Alvey Sr., Charles Howard          
Charles Howard Alvey Sr. (C. Howard) 1910 ~ 2005 Our dear father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, died peacefully on Sept. 11,
2005, with family at his side. Dad had just turned 95 on Saturday. Howard was
born in Escalante, Utah on September 10, 1910 to Thomas and Emily Porter
Alvey. He married his sweetheart, Scytha Solena Barney on July 2, 1931 in
Junction, Utah. They later were sealed for time and eternity in the Manti
Temple. Dad and mom were blessed with seven children; Leva (Wayne) Brierley,
Roy UT; Charles Jr. (Karla), Sandy; Barney (Shirley), West Jordan; James
(Judy), Albania Mission, Gay (Ivan) Hill, Vaughn (Kay) and Michael (Lexann),
all of Sandy. Dad was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Lena, his parents,
two brothers, three sisters and a daughter-in-law, Sharon. Dad is survived by
a posterity of 211, including 33 grandchildren, 96 great-grand-children and 26
great-great-grand-children and a brother-in-law, Vay Barney. Dad's life was a
sermon of selfless service, integrity, love and devotion. He was a gracious,
loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and friend. He was loved by all
who knew him. We will never forget his never ending stories, songs and poems
and especially his great sense of humor. Dad made his living as a carpenter
and a general contractor. He was a self-taught craftsman, taking great pride
in his work. Dad was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints. He held callings including serving as counselor to three bishops
before accepting a call as bishop himself. He was on the High Council and
served a building mission with his wife in Tarzana, CA where he constructed a
stake center. He and mom also served a name extraction mission, but, were best
remembered for his design of the addition and remodel to the Holladay Third
Ward. Dad had a great love for his family. His love, friendship, support and
example will remain in our hearts and continue to give us strength in our time
of need. He truly has left a great legacy. Funeral services will be held
Thursday, September 15, at 12 noon in the Sandy Crescent 24th Ward, 275 East
10600 South. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening 6 - 8 p.m. at Larkin
Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South and at the church Thursday
morning from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Our family wishes to
recognize the cooperation of all family members in caring for dad these past
few years. A special "Thanks" to Mike, Lexann and family who made dad welcome
in their home, caring endlessly for his needs. Also, thank you to the Rocky

Annarino II, Frank James           
Frank James Annarino II 11/26/74 ~ 9/10/05 Frank James Annarino II, age 30,
passed away Saturday, September 10, 2005, in West Jordan, Utah. Frank was born
November 26, 1974, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank James Sr. and Karen Marie Penske
Annarino. Married Michelle Lillywhite on August 11, 2000, in Salt Lake City,
Utah. Frank attended Skyline High School and the Salt Lake Community College.
He was employed by Wolper Construction Company. Frank loved the mountains,
snowboarding, snorkeling, and family vacations. He was the life of the party.
Frank loved his wife and sons more than anything. We love you and we'll miss
you. He is survived by he wife Michelle; two children, Conner and Tanner, West
Jordan, UT; mom, Karen Penske, Salt Lake, UT; father, Frank Annarino Sr.,
Toledo, OH; two sisters, Lindsey Anderson, Salt Lake, UT; Maggie Anderson, San
Marcos, CA; step-father, Richard Anderson, Kennewick, WA; father and
mother-in-law, Brent and Loni Lillywhite, Salt Lake, UT. Funeral services will
be held on Thursday September 15, 2005, 11a.m. at the Westland 8th Ward
Chapel, 7115 South 3200 West. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday
evening from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East
and at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to

Busha, William John           
William John Busha 1920 ~ 2005 Our beloved husband, father, grandfather died
peacefully September 11, 2005 with his family by his side. Born June 4, 1920
in Blue Island, Illinois to Paul and Sophie Busha. Married the love of his
life Genele Pack Busha. Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II. Member
of the LDS Church. His greatest loves were his wife, his children and
grandchildren. His only vice was his fond addiction to Chocolate! Survived by
his wife of 60 years, Genele; children, Loree Ann Lindsey, Shelly Fry,
Jennifer Curtis and Richard Bancroft; grandchildren, Dale Rowley, Joshua,
Lindsey, Jordon Fry, Wm. Justin Fry, Sasha Lindsey, Janae Fry, Katelyn Curtis,
Kennedy Curtis; brothers and sisters, twin sister Millie, Stephen Busha,
Stephanie Ernst, Milan Busha, Alvin Busha. Preceded in death by parents and
son, Gregory Paul Busha. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15,
2005 at 12:00 noon at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive where
friends and family may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. prior to

