Born March 30, 1922 in Vernal, Utah, daughter of Mary (Merkley) Sander. She graduated from Wasatch High School in Heber City and Brigham Young University in 1949. She married Chad M. Bertelson in Salt Lake City, March 25, 1943. He preceded her in death Sept. 9, 1993 in Rockford. She was employed as a Social Worker with The Children's Home of Rockford and later with The Catholic Social Services for many years. Survivors include daughter, Myra (Craig) Westfall Bloomingdale, IL: grandson, Brian Westfall of Bloomingdale, IL; granddaughter Shannon Westfall, student at American University, Washington DC; many nieces and nephews; Katie's special caregiver and friend, Beata Janik. Nona was born on July 18, 1935 in Grace, Idaho to James Gamble and Emma Marsh Gamble. She was married on Oct. 25,1952 to Richard Black Sr., later divorced. Nona was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Boone 1946 ~ 2005 Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and great friend passed away suddenly on March 3, 2005. David was born on December 2, 1946 to Harley G. and Elna Boone in Brigham City, Utah. He married his eternal companion and sweetheart Wendy Faye Goodey on Dec. 6, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was serving as the First Counselor in the Hewwood Ward Bishopric. He had also served in many other church callings and was a great example to his family and friends. He was working as the shipping supervisor at Packaging Corporation of America. David was an avid golfer and bowler and loved sports of all kinds. He loved spending time with his family; his four granddaughters were the love of his life. He also loved spending time with his wife; they loved traveling together. David passed on to the loving arms of his father, Harley; his in-laws, Leo and Faye; his grandparents; and other family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Elna; his beloved wife, Wendy; his children, Gina Boone, Richelle (Brandon) Robinson; Ricky (Jina) Boone; his prize granddaughters, Celeste, Alexys, Kenadi, and Mekena; his brothers, Eddie (Mary), Monty (Pam), and Jack (Cindy); his sister, Sue Done; sister-in-law, Lorna Steadman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Collard, Raymond Earl Raymond Earl Collard 1918 ~ 2005 Earl Collard, 86, passed away peacefully March 3, 2005 in Salt Lake City. Born April 7, 1918 in Fountain Green, Utah to William O. and Lew Gweneth Smith Collard. He is a member of the L.D.S. faith. Earl was a sheep man as was his father and family. Later in life he was a salesman in retail. He was a great cook and loved to garden. His greatest gifts, however, were not the ones that he had but the ones that he gave. He gave smiles, hugs, and happy memories. Earl is survived by brothers, Clyde (Eleanor), Steve (Vivian), Joe (Sandy), sisters, Bonnie (Joe) Patterson and Betty Glad. Preceded in death by parents and seven brothers and sisters. Also survived by loving companion of 28 years Ruth Vigo and her children who he dearly loved. Deyoe, age 87, passed away March 3, 2005 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born June 11, 1917 in Huntington, Utah to Charles B. and Lora McKee Cozier. Moved to Logan, Utah where she was raised and graduated from Logan High School. Worked for Woolworth Co. where she met her beloved husband, Jim. Married Nov. 14, 1937 in Provo, UT. Moved to Salt Lake City, UT. Member of the LDS church where she previously served in the Primary organization. Member of the Salt Lake Jr. C.C., Towne House, where they enjoyed many fun filled hours on the dance floor, Lions and Elks auxiliaries. She loved to ski, bowl, and golf. Member of Bonneville and Meadow Brook Ladies Golf Assoc. She was in the retail sales for Women's Fashions for 25 years. Her greatest love was her dear husband and family whom she cherished and tried to set a good example. Her cheerful personality and love made her many dearly loved friends. Was a most wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. We will miss her love and guidance. Frampton Jr., William Vere William Vere Frampton Jr. 1925 ~ 2005 How can you describe a lifetime of wonderful in a few lines? William V. Frampton Jr. passed away on March 4, 2005 following a stroke. He was born on December 24, 1925 in Holladay, Utah, to W. Vere and Helen Pearl Doxey. He was sealed to Elizabeth Paradis in the Salt Lake Temple on October 7, 1949 and had three children: Lorrie, Nate, and Suzy. She preceded him in death on September 8, 1976. He later married Marie Seagle (and her four