Beckstrom, Janice Thygerson
Janice Thygerson Beckstrom 1938 ~ 2005 Janice Thygerson Beckstrom passed away
June 6, 2005 in West Jordan, UT. Born Aug 1, 1938 to David Owen Thygerson and
Phyllis Bigler Thygerson. An active member of the LDS Church. Enjoyed music
and her Primary children. Also worked with the handicap mutual. Devoted mother
and grandmother, her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She touched the
lives of all who knew her. Survived by children: Jeff (Janice) Beckstrom, Lisa
(David) Houtz, Greg Beckstrom; seven grandchildren; sisters, Jeanne (Frank)
Brown, Joyce (Deloy) Dawson; brothers, Phil (Sherri) Thygerson, Richard
(Barbara) Thygerson, Robert Thygerson. Preceded in death by parents; niece,
Debra Dawson; nephew, Kevin Thygerson. Services will be held Friday, June 10,
2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prairie 4th Ward, 5320 W. 7000 So. Viewing will be
Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South

Guy Joe Brunetti 1929 ~ 2005 The family of Guy Joe Brunetti wishes to thank

Carter, Edith
Edith Carter "DeeDee" "Together Again" Edith Fryer Dodds Carter passed away
June 5, 2005 in Salt Lake City, after a long struggle with cancer. Born April
15, 1921 in Goshen, UT to John Albert and Annie Fryer Dodds. Married Alton W.
Carter on Sept. 15, 1941; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He
passed away May 27, 2002. Edith was a loving mother, grandmother, and
great-grandmother. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, serving in various and many positions. Her favorite calling
was with her husband serving as stake missionaries. Survived by children,
Linda (Stewart) Olsen, Myrna (Doug) Forney, Brian (Lorene) Carter; seven
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Alton
Larry; 11 brothers and sisters. We give thanks to the U of U MICU and Doctor
Estelle Harris for their loving care. Funeral services will be held on Friday,
June 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street,
where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10-10:45 a.m. on
Friday. Interment Spanish Fork Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would
appreciate a donation to help with Edith's headstone.

Carver, Jessie Page
Jessie Page Carver 1914 ~ 2005 Jessie Page Carver passed away on June 6, 2005
in Nephi, Utah. She was 90 years old. She was born July 28, 1914 in West
Layton, Utah to Orson Mark Page and Annie Maria Parker. She married Lewis
Floyd Carver June 30, 1941 in Walla Walla, Washington. They were later sealed
in the Salt Lake Temple. Floyd died September 6, 1969. Jessie attended Davis
County schools and graduated from Davis High in 1933. She was a beloved wife,
and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a smile and
hug for everyone. She was always serving others in her family, neighborhood
and ward. She was a gracious hostess, and a wonderful cook, seamstress and
homemaker. She was an excellent gardener and shared her vegetables and
flowers. She loved all animals, family gatherings, and giving gifts to others.
She was a kind and generous woman. Jessie was a faithful member of The Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she served in many callings. She had
a strong testimony of the gospel which she passed on to her family through her
words and her example. She served a Stake Temple Mission in Ogden for many
years, and was active in genealogy research. Jessie lived in Layton and
Kaysville for many years prior to moving to Manti and then Nephi. Jessie is
survived by her daughter Lynda Thompson (Don), her grandchildren: Andrea
Livingston (Ross), Chet Thompson (Jill), Garen Thompson (Charisty), and Chris
Thompson (Jenny), great-grandchildren: Tanner, Rachel, Jacob, Hannah, Janna,
Savanna and Gabriel. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd,
brothers Lawrence, Kenneth and Orion Page, sister Thelma Steed and a grandson
Clint Thompson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 11
a.m. at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family
may call Saturday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Syracuse
City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Jessie's kind friends and caregivers
at both Heritage Hills Care Center and Central Utah Valley Hospice in Nephi.

