St. Paul's chapel was the scene of the ceremony, and the church had been beautifully decorated for the occasion. The chancel was filled with palmsand the railing and altar were twined with pink carnations. Ferns and carnations were also used in the choir loft. The seats reserved for the bride's most intimate friends and the bridal party were marked with streamers of white satin ribbon. Promptly at high noon the party entered the church door and passed up the main aisle while the strains of the wedding march pealed through the church. First came Mr. Cleaver and Mr. Richardson, then the bridesmaids, Lucile and Ethelyn Rives, the maid of honor, Miss Colton, followed by the bride and her father. They were met at the chancel by Dr. Dalby and his best man, Dr. Harrison, and the ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Bishop. The bride's gown was white organdy over white silk, and her long tulle veil fell to the long train of her dress. She carried a large bouquet of brides's roses. Miss Clara Colton was also in white organdy, with trimmings of Valenciennes lace. The two little bridesmaids wore white swiss over pink silk and carried huge bouquets of pink carnations. After the ceremony the bridal party went at once to the home of Mrs. J. T. Gilmer, where an elaborate luncheon was given. Dr. and Mrs. Dalby left last night for a three months' trip through the East. Dr. Dalby is one of the best-known physicians in Salt Lake. For several years he was division surgeon of the Union Pacific of Salt Lake, having resigned the place at the time of the segregation of the Short Line system. He is a prominent Mason and has been grand master of the order for the jurisdiction of Utah. He was also Health Commissioner of Salt Lake for three years. Miss Rives is the beautiful daughter of Judge Henry Rives who is counsel for De La Mar's mines. Judge Rives was for several terms on the bench in Nevada before becoming associated with Capt. De La Mar, when he removed with his family to this city.