children) Kelly, Steve, Jill and Bryan on July 6, 1978. Will was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving a fulltime mission in the Eastern Central States Mission from 1947-1949. He served as a Branch President in Dover, DE, Nashville, TN, and District Mission President in the Tennessee Central District and served faithfully in the Temple as a Temple worker and Patron. The most important things in life were his church and his family, and he served both unconditionally. He worked for TWA Airlines in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Utah Air National Guard as a crew chief. He was called to active duty during the Korean War. Will worked for Detroit Diesel Allison for 35 years, living in 16 States, traveling extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada. Will is survived by his wife Marie, sons Nathan (Janet) Frampton, Kelly (Becky) Seagle, Steven (Hollie) Seagle, Bryan (Angela) Seagle and daughters Suzanne (Ryan) Holmes and Jill (David) Holt, son-in-law George (Judie) White, sister Mary (Ralph) Schofield, brother Dan (Berylene) Frampton. Garlick 1920 ~ 2005 NEPHI- Maxine Bills Garlick, age 84, passed away March 1, 2005 in Nephi, Utah. She was born April 29, 1920 in Clearcreek, Utah to James Winston and Eliza Charlotte Jensen Bills. She married Ray E. Garlick October 16, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple in 1959. He passed away December 17, 2003. She was raised in Fountain Green, Utah and moved to Nephi in 1963. She was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings. She is survived by six children, Beulah Ferry, Provo, Luana (Jack) Burton, West Valley, Arlene Cleverly, Magna, Karen (Robert) Lyman, Nephi, Linda (Robert) Talbot, Palmyra; Ellis (Debbie), Payson; 29 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; brother, Boyd Bills. Born May 13, 1921 to Floyd and Florence Davison in Woodsville, NH. Married Earl (Hodge) Hodgkins, Jr. Sept. 23, 1939, sealed in the Salt Lake Temple June 26, 1964. They joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Portsmouth, NH in 1948. Moved to Park Forest, IL, 1958 and Salt Lake City, 1989. Ruth loved the gospel and was faithful to the end. She loved teaching and genealogy. Ruth was called to be a worker in the Chicago, IL temple when it opened. Later, she was called to be a worker in the Jordan River Temple, where she served for eight years. Preceded in death by parents, husband, and brother Ed Davison. Survived by children; Earl (Michele) Hodgkins of Draper, Linda Jacobs of West Jordan, and Lorraine (Eddie) Cunningham of Riverton, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and brother John (Ellen) Davison. Johnson, Rodney Bruce "Hot Rod" Rodney Bruce Johnson "Hot Rod" Rodney Bruce Johnson passed away March 2, 2005 to be with his Heavenly Father, free of pain and the ravages of heart disease. He was born January 19, 1955 in Butte, MT to Rodney M. Johnson and Nondys (Mason) Johnson. He spent his early life in Montana. His parents moved to Salt Lake City, UT where he continued to reside until his death. He is survived by his son Rodney G. Johnson, daughter Brittiny Johnson, mother Nondys Mason Whitehall MT, wife Angela Johnson, brother David Paul Johnson and wife Michelle, and long time friend and care giver Prendy Schneider, Salt Lake City, UT, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged. His disability limited his life's joys but his courage and will to live dominated the joys and sadness he gave to those around him. He was preceded in death by his father Rodney M. Johnson, daughter Amanda Lea, sister Karlene Johnson. His last years were brightened by the joy of his grandchildren Kurtis and Jessica Pocock. Johnston, Betty Reynolds Caperon Betty Reynolds Caperon Johnston 1931 ~ 2005 Betty Reynolds Caperon Johnston passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on March 1, 2005. She was born to Robert Danborough and Claudia Jacobsen Reynolds on August 4, 1931 in Salt Lake City. She is survived by her children: Susan and daughter Esther; Alison and husband Steve Hade, Colorado; and John Caperon and children Dominic, Rebekah, and Claudia. She is also survived by her loving brother Robert (Katy) Reynolds of Boise, Idaho; sisters Carol (Jerry) Allen of Draper; and Dana (Bill) Kearney of Kelseyville, California. She is a graduate of the University of Utah and is a retired social worker for the Department of Human Services for the state of Utah. In retirement she found great joy in starting a literacy program at the Utah State Prison, she mentored second graders at Lowell Elementary through the Bridges Program, and she tutored adult refugees through Literacy Volunteers of America. She also loved her garden, her home, her books, painting, and her family. She was a champion of the human spirit. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Salt Lake City, California, and Australia; two ex-husbands John Sr. and Walt, and other assorted family members. She was born Sept. 15, 1920 in Pagosa Springs, CO to Jose and Margarita Archuleta Garcia. She married Felix S. Martinez in 1942. Ruby looked forward to spring so she could sit on her porch and feed the birds. She enjoyed visiting with her many friends, and she loved to go fishing and camping. She truly loved her best friend, Rose Gutierrez and her adopted daughter, Betty Martinez. Matz, Esther Ewing Esther Ewing Matz 1922 ~ 2005 The spirited and gracious soul of Esther Evalyn Ewing Matz departed from her body on March 4, 2005. She was 82. Born to Melvin Milo Ewing and Dominica Fanganiello Ewing on April 21, 1922; she was the second oldest of 12 children. In 1950 she moved from Denver with her husband, Sidney S. Matz, to Magna, Utah where they raised three children. In the early 50's, Esther worked as a waitress at the UneXceld caf in Lake Point. She was the only waitress there known to fall completely under a table while carrying four dinner plates and not spill a drop. In 1957 she went to work at First Security Bank in Magna. In the early 60's she hired on at Kennecott Copper in the payroll department at the Salt Lake offices. She handled the payroll deductions for all the employees at the mine. After a few years she could recite the payroll number of any one of hundreds of mine employees by knowing only their name. Though both an excellent golfer and bowler, her true love was dancing. Survived by her children, Charlene (John) Holman, Steve (Karen) Matz, and Cheri (Steve) Hudgens; five grandchildren; eight great-grand-children; brothers, Reuben, Paul, Milo, and Harry; and sisters, Dolly, Lila, and Shirley. Preceded in death by her husband, Sidney; son, Anthony; parents; brothers, Donald, Denzel, and James; sister, Virginia. We will love and miss her always. He met Afton roller skating and enjoyed it throughout his life. He liked welding and worked on the spires for the Washington D.C. Temple and helped with the new Eagle Gate. Murray and Afton loved to go for rides and see places. Nelson, 79, passed away on March 2, 2005 in Salt Lake City. He was born September 10, 2005 in Red Oak, Iowa to Carl Harry and Lila Nelson. He graduated from Wales High School in 1943. After graduating he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war he returned to Iowa and graduated from Drake University in 1951. Harry married Janet Kay Carlon May 5, 1956 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. After graduating from college he worked most of his career in the meat packing industry. His positions included Vice President of Missouri Beef Packers, President of Beefland International, and President of American Beef Packers. After retiring, he moved from Omaha to Salt Lake City to be near family. Harry is survived by his sons Ronald Nelson (wife-Colleen Ford), Scott Nelson (wife-Kathryn Simmons), Craig Nelson, sisters, Barbara Lundgren, Annette Anderson, Karen Requist, and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Kay Nelson. Funeral services will be March 5, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 2500 E. 3900 S., Salt Lake City. Nelson, Joan Joan Nelson 1928 ~ 2005 LOGAN, UTAH- Joan Nelson, 76, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 in Orem, Utah. She was born September 27, 1928 in Tremonton, Utah to Edgar and Janet H. Nelson. Her early years were spent on the family farm in Howell, Utah. She graduated from Bear River High School, graduated with a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, and completed a master's degree in social work at the University of Utah. An excellent executive secretary and administrative assistant, Joan worked at Utah Oil Company, then as an executive secretary to President Daryl Chase at Utah State University, and later became administrative secretary to Harvey Taylor, a vice president at BYU and later chancellor of LDS Church Schools. Her last employment was as a social worker in Granite School District. A member of the LDS Church, she served as a missionary in the Texas-Louisiana Mission, taught in all of the church auxiliaries, and was president of a BYU stake YWMIA. Joan was a thoughtful and caring daughter to her widowed mother, a supportive and generous sister, a loyal and delightful friend, and absolutely the world's greatest aunt. She is survived by her brothers, Carl J and Marlene Nelson of St. George; James E. Nelson, West Valley City, a sister, Joyce of Provo with whom she shared a close and loving relationship; her nephew, Michael K. Nelson (Laurie) and their four sons, Brady, Eric, Ryan and Jeffrey, her nieces Laurie (Don) Stewart, and Lynn (Kelly) Mecham and their daughters, Amanda and Melissa, all of Bountiful. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. The family would like to thank Dr. Philip Roberts of Sandy and his two nurses, Mary and Laurel for their professional expertise and their long-time compassionate and loving care; all the staff of Canyon Breeze Senior Living in Orem for extending the love and care worthy of true saints and angels; and all at Alpine Hospice Care who cared so lovingly for Joan during the last weeks of her life. Nielson, Frances Bates Frances Bates Nielson 1922 ~ 2005 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Frances Bates Nielson, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2005. Fran was born in Malad, Idaho, Feb. 6, 1922 to Frank and Inez Vansleeter Bates. She graduated from South High, where she met and married Gayle Nielson in 1944, later divorced. She worked for Tracy - Collins Bank and retired from Utah State Tax Commission. Mom will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. Her greatest legacy however is the love she showered upon her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Thanks for loving us all so much, Mom. We will miss you but know your beautiful spirit will be with us always. She is survived by her sons, Dev (Vicky), Todd (Robilyn); grandchildren, Ryan (Jaimi) Nielson; Tyler, and Jennifer Nielson, Hallie (Matt) Barker, Ashley, and Cody Nielson; great-grandson, Boston Barker.; and her sister, June (Dick) Clawson. Prudence, David George "Hippy" David George Prudence HIPPY We're sad to tell of his passing February 14, 2005. He died in his sleep. He was born in Park City, Utah Nov. 17, 1948; his parents preceded him in death. Hippy, a Marine Veteran, served in combat from 1956 to 1969 in Vietnam. He was a wanderer, he liked to see what was over there; in the last 25 years he always came back to the love of his life, Gaylene Finch. The last time he came back to marry her and settle down in May of this year. George was a big bear of a man who cared about people. His favorite thing to do was feeding the pigeons in the park right by the sign saying not to. He has been at the VA Hospital for the last two years, where he made many friends who are saddened by his passing. There will be a memorial service Thursday March 10, in the Healing Garden, Veterans Hospital, Salt Lake. All friends come and say goodbye and wish him well on his final journey. Ellen Pearlese Barrett Richardson, 92, passed away March 1, 2005. Born July 11, 1912, the oldest twin of John T. and Louise Dahl Barrett, Ellen grew up on the family farm with her five brothers and two sisters, learning to milk cows at three. She attended Woodstock Elementary, was valedictorian of her Junior High, and graduated from Granite High School, where she was newspaper editor and yearbook staff member. She completed the two-year secretarial course at Henager's Business College in eight months, then started work at the Crop and Field Loan Office in Salt Lake, where she worked from 1932 to 1943. For eight years she played for the Heinz Drug professional softball team, losing only to one team. She loved swimming, hiking, and especially dancing. Ellen's brother, Taylor, introduced her to Harold Richardson, the brother of his wife. She married Harold on June 26, 1939. Establishing their home in Salt Lake, they had six children: Louise, Miami, FL; Harold (Hal), Jackson, WY; John, Salt Lake; Karen, Casa Grande, AZ; Jeanne, St. George, UT; and Faye, Zanzibar, Africa. Ellen, an alto, sang 14 years in the Tabernacle Choir, under the direction of her friend, J. Spencer Cornwall. She attended the McCune School of Music, where she studied conducting, voice, organ, and piano. She led music in all the auxiliaries of the LDS Church and also performed for recitals, oratorios, weddings, and funerals. Ellen served over 40 years in the LDS Young Women's organization and was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Later, Ellen went to work for Safeway in art layouts, advertising, and secretarial work. Then she transferred