Arnold V. Carlson "KB7ZOE" Arnold Vance Carlson, 60, of Eureka, Utah, died November 23, 2004, in Payson. He was born January 18, 1944, in Payson, to Jeril E. and Viola Mary Steele Carlson. He married Nadine Huggins, July 1, 1967, in Santaquin. Arnold graduated from Tintic High School and went on to receive a degree in welding and diesel mechanics. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at IPSC, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the LDS Church, a former member of the Tintic Elks #711, and a member of the Juab County Search and Rescue for 20 years. He belonged to the Goshen and Millard Amateur Radio Club and enjoyed geocaching, camping, 4-wheeler riding, and being outdoors in any activity. Arnold is survived by his wife, Nadine, of Eureka; a daughter, Kathy (David) Calonge, of Safford, Arizona; three sons: Jeril (Judy), Darrin (Rachel), and Blaine, all of Eureka; grandchildren: RaeLe, KayAnn, Arnold, Clarissa, and Gabriel; brothers: Jay (Linda) Carlson, Glendale, Arizona; Rex (Jane) Carlson, Springville; sisters: Winnie Gordon, Orem; and Grace (Lloyd) Conder, Eureka. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers-in-law, Lavon (Sheldon) Kirkham, Thelda (William) Eastwood, and Eugene Laird. Funeral services will be Monday, November 29th, at 11 a.m., in the Eureka LDS Chapel. Published in the Daily