She was born in Mapleton, Utah, on February 21, 1942, to George and Helen Ostler Wing. She married Lavar R. Bryson, and they later divorced. She is survived by her daughter, Cheri, of Levan; son, Chad (Kandus) Bryson, of Mona; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Betty L. Atkinson, of American Fork; brothers: Richard (Betty) Wing, of Price; Lynn (Janet) Wing, of Provo; and Jay Wing, of Provo. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her brothers: Jack, Bob, Fred, and Wayne. Mom, you will be in our hearts forever. You will be greatly missed! He was born October 22, 1931, to Verenus Joseph Carter and Jessie Ellen Welsh. He married Emily "Tiny" Virginia Potter on July 20, 1956. They had four children, and were later divorced. Glen learned to fly at the family airport and carried his love of aviation into a long career as an air traffic controller. Later, he worked for the Salt Lake City Police. Glen was a talented singer, guitarist, and banjo player. He is survived by his children and grandchildren: Jeff (Karen) Carter and children: Stephanie, Danielle, Christine, Benton, and Alyson; Tina (Bret) Houskeeper and children: Jaime, and Nicole; Brad (Shauna) Carter and children: Jacob and Sydney; and Tanya (Monte) Lyon; sisters: Carol (Ronald) Harris, Ellen Jackson, Hazel Kremer, Jan (Gary) Lyman, Mary VanWagoner, and Lorraine Robinson; brothers: Gary (Linda) Carter, Ray (Barbara) Carter; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, a niece, and a nephew. The family would like to thank all those who helped to care for Glen these past 18 years, and to express our deepest appreciation to his sister, Carol. Peay, Jerry Dean Jerry Dean Peay, beloved father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on December 18, 2004, at the age of 39. He was born June 30, 1965, in San Diego, California, to Robert Ellis and Janice Peters Peay. Jerry was raised in Provo, Utah, and his childhood was filled with love, fun, work, and horses. Jerry was a very hard worker, and was dedicated to all he did. At age 14, he received his Eagle, and at age 16, he won the National Champion Equitation Rider at the US Arabian Horse Nationals. Jerry loved his family and spent many years traveling with them showing Arabian Horses. Jerry graduated from Timpview High School in 1983. He faithfully served an LDS Mission in Melbourne Australia, where he was able to serve and work for the Australian people. He graduated from Dixie and Westminster Colleges with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Native American Studies. Jerry was looking forward to graduating from real estate school on January 4th. Jerry worked for the family business for many years, and enjoyed the time spent working with his dad, brothers, and good friend, Ted Mills. Jerry had two beautiful twin children, Dakota and McKenna, age 10, whom he loved and adored more than life. He was very proud of their many talents and accomplishments. He looked forward to the special times they shared together, taking trips, getting ice cream, and playing games together. He is survived by his mother, Janice Peay, of Provo; his children, Dakota and McKenna Peay; his brothers: Craig (Andree) Peay; Mark (Lisa) Peay; and sister, Mindy (Josh) Arnold; Jerry was also surrounded in life, and leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at Noon, at the Edgemont 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 4000 North 650 East, Provo. Phillips, Lucille Brereton Lucille Brereton Phillips, 83, of Provo, died December 18, 2004, peacefully at her home. Lucille was born on March 31, 1921, in the Pleasant View/Edgemont area of Provo, Utah, to John Austin Brereton and Sarah Jane Cook. She attended schools in Edgemont. She married Arthur Max Phillips, November 15, 1937, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 2, 1960. After 47 years of marriage, he was called Home to prepare a Heavenly Mansion for Lucille. Lucille was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings within the church. Lucille loved the Relief Society and served for many years in the presidency at her ward and at the Crestview Rest Home. She was awarded a certificate of honor in recognition of her five years of exemplary service. The members loved her as much as she loved them. There were many families thatshe "adopted" and loved as if they were her own. Lucille was very caring andalwaysgiving of her talent of being a great cook. She was famous for her pies, macaroni salad, and homemade candy. Lucille was an excellent homemaker. Shetook great pride in her home and yardand alwayskept them immaculate. She loved gatherings of all sorts, from spending time with friends, to holiday parties and reunions with family. Lucille is survived by two daughters: Karma J Phillips, of University Place, WA; and Gayle Phillips, of Salt Lake City; 7 grandchildren: Scott (Vickie) Phillips, of Payson; Julie (Lee) Sheperd, of Orem; Reed (Kristen) Phillips, of Price; Jenifer (Wayne) Pullman, of Mapleton; Kenton (Cheryl) Phillips, of Payson; Kjerstine and Kasara Phillips, of University Place, WA; 20 great grandchildren whom she adored; and one brother, Lynn Brereton, of Provo. Lucille is now able to join those who preceded her in death: her loving husband Arthur; her daughter, Ileen; her son Merlin; seven brothers and one sister. She lived an exemplary life for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We Love You! Stewart Marjorie Anita Stewart Robinson, 93, of Lake Powell, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2004. She was born on December 15, 1911, in Los Angeles, CA, to John Clarence and Etta May Travis Stewart. She married Spencer Lee Robinson on December 29, 1933, in Reno, Nevada. Marjorie was raised and attended schools in California. She moved to Utah in 1950. She worked in an aircraft factory during WWII and then in housekeeping at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. She and Spencer also owned and operated a service station in Provo. Marjorie was a member of the LDS Church and loved bowling. She is survived by one son: Fred Robinson, of Ticaboo, Lake Powell; one sister, Virginia James, of Clamath Falls, Oregon; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Spencer; one son, Richard "Dick" Lee Robinson; two brothers in WWII, and one brother of natural causes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at 2 p.m., in the Wheeler Mortuary chapel, 211 East 200 South, Springville, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Schardine, Shirley Mae Carter Shirley Mae Carter Schardine, 73, of Springville, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2004. She was born October 19, 1931, to Myron "Bill" Carter and Thelma Boyer. She married Louis "Bud" Schardine on December 16, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. Shirley was very active in the LDS Church and served in the Relief Society Presidency. She was very active in bowling and served as President of the state association for 12 years. She worked for P. E. Ashton as a secretary for many years, and as a clerk for the State Tax Commission. She was also a member of the D.U.P. and served as their secretary. She is survived by her husband, Bud, of Springville; two daughters: Linda (Lars) Edners, of St. Marie, ID; and Coral Kay (Marvin) Dansie, of Federal Way, Washington; two sons: Rex (Melodee) Schardine, of Springville; and Chris (Jonnie) Schardine, of Murray; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Linwood (Chris) Carter, of Springville; and one sister, Donna (Jack) Graham, of Sun City, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the Hobble Creek West Stake Center, located at 555 South 600 East, Springville.
