At her request no service will be held.

Ferguson, Evelyn Marie
Evelyn Marie Ferguson "Together Forever" Evelyn M. Ferguson, born January 30,
1922 passed away peacefully in her sleep January 20, 2005 at the age of 82.
Preceded in death by her parents Otis Dewey and Myrtle Marie Buckwell Chapman,
husband Col. Donald D. Ferguson and survived by her brothers Lynn O. and
Ronald D. Chapman, sister-in-law Nan F. Chapman, daughters, Janice M. Nicolosi
and Marjorie R. Lehr, sons-in-law Lester E. Lehr and William J. Nicolosi II,
grandchildren Marie L. Lanka and William J. Nicolosi III, and Michelle C. and
David A. Sutera. Evelyn was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, moved to San
Francisco, California in 1936 and worked as a legal secretary for Schwabacher
and Fry. She and Donald were married October 25, 1941, moved to Sacramento in
1959 where she was a homemaker, enjoying reading, sewing and gardening. She
also volunteered with the Sacramento Youth Band from 1964 to 1973, sewing
costumes for the color guard and hosting their competitions. Graveside
services will be held Sat., Jan. 29, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. in the Salt Lake City
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple,
Saturday 10-11:00 a.m. A viewing was held earlier in Sacramento, CA. In lieu

Marvin H. Florence 11/30/24 ~ 1/ 22/05 Marvin H. "Muggs" Florence was laid to
rest next to his beloved wife, our mother, on Jan. 25th following a small
family viewing. "We will miss them always."

Garcia, Margaret
Margaret Garcia 6/10/1925 ~ 1/23/2005 It was early Sunday morning, surrounded
by her family that our ever so loving mom, Margaret Garcia, passed away
peacefully in her home at the age of 79. Her life began in the peaceful hills
of Grand Junction, CO. At the age of 17, she made a permanent move to Salt
Lake City, UT, where she remained and created a rich and wonderful life full
of family and friends. Mom taught us all how to love one another because she
had an unconditional love for every single one of us. Her love kept our family
bonded through ups and downs. She saw the good in people. Her sensitivity and
understanding will never be forgotten. The advice she gave continually
reminded us how important we were to her. She knew through wisdom and
experience then told all who asked what life has to offer. Her contagious
sense of humor and her love for laughter will be the dull ache we feel most in
our hearts, because she made us all feel better about life with her presence.
She passed gracefully knowing her life was complete. This world is one less a
beautiful person without her. Her smile will remain forever in our hearts. She
will be greatly missed by all who knew her for mom was genuine. Mom was loved.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years Frederico Garcia; her six sons,
Benny and Larry Manzanares, Dennis, Ruben, Fabian and Lester Martinez; her
four daughters, Lucille Grover, Virginia Boyle, Betty Getter, Robin Duarte; 32
grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her
husbands Joe Manzanares, and Luis Martinez; her son Bobby; mother Maria Lopez;
father Seferino Lopez and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
Saturday, January 29th 11 a.m. at Centro de Vida Cristiana, 1055 N. Redwood
Rd. Followed by interment at Valley View Cemetery, 4391 W. 4100 S. Viewing
will be held Friday, January 28th from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330
S. Redwood Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. The
family would like to thank Dr. Margaret Hecht, Leslie Boehme, Carol Chart and
the rest of the nursing staff that cared for our mom.

Haedt, La Von R.
La Von R Haedt 1912 ~ 2005 La Von R Haedt, age 92, passed away January 20,
2005 with her husband at her side. She was born April 22, 1912 to J. Earl and
Minnie Rytting. She grew up in the Liberty Park area of Salt Lake and
graduated from East High School. She worked as an executive secretary at
Ingersoll Rand company until her marriage to Robert V Haedt Jr June 20, 1942.
Their never faltering love flourished for almost 63 years. She kept and
cherished a love letter to her, dated May 1, 1942, which said, in part, "All I
can say is that I love you- over and over- a thousand times or more- for that
is what really matters." They met as members of the Wasatch Mountain Club as
novice skiers and both shared the love of the mountains and skiing prompting a
move to Park City in 1983. In 1965 she started a gift store, La Boutique which
later became GREAT GARB which she ran, with her son Bob, in Salt Lake and Park
City until a stroke forced her to retire late 1999. She was always active;
skiing, tennis, golf, and entertaining. Her recipes were always in demand.
They loved to travel evident by the 15 cruises they took to the Tropics,
Europe, and South America. Two brothers, Edward and Robert; and a sister,
June, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband; sons, Robert and
David; grandchildren, Olivia and MacKay; and brother, William Rytting; nieces
and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Christus St. Joseph
Villa for their loving care during her last few months. A memorial service in
her honor will be held at the Park City Community Church, 4501 No. Highway
224, Park City Saturday, January 29, at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations,
in La Von's name, can be made to the Charity Care Fund, Christus St Joseph
Villa, 451 Bishop Federal Lane, Salt Lake City, UT 84115.