Coombs, Gary Lee
Gary Lee Coombs 1933 ~ 2005 Gary Lee Coombs, age 71, died June 5, 2005 at his
home of Parkinson's Disease, surrounded by his family. Gary was born October
16, 1933 in Salt Lake City to Lonnie J. and LaVerne Coombs. Gary graduated
from South High in 1951 and enlisted in the US Air Force. Gary was stationed
in France, where he met his soul mate, Liliane. He and Lili were wed on August
25, 1956 in France. They returned to Salt Lake City and began their family.
Gary was employed at AT&T for 35 years, retiring in 1990. Gary enjoyed the
outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Gary shared his love of the outdoors
with his grandchildren, teaching each of them "Grandpa's Secrets." Gary and
Lili traveled extensively after their retirement. Gary was a member of the
Free and Accepted Masons, Progress Lodge #22, and El Kalah Temple of the
Shrine. Gary is survived by his wife Lili; daughters Patricia (Joe) Blackburn,
Martine (Brad) Wilkes, Monique (Dave) Ferguson; and grandchildren Collette,
Justin, Dallon, Madeline, Cassidy, Sadie and Garrett. Funeral services will be
held Friday, June 10, 2005 at 10:30 a.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300
S. Friends are welcome to visit 11/2 hours prior to the service. In lieu of

Dahl, Judith
Judith Dahl "Judy" KAMAS, UT- Judith "Judy" Dahl, 62, of Kamas, Utah passed
away on Monday, June 06, 2005, at her home. She was born on July 2, 1942 in
Murray, Utah to Everett James and Cora (Goff) Dahl. She was a graduate of
Brigham Young University. She was a teacher for 36 years. Judy was a member of
the L.D.S. Church. She wrote and had published a book, "The History of the
Emerson School District." She is survived by her brothers Edwin E. Dahl of
Kamas, Utah and James C. Dahl of Heber City, Utah Sisters, Wendy (Bob) Richins
and Mary D. Lilienthal, both Coalville. Graveside service will be on Thursday
at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 3401 Highland Drive in Salt
Lake City, Utah. Friends may call at the Crandall Funeral Home on Wednesday
evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

De St. Jeor, Doris Alice Burrell
Doris Alice Burrell De St. Jeor "Loving Aunt" Doris Alice Burrell De St. Jeor
passed away Friday June 3, 2005, of natural causes. Born January 29, 1909 to
Alfred Burrell Sr. and Emma Louisa Cogman Burrell in Norwich, Norfolk,
England. She emigrated to America with her parents in April of 1937. She
married Archie E. De St. Jeor Aprl 22, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple. (He
preceded her in death December 27, 1992.) She was active in The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints both in England and in Salt Lake City as
teacher, organist, temple worker, active genealogist and served with her
husband as a missionary in the British Isles. She served as historian for both
the De St. Jeor and the Burrell family organizations. Upon her arrival in
America she became a stenographer at ZCMI and later as a bookkeeper for a real
estate agency until her retirement in 1974. She is survived by a brother,
Wilfred Burrell (Kathryn) Salt Lake City; nine nieces, and five nephews.
Preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred Burrell Jr., Herbert Burrell,
Arthur Burrell and by her sister Gladys Burrell Cox. She has been living at
the Wentworth at South Temple Assisted Living Center for six years and for
four months has been served by Inspiration Hospice. She was grateful for those
who touched her life and expressed her love for her many friends. She will be
missed for the love that she generated wherever she went. Funeral services
will be held Friday, June 10, 2005, 12 noon at the 21st North Ward, 680 East
2nd Avenue. Friends may call one hour before the service. Interment will be in
the Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers she requested donations be
made to the Arthritis or Cancer Foundations.