Clark, Dick Thompson          
Dick Thompson Clark Together Again Dick Thompson Clark passed away September
9, 2005, at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. It has been just short of
a year since mom left and he was eager to be with her again and start their
next 63 + years of adventures. Dad was born December 7, 1922, to William Henry
Jr. and Susie Thompson Clark at Trenton, Cache County, Utah. The family later
moved to Tyhee, Idaho, which is just 10 miles north of Pocatello, where they
started a concrete pipe and culvert company. Dad grew up pouring concrete,
however one of his major accomplishments was in music, specifically playing
the clarinet and saxophone. Dad played the clarinet throughout his time at
Pocatello High School, winning several contests and placing first in many
events. Dick was a member of the Pocatello Musicians Union for over 30 years.
For the last 35 years or so, dad has turned his considerable musical talent to
the electronic keyboards and played for many functions at Salton Sea City
(during the winter), but often just for the enjoyment for himself, mom, and
family. Dad married his high school sweetheart Dona Beth Cutler on August 15,
1941. When World War II began, dad joined the U.S. Marines and served as a
Bandsman and stretcher-bearer and was involved in the major military battles
in the South Pacific Islands at Guadalcanal, Guam, and Iwo Jima. Later, while
signed up for the Marine Corps Reserve, his Division was activated and dad
spent almost a year in the Korean War, this time as a Machine Gunner. With
dad, it was always "Semper Fidelis" and he was a U.S. Marine to the end. Dad
was in construction for many years in Southeast Idaho, both as a carpenter and
as an Owner /Contractor, starting out initially with Melvin Johnson to form
Clark and Johnson Construction, later moving on to just contracting on his
own. In the early 1950s, dad and mom started up a burial vault company and
furnished vaults and later headstones to many of the funeral homes and
mortuaries in Southern Idaho, finally selling out the company and becoming
"Vagabonds of the Road". After living in Pocatello for many years, mom and dad
purchased a fifth wheel trailer rig, took the high road and traveled the
United States for three years (being the "Vagabonds"), eventually settling in
Macks Inn (Island Park) Idaho during the summer and migrating to Salton Sea
City, California to become "Snowbirds" in the winter. The years spent at the
"Sea" and "Macks" were some of their most enjoyable. Dick is survived by his
son, D. Richard of Layton, Utah; his daughter Rochelle (Mike) Saville of South
Jordan, Utah; his daughter Rebecca (Becky) Stern of Coos Bay, Oregon; eight
grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children, and four great-great-grandchildren. A
special note of appreciation to Dick's granddaughter and constant caregiver
Hope Saville for the many weeks of dedication, love, and never-ending support.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. September 15, 2005 at Grace
Lutheran Church 9800 South 1815 East in Sandy, Utah. Friends and family may
attend a viewing Wednesday, September 14, 2005 from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. at Redwood
Memorial Park, 6500 South Redwood Road and one hour before the church service
on Thursday. Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South
Redwood Road.

Columbus, Ralph Peter "J.R."       
Ralph Columbus "J.R." Ralph Peter Columbus, 73, died on September 10, 2005,
from injuries sustained in a tragic auto pedestrian accident. He was born June
29, 1932, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ralph and Emma Costanzo Columbus. He
worked for many years at the Kenilworth Mine and later for Bruno's Caf . He
married Mariann Bohonowicz, June 28, 1986. She died February 20, 2001. He was
loved by everyone. J. R. is survived by his #1 son, Robbie Leslie; sisters,
Rosemarie Harmond and Elizabeth Trotman. The "Big Unc" had three loving
nephews and three loving nieces, eight grand nephews and one grand niece. Also
survived by his mother-in-law, Ella Bohonowicz and many wonderful cousins and
friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mariann, his
parents, and two brothers-in-law, Bob and Don. Funeral services will be held
Friday at 1 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South,
where friends may call one hour prior. Interment, Mt. Calvary Catholic
Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. "We love you, J. R."