Barta Ann Jones Haslam 1918 ~ 2005 Barta Ann Jones Haslam, 86, died Jan. 23,
2005 at her home in San Diego, CA. She was born Feb. 12, 1918 in Lehi, Utah
the daughter of David and Sevilla Clark Jones. She married Glen Haslam who
preceded her in death in 1972. She is survived by three sons and two
daughters, Donald (Susan) Haslam, Upland, CA; Mark (Kathy) Haslam, San Diego,
CA; Phillip (Laurie) Haslam, Carlsbad, CA; Barbara (Milton) Brinton, WA; Luann
(Victor) Sandoval, Pasadena, CA; a sister, Ora (Barry) Ride, Bountiful; 25
grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children. Funeral services will be Saturday,
Jan. 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi,
where family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi
City Cemetery.

Howe, Ruth
Ruth C. Howe 100-Years-Old Ruth Howe, formerly of Paw Paw, MI and West
Carrolton, OH, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005 at LakeView Continuing
Care Center, Lawton. Ruth was born July 23, 1904 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the
daughter of David A. and Martha A. (Picknell) Coombs. She has been a resident
of Paw Paw and Lawton since 1977. On June 27, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah,
Ruth was united in marriage to Melvin O. Howe who preceded her in death on May
15, 1975. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas (Flo Friender) Howe of Portage and Delman D.
(Beverly) Howe of Lompoc, CA; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 3-4 p.m. at the
Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m.
Interment will be in Crestview Gardens at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford,

Jensen, MaryAnn
MaryAnn Jensen 1951 ~ 2005 Our loving sister, aunt and friend, MaryAnn Jensen,
age 53, passed away at home on January 26, 2005. Born November 7, 1951 in Salt
Lake City, Utah, a twin daughter of Melvin and Della Mae Chambers Jensen.
MaryAnn loved her family and was especially close to her twin sister, JoAnn.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her sisters: Denise (Dave) Naylor and JoAnn Jensen; niece,
Heather Naylor; nephew Travis (Jessica ) Naylor; two great nieces, Akaylea and
Aspen; special friend Sherrie Hubner, and many other friends who loved her
dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Darrell Glen
Jensen. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.
at the Spanish Fork Cemetery, 400 S. 400 E., Spanish Fork, UT. Arrangements
under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.

Robert E. Jones, M.D. 1922 ~ 2005 Robert E. Jones, M.D., prominent Salt Lake
City physician, died January 21, 2005 of causes related to cancer. He was born
October 11, 1922 in Hiawatha, Utah to William Bell and Sylvia Alta Jones. The
absence of his dry wit and contagious laughter creates a void no other can
fill. Bob graduated from Carbon High School in 1939 and from the University of
Utah in 1943. Although offered a scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music,
Bob instead chose to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Jack, and
received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School
in 1946. During medical school, Bob joined the U.S. Army and following
graduation served as an army doctor at Valley Forge General Hospital, from
1948 to 1949. He decided against an army career when he discovered argyle
socks were not standard issue. Following completion of his internship at
Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and a residency at Delaware Hospital in
Wilmington, Delaware, Bob returned to Salt Lake City in 1952 to begin private
practice. He practiced internal medicine more than 42 years and was affiliated
with Salt Lake Regional Medical Center (formerly Holy Cross Hospital). Bob
enjoyed traveling, tending his beautiful flower gardens, collecting and
creating works of art (he especially enjoyed working with stained glass), Jazz
basketball, and professional tennis. Above all, however, he enjoyed practicing
medicine. Helping the sick was never considered work - it was his privilege.
Bob was the embodiment of a dedicated, selfless, caring generation of
physicians. The lives he saved are many; the lives he touched immeasurable.
Bob is survived by his sister-in-law, Sarah Anne Jones; nieces, Linda Oswald
(Fred), Cynthia Jones, M.D. (Steve Prather, M.D.); nephew, David Jones; his
devoted friend and long-time assistant, Sandra McDonald; and loving friend and
companion, Dorothy Woolf. Preceded in death by his parents; and brothers,
Frank Jones, who died in infancy, and William Jack Jones, M.D. Sincere
gratitude is offered to Bob's wonderful neighbors and friends, to the hospice
nurses and to Margaret Hecht, M.D., for their generous gifts of love, care and
support. Bob will be deeply missed by family, colleagues, friends, and former
patients. All who loved him are invited to a celebration of this remarkable
man's life, followed by a luncheon Sunday, January 30, 2005, 12 noon at the