Dunn, Robert Frank
Robert Frank Dunn 1922 ~ 2005 Robert Frank Dunn was born in Salt Lake City,
Utah on December 4, 1922. Our precious daddy, grandfather, and
great-grandfather chose June 4, 2005 to return to his Heavenly Father and
rejoin his parents and his wonderful granddaughter, Suzie. Bob married Mary
Hansen and they have three beautiful daughters, Cori, Karen and Suzanne. Bob
and Mary were later divorced. Bob loved and cherished his family above all
else in his life. He was always happiest when surrounded by his close family
at any kind of get-together! He was very proud and always expressed deep
pleasure at achievements attained by any and all of his children and
grandchildren. Bob also constantly expressed endless thanks and gratitude for
every attention or help given him by everyone throughout his life. Bob was
very proud to have served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1940-1946 during
World War II. The destroyers Bob served on were involved in many Pacific
Theatre battles, including Midway and Iwo Gima. Bob loved to travel anytime,
anywhere, and especially enjoyed living in Reno, Nevada for several years
before returning to his family in Salt Lake as his health had begun to weaken.
Bob's personal needs were few and simple but he dreamed big dreams. He was
always motivated to give everything possible to his family. Our family
expresses deep respect and admiration to the nurses, aides, and management
staff at Woodland Park Care Center, especially Jennifer, Gypsy, Beth, and
Lisa, for their consistent loving care for our Dad. Bob is survived by his
three daughters, Coralynn (Glade) Crosgrove, Karen Evans, and Suzanne (Dale)
Mitchley; he is also survived by Mary Dunn and Jeronimo Lozano; John Elkins
Sr.; grandchildren, John Jr., Robert, James, Corrine, Brittany, Steven Jr.,
Katie; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, and
granddaughter, Suzie Walker. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10,
2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State where friends may call
Friday from 10-11:00 a.m. Interment with military honors at the Utah Veterans
Memorial Cemetery, Bluffdale, Utah.

Janie Durham 1921 ~ 2005 Janie Mae Stewart Durham, age 83, passed away June 5,
2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born August 20, 1921 in Benton, Louisiana,
daughter of Melvin and Mary Robinson Stewart. Married Sam Durham in Salt Lake
City, Utah; he preceded her in death. Member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survived by daughter, Patricia Gray; daughter-in-law, Tammy L. Durham;
granddaughter, Kelly N. Durham; grandsons: Rufus C. Gray, Alex B. Durham and
Thomas Durham. Also preceded in death by mother; grandmother, Janie M. Means;
stepmother, Lena B. Means; grandfather, Reverend Humphrey Means; son, Sam
Durham; brothers: Willie, Melvin, Eugene and Thomas Stewart; sisters: Johnnie
Gray Stewart, Lucille Richardson and Euradell Johnson. Funeral services will
be held Friday, 12:00 noon at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 South State

Fannie Donaldson Grover "Beloved Mother" BLUFFDALE- Fannie D. Grover, 87,
passed away at her home Friday, June 3, 2005 in Bluffdale, Utah. She was born
in Springville, Utah Aug. 11, 1917 to John William Donaldson and Amy Tautz
Reynolds. Married Wayne Smith Grover in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Dec. 1, 1938.
She is survived by six children, William (Glenda), Lodi, CA; Ronald (Erika),
Ellensburg, WA; David (Candy), Janesville, CA; Stanley (Cherilyn), Susanville,
CA; Phylis (Robert) Adams, Bluffdale, Kay (James) Wiley, Stevensville, TX; 20
grandchildren, 24 great-grandchil dren. Preceded in death by her husband,
Wayne; and one grandchild. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church all her
life and served in many capacities. She resided in Susanville, Lassen County,
CA for 50 years. For the last several years, she has resided in the home of
her daughter and son-in-law, Phylis and Robert Adams in Bluffdale. Funeral
services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Bluffdale 2nd

Harris, William John
William John Harris "Bill" William John Harris passed away June 5, 2005 in
Salt Lake City, UT. Born Sept. 26, 1944 in Tucson, AZ and adopted as the
oldest son of Dr. and Mrs. Ira Eugene Harris in Miami, AZ. The biggest joy of
his life were his children Chris and Loni Harris and the happiness he found as
a new member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The family is
eternally grateful for the love and care of his Ward family He is survived by
his son Chris, daughter, Loni, both of CA; and his sister Ann Wittke, WA.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Gene. A memorial service will be

Hilton, Vera Lee Beckett
Vera Lee Beckett Hilton 1917 ~ 2005 Vera Lee Hilton, age 87, loving wife of
Barney Holbrook Hilton, died Sunday, June 5, 2005, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born in Leeton, Missouri, September 8, 1917, to Loren Philip Beckett and
Lettie May Dick Beckett, first of their nine children. She came to Pleasant
Grove, Utah in 1938, and met her sweetheart. They were married March 17, 1939,
in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Vera Lee was a dedicated wife and mother. She was
an intelligent woman who loved learning and teaching. She had a deep and
abiding love for her Savior and served willingly in many callings in The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; including three full-time
missions with Barney to Nauvoo, Illinois; Jacksonville, Florida; and the
Atlanta Georgia Temple. She had a beautiful singing voice, a flair for drama
and dancing, and loved to share a good joke. She was a wonderful cook and was
famous for her flaky piecrusts. Vera Lee is survived by her husband Barney and
six of their seven children; Donn and Katy Hilton, Michal and Allen Miller,
Stephanie and Steve Glende, Sally and Jim Everett, Sydney and Doug Whipple,
and Mark and Marinda Hilton; and sisters, Lucille Richins, Jean Pope and Julia
Clear. Preceded in death by infant daughter Patricia. She was the proud
grandmother of 29 and great-grandmother of 37. Thanks to the caring staff at
Federal Heights Care Center and VistaCare Hospice. Funeral services will be
held Friday, June 10, 2005, at 12 p.m. at the Winder 2nd Ward, 1361 East 4000

Hipwell, Julia O.
Julia O. Hipwell 1914 ~ 2005 Julia Orullian Hipwell, quietly stepped out of
this life and into the arms of her beloved husband and parents on June 4,
2005. Julie was born on March 24, 1914 to Venus and Joseph Orullian in Salt
Lake City, Utah. She married William (Bill) Hipwell in 1951 who brought light
into her life everyday until his death in 1996. Julie is survived by six
loving brothers; Alma (Bessie), Hyrun (Dawn), Peter (Gloria), Daniel (Judy),
David (Janice), Ephriam (Virginia), and many nieces and nephews who loved,
respected and cared for her and Bill until their passing. Those who loved
Julie gathered around her at her passing for a beautiful family prayer. Julie
depended upon and was greatly served by her loving brothers and sisters-in-law
for many years. She was always grateful and appreciative of their kindness'.
The nieces and nephews who tended to her regularly will miss teasing her to
make her smile, although we were never a good stand-in for Bill. Julia worked
as a valued employee of the Glade Candy Company for many years. She was a
wonderful wife and homemaker and loved tending to her beautiful yard and rose
gardens. She will be missed by those who cared for and loved her. Funeral
Services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 12:00 in the Wasatch Lawn
Mortuary Chaple, 3401 South Highland Drive. Friend and family can honor Julia
Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at

Hudson, Sandra Kerr
Sandra Kerr Hudson 1937 ~ 2005 Sandra Kerr Hudson, 68, of Bedford, NH died May
30, 2005 in Manchester, NH after complications from injuries related to her
accident and paralysis suffered in 1979. Born in Syracuse, NY in April 1937,
she was the daughter of John Alexander and Kathryn (Ryan) Kerr. She graduated
from Cortland State Teachers College in New York and taught grades 2 through 6
in Syracuse and Camillus, NY, Virginia Beach, VA and Sandy, UT. Ms. Hudson was
a member of the New York State Teachers Association. She had been active in
local music theaters in Syracuse, Virginia Beach, Sandy and Sparta, NJ. The
family includes her former husband, Phillip Hudson of Salt Lake City; a son,
Brian Hudson of Sandy, UT; a daughter, Kathryn Scovel of Cary, NC; four
grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Smith of Syracuse, NY; a brother, John A. Kerr
of Manchester, NH; four nieces and three nephews. Memorial donations may be