Crawford, Norell "Jake"       
Norell Crawford "Jake" Our loving husband, dad, brother and grandfather passed
away September 11, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 13,
1924 in Grafton, Utah. Graduated from Ogden High School. He served in the Navy
in World War II and the Korean War. Married June Brady December 10, 1970;
later sealed in the Jordan River Temple February 22, 1986. Retired from
Wheeler Machinery after 36 years. Was a worker in the Jordan River Temple and
served in the bishopric. Dad loved hunting and was well known for his
barbecues. Survived by his wife, June, who loves him deeply; daughter, Linda
(Kenny), Salt Lake; sons: Brent (Maurine), Salt Lake; James, California;
grandchildren: Trudi, Frederick (Rebekka), Salt Lake; Erik (Cindy) Montana;
and Ben; four sisters and spouses. Preceded in death by parents and daughter,
Pam. The family would like to thank the VA Hospital for their excellent care.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at
Valley View Memorial Park. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 14,
2005, 6-7:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.

Crook, Curtis Foster          
Curtis Foster Crook 1929 ~ 2005 HEBER CITY, UT--Curtis Foster Crook graced
this world with his presence for 75 years. He made his entrance on December
17, 1929, in Lake Creek, Utah, to Chase Nicol and Lila Allison Crook. He left
this life on Sunday, September 11, 2005, in Heber City. Curtis grew up in Lake
Creek tending to cows and sheep and fostering a great love for the mountains
that surrounded him. He was called to serve his country during the Korean War,
serving in the US Navy, where he met his eternal sweetheart, Anna Mei Cruz.
They were married on January 16, 1953, and that love was later solemnized in
the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved back to Utah where he and Anna spent
their time raising a family, serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, and Curtis prospecting in the hills he loved so much. He
leaves behind his wife, Anna of Heber City; five children: Pat (John) Cordero
of Monte Vista, CO, Jeff, Chet (Lori), Stan Crook all of Heber City, Andrea
(Jeff) Peterson of Casper, WY; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren;
brother, Russell Crook of Kanosh; two sisters: Lorraine Jones of Heber City,
and Marva Webster of Oceanside, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents,
three brothers, one granddaughter and one grandson. In lieu of flowers the
family requests donations to your favorite charity. A Celebration of Curtis'
life will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2005 - 10:00 A.M. in the Lake
Creek LDS 2nd Ward, 1365 East Center Street, Heber City. Arrangements are in
the care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, Heber City. We will greatly miss his

Donehoo, Don C.          
Don C. Donehoo 1947 ~ 2005 Don C. Donehoo, 57 passed away in Salt Lake City
Sept. 10, 2005, of complications from Heart Disease. He was born to Don C.
Donehoo Sr. and Zelda (Margeret) Bruner in Marion Ohio, September 11, 1947. He
is preceded in death by his mother Zelda Donehoo and sister Sheryl Donehoo. He
is survived by his father, Don C. Donehoo Sr., Wife Heather Donehoo, Son Cole
Donehoo, Daughters Angie Wingert (Buz), Tracey Langston (Jeremy), Brother's
Mike Donehoo (Amy), Pat Donehoo (Lori), Grandsons Quin, Cameron and Ian.
Parents in law David and Dorothy Anderson, Nieces and Nephews. Don attended
Weber High School and Weber State University. He served with the U.S. Air
Force in Vietnam. He was employed at Bountiful Lincoln Mercury and has had a
successful career over many years in the automobile industry. Don loved taking
rides on his motorcycle, boating and traveling to new places. Don lived with
enthusiasm and always saw the positive in every situation. He loved to laugh
and make others laugh. He loved to win no matter what the game was. Don
touched many lives and none of us will ever be the same without him. Funeral
Services will be Thursday, September 15, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial

Evans, Joshua Dale       
Joshua Dale Evans 1974 ~ 2005 Joshua Dale Evans, our loving son, grandson,
husband, father, brother, nephew, and uncle, died September 7, 2005. Joshua
was born in Salt Lake City on October 11, 1974. He married Kim Fermo Evans,
his first love in December of 1995. Kim is the loving mother of their three
sons Cole, Conner and Chandler who were the light of his life. He was an
active and devoted father. In May of 2004 Joshua married Emily Wilkin Evans
and said he was the happiest he had ever been. Josh had an infectious smile
and a quiet charm and charisma that drew people to him. He had a quick mind
and was good at anything he put his mind to. He enjoyed playing golf with
Emily and his boys. He was a fan of soccer, basketball and football,
especially the Dallas Cowboys. He loved fishing and the outdoors and most
recently revealed a great artistic talent as a painter. Josh Worked with his
granddad in 1986 and went on to establish in 1996 WE Corp Key Quality Roofing
with granddad as President and Joshua as Vice President. He will be profoundly
missed by those who survive him: wife Emily Wilkin Evans; sons Cole, Conner
and Chandler; parents Scott Smith and Rick and Cindy Clift; brothers Tyson and
Carson Clift and Jake and Nick Smith; sisters Kallie Clift-Peterson and
Madeline and McCayla Smith; grandparents Dale and Lucille Evans; aunts Vicki
Davey, Linda Mortensen, Karen Sorrels, and Mary Vasey and uncle Paul Evans.
The family will receive visitors on Wed. Sept. 14th from 6 - 8 p.m. at Wasatch
Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. where Funeral services will be held on
Thursday at 2 p.m.

Johnson, Heidi           
Heidi Johnson 10/29/66~9/9/2005 Heidi Leah Johnson, 38, beloved wife and
mother, died Friday, September 9, 2005, of injuries suffered in a
car-pedestrian accident. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13,
2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel 3429 East Ustick
Road off Eagle Road in Meridian. Heidi was born in Moscow, Idaho, to Greg
Munther, Missoula, Montana, and Bobbi Larsen, Idaho Falls. She graduated from
Skyline High School in 1984 and finished school at Idaho State University in
1988 with a degree in marketing. She was employed as a pharmaceutical
representative for Johnson & Johnson at the time of her death. She met and
married Mark Lloyd Johnson in 1992 and they recently celebrated their 13th
wedding anniversary. She is survived by her husband Mark and their three
children, Nicolas 12, Tanner 9 and Erika 8, her parents and her half-sister
Melanie Munther of Missoula, MT. Heidi was the consummate mother, devoting
countless hours to her children's sports and club activities. She reminded
them every day to "Be the best you can be!" Her home was the activity center
of the neighborhood. She also enjoyed physical activities and Bible studies.
Those who were fortunate to know her will always remember her warmth,
generosity and love of her friends and family. Heidi had a dazzling smile and
an infectious personality that will live on with those she left behind. She
was a bright light and inspiration to everyone. You may have left our lives,
H., but not our hearts. We luv ya! In lieu of flowers, the family requests
that those who wish to do so may make donations at any Wells Fargo Bank to the
Heidi Johnson Memorial Children's Scholarship Fund established by Johnson &
Johnson for the benefit of her children.

Jones, Opal Swallow           
Opal Swallow Jones "Eternal Companions" Opal Swallow Jones, age 88, peacefully
passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2005. The oldest of five children, Opal
was born December 21, 1916 in Meadow, Utah to Thomas Charles Swallow and Vanda
Duncan. Married her beloved husband of 53 years, A. Lynn Jones, November 28,
1938 in Salt Lake City, later solemnized in the Manti Temple July 12, 1963.
Her generosity and love knew no bounds. Her sweet spirit will be dearly missed
by all who knew her. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, Opal served with unwavering faith and a heart full of charity. Most
notable was her service in the Primary, serving eight years as Primary
President followed by eight years as Stake Primary President and many more
years as a teacher, dedicated visiting teacher, and Relief Society President.
She and Lynn served in the Massachusetts Boston Mission 1983-84. Prior to her
mission, she worked as the manager of the Books and Stationary Department at
ZCMI Cottonwood. Opal's greatest mission however, and her life's work was her
family. Always placing her family first, she devoted her life to her children
and her beloved husband. Few couples ever know the bond of love and deep
devotion that Opal and Lynn had for each other. Surely it was a glorious
reunion. Opal is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Thera
Ross; and brother, Chad Swallow. She is survived by her brother, Grover
(Brookie) Swallow; sister, Shirley Gotchy; sister-in-law, Norma Swallow;
children, Gordon (Sharron) Jones, Murray, Utah; Mark (Karen) Jones, Murray,
Utah; Janice (Larry) Pehrson, Sandy, Utah; Fred (Linda) Jones, Holladay, Utah;
21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2005 at
Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends and family may
call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Friday. Interment
Murray City Cemetery.

