Silver Wedding-- Brother Edward Stevenson and his
wife Elizabeth, of the 14th Ward, last evening
celebrated their silver wedding, that is, the
twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage day.
A goodly assemblage of friends and relatives met
at the residence of the worthy couple and all
had a splendid time. The feast was truly elegant,
and in fact, the entire occasion was a grand
success. Among the things deserving of remark,
is that Sister Stevenson wore her original 
wedding dress, a beautiful robe, 25 years old.
