Barker, Michael W.
Michael W. Barker 1954 ~ 2005 Michael W Barker was born to George and LilaMae
Baker August 3, 1954. Our beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and
friend passed from this life unexpectedly March 10, 2005. Mike graduated from
Olympus High School after which he was stationed in Germany for two years
while proudly serving his country in the Armed Services. One of Mike's many
talented skills showed through his master finish carpentry work, which is
shown throughout the Salt Lake Valley as well as the Southern Utah area. Mike
loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest love was
for his wife, children, family and friends. Mike shared his sense of humor and
brought out the laughter in all of us. Mike married and later divorced, after
which he found his lasting happiness and forever partner, Angela Stephens. It
was September 24, 1999 that he and Angela shared their vows to one another. He
is survived by his loving wife; his devoted daughter, Savannah (LeAnn); and
daughters, Cecily, Tiffany; and his son, Donnie Ray. His loving mother,
LilaMae; three brothers, Scott (Chris), Dennis (Lyn), and Byron (Kelly); three
sisters, Judi (Doug) Durboraw, Sandra (Kyle) Mott, and Mindy (Steve) Cox. His
grandchildren, Anthony, Jerrica, Isabel, and Angelina, will also miss their
Papa. Mike had many children for which he had nurtured and who thought of Mike
as their own dad, Jason, Dustin, Damien, Ritchie, Jesse James, Destiny, Joel,
Randy, and Tony. His very best friend, Mark, as well as his many other friends
and family members will truly miss the admiration that Mike instilled in us
all. Listed below are just a few of us that love and adore Mike for the time
that he has spent here on earth with us, (in laws) mothers-in-law, Lynda and
Carol; brothers, Rob and (Tori) Ronnie, Justin and (Shani); and sisters,
Roxanna and (Rick), Dianne and (Robert) Monique; (girls) Brittany and (Mike);
grandparents, Geniel and Bill Stephens; as not to forget his forever friend,
LeAnn Hallock. He was preceded in death by his father, George; and
grandparents; and father-in-law, Larry Stephens; as well as two of his
brothers by marriage, Richard and Brent. It was Mike's wish to be cremated. A
memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, 1495 West Tamarack Road, Taylorsville, Tuesday March 15, 2005 at 2
p.m. where friends and family may call at a visitation one hour prior to the
services.

Bayas, Pando John
Pando John Bayas "Kooie" Pando John Bayas died unexpectedly March 10, 2005. He
was born in Istanbul, Turkey to John and Hermione Bayas. He grew up in the
Greek community there, and upon finishing school, worked at his family's
furniture factory. Later he moved to Switzerland, where he met Ellen Condas,
who was stationed at the U.S. consulate. They were married in 1963 and came to
America where he worked for Ajax Presses, owned and operated Pando's Place,
and later worked for Salt Lake City Corp. until his retirement. He was a
member of Athanasios Diakos and AHEPA. He loved traveling to Europe and Las
Vegas, and was fluent in Greek, French, Italian, and Turkish. He enjoyed
Italian Sports Cars and his weekend drives, Friday night poker and playing
Powerball. He loved watching soccer, especially his favorite team, PAOK of
Thessaloniki. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and especially loved
playing with his two-year-old grandson. He had a quick wit and a dry sense of
humor, which made everyone's day better. He is survived by his wife Ellen;
daughter Hermione (Jim) Klekas; son Nikolas; sister Eugenia (Sam) Bartzos of
Las Vegas; and grandson Nicholas Klekas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday
at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 279 South 300 West. A prayer
service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary,
372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Interment,
Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South. May his memory be eternal EONIA