Robert Raymond Kersten, Sr. "Bob" Robert "Bob" Raymond Kersten Sr., 59, passed
away Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Kersten was born Dec. 10,
1945, in Chicago, IL. He was a retired union carpenter and a member of the
Southwest California Carpenter's Local 2361. He was preceded in death by his
father, Ray Kersten. He is survived by his wife, Iris D. Powell-Kersten; his
mother, Lorraine Aufeldt; his first wife, Karen Salle; three sons, Robert Jr.
of Long Beach, CA; Ronnie of Riverside, CA; Ryan and wife Jennifer of
Riverside, CA; one daughter, Rochelle of Riverside, CA and numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation by Advantage Funeral &

Kurumada, Helen          
Helen Kurumada 1917 ~ 2005 Passed away in her sleep September 6, 2005. Born
May 17, 1917, Helen Gim spent her first 13 years in Mackey, Idaho, the
daughter of Y. Henry and Louise Gim. She moved to Utah after the death of her
father and lived and worked in Salt Lake City. She was active in the League of
Women Voters, the Utah Democratic Party, and various progressive causes. She
was the first Chairperson of the Asian Association of Utah. She was an active
member of the First Unitarian Church and participated in activities in the
Utah's Japanese and Chinese communities. Helen was a creative and skillful
cook and taught her sons her craft. Many great memories are centered around an
exceptional dinner table at her "Restaurant 4174." She is survived by her
husband, Jun Kurumada; her sons, Kim, Kevin, Dennis, and Craig Kurumada;
daughters-in-law, Sherrie, Jean, Becky, and Linnea; brothers, Wever and Ben
Gim; sister, Betty Gim; numerous nephews and nieces; grandchildren, Kasey,
Chris, Sam, Colten; and great-grand-child, Tanner. Services are set for
Tuesday, September 13, 2005, 2 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church, 569 South
1300 East.

LeHuquet, Robert         
Robert LeHuquet 1925 ~ 2005 Bob passed away on September 9, 2005 at the age of
80 surrounded by his family. Bob was born on September 2, 1925 in Corning, New
York to Clifford and Bertha LeHuquet. Bob married Erma Lowther on June 2,
1946. He also served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. Bob loved
outdoor activities, his favorite was fishing. He also enjoyed reading.
Survived by his son Robert, and daughter Barbara Burnham, three grandchildren,
two great-grand children and one great-great-grandchild. We will always love
you Dad, we will miss you Bob and Barb. Memorial Service will be held on
September 16, 2005 at 12:00 pm at the Holladay 8th ward, 5450 South Holladay
Boulevard.

Munding, Frank Milton         
Frank Milton Munding 1925 ~ 2005 Frank Milton Munding, age 79, passed away at
the home of his daughter in Hayden, Idaho, August 15, 2005, of kidney failure.
He was born in Glendale, CA, Dec. 30, 1925, to Leo and Alvina Munding. They
returned to Salt Lake City shortly after his birth where he lived most of his
life. He attended West High School and served his country for two years during
World War II in Honolulu. He returned to Salt Lake and became a licensed
plumber and pipe fitter. He was a member of the P & S Union, local #19. He
worked on many projects in Iowa, Massachusetts, and Kennecott Copper. He
married Jean Tuttle in 1953, later divorced. He leaves behind his children and
their spouses, Judy and John Wittenmeyer, Janet and Dennis Reese, Donald and
Wanda Munding; his eight grandchildren and two great-grand-children. Frank is
preceded in death by his loving companion of 28 years, Anne Mackey. Many
thanks to his children and Anne's family for the years of love and care given
to him. He loved to tease and interact with the many nieces and nephews,
especially the young ones. He enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery, but most
of all he loved sitting or tinkering in his garage with his tools, cars,
motorcycles or whatever there was to fix and he didn't leave a project until
it was done right. He will be truly missed by all of us for his kind and
loving spirit, his jokes and humor and caring for us. Memorial contributions