Christopher (Chris) Huntsman 12/23/73 ~ 06/08/03 Dear Chris, Well son, another

Daniel Jensen 1966 ~ 2005 PERRY, Utah - Daniel Alan Jensen, 38, passed away
Friday, June 3, 2005 in Tucson, Arizona. Danny was born December 5, 1966 in
San Diego, CA a son of Fred A. and Launa June Sackett Jensen. He grew up in
Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School and Seminary and
attended University of Utah, Weber State University and Institute. Danny was a
member of the LDS Church. He had a great love for soccer both playing and
coaching. Surviving are a daughter, Cassity Brook, FL; parents, Fred and
Launa, Perry; sisters and brothers, Ryan Jensen, American Fork; Jill Jensen,
(Tiffany) Salt Lake City; Ritchie (Christina) Jensen, Las Vegas; and Alisha
Ann Delgado, Brigham City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11,
2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Perry 5th Ward Chapel, 658 W. 2250 S., Perry, UT.

Jorgensen, Cathy Margean
Cathy (Katie) Margean Jorgensen 1949 ~ 2005 Beloved mother, grandmother,
sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly June 6th, 2005 in
Salt Lake City. Born December 26th, 1949 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the daughter of
Richard and Darlene Jorgensen. Cathy was raised in Davis County, a member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she loved teaching
primary. Aunt Marge was the family recorder, keeping track of all the family
genealogy, events, accomplishments and making memory books for many family
members. She is preceded in death by both parents and nephew Levi Chlarson.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Marie) Jorgensen; three grandchildren Shawn,
Stephanie and Sara who loved their grandma and will miss her very much; one
brother, Rick (Sheri) Jorgensen; four sisters, Liza (Floyd) Young, Marie
(Bill) Petersen, Charlotte (Dennis) Chlarson, Darla Clark; many nieces,
nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 10th,

Kirkham, Joe Ann
Joe Ann Kirkham "Will Be Missed" Joe Ann Rentmeister Kirkham, age 71,
prematurely left this life June 4, 2005. Born July 24, 1933 in Tremonton, Utah
to Joseph Antone and Sarah Annie Larkin Rentmeister. She was raised in
Juniper, Idaho and Granger, Utah. Met her sweetheart, Berkley Kay Kirkham
working at Salt Lake Hardware and they were married September 19, 1952;
solemnized December 19, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away October
30, 1992. Joe Ann liked to sing and was active in the LDS Church. She spent
her life caring for her husband and children. Survived by eight children; 12
grandchildren; six great-grand-children; brothers, Jay (Garva) Rentmeister,
Riverton; Grant (Joyce) Rentmeister, West Jordan. Funeral services will be
held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the Kearns 5th Ward, 5025 West 4865 South. Friends
may visit Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road

Larsen, Martina Van Paddenburg
Martina Van Paddenburg Larsen 1916 ~ 2005 Martina Van Paddenburg Larsen passed
away June 7, 2005 in Bountiful, Utah at age 89. Born February 3, 1916 in
Amsterdam, Holland to Jan William Van Paddenburg and Tryntje Bakker. June 1925
she immigrated to the United States. November 15, 1935 married Edward Lewis
Larsen. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 1979. She was a
member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served
honorably as a counselor in Relief Society, as a temple worker in the Salt
Lake Temple and as a visiting teacher. Preceded in death by her husband,
Edward Lewis Larsen and daughter Patricia Olena Larsen Anderson. Survived by a
son, Thomas Edward Larsen (Lael), a daughter Nancy Carol Larsen Davis, (Ben),
son Richard Paul Larsen, (Norma Jean), eight grandchildren, 19
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, her two sisters,
Suzanna Goodfellow, and Kathryn Ross, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be held Friday, June 10th, 11 a.m. at the LeGrand Ward, 1078
South McClelland Street (1000 E.) A viewing will be held Thursday, June 9,
2005, 7-9 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. So. Temple and at the ward one hour
prior to the service.