King, Dale Pace
Dale Pace King 1929 ~ 2005 TEASDALE, Utah - Dale Pace King, 75, of Torrey,
passed away from a massive cerebral hemorrhage Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 in
Richfield, Utah. He was born in Provo, Utah on April 17, 1929, a son of Hugh
Volney and Fern Pace King. He grew up in Teasdale, Utah and graduated from
Wayne High School. He graduated from Utah State University and was
commissioned in the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He
married Sara Jean Cook, June 26, 1955 in Sacramento, California. Dale taught
school for three years, then became Director of Education for the US Army,
Department of Defense, for 35 years. Dale retired in December of 1987 to live
in Torrey, Utah. Dale is survived by his wife of Torrey; daughter: Sandra Dale
and James Jaworski, two grandchildren: Pace L. Jaworski and Shara J. Jaworski,
all of Arvada, Colorado; brother and sister: Jack King, Bicknell; Shirley
Hanscom Lyman; sister-in-law: Jackie S. King of Orem. Preceded in death by his
parents, Hugh V. and Fern P. King, and a brother, James E. King. Memorial
services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. in the Teasdale
LDS Ward Cultural Hall, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning

Magario, Robert Angelo "Bob"
Robert "Bob" Angelo Magario 1928 ~ 2005 Bob Magario loving husband, father,
and grandfather passed away at home surrounded by his family on January 25th,
2005. He was born September 28, 1928 in Christopher, Illinois to Martin
Magario and Elizabeth Querio who emigrated from Torino, Italy. Bob, the
youngest of four brothers served in the United States Marine Corps during
World War II. He graduated from California College of Arts and Crafts in
Berkley, California where he met and married his college sweetheart Louise
Adelle Hardwick in 1952. Bob moved his one, big, happy, crazy, Italian family
to Salt Lake City in 1970. He was an avid golfer; Willow Creek Golf Champ 1975
and 1977, fisherman, and stamp collector. Bob is survived by his wife of 52
years Louise, his five children; Martin (Marisa) Magario, Shelly (Paul)
Brockbank, Chris (Diane) Magario, Beth (Kevan) Haddock, Jenny (Rich) Grosh,
and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 29th
at Mountain View Memorial 3115 East 7800 South at 2:00 p.m. The family would
like to thank Dr. Nibley and his staff, Dr. Zenger, and Hearts for Hospice for
their exceptional care the last few years.

McCray, Harry Frank
Harry Frank McCray 1919 ~ 2005 Harry Frank McCray, 85, passed away on January
25, 2005 in Salt Lake City. He was born March 6, 1919 to Joe and Dorothea
Keeler McCray in Clinton, Iowa. He attended Lyon and Clinton schools. During
World War II he served in the US Army. While being a city policeman and
plainclothes detective, he also had his own electrical business for 20 years.
In 1954 Harry received the governor's award for bravery for the rescue of
three boys from the icy waters of the Mississippi River. He retired from the
police force after 26 years. Harry was a deacon at the First Presbyterian
Church in Clinton. He served as a Past Grand Councilor of Iowa for the United
Commercial Travelers. He is survived by his wife, Florrene McCray, three
children, Sharon McCray of Florida, Larry Joe McCray of Denver, Paula (Larry)
Manikowski of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, two great-grand daughters,
and two sisters, Vivian Jones of Clinton and Darlene Lutz. Interment services
at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Camanche, Iowa at a later date. In lieu of
flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to a charity of
choice. Harry is now with his loveable dog, Muffy.

Meik, Kathryn Joy Gerstner
Kathryn Joy Gerstner Meik 1913 ~ 2005 Kathryn Joy Gerstner Meik, beloved wife,
mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on January 23, 2005, at the age
of 91. She was born on June 24, 1913, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John J.
Gerstner and Zina May Brown Gerstner. Kay graduated from LDS High School at
the age of 16. She was of pioneer ancestry and was an active member of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Primary and Relief
Society programs throughout her life. Her greatest joy was caring for her
family and her home. She was married on August 21, 1935, to James Patrick
Meik, Jr. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kay is survived by her three sons, Ray
(Sharon), Jerry (Kathy), Richard (Suzanne); daughter Kathy (Reed) Cardoza; 11
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is dearly loved and will be
sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one
brother, nine sisters, and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held on
Friday January 28, 2005 at Noon at the Winder 7th Ward Chapel, 4350 So. 1100
East. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday January
27, at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 So. Highland Drive, also one hour prior to the

