She also loved her family, the gospel, her friends, her neighbors, her extended family, letters, visiting on the phone, family reunions, sewing club, entertaining, reading, researching and writing family histories, Nevada, and DUP. She met Karl E. Nash in 1944 in Las Vegas (note: at church) and had this impression: "He's going to be part of your future." They were married January 29, 1947, in the Salt Lake Temple. Her service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints included a term from 1952 to 1957 on the Young Women's General Board; as president of the YWMIA, Primary, and Relief Society; and as a teacher and organist in other auxiliaries. She and Dad served a mission to Tampa, Florida, from 1983 to 1985 and then they were ordinance workers in the Salt Lake Temple for 11 years.