Male, Ruth Tolman
Ruth Tolman Male 1919 ~ 2005 In loving memory of a woman ahead of her time, a
business woman and author. Born Ruth Lavon Miller July 20, 1919 in Salt Lake
City, Utah. Died June 4, 2005. Survived by her five children: Radon Tolman of
Wheatridge, CO; Chad Tolman of Wilmington, DE; Kim Carlson-Male of Sylvania,
GA; Jamie Male of Cortlandt Manor, NY; and Rarilee Conway of Wilmington, NY.
She is also survived by her brother Robert Miller and sister Dorothy Meyers,
both of Salt Lake City, Utah, and by 16 grandchildren and 19
great-grandchildren. Debts of gratitude for the services and care of Uihlein
Mercy Center in Lake Placid, NY, and High Peaks Hospice in Saranac Lake, NY.

Mann, Helen G.
Helen G. Mann "Together Forever" Helen was born on April 30, 1909 in Marble,
Colorado to Rose G. Goodman and Frank S. Goodman. She passed away June 6, 2005
in Holladay, Utah. Helen married Newell Call Mann on June 17, 1931 in the Salt
Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Newell died on August 30, 2000. She
worked for Walker Bank in the Trust department and for U & I Sugar until it
relocated to Idaho. She was secretary to the Stake Presidency in the Holladay
Stake for 13 years. Helen and Newell worked together in the extraction program
of the LDS Church for years. Helen was a convert to the LDS Church and was an
active member. Together they had three children: Roselyn Stratton (Paul M.
Stratton-deceased) Salt Lake City, Utah, Shirlene Andrus (Gary V. Andrus)
Soldotna, Alaska and N. Clynn Mann (Marilyn Mann) Sandy, Utah. She leaved 15
grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at the Holladay 11th Ward, 2065
E. 4675 So., Holladay, Utah, where family and friends may gather from 10:30
a.m. - 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Funeral directors, Larkin Mortuary.

Nash, Rita Jones
Rita Jones Nash 1922 ~ 2005 Rita Jones Nash, who loved the Lord and all His
children, died June 4, 2005, after a stroke. She was 83. Love and service were
the keys to Mom's life. "I first learned the joy of service from my parents.
They were always actively engaged in serving the Lord and building up His
kingdom," she wrote in 1997. "It was a principle that came naturally to Karl
and me after our marriage because he was raised the same way." Her life was
devoted to family and church in both word and deed. Mom loved her husband
dearly; they were married for 57 very happy years. She also loved her family,
the gospel, her friends, her neighbors, her extended family, letters, visiting
on the phone, family reunions, sewing club, entertaining, reading, researching
and writing family histories, Nevada, and DUP. Finally she loved being with
Dad at Wentworth and then at CareSource when they could no longer be together
at home. Mom was born January 25, 1922 in Overton, Nevada, the sixth of seven
children born to Willard Larson and Lois Emily Earl Jones. She earned a
bachelor's of science degree in business and journalism from Utah State
University and wrote or broadcasted for KSL and KDYL in Salt Lake City, KENO
in Las Vegas, and as a columnist in the 1950s for the Deseret News. She met
Karl E. Nash in 1944 in Las Vegas (note: at church) and had this impression:
"He's going to be part of your future." They were married January 29, 1947, in
the Salt Lake Temple. Her service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints included a term from 1952 to 1957 on the Young Women's General Board;
as president of the YWMIA, Primary, and Relief Society; and as a teacher and
organist in other auxiliaries. She and Dad served a mission to Tampa, Florida,
from 1983 to 1985 and then they were ordinance workers in the Salt Lake Temple
for 11 years. She's survived by her husband and sons and their wives, Michael,
Richard (Laurie), Scott (Kathy), and foster son, Norman Brown (Bequi). Her
grandchildren are Paul, Emily, and Melissa; Jessica, Amy, and Sarah; and
Bethnie (Goldlin) Wall (and their daughter, Phoenix) and Roselyn and Jared
Brown. She is also survived by her sister, Wilma Adams (Tom) and a devoted
contingent of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents;
her infant son, Douglas; and by four sisters and one brother, Wendell Jones,
Erma Stewart, Merle Onstott, Flora Colton, and LaVerne Cox. Funeral services
will be held Thursday, June 9, 11 a.m. at the Foothill 4th Ward, 1794 South
Texas Street (2405 East). A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 8, from 6-8
p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, and at the church
Thursday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. Online