Neil, Travis Randall          
Travis Neil 1976 ~ 2005 Travis Randall Neil, 29 of Pleasant Grove, Utah
formerly of Lehi, died September 9, 2005 in Tooele County. He was born August
6, 1976 in American Fork, Utah, son of Dennis K. and Layna Despain Neil. He
married Christina Lynn Beck, Sept. 26, 2004 in Reno, Nevada. Travis worked
full time for the Utah Army National Guard. He had formerly been in the Marine
Corp. and had recently served in Iraq. He loved football, baseball, especially
the Chicago Cubs, sports, hunting, fishing, camping, and all outdoor
activities. Survived by his wife, Christina of Pleasant Grove; step-sons,
Evan, Dakota and Wayd Young; father, Dennis Neil, American Fork; mother, Layna
Neil, Lehi; grandparents, Evelyn Neil, American Fork; Marlene Kent, Colorado;
brother, Skyler Neil, Lehi; sisters, Vicki Neil and Latisha Neil Griffes, both
of American Fork; Denna Neil Williams, Highland; Nicale and Valentine, both of
Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held
Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi Bull River Ward Chapel at
2600 No. 700 W., Lehi. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6-8
p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and at the Church Thursday one

O'Driscoll, Agnes        
Agnes O'Driscoll 1917 ~ 2005 KAMAS - Agnes C. O'Driscoll, age 87, passed away
at her home September 10, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. She was born
October 5, 1917 in Panguitch, Utah the daughter of Zera Pulsipher and Susan B.
(Hutchings) Church. On May 27, 1937 she married Howard B. "Pat" O'Driscoll in
Panguitch, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple May 27,
1947. They lived many years in Kamas, Utah. Following retirement they moved to
Overton, Nevada where they spent 10 years before returning to Kamas. She was a
member of the LDS Church and served faithfully as a Primary teacher, a
visiting teacher and a missionary to Canada with her husband. She was a member
of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and she and her husband enjoyed being
in the Kamas Riding Club. She loved oil painting, and crafts including
quilting, crochet, and embroidery. She also enjoyed writing poetry and
spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband,
Pat, Kamas, Utah; son, Robie Howard O'Driscoll, Wallsburg, Utah; and
daughters, Patricia Kay Evans, Taylorsville, UT, Jolene Moon, Woodland, UT,
and Rebecca Schell, Las Vegas, NV; sister, Susanne Morley, Salt Lake City, UT;
12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her
parents, five brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter; and a daughter-in-law.
Funeral service will be 11 am. Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in the Kamas LDS
Ward chapel. Friends may call at the church Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and
Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Francis
Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.

Thora Julia Pearson Proctor Panguitch, Utah Thora Julia Pearson Proctor, 88,
of Panguitch, Utah, peacefully left her earthly realm and rejoined her
heavenly family, September 10, 2005. She was born April 15, 1917, in
Circleville, Utah, to Joseph Henry and Nora Buchanan Pearson. She leaves
behind George W. Proctor, 93, her companion of 67 years. She is survived by
her children, Connie Whiting, Clearfield; Colleen (Hyrum) Barlow, West Jordan;
Ronald G. (Julie Ann) Proctor, Cedar City; and James J. (LuWaine) Proctor,
Orem; leaving a legacy of a wonderful family of, 32 grandchildren, 97
great-grand children and 2 great, great grandchildren; sister, Adaline
McDonald, New Harmony; sister-in-law, Sybil Blakeley, Circleville. Funeral