Morrison, Dale H.
Dale H. Morrison 1936 ~ 2005 Dale H. Morrison, 68, passed away in Bountiful,
Utah, January 26, 2005 having humbly met the challenges of dementia, multiple
strokes and Parkinson's Disease. He was born August 27, 1936 in Salt Lake
City, Utah, to Charles Henry and Ann Morrow Morrison. He married Sheila Adair,
December 22, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Teaching math was his love and
he reluctantly left the classroom to be a counselor some years before retiring
in 1996, having served 35 1/2 years in the Salt Lake and Granite School
Districts. Dale also retired from the Utah Air National Guard after serving 20
years in the refueling unit. He was a man of many talents. He loved to build
and our home displayed his handiwork, as did a ski boat he built in his youth.
He helped build his parents home at Bear Lake, helped many neighbors with
projects, and tutored friends' children in math. Dale was proud of his family
and loved them. We will continue loving him and we will miss him; but we are
grateful that he is finally free. Dale is survived by his wife, Sheila;
children, Taunya (Eric) Brewer; Taura (Tony) Montella; Brad (Cecilia)
Morrison; Teryn (Cory) Ercanbrack; grandchildren: Tyan, Cade, Cassidy, Dallas,
Jake, Kennidy, Keiton, William, and Hadlee; brother, Charles (Leila) Morrison;

Nuttall, Iris Michaelsen
Iris Michaelsen Nuttall 1911 ~ 2005 Iris passed away at her residence in
Bountiful, UT on Jan. 25, 2005 with her oldest granddaughter at her side. Iris
was born on June 11, 1911 to Claud David and Mabel Larsen Michaelsen in
Mayfield, UT. She spent her early years in Sanpete county attending local
schools and especially enjoying the school social functions. She graduated
early from high school and began her college education at BYU. While at
college she became an avid bridge player, which she enjoyed her entire life.
She married E. Ross Nuttall and they had two children, Phyllis and Jerry, who
always lived within a few miles except when military duty forced a temporary
separation. The family lived in Salt Lake City most of their lives. Iris
worked for many years at the LDS Hospital as both a volunteer and an employee
and enjoyed the work and the association with her fellow workers. She enjoyed
traveling and gardening in her yard where she grew beautiful roses and iris'.
After her first heart attack she moved to Bountiful to be closer to Phyllis
and her granddaughter Pam, who spent many hours looking after her grandma.
Iris is survived by her son Gerald M. (Janette), son-in-law Bob Van Leeuwen,
sisters Pauline Petersen and Helen Hatch. Preceded in death by her daughter
Phyllis Van Leeuwen, a sister Leona Pritchett, and a brother Leon Michaelsen.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and seven
great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank everyone at Heritage
Place, for their help and friendliness while Iris lived there. Funeral
services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 28, 2005 at Larkin Sunset
Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah, where family and friends

Nedra Nickerson Nyman 1927 ~ 2005 Nedra Nickerson Nyman passed away from
natural causes incident to age on January 21, 2005. Nedra was born Nov. 20,
1927 to Charles Harvey and Mary Alice Welsh Nickerson in Provo, Utah where she
was raised. She married Carl Nyman Jr. July 12, 1947 (later divorced). They
raised their children in Price, Utah until 1965 and moved to Salt Lake, where
she spent the remainder of her years. Nedra graduated from the University of
Utah in 1972. She is survived by her children, Shaun Moeller, Salt Lake; David
(Val) Nyman, Nibley, Ut, and Cindy (Jim) Horrocks, Highland, Ut; 11
grandchildren, Rebecca, Tarrah, Christina, Kelly, Johnathan, Shaela, Matthew,
Mandy, Corrine, Chelsie, and Sean; and by six great-grandchildren. Preceded in
death by her son Mark A. Nyman, parents, a brother Roy Nickerson, and a sister
Veva N. Tanner. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and
gratitude for the loving care and compassion given to Nedra and her family by
all the staff at Silverado Senior Living Center. Private memorial services