Rawson, Mildred S.
Mildred S. Rawson 1913 ~ 2005 Mildred Rawson, last surviving of seven
children, was born in Leadville, Colorado on June 16, 1913. She died June 5,
2005 in Salt Lake City. A resident of Auburn, Washington for most of her life,
she moved to Salt Lake after the death of her husband James P. Rawson in 1982.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Gloria Gustin (Frank) of Salt Lake City,
five grandchildren, Don Knopff, Jr. (Diane), Greg Knopff, Julie
Gustin-Huntsman (Alonzo), Susanne Gustin-Furgis (George), Tina Gustin-Bagley
(Bryan) and three great-grand-children. Her other daughter, Joan Rawson-Knopff
(Don) preceded Mildred in death in 1967 in Auburn, Washington. Grandson, Terry
Knopff also preceded her in death in 1979. Memorial services will be held
Thursday at 12 Noon June 9th at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1070 South
Foothill Drive, where she was an active member. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Utah

Robinson, Marlene Gibson
Marlene Gibson Robinson "Simply Marvelous" Marlene Gibson Robinson passed away
June 3, 2005. She was born in Price to Bessie and Marl D. Gibson. She had a
brother Jerry and a sister Susan. Marlene had two sons and three
grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her heritage. She graduated from
East High School and the University of Utah, where she studied English and
Speech. Professionally, she was a social worker for the state and tirelessly
fought welfare fraud. She loved the outdoors, camping, taking walks and
playing bridge. She will be missed by her family and friends. She was one of a
kind. Thanks to all the fine people at the University of Utah for the
outstanding care they provided for many years. Private ceremonies are planned.

Robinson, Mickey J.
Mickey J. Robinson "Mouse" Mickey James Robinson, age 48, passed away June 6,
2005 in Salt Lake City after a long battle with many illnesses. Born June 24,
1956 in Salt Lake City, UT to Rueben Earl and Maxine Marie Butterwood
Robinson. Married Jerri; later divorced. Married Brenda S. Mustard July 11,
1992. He loved boating, hunting, and fishing. He participated in sports,
especially football and baseball in various leagues in the valley. Survived by
his wife, Brenda; son, Michael; brothers and sisters, Rueben Earl (Carla), Tom
(Dixee), Tudy, Linda (John) Housel, Debbie (Pulucky) Latu, Brent (Tina),
Bryan, and Timmy. Preceded in death by his sister, Sharlynn. The family
requests in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Brenda to help with
expenses. No services will be held, as it was Mickey's request to be cremated.