Bond, Hal Dwaine
Hal Dwaine Bond 1931 ~ 2005 Hal Dwaine Bond, beloved husband and father died
Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the U of U Hospital of a basilar artery stroke.
Born May 20, 1931 in Kirtland, New Mexico to Ervin Karl and Mae Walker Bond,
both of whom preceded him in death. An active member of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hal married A. Elaine Wilde in the Salt Lake
Temple September 22, 1988. Father to LeAnn (Bob) Arganbright, Gary (Susan)
Bond, Shelli (Michael) Stathis, Tiffani (Kelly) Mullenaux, and Alicia (Sean)
McBride from a previous marriage to Marilyn Black; stepfather to Robert Rex
(Sachiko) Wilde, Mel-anie Ann (Scott) Conlin, and MeriLin (Jay) Steffey;
grandfather to Tyler, Tanner, Tarin, and Trever Bond, Chelsie Stathis,
Christopher, Ashley, Brett, and Katie Lynn Mullenaux, Jacob, Ainslee, Laural,
and Ethan McBride, Alex Wilde, Sam, Ben, Faith, Jacob, Charity, Joy, and Aaron
Conlin; Hal's siblings, Engman Bond (deceased), Verlee Shurtleff, Dale Bond,
and Twila Dean. He attended grade school in Kirtland, New Mexico before moving
to Shiprock, New Mexico where his father owned Bond & Bond Trading Post. He
graduated from West High in SLC, where he was a track star, and Brigham Young
University as an accountant, where he was on the Ballroom Dance Team, and was
declared BYU's most eligible bachelor. During the Korean War, Hal served in
the U.S. Navy, two years on the Aircraft Carrier USS Essex, where he received
recognition in over 400 national newspapers for his daring rescue of fighter
pilots who crashed landed, and two years at Moffat Field in California. Hal
served an LDS mission in the North Central States Mission. During his long
employment life, he worked in various firms, Boeing Aircraft Co. in Seattle,
Southwest Forrest Industries in Snowflake, AZ; North American Aviation, as
Budget Control Analyst on the Apollo Spacecraft and Launch Escape Programs;
TRW Systems in Redondo Beach, CA on the first spy satellite for NASA; owner of
a Stretch and Sew fabric store; owner of an income tax and accounting
practice; First Security Bank in SLC; Associated Title Co, SLC. Hal served in
the LDS Church as a Sunday School teacher, 1st councilor in the YM presidency,
councilor in several HP Groups, ward and stake financial clerk, stake auditor,
HP Group instructor, and Sacrament Meeting coordinator. Funeral Services will
be in the Tithing Hill Ward, 1208 W. 12400 S., Wednesday, Mar. 16, at 11 a.m.
Viewing at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, Tuesday, Mar. 15, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
and Wednesday at the church, from 9-10:30 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn
Memorial Park, South Valley.

Cox, Jay M.
Jay M. Cox 1918 ~ 2005 Jay M. Cox, age 86, died March 12, 2005. Born in SLC,
Utah August 7, 1918 a son of Henry E. and Martha Stringfellow Cox. Married
Marian C. Tuckfield July 6, 1942 in SLC; later solemnized in the Logan LDS
Temple. Educated in SLC schools, graduating from South High School. Attended
Utah State University. Entered the U.S. Army as one of the first 23 Utah
volunteers under the World War II Selective Service Act in November 1940.
Served over five years World War II duty with 2 1/2 years overseas duty in
England and Europe, leaving the service in early 1946 with the rank of
Captain. Served 23 years in the Army Reserve retiring in 1969 with the rank of
Lt. Col. Employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 28 years, retiring in 1974 as
Director of the Support Staff Division of the Western Slopes District. He was
a member of the LDS Church having held many leadership and teaching positions
during his lifetime. He took great pride in his family and enjoyed hunting and
fishing in his younger years. As a senior he turned his interests to
gardening, golf, and traveling, especially loving Hawaii. He was a member of
The Reserve Officers Assoc., The Retired Officers Assoc., The National
Association of Uniformed Services, The National Association of Retired
Employees, and former member of The Federal Executives Assoc. A near quote of
his was: "I suspect I won't make it to the top of the ladder with the elite,
but wherever I do land I expect I'll meet up with a host of great friends and
relatives." Preceded in death by his wife, Marian; and sister, Priscilla.
Survived by three sons, John (Cindy), Sandy, UT, Barney (Kathy), Highlands
Ranch, CO, Dennis (Terry), West Jordan, UT; eight grandchildren, six
great-grand-children; brother, Bryant (Deone) Plato, Missouri; sister, Carole
(Bob) Carter, both of Marysvale, UT. Graveside services will be held March 15,
2005 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends/family may visit Monday evening at
Wasatch Lawn from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Graveside
services will be held Tuesday, 11 am. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park