Gertrude Roemer Kowallis Olsen 12/02/21 ~ 1/24/05 Gertrude Olsen, 83, passed
away at home January 24, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born December
2, 1921 to Karl August Kowallis and Johanna Roemer in River Heights, Cache
County, Utah. She married James Irven Olsen March 24, 1947 in Reno, Nevada. He
died July 25, 1990. They had one son, Irven Karl Olsen. She was a member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and sang with three of her
sisters. She attended River Heights Elementary and South Cache High Schools.
She was a beautician and owned her own shop. She worked with Jimmy in their
caf  and pursued many interests. She loved to garden. She is survived by her
son, Irven Olsen, Salt Lake City, one sister, Mildred (Ralph) Goddard, Salt
Lake City, Utah and one brother, Richard (Nancy) Kowallis, Orem, Utah. She was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and six sisters.
She missed her twin, Phillip, who died the day he was born. The viewing will
be January 28, 2005 from 10-11 a.m. in the Lake Hills Memorial Chapel, 10055
South State Street, Sandy, Utah. Interment: Lake Hills Memorial Park. Funeral

Nola Olivia Kelsey Nelson Peterson Will Be Missed MT. PLEASANT - Nola Olivia
Kelsey Nelson Peterson, 91, passed away Jan. 24, 2005 in Nephi, UT with her
family by her side. She was born in Oak Creek, UT to Rupert Lee and Elvina
Amelia Ostensen Kelsey. She married Claylard L. Nelson on April 8, 1931 in
Manti, UT, later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He passed away Feb. 24, 1964.
She was single for 26 years then she married John A. Peterson in the Manti
Temple. He passed away Sept. 21, 1993. Nola was the breakfast cook at Wasatch
Academy for 26 years. She loved to play the organ, taught primary for 35 years
and loved her church. Nola was a member of the DUP for 40-50 years. She was
deeply religious and lived it, attending the temple regularly throughout her
life. She loved to read and the joy of her children were the light of her
life. Survived by children, Doris (Robert) Young, Evanston, WY; Brant (Billie)
Nelson, Hurricane, UT; LouEna (Elvin) Frandsen, Mt. Pleasant, UT; 11
grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children; four great-great grandchildren; two
great-great-great-grand-children. Preceded in death by a child, Loretta
Nelson; grandchildren, Kevin J. Hill, Claylord LeRoy Nelson, Randall D. Young.

Alice VanCleave Rowley 1940 ~ 2005 Alice VanCleave Rowley died January 21,
2005 at Calabash, North Carolina after a short illness. Born December 17, 1940
at Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Chris and Anna VanCleave.
Attended school at Steamboat Springs, graduating in 1959. Attended Central
Business of Denver Colorado, graduating in June 1960. Married Allan Rowley,
June 1961 in Steamboat Springs. Resident of Salt Lake City since 1962.
Employed at Anixter for 27 years as an inside sales person where she had many
friends. Survived by husband, Allan; sons, Gregory (Eilene) of LaPoint, Utah
and Daniel (Gretchen) of Riverton; sister, Vera (Jake) Combs of Kansas City,
Missouri and brother, Donald VanCleave of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and many
nieces and nephews. Alice loved to travel, and with her husband was able to
visit many countries of this world. She especially loved the ocean and spent
as much time as possible on the beach and in the water. Services will be held
Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, January 28, 2005 at Redwood Memorial
Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road.

Karen Jannette Matthews Silcox 1951 ~ 2005 Our loving wife, mother, daughter
and sister, Karen Jannette Matthews Silcox, 53, died Jan. 22, 2005 in
Sacramento, California. Born June 17, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was
raised by Clifford Wayne and Lorraine Vickers Alder Matthews. Preceded in
death by biological parents Klin Darton and Carol Larkin Alder. She was an
active member of the LDS Church where she diligently served in her many
callings. She had a pure love of Christ and her testimony was the rock of her
family. She has now returned to her Heavenly Father, where she will continue
her work. Survived by husband, Brent Silcox of 30 years; children Michele
(Michael) Robinson, Michael (Glenna) Worth, Jeremy (Jennie) Silcox, Troy
(Stephanie) Silcox all of California and her dog, Ringo, whom she considered
her son; 11 grandchilden and brothers and sisters Steve Matthews of Phoenix,
Arizona, Marlene Osoro of Copperton, Utah, Douglas Wayne Matthews of Phoenix,
Arizona and Janice Schroeder of Sandy, Utah and mother-in-law Olea Silcox of

Jack Douglas Smith 1965 ~2005 Jack Douglas Smith, age 39, died unexpectedly in
Cedar Rapids, Iowa on January 19, 2005. Born September 13, 1965 in Ashland,
Kentucky, the son of Jack Douglas Smith and Elena Viola Mosley. Married
Jennifer Spangenberg in April, 2004. Doug grew up in Kentucky and served an
LDS mission in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. He graduated from BYU and spent
his career working as a software engineer for numerous hi-tech companies in
several states. Doug was an incredibly kind and generous man who loved his
family a great deal. Our time with Doug was too short. He was loved very much
and will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by his wife Jennifer;
children by a previous marriage, Benjamin (14) and Sara (9); parents, Jack
Douglas Smith and Elena Viola Mosley; sister, Tina Louise Smith;