to the Utah State Health Department, retiring in 1972. Ellen and Harold loved their home at 1501 Spring Lane, built in 1882 and now on the State Historical Register and the National Register of Historic Places. The home was a showcase of their gardening and landscaping skills. Ellen, predeceased by Harold, is survived by three brothers, one sister, six children, 30 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Born Jan. 15, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Evan David and Elizabeth Hannah Griffiths Thomas. Married Jean Ranck in the Salt Lake Temple Sept. 17, 1946. Graduated from West High School. Active member of the LDS Church. He was a counselor in four bishoprics. After he retired from the Utah State Prison, he attended Jordan River Temple weekly. He was a member of the Ute Salt Shakers and Good Sam Club. He was actively involved in everything he did. Survived by his wife, Jean; son, Perry; daughters, Peggy (Russ) Hettinger, Bonnie (Clark) Labrum and Judy (Stephen) Ward; sister, Dorothy McClellan; fifteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, David; sisters, Violet, Mary Ethel, Winifred, Edith; and brothers, Tudor, Wilfred, LeRoy, Edwin, and Ralph. Thorup, Hope Darlene LePrey Hope Darlene LePrey Thorup 1925 ~ 2005 Hope Darlene LePrey Thorup passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2005 after a sudden illness. She was surrounded by her loved ones and died peacefully. Hope was born on August 31, 1925 in Salt Lake City, UT to Jack LePrey and Frieda Schone. She married Jack Lawrence Thorup July 29, 1944. Even though he preceded her in death in 1975, he continued to be the love of her life. Hope was a very active member of the F.O.E. Ladies Aux. She served many terms as their president and served as Madam State President in 1983. She spent many years raising funds to support their various charities, and always went the extra mile. She was also a member of the Murray Ladies Civic Guild. Mom was a wonderful cook and baker and always kept busy cooking for others. She will be remembered for her stamina and perseverance. Mom spoke strongly and freely. She was the center post of our family and had many friends. The strong will and determination she possessed will always be remembered. Our family traditions of going to Granny's house or Aunt Hopie's on Christmas Eve to sing-a-long the 12 Days of Christmas brought much joy to her and will always be cherished in our hearts. She is survived by three daughters, Jacklyn Aarts (Jerry) St. Lucie, FL, Janeal Baker (Richard) Salt Lake City, and Peggy Mulqueen (Robert) Sandy, UT; three loving sisters, Delores Walton, Duchesne, UT, Monte Canning (Boyd) Murray, and her much younger sister she raised as one of her own daughters, Patricia Richardson (Burley) Murray; five grandchildren, Nacole, Adam, Tameal, Nichelle and Natalie; two step-grandsons, David and Jason Mulqueen; three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Camille and Isabella; and many special nieces and nephews. Shirley was born Oct. 11, 1948 to Arthur Earl and Dorothy Norr Davies. She married David Wall in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. On Sept. 12, 1969. Shirley was educated in Murray, the University of Utah, and Utah Technical College. She received her nursing degree in 1969 and worked for LDS Hospital for over 20 years. She loved her work in the Newborn ICU. She loved the little children entrusted to her care. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions. Her love for the Savior was exemplified in the purity of her life and in her service to others. She loved serving in the Primary organization and was a faithful visiting teacher. The compassionate service she rendered during her years in the Relief Society touched the lives of many in the Winder Stake. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, David; children: Brent (Christie), Anne, Brad (Jodilyn), Benjamin (Emily), and Andrea (Jeffrey) Knapp; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alexander, Victoria, Jessica, Brandon, Caitlyn; parents: Earl and Dorothy; and her siblings: Roseanne, Lillian, Allen, Dianne, Paul, Marilyn, Maureen, and Janice. Warner, Larry Raymond Larry Raymond Warner 10/7/1944 ~ 03/2/2005 Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, all around good guy and protector, Larry Raymond Warner, left this earth to be reunited with his dearly missed father (Papa) and mother (Nana) on March 2nd, 2005. Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, October 7, 1944 to Robert and Sylvia Warner. A graduate of Granger High School, dad spent several years as a skilled sheet metal worker employed by CCI and then continued to pursue his main interest in law enforcement. He started in the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office Reserves, worked many years with the Granite Police Department and finished his law enforcement career as an officer with the South Salt Lake Police Department. He was a dedicated Police Officer and had an uncanny knack for being in the right place at the right time. He intervened and stopped numerous armed robberies saving lives. Dad never had a lot of money but was always generous with a joke, a smile and a helping hand to those who needed it. Dad loved children and had many interests and hobbies including fishing, antique automobile restoration, Harley Davidson motorcycles and treasure hunting. Dad will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his son, Joseph Scott Warner (Sonja, Alisha, Justin); granddaughter, Megan Lee Warner; brother, Robert Scott Warner (Genean); sisters, Shirley Ann Olsen, Donna W. Willoughby, Verna Mary (Hilden) Verna Mary (Hilden) Willoughby 1926 ~ 2005 Verna Mary (Hilden) Willoughby passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on March 1st 2005. Her husband; retired Salt Lake City Police Chief E.L. ("Bud") Willoughby who recently died during the Christmas holidays came to shepherd Verna to Heaven on their 53rd wedding anniversary. Verna was born March 7th, 1926 in Laurem, Michigan. A beloved wife and mother, Verna was a role model to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Never concerned about herself, Verna has always maintained a tremendous outlook on life continually focused on her family. A remarkable woman with an impeccable character, Verna's extraordinary demeanor and social grace has instilled lasting impressions in those that new her. As a wife and mother, Verna has provided the greatest gift any family could ever wish for, the gift of unconditional love. This love for her recently diseased husband "Bud", her children, grandchildren, family and friends will always be an element we hold closest to our hearts. Her poise and charm is deeply instilled in those who knew her and Verna's caring attitude and astonishing philosophy on life will be manifested in family members for generations to come. We love, honor and adore you mom, we will miss you greatly, and most of all, you will live in us forever. She was an excellent cook, loved to crochet and quilt. She was a loving mother, grandmother, was an active member of the LDS Church and a member of the DUP. Wright 1940 ~ 2005 Bruce John Wright passed away suddenly Thurs., March 3, in Sandy UT. He was born August 26, 1940 to Eugene and Lila Wright in Salt Lake City, Utah, the youngest of three brothers. He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1958. He served a successful mission for his church in Helsinki, Finland in 1960. He returned there in 1964 to marry Maria Andrejev, his life's companion and best friend. They moved to Salt Lake City where he finished his BA and MBA at the University of Utah in 1967. After working in executive positions with various companies, he truly found his vocation when he started public speaking and consulting for his own company, B. Wright and Associates. Lecturing and training, he formed many close working relationships and was known on every continent. Culling awards too numerous to mention, Bruce loved calling the world 'his back yard'. Home was still where he found the most joy, among his family and a few close friends. Along with his wife, he dedicated his time to his children and grandchildren as the beloved head of the family. He loved and collected music from around the world, and enjoyed Broadway plays and musicals. He loved sharing this experience with his family. When he wasn't busy being the life of the party, he set the stage so those around him could feel special. Always ready to lend a hand or a dollar Bruce embodied generosity. During his life he held many Church callings and enjoyed devoting his time to other people. He was survived by his wife Maria; sons Mark (Stephanie) and Michael (Shannon); grandchildren Alexander, James, Andrew, Johnathan, Katherine, and Benjamin; and brother David (Sherrill) and his nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Eugene (Ann) and infant sister Lela Ann. A viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary (1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy Utah) from 6-8 p.m. Sun.
