Leo was born in Wichita, Kansas, December 4, 1914. He and his wife Mildred, who passed away in 2001, were married for 65 years. Leo played professional ice hockey in the 1930's, was a military air traffic controller during WWII, worked as an electric company lineman in the 1940's, owned sundry stores in Wichita in the 1950's and retired from Beech Aircraft in Wichita in 1980. Leo was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge. He was an avid golfer winning many amateur tournaments and the proud recipient of a Hole-in-One Award. He was a past president of the Senior Bowling League. He and his wife were active in the West Side Christian Church in Wichita. Leo enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife and children. He will be missed by family, friends, and neighbors. We find comfort knowing he is now reunited with Mildred, his wife, soulmate, and the love of his life. Leo is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Kathie Collins, his daughter and her husband, Janet and Doug Panelley, his grandson and his wife, Ron and Sara Collins, his friends at the Senior Center, and his many friends and relatives everywhere. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Green, Milton Charles Milton Charles Green 1928 - 2004 Milton Charles Green returned to his Heavenly father peacefully at his home in Centerville on November 22, 2004. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 27, 1928 to William C. And Mary Layton Green. Milt was married for 55 years to this childhood sweetheart, and best friend, Joyce McNeil, on April 9, 1949. Sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple November 18, 1955. Milt was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint and served in many callings throughout his lifetime. Presidencies of Young Mens and Elders Quorums. Milt worked hard all his life starting as a small boy in the onion fields of Woods Cross. He joined the Navy in 1945 and served in the Pacific theater. Upon returning home, he worked for Phillips Refinery and was founder of M.C. Green, Inc., later to become M. C. Green and Sons, Inc. He was always proud of the quality of his work and many large contracts were made on the shake of a hand. His hard working ethics are a legacy that continues today through the hardworking men who continue to work for the company. Milt and Joyce were members of the Oakridge Country Club, where they participated in their love of golf with lifetime friends and he served on the board and as president. Milt loved to golf, many days playing 36 holes. He had 3 hole-in-ones and had the most fun playing with his children and grandchildren of whom he was most proud. Milt and his beloved wife traveled many places in the world with Hawaii being his favorite destination. Milt was fun to travel with and enjoyed reading and was a walking encyclopedia of facts he had studied. He loved to garden and won 5 Salt Lake Tribune Civic Beautification awards. Many happy hours were spent with his grandchildren working in his garden. His yard was a tribute to a great man who loved life, family and friends. He authored four books and was a member of the Bountiful Literary Guild. Milt studied and graduated fro the International Architectural School. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; 2 sisters and 1 brother and five loving children, Connee, Brad (Susan), Mark (Lisa), Susan (Wally St. Joer), and Bill; sixteen grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Centerville South Stake Center, 270 North 300 East. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday morning from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Parry, 89, of Lake Shore, Utah, died Monday, November 22, 2004 at the home of his daughter. Allan was born August 21, 1915 in Garfield, Salt Lake County, Utah, the eldest of five children to David William and Icy Dora Drollinger Parry. After his mother's death in 1925, he was taken into the home of Thomas M. and Josephine Lewis Anderson, where he grew to manhood. He attended elementary schools in Ioka, Payson, and Lake Shore, Utah. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He married Rubye Youd on January 15, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were the parents of four children. She died April 23, 2000. Allan worked for Del Monte Canning Company, Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company, and Utah State Hospital. He enjoyed working on his farm. He was a good marksman and had success deer and pheasant hunting. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various positions. He is survived by a daughter, JoseAnn (Daven) Engle, Lake Shore; two sons: Robert Allan Parry, Central, Utah, and Dee Y (Linda) Parry, St. George, Utah; a sister, Eva Souter, Seattle, Washington; and 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, foster parents, wife, daughter, Evalyn Kellogg, granddaughter, Debra Ostler, grandsons, Thomas Ostler and Parry Engle, sister, Margaret Parry, and two brothers, Roswell Parry and Floyd (Shirley) Parry. Viewing will be Friday, November 26, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in the Lake Shore Ward Chapel, 5916 South 3200 West, with a short viewing prior to the services.