Spencer, Veda Cameron Taylor
Veda Cameron Taylor Spencer 1911 ~ 2005 Veda Cameron Taylor Spencer, our
beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend,
passed peacefully from her earthly life on January 22, 2005 of natural causes
at the home of her daughter Joyce. Born Sept. 27, 1911 in Panguitch, UT, to
William Garland Cameron and Clara Adelia Judd. Married Orson Eldridge Taylor
Aug. 23, 1933. Later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
He died in 1965. She married Leland S. Spencer in 1969; widowed again in 1979.
Veda was valedictorian in her Seminary graduating class of 1931, Garfield High
School and attended LDS Business College. Worked as a telephone operator for
Mountain Bell in Panguitch and for the University of Utah. She served as
chaplain during her membership in the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers. She was
dedicated to family research and successfully gathered and completed many
family records. She had a special love of literature and wrote poetry
describing her feelings. She enjoyed golf, dancing, embroidery, dressing up,
laughter and having fun. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints and served faithfully as a service volunteer in the Family
History Department for many years. She worked as ward and stake librarian and
in other numerous callings, filling her life with joy. Veda's compassionate
service to others will long be remembered. Veda's greatest desire was to be a
devoted wife, mother and grandmother, serving her family and others. She
radiated goodness and brought dignity to womanhood. Her sweet spirit now rests

Spencer daughter in law, 24 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren and eight
great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, William
Judd, Keith, Merle, Roy, Clarence, and Ralph Cameron; sister, Opal Stewart;
son, James E. Spencer; granddaughter, Kellie Marla Sharp; and great grandson,

Steele, Harold James
Harold James Steele "A Noble Gentleman" On January 24, 2005, Harold died of
natural causes at the age of 93. Born to James Hardy and Elizabeth Sumner
Steele on Dec. 23, 1911 in Rigby, Idaho, raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Harold
graduated from Rice Institute and completed his graduate work at the
University of Texas (Houston). After graduation, he accepted a job in
Washington, D.C. with the Federal Housing Administration. Harold was highly
respected in both the business and social communities. He was President and a
Director of First Security Bank; Vice President and Director of First Security
Corporation; Member of Investment & Policy Committees, Executive Board of
First Security Corporation. He also served as President of the Utah Bankers
Association, President of the Clearing House Association; President of the
Alta Club, President of The Utah Symphony; President of the Salt Lake Chapter
of the American Red Cross; Chairman of Ballet West Board, Chairman of St.
Mark's Hospital Board; Chairman of the Marriner S. Eccles Foundation; Director
of the following: Anderson Lumber Company, Alta Industries, Christiansen
Diamond Company, St. Mark's - Rowland Hall School, YWCA, and the Salt Lake
Chamber of Commerce. In 1970, Harold was elected to serve on the International
Board of IBANCO, the parent Board over all international banks issuing Bank
Americard - now Visa Card. In 1985 Harold was honored by the Utah Arthritis
Foundation as their "Man of the Year". He was presented this honor by former
first lady, Betty Ford. During his retirement years, he and his wife,
Eleanore, lived both in Indian Wells, California and Salt Lake City. He served
as a director of The Eldorado Country Club, as well as The Salt Lake Country
Club. Harold was also a member of the Desert Island Country Club (Rancho
Mirage, CA), Flat Rock Fishing Club (Idaho), New State Hunting Club, and the
Teton Valley Lodge (Idaho). To reduce the magic of Harold's life to his
extensive list of business and social accomplishments seems incomplete, since
such accomplishments, although important in their works, are only parts of his
true life's achievements. We will miss the twinkle in Harold's eye, his
unending curiosity and the genuine interest he had for everyone he met. Lucky
were the many who experienced Harold's charm and wit, especially at dinner
parties or the many social functions he attended. A noble gentleman always, we
will remember Harold for the ready smile on his face and the love and kindness
in his heart. The full balance of his life was celebrated with his wife
Eleanore Eccles, who he married on September 1, 1937. Together they raised a
family, traveled extensively, played lots of golf, entertained and enjoyed 67
very good years together. Harold is survived by his wife, Eleanore and his
three children; James M. Steele (Linda Wolcott), Sharon Steele-McGee
(Stephen), Robin Steele Palmer (Kent); four grandchildren; Stephanie R.
Steele, J. Michael Steele, Anna Palmer, Maysie Palmer and one
great-grandchild, Ashton Jones. The family would like to thank the team of
care-givers who have so lovingly attended both Harold and El, as well as the
many doctors, nurses and administrators at the University of Utah Hospital. A
family graveside service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at noon at
Larkin Sunset Chapel, 2350 East 1300 South. A Celebration of Life will be held
at The Country Club, 2400 Country Club Dr. from 1:00-3:00 p.m. All who knew
Harold and wish to share in remembering him are invited to join the family at