Lee Ravsten 9/7/27 ~ 9/11/05 Lee Ravsten, 78, passed away September 11, 2005
at the VA Regional Medical Center. He was born in Clarkston, Utah, September
7, 1927 to Bennie and Clara Emilia Christensen Ravsten. Married Elaine
Anderson Ravsten of Garland, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Idaho
Falls LDS Temple. Lee was an active member of the LDS Church and held many
church callings. He especially enjoyed temple work. Lee served in the Navy
during World War II. He loved the outdoors and outdoor activities. He enjoyed
being with his family and friends. We will miss you Lee. Survived by his wife;
sister-in-law, Jeanne Ravsten, Smithfield and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and six sisters. Graveside
services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Clarkston

Reynolds, Adrian Kenneth "AK"           
Adrian Kenneth "AK" Reynolds 1929 ~ 2005 Adrian "AK" Reynolds, age 75, of
Dutch John, UT passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2005 due to
complications from a stroke. AK was born December 28, 1929 to Adrian W. and
Helen L. Reynolds in Sheridan, WY. Married Ellen B. Rieske on March 25, 1954.
AK owned and operated the Red Canyon Lodge at Greens Lakes in the Flaming
Gorge area for 32 years. Survived by wife, Ellen, son Bret (Laurie) and
daughters Tamara (Larry) Twitchell and Carolyn (Guy) Buckner, five grandkids,
one great-grandkid and two sisters. Preceded in death by parents, one brother
and one infant son, Brent. Funeral services to be held on Wednesday, September
14, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary in Vernal, UT.

Rupp, Florence M.        
Florence M. Rupp 1921 ~ 2005 Florence Minnie May Rupp, returned to her loving
Heavenly Father on Sept 9, 2005. Florence was born in Grantsville, UT on April
28, 1921. She was the third child of Vigo Harold May and Mae Elizabeth Severe
May. She married George Surman Rupp on Feb 20, 1941. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. They were the proud parents of seven
sons. Florence was very proud of her family heritage. She would love us to
mention that her great-great-grand-father, Harrison Severe was one of the
founders of Grantsville. Florence is survived by her sons, Larry Rupp
(Bonnie), Joseph Rupp (Marsha), Paul Rupp (Becky), and Glade Rupp (Melody).
Her surviving brothers, Randall May, Marlo May (Sharlene), and sister Vonda
Angel. She also has 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Florence was
preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Farrel May, and three sons,
Robert Dale Rupp, Kenneth Kay Rupp, Noel Brent Rupp. Services will be held on
Sept 14, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the LDS Church located at 415 W. Apple St.
Grantsville, UT. Friends may call prior to services from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Grantsville City Cemetery.

Stevens, Lola Mae Richardson       
Lola Mae Richardson Stevens 1933 ~ 2005 KAYSVILLE - Lola Stevens, age 71,
loving wife of 52 years, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister passed away
Saturday, September 10, 2005. She was born on December 23, 1933 in Klickitat,
Washington, to Lester Richardson and Anna Elizabeth Laird. Lola was reared and
educated in Washington. She has also lived in Oregon, Alaska, Arizona, and
Utah. Lola met Glenn Stevens while living in Washington and they were married
on December 26, 1953 in Goldendale, Washington and their marriage was later
solemnized in the Logan Temple. They had four children, Shannon, Cindy, David,
and Lanae. Lola was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in many
callings in the Primary, Young Women's organization, and Relief Society.
Formerly a member of the North Pointe LDS Ward in Mesa, Arizona. She worked
for two years as a temple worker in the Mesa Temple. She loved reading and
writing poetry. Lola is survived by her husband, Glenn; daughter, Shannon
(Greg) Wright of Bakersfield, California; son, David (Megan) Stevens of
Kaysville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Lorraine
Mitchell of Salt Lake City and sisters-in-law Edra Richardson and Gail
Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters Cindy and
Lanae, and two brothers Wendell and Duane Richardson. Funeral services will be
held Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Brookhaven Chapel, 190 N.
Country Lane (200 North 1100 East). Friends and family may call Wednesday from

Robert Richard Thompson Jr. 2/10/44 ~ 9/11/05 GONE FISHING Our loving husband,
father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, son, uncle and friend, returned to
his Heavenly Father on September 11, 2005, surrounded by his family, after a
victorious battle with ALS. He was born February 10, 1944 in Salt Lake City to
Robert Richard and Ruth Trejo Thompson. He married DiAnn Rose Kelson on March
11, 1964 who he loved dearly. With their love they created a world of joy and
happiness. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his
wife, DiAnn; mother, Ruth; children, Melissa (Karl), Margo (Dave), Mark
(Addy), Melanie (Rodney) Morris (Angie); brother, Mickey and sister, Sonya. He
cherished his 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in
death by his beloved daughter, Melinda; father, Robert; sister, Nancy; father
and mother-in-law, Arvel and Velma Kelson. Funeral services will be held
Wednesday, September 14th, 2:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S.

Doyle S. Topham 12/21/19 ~ 9/10/05 Doyle Stevens Topham, age 85, passed away
Sept 10, 2005 in Delta. Born on Dec 21, 1919 in Paragonah to Joseph Ernest and
Bertha Stevens Topham. Spent his early years helping his father on his farm in
Paragonah. Oldest of four children. Attended college in Cedar City for two
years. Married Pearl Baker on Sept 4, 1941 in Manti LDS Temple. Served as
Sergeant in World War II. Doyle "Top" worked in restaurant business for 45
years. Former owner of Top's City Caf  in Delta for over 20 years. Active
member in Junior Chamber of Commerce, American Legion, and Kiwanis. Owned and
enjoyed horses most of his life. Active member of LDS Church. In later years,
enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, and his grandchildren. Spent 64 years with
his wife Pearl. Loving husband and father and will be missed greatly by his
wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. Survived
by wife: Pearl, Delta; children: Doyle B. (Ranetta) Topham, South Jordan;
Sharen Westmoreland, Delta; Peggy Topham, Delta; Denise Bunyard, Grantsville;
Joe (Carlee) Topham, Delta; Tim (Sandra) Topham, Delta. 19 grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren; sister: Marie Berrie, Kearns; brothers: Ivan Topham,
Washington, UT; Lanell (Ellen) Topham, Modesto, CA; sister-in-law: Nadine

Michael Dee Walters 1940 ~ 2005 Michael Dee Walters died September 3, 2005
from AIDS. He was born November 23, 1940 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Earl Dee and
Melba H. Walters. Michael is survived by his sister, Margo McDonald (George);
his niece Mollie McDonald (Eric Jensen); and his nephew, Michael McDonald.
Michael was an amazing and creative interior designer. His popular designs
included Gastronomy Restaurants, the most recent being the Market Street Grill
at Cottonwood. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 14th
at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 East South Temple, Salt
Lake City. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Utah AIDS
Foundation, 1403 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84105. Michael's family

Williamson, Gayle Gilbert          
Gayle Gilbert Williamson 1944 ~ 2005 Gayle Gilbert Williamson passed away
peacefully at home on September 10, 2005 after an eighteen year battle with
breast cancer: Born in Oakland, California to Owen and Dorothy Cole Gilbert,
she moved to Salt Lake City with her family in 1954. In 1966, she married
Michael Williamson. A year later, she graduated from the University of Utah
College of Nursing. In 1981, she and her husband divorced. She is survived by
her mother, Dorothy Gilbert; her daughter, Page Williamson Quintana (Deleone);
her son, Charles "Chuck" Williamson (Amie); and her brother-in-law, William M.
Browning. She also leaves behind her puppies, Sammie and Hannah. Her father,
Owen Gilbert, and her sister, Diane Gilbert Browning, preceded her in death.
Gayle greatly appreciated the medical care that brought her many years of
quality time, during which she was able to see both her son and daughter
graduate from college and she was able to attend both of their weddings. She
especially was grateful to Hugh Hogle, Anna Beck, Mary Jane Norman, and the
doctors and staff of the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the nurses and staff of
Lifepath Hospice. For many years, Gayle enjoyed working with the Salt Lake
Valley Health Department Communicable Disease Bureau. She loved her co-workers
and gave thanks to them and her friends for their support for so many years.