Daniels, Janice Kay
Janice Kay Daniels 1952 ~ 2005 Janice Kay Daniels, 53, passed away March 12,
2005, of complications from pneumonia and congestive heart failure. She was
born February 2, 1952 in Kanab, Utah to Sixtus E. and Darlene M. Daniels. She
is survived by her mother; brothers and sisters, Buddy E. Daniels of SLC,
Laural (Mark) Bowers, of Riverton, Kory R. Daniels, of SLC, and Staci (Kevin)
Blaine of West Jordan; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death
by her father; and brother, Kent Daniels. The family would like to thank all
of the medical personnel that took care of Janice over the past several months
and extend a special thanks to Wasatch Valley Rehabilitation Center for their
loving care and concern. Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 17,
2005, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Under the
direction of McDougal Funeral Home.

Gallegos, Joseph Dennis
Joseph Dennis Gallegos "Loving Father" Our beloved father, grandfather,
brother, uncle and friend, passed away March 11, 2005 surrounded by his family
at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Becky Gallegos. Born
November 9, 1943 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Manuel and Epimenia Trujillo
Gallegos. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a loving father and
grandfather. Dennis retired from Kennecott Copper Co. After many years of
service as a maintenance Electrician. He joined the US Army and served from
January 1961 - October, 1963, including a tour in West Germany. It seems as if
everybody in Bingham knew Dennis because he was so active and had a
personality you would not forget. He loved animals and always had a dog or
pigeons, or some animal pet. He leaves behind his special dog, "Killer". He
enjoyed fishing with his good friends and was an avid boxing fan. He supported
the Utah Utes and Notre Dame sports. He was a great baseball fan and loved
watching his sons and grandsons play. His family and many friends will miss
him dearly. He will never be forgotten. He married Judy Wheeler; later
divorced. Son, Jaime Gallegos Kingdon, was born to them. Married Lorraine
Griego; later divorced. Sons, Joe (Becky), Mark Gallegos and daughter, Alicia
Canavan, was born to them. His grandchildren were special to him; they are:
Nick, Monica, Jessica and Anthony. Also survived by brother, Carlos (Lilly),
and sister, Gloria (Leo) Martinez. He is preceded in death by his parents;
brothers, Roy and Albert; and granddaughter, Danyelle. Dennis was a special
man, may he rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. The family would like to
extend a special thanks to Rudy and the Hospice members for their care of our
father. Mass of The Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 16,
2005, 11:00 a.m. at the St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 West Lennox Street,
Midvale. A viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home,
4330 South Redwood Road where a Holy Rosary will be recited, 7:00 p.m.
Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.

Horkan, Richard Martin
Richard Martin Horkan "Dad" Our beloved dad and grandfather, passed away March
11, 2005 at his home, surrounded by his loving daughters, son-in-law, and
granddaughter, following a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. He was
born January 8, 1933 in Salt Lake City to John Joseph and Marie Louise Lessard
Horkan. Married the love of his life, Carol Lynn Jewell, August 29, 1952 in
Salt Lake City. She preceded him in death September 29, 1991. Dick was
employed by International Harvester and P.I.E. as a heavy duty mechanic for
more than 29 years. He also owned and operated Horkan's Garage in South Salt
Lake, where he could be found utilizing his great talent of fixing and
repairing anything. In recent years Dick spent all possible weekends traveling
to Cherry Creek, NV where he, along with his son-in-law, built a beautiful
cabin. He enjoyed many good times in the company of his Cherry Creek
neighbors. No one will soon forget "Dick on the Hill." Dick loved life and
lived every day to its fullest. He enjoyed having his large and loving family
near him. He especially enjoyed the holidays as it was another opportunity to
gather family and friends together. We will always remember Dad for his many
kind ways. Dad spent his entire life helping others. Survived by his five
daughters and one son, Wendy (George) Wilkinson, Robin (Perry) Guido, Leslie
Horkan, Cindy (Kevin) Dolar, Staci Simkins, (Dave), and James (Gail) Sorenson;
10 grandchildren; four great-grandchil-dren; three sisters, Mary, Betty, and
Katherine. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 2 p.m.
in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 So., where friends
may call one half hour prior to the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
Dick's family wishes to express a special thank you to Homer "Gondy" Gortat
for being a good friend and companion to Dad and for being part of our family.

Hunger, Olive Bernice Keach
Olive Bernice Keach Hunger 1917 ~ 2005 On a beautiful, crisp spring morning
Olive Bernice Keach Hunger devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and
great-grandmother passed away from us into the loving arms of her devoted
Henry (Sunday March 13). Olive was born in Salt Lake City June 30, 1917 to
Eckley Martin Keach of Salt Lake City and Erdie McCoy Keach of Oakley, Idaho.
Brothers to Olive include the late Patrick Delbert Keach of Manatue Springs,
Colorado and Lee Mack Keach of Greeleyville, South Carolina. Olive and her
beloved Henry were married in the Salt Lake Temple June 1, 1940. Olive and
Henry are survived by two sons, David H. Hunger and Darryl K. Hunger both of
Salt Lake City; granddaughters include Alisha H. Fontenot of Salt Lake City,
and Tianna H. McDonald of Elk Grove, California. Also surviving is a
great-grandson, Jesse Fontenot of Salt Lake City. Olive for years was the
personal secretary and office manager to the Salt Lake County Assessor. Olive
also worked for years at the McKay and Burton Law Firm and the Clayton
Forebrain law practice. For years Olive was actively involved in the
Democratic Sagebrush Club and served as its secretary. Olive ran for County
Recorder unsuccessfully, but loved being involved. For years after her
retirement she volunteered at the March of Dimes two days a week which she
thought made a difference in helping those in need. Family was utmost of
importance to Mom and to the very end was actively involved in family plans. A
viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive
Wednesday March 16 from 1-2:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow. In lieu of
flowers, please make donations to the March of Dimes in Olive's name.

Lujan, Margarita "Maggie"
Margarita "Maggie" Lujan "Together Again" Margarita Lujan, our beloved and
cherished mother, passed away on March 10, 2005, surrounded by her family. She
joins her husband, Guillermo (Willie) Lujan, who passed away on February 12,
2005. They had been married for 67 years. We believe, she died of a broken
heart. Maggie was born April 27, 1912 in Chacon, New Mexico to Federico Romero
and Matilde Gallegos. She married Guillermo Lujan on February 22, 1937. Mom
was a special person. At 4 ft. 10 in. and 85 lbs. she possessed the strength
and courage of a much larger person. She cared for our father in his last year
of life with no complaints of her own afflictions. Mom loved to be with her
family. Her favorite pastime was visiting with her sons, daughters and
grandchildren. Survived by her children, Willie Jr. (Jennie) of Coeur de
Alene, ID, Rose (Orlando) Pena of West Jordan, UT, Charlie (Carla) Lujan of
Holladay, UT, Emma (Billy) Maez of Magna, UT, Tina (Kevin) Hernandez of
Winnemucca, NV, and Robert (Robyn) Lujan of Sandy, UT; 19 grandchildren; 30
great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters; two sisters, Adela
Valdez of Denver, CO, and Lala Pando of West Jordan, UT; two brothers, Alfonso
Romero of Albuquerque, NM and Phil Romero of Taylorsville, UT. Preceded in
death by her husband, Willie; beloved son, Ernie; grandchildren, Billy and
Stacie Maez; brother, Amado Romero and sister, Celina Lovato. Funeral Mass
will be held Tuesday, March 15th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic
Church, 7405 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 5:30 to
7 p.m. followed by a Vigil at 7 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S.
Redwood Rd. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to
thank the caregivers at the Bennion Heritage Care Center and Care Source
Residence for their patience and loving care. Mom, we'll miss you and dad
immensely. We'll keep you both close to our hearts forever. Vaya con Dios.

Newman, William
William Newman 5/27/1930 ~ 3/10/2005 A great soul has just been taken home to
that God who gave him life. His name, William Albert Newman, son of Robert
Howell and Irene Esther Clark Newman. He cherished his wife, June, with a love
that knew no boundaries. He was a great father, loving, teaching, and guiding.
His children, Ronald T. Newman (deceased); Melody, wife of Dave Gonzales;
Paul, Husband of Kathy Poulson; Jeanine, wife of David Brown; Kenneth, husband
of Norma Griffin; and Bruce, companion of Jim Johnson. This great man served
his God and his fellowman all the days of his life. He loved his grandchildren
and great-grandchildren and teased them joyfully. That horrible monster,
cancer, has taken his life, but just for a moment. As he entered his Father's
presence, we are confident that we heard these words, "Well done, thou good
and faithful servant. Enter into my rest and sit down on my throne." We will
remember him with great love. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2005
at 11 a.m. in the Lehi North Stake Center, 2200 N 1200 E. Family and friends
may call Monday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and
Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment,
Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, Provo.

Parry, Ralph Turnbaugh
Ralph Turnbaugh Parry 1918 ~ 2005 Ralph Turnbaugh Parry, age 86, passed away
March 13, 2005, from causes incident to age. Born in Salt Lake City, son of
Ethel Turnbaugh Parry and Edwin F. Parry. He married Elna Ross Brough. They
had two daughters, Carol L. Meyer (Robert), and Rae Ann Parry Barrett (Michael
J.), who survive him. Also survived by seven grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and a sister, Emma Shingleton. Preceded in death by his
wife, Elna; and one great-grandchild. Ralph served in World War II and later
became a per-sonal transportation driver. As per Dad's request, graveside
services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 12 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens,
10600 South 1950 East where friends may call one hour prior.

Peterson, Betty Rhae
Betty Rhae Peterson Loving Wife and Mom God called a precious Angel home
today. Our wonderful wife, mom and grandma, Betty Peterson, returned to our
Lord to be reunited with her parents and siblings, March 11, 2005. She was
born September 27, 1931 in Roosevelt, Utah to James E. and Zora Peterson. She
married Leo Peterson November 12, 1955. Dad will miss you immeasurably. Betty
lived simply and loved her family. She leaves behind her loving husband and
caregiver, Leo; daughters, Judy Jimenez (Herb); Terry Ford Wanner (Alan),
Betty Jean Fox; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchil-dren; nieces and
nephews; one brother-in-law; and one sister-in-law. We will all miss her
smiling face and loving heart. She will be forever in our hearts until we meet
again. Services will be held Wednesday, March 16th, 11 a.m. at Redwood
Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening
from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the mortuary. We little knew
that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you
dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not
go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left
us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see
you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems
the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. We love
you, Mom!