Stoker, Kathleen
Kathleen Stoker 1948 ~ 2005 On June 6, 2005, our beloved daughter, sister,
aunt, and cousin, passed away unexpectedly from complications from surgery. We
are all grief-stricken and will dearly miss her. Kathy was born January 20,
1948 and raised in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Brigham Young
University. She taught business classes for 30 years in the Salt Lake City
school district and retired from Bryant Intermediate School. She enjoyed her
students and co-workers. She also loved music (piano and voice), and sang in
several community and ward choirs. She was an active member of the L.D.S.
Church where she held many positions and accompanied several choirs. Kathy was
very generous, sharing her many talents, especially in technology. Kathy's
father, J. Floyd Stoker preceded her in death, and she leaves behind her a
loving family: mother (Edna Stoker), sister Carol Elliott, two brothers Wayne
Stoker (Brenda), Lynn Stoker (Kathy), nieces, nephews and many close
relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2005, 12:00 p.m. at
the Ensign Stake Center, 135 A. Street, and friends and family can call
Thursday evening at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
and at the Stake Center, 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. prior to the service.

Quin Taylor "Remembered" Quin Taylor, born August 8, 1977, died June 5, 2005.
Quin is survived by his parents: father, Daren Taylor and mother, Diane

Tolich, Anthony
Anthony Tolich "Tony" Anthony "Tony" Tolich, 78 of Salt Lake City, passed away
from heart failure June 5, 2005. He was born at Garfield Camp, Utah August 2,
1926 to John and Mary Mufich Tolich. Married Jean Wallace, later divorced.
Graduate of West High School and attended the University of Utah where he
played varsity basketball as a freshman. He made All City at West High School.
He participated for many years in various recreation leagues and church teams
in Salt Lake, along with his brother Mark who was rated the best basketball
player in the State, and from whom Tony learned sportsmanship and the love of
all sports. Tony was employed by Dixon Paper Company for 46 years, serving as
sales manager for the last 18 years. He retired in 1991. Tony served twice on
Boards for the Salt Lake AD Club and Bonneville Knife and Fork Club where he
served as President in 1983-1984. He started the Salt Lake Kiwanis
International Airport Club 25 years ago. Tony also supported Neighborhood
House programs. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. We will always
remember our brother for the love that kept our family together. As an uncle
there was no one better. For all the people he helped, he will never be
forgotten. He is survived by two sisters. Cathryn Tolich and Eve Fullmer,
niece Dr. Pamela Fullmer Mitchell (Burton), nephews John Tolich and Thomas
Tolich (Rhonda). Also, five grand nieces, three grand nephews and one great
-grand nephew. He was predeceased by parents, brother Mark and sister
Josephine Tolich. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at
St Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. Committal, Mt Calvary Cemetery,

Wohlitz, Susan Jeanne
Susan Jeanne Wohlitz She will be Missed Resident of Waukesha, WI. Entered into
the fullness of Eternal Life, Sunday, June 5, 2005 at the age of 33. Beloved
daughter of James and Barbara Wohlitz of West Jordan, Utah. Loving sister of
Michael (Deborah) Wohlitz. Cherished aunt of Danielle and Joey Dorey and Rob
Wohlitz. Treasured granddaughter of Ralph and the late Marion Klabunde and the
late Raymond and Jeanne Wohlitz. Dear niece of Daniel (Chris) Wohlitz, Robert
(Mary Ann) Klabunde, Kenneth (Pat) Klabunde and Kathy (Bob) Barsch. She is
also loved by great aunts and uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends.
Susan truly loved life and her warm embracing smile touched all those she met.
Throughout her short 33 years with us she has made our world a better place.
She was the president of the Board of Directors at the IIDA as well as being
greatly involved with the mentoring program at Mount Mary College for new
design students. She loved many sporting activities including coaching
volleyball at St. Sebastian Parish as well as being a member of the Sky
Knights Sky Diving Club in East Troy. She loved many things in life such as
traveling but her greatest passion came from skydiving. Although her death has
caused great sadness for her family and friends, there can be some consolation
knowing she died doing what she loved doing the most. Visitation will be held
at the Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 East Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI on Thursday,
June 9 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
St. John Cathedral, 812 N. Jackson St. in Milwaukee, WI (on the corner of
Wells & Jackson) on Friday, June 10 at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at
Wisconsin Memorial Park. In loving memory of Susan, memorials in her name may