Talbot, Michelle
Michelle Carroll Talbot 1965 ~ 2005 Michelle Carroll Talbot passed away Jan.
22, 2005, surrounded by her adoring and loving family. Michelle left behind
her best friend and love of her life, beautiful daughter Brittney, following a
valiant and courageous battle with leukemia. Michelle was born Aug. 9, 1965,
in Murray, the precious daughter of Phil and Sharon Carroll and grew up in So.
Jordan with loving and fond memories of her childhood. Graduated from Bingham
High in 1983. She went on to continue her education at SLCC, and her greatest
wish was to see her daughter Brittney go to college. After moving to Park
City, Michelle met Chad Wilkinson. He and his children became a special part
of her life, and continued that friendship up until her passing. Michelle
loved being employed by Arrowhead Dental Lab where she created many lasting
friendships. A special moment in her life, besides the birth of her daughter,
was the day she received the Employee of the Year award. "What an
accomplishment!" She will be extremely missed by all her co-workers and all
that knew her. She had the gift and ability to always lift others up with her
positive attitude and sweet outgoing spirit. Her smile was like a ray of
sunshine for all to enjoy. Everyone was drawn to her because of her love and
warm heart - she touched many lives for good. If only all could emulate her
life and be more Christ-like as she. "What a wonderful world it would be." She
was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings. One of her
greatest goals and desires was to go through the temple. She achieved that
goal on Sept. 9, 2004, at Jordan River Temple. She shared her faith and
testimony with all, and was truly grateful for her knowledge that she would be
returning to her Father in Heaven and be reunited with family and friends
waiting to greet her (what a celebration she is having). Her family has gained
much strength and endurance for the way she lived her life. She told several
people that she would not have changed the last 23 months for anything.
Survived by daughter; Brittney; father and mother; Phil and Sharon Carroll,
brother; Chris (Kim) Carroll, brother; Casey (Torey) Carroll, sister; Danielle
(Jeff) Jones, Grandma Carpenter, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. We want
to offer a special thanks to Michelle's caregivers at Cottonwood hospital on
the 5th floor, the staff at Dr. Nibley's and Dr. Patricia Legants, IV therapy,
along with Hospice. We will feel a void in our lives until we meet again. We
are so grateful and will cherish the time we had together. Funeral services
celebrating Michelle's life will be held Saturday Jan. 29, 2005 11:00 a.m. at
the Corner Canyon 4th Ward Chapel 1300 East 13366 South. A gathering of
friends and family celebrating her life will be held Friday, Jan. 28 from 6-8
p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. So. Jordan Pkwy. (10600 So.) and on
Saturday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan Cemetery.

Bryan Jon Thomas 1960 ~ 2005 Got Sand? Bryan Jon Thomas took his last ride up
Sand Mountain January 23, 2005. Third son born May 13, 1960 in Murray, Utah to
George Richard Thomas and Laura LaDawn (Tucker) Thorpe. Married Michelle on
Nov. 12, 1999. Bryan's life centered around enjoying his family and friends,
including coaching and playing softball, hunting, fishing, and camping. His
special love was riding ATV' s. Bryan took pride in being a "smoothie"
operator at Ready Made Concrete. For 20 years, he always managed to get the
smooth side up. Previously worked at CPC and Fogle. Bryan is survived by his
loving wife Michelle AIleen (Draper-James), his four children, Colleen, Bryan,
Natalie, Preston (James); father George (Carma) Thomas; mother LaDawn Thorpe;
brothers and sisters Richard (Christine) Thomas, Wayne (Dawn) Thomas, Warren
(Julie) Thomas, Carla (Loren) Ludlow, Bart (Michelle) Thomas, Christopher
(Jami) Thorpe, Carmen (Steve) Whetman, Dike (Patricia) Thomas, Bonnie Morrill,
Steven (Joni) Thorpe, Tricia Thorpe, countless nieces and nephews, and
numerous close family friends, especially the Sand Rats and softball
associates. Preceded in death by Paul C. Thorpe and grandparents. His presence
will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral

Velasquez, George Paul
George Paul Velasquez "Devoted Father, Grandfather & Son" George Paul
Velasquez passed away of natural causes on January 26, 2005. George was born
May 25, 1935, son of Fidel and Benita Velasquez, in Bingham, Utah. He
graduated from Granite High School, attended the University of Utah and was a
member of the Utah National Guard Engineering Division. George was employed by
several different companies throughout his life; however, George's passion,
along with George Jr., his sidekick, was buying cars and fixing them up.
George was survived by his mother; brothers and sisters, Joe, Dale, Esther,
Elaine, Rose, Ben, and Mick, including their spouses and children; his
children, Jim (Sheree), Candy (Mario), Tammy (Rick), George Jr. and 12
grandkids. Preceded in death by his father. George will be greatly missed.
Special thanks for Murray Care Center and Inspiration Hospice. Funeral
services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's
Catholic Church, 450 E. 2100 S. Friends may call Friday evening at the

Wagstaff, Dale Cleon
Dale Cleon Wagstaff 1954 ~ 2005 Dale Cleon Wagstaff died January 17, 2005.
Dale was born October 6, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald Hills
Wagstaff, Sr. and Annie Lucile Bowcutt Wagstaff. He comes from a family of ten
children and has an identical twin brother. Dale is a member of The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From his early youth, Dale appeared in many
plays and musical productions at the Valley Music Hall, and at the University
of Utah. He grew up in Holladay, Utah and later moved with his family to the
Foothill area of Salt Lake City where he attended Highland High School. Dale
taught school at the Salt Lake Technical College and was a skilled mechanic
and craftsman. Dale was an avid snow skier, competitive motorcycle rider, and
all around sports enthusiast. He was an accomplished musician and artist. He
loved nature and was most comfortable out of doors with the wind blowing
through his hair. From the time he was a little boy, he had a fascination with
trucks. He used to play on the tank trucks at his father's Gas Stations and
Truck Stop. Dale began "Dale C. Wagstaff Trucking Company" in 1973. He
traveled over three millions miles, serving people and making friend across
North America for over thirty Years. Since 1986, Dale lived in Billings,
Montana. He loved Montana's Big Sky, and his passing is a great loss to his
friends and family who love him so much. Dale is survived by his 90 year-old
mother, Annie Bowcutt Wagstaff, eight siblings (four brothers and four
sisters); Sheryl (Steve) Mason, Stevensville, Montana; Donald H. Wagstaff,
Jr., Las Vegas, Nevada; Janet Howells Wolfley (Darrell), Shoal Creek, Alabama;
Doug (Laura) Wagstaff, Oakley, Utah; Dwayne (Carmen) Wagstaff, Twin Falls,
Idaho; Kathy (Mark) Emery, Holladay, Utah, Darlene Macey Hughes (Jordan),
Sandy, Utah; Darol (Loree) Wagstaff, Bountiful, Utah. Dale loved all of his
nephews and nieces and considered his twin brother Darol's five children and
twin grandchildren to be his own. Dale was preceded in death by his father,
and his older sister Judith Elaine Wagstaff. Through the Organ Donor program,
Dale was able to extend the lives of four individuals. Funeral services will
be held Saturday, January 29, 2005, 12:00 noon, at the Monument Park 14th Ward
Chapel, 2255 S. Wasatch Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends and family may
call Saturday morning prior to service from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. Funeral
services provided by Cottonwood Mortuary. Interment, Salt Lake City, Cemetery.

Williams, Josephine Felstead
Josephine Felstead Williams 1912 ~ 2005 Josephine "Jo" Felstead Williams
passed away Sunday, January 23, 2005 at home in Lake Point, Utah. Born July
13, 1912 in Lake Point, Utah. Married Bud Austin Williams December 13, 1929.
Jo spent her life raising four children and operating her own business in Lake
Point, Utah. The Unxld Caf  and Motel Lake Point, a task she met with pioneer
spirit. She was an example of hard work and perseverance. Survived by two
daughters, JoAnn (Connie) Bement and Frankie (Marion) Duke; sister, Eunice
Rudy; brother Clyde Felstead of Salt Lake; 13 grandchildren; 19
great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by
her son, Ellis "Erldean" Williams; daughter, Marlene "Clyde" Goodenough;
grandchild, Kimberly Goodenough; brothers, Albert and Earl Felstead. Funeral
service will be held Friday, January 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Russon
Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends may call from 12:00