Sickinger, Beverly Floretta Pullan Wignall
Beverly Floretta Pullan Wignall Sickinger 1927 ~ 2005 Beverly Floretta Pullan
Wignall Sickinger, age 77, passed away from congestive heart failure and renal
failure early Friday, March 11, 2005 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born in Salt
Lake City, Utah on June 6, 1927 to Gladys Griffiths Davies Pullan and William
Albert Pullan. Bev joined an older brother, Donald William Pullan. Later her
sister, Gladys LaVaun Pullan and her brother, Richard Henry Pullan were born
into the family. Bev attended McKinley Elementary School and graduated from
South High School. She also attended the Ogden LDS Institute and graduated
from the Institute program with her children and grandchildren in attendance.
Because Bev was such a great baseball player in her youth, she played baseball
with the boys instead of the girls. She loved roller skating. When Bev was in
the 2nd grade she was severely burned when her dress caught fire from a
sparkler. She spent months in bed not able to lie on her back. As a teen, Bev
worked as a waitress at the Doll House, although she was much younger than her
employer realized. Her teen years will filled with dating, movies, and
friends. Bev was very particular about her appearance. While she was in high
school she arose at 4:30 a.m. every morning to get ready for school and make
sure her hair and attire was perfect. Bev married Glenn Austin Wignall on May
16, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they had two children: Deborah
(Debbie) and Steven Glenn. The four had great family trips particularly to
Spokane, Washington then to Canada, as well as many fishing and boating trips
including Lake Powell. On most of these trips, the family was accompanied by
Bev's parents, Gladys, and Bill. Bev and Glenn enjoyed many NABAC Conventions
together since Glenn was Cashier and later Vice President of First Security
State Bank. Glenn passed away on March 12, 1967. Mountain Bell Telephone
Company employed Bev until her children were born. She later worked for
Continental Bank. On August 2, 1969 Bev married Ernest Harper Sickinger. They
were sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on August 2, 1983. With this marriage, Bev
added five step-children to her family: Jimmy, William, Sandra, Joan and
Grant. Ernie also had two step-children from his previous marriage: Trudy and
Rainelle which were also included in Bev's family. Bev and Ernie resided in
Clearfield, Utah for over thirty years. They traveled together to Arizona as
"snowbirds" and lived in Tower Point in their travel trailer. They
participated in Spanish clubs, parades and square dancing there. They were
members of the Teepee Tenders, El Dorado Club, and Sundowner travel groups and
had many enjoyable trips with these groups. For many years, Bev enjoyed tole
painting the wooden chests that Ernie made. Ernie passed away July 28, 2002.
Bev's pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She was definitely a
traveling Grandma as she traveled to California, Idaho, and locally to babysit
all of the grandchildren. She taught her granddaughter Taryn to tole paint;
played Nintendo proficiently with her grandsons, Brandon and Justin; held fun
sleepovers for granddaughters Jenekah and Jami and taught them to love old
Shirley Temple and Audrey Hepburn movies. She loved to go shopping with
Jenekah and Debbie. She took care of Jami every day until Jami was in high
school. Bev was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints and held many positions in Relief Society and primary. As homemaking
leader for many years, she helped the sisters of her ward complete beautiful
projects and holiday crafts for their homes and learn new skills. She also
arranged food storage classes and provided many hours of compassionate
service. Bev and Ernie also served as LDS Service Missionaries in the
Genealogical Department. She knew how to tole paint, knit, crochet, sew, cook,
needle punch and everything in between. She frequently blessed everyone's
lives with gifts from her heart. Bev is survived by her children: Deborah
(Terry) Preece of Farmington, Utah, Steven Glenn (Sharolyn) Wignall of West
Point, Utah; grand-children: Jenekah Preece, Brandon T. Preece, Taryn Preece,
Jami S. Wignall, and Justin G. Wignall; her brothers Don (Ruth) Pullan of Salt
Lake City, and Dick (Karen) Pullan of Las Vegas, Nevada, and sister LaVaun of
Salt Lake City, Utah; four step-children: Jim (Shawn) Sickinger of Boise,
Idaho, Bill (Shelley) Sickinger of Maui, Hawaii, Sandra (Sean-Michael) Kanally
of Melrose, Florida, Joan Drakos of Clearfield, Utah, Trudy Findlay of
Clearfield, Utah, and Rainelle Mikesell of Layton, Utah. She is also survived
by many step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husbands Glenn and Ernie and by her parents, Bill and Gladys,
step-son Grant Sickinger, step-granddaughter Lisa Sickinger. Bev's family
wishes to express their thanks and appreciation for the care their mother
received from the nurses and staff at Life Care Center of Bountiful. Funeral
services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 12 noon at Wasatch Lawn
Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2005
from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Clearfield Stake Center, 935 South State, and 1 hour
prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will be held at Wasatch Lawn
Memorial Park on Tuesday following the funeral.

Thomas, Freda Ellis (Hope)
Freda (Hope) Ellis Thomas 1936 ~ 2005 Freda (Hope) Ellis Thomas, has gone home
today to join her eternal husband. Born in Layton, Utah October 19, 1936 to be
later sealed with her husband, Kenneth C. Thomas. She was devoted solely to
her family, her husband, and home. Memorial services will be held at the
Magna, Pleasant Green Ward, 8739 West 3000 South, 10 a.m. Tuesday March 15,
2005. "Love Comforteth Like Sunshine After Rain"

Wettstein, LaRene
LaRene Wettstein 1925 ~ 2005 BOUNTIFUL - Florence LaRene Cummings Wettstein
peacefully passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the age of 79 in Bountiful,
returning to the arms of a loving Father in Heaven and her husband of 41
years. LaRene was born Dec. 14, 1925 in Midvale, Utah into a family of four
headed by William and Mary Cummings, as the youngest of two children. She soon
met her husband Glen L. Wettstein and together they were sealed in the Salt
Lake City temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Dec.
18, 1942. They brought four children into the world, Beverly Larson (Duane),
Sharon Stahle (Richard), Ann Fillerup (Lynn) and Bill Wettstein (Jaralee).
LaRene was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and her husband. She
faithfully served throughout her life in various LDS church callings and truly
enjoyed her time as both a Relief Society President and a Counselor. Funeral
services will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main in
Bountiful, Utah on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 1 p.m. Friends may call on
Tuesday, March 15 from 6 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday, March 16 from 12 - 12:45 p.m.
prior to the service. Interment will occur immediately following the funeral
services at Memorial Estates in Bountiful, Utah along Bountiful Blvd.
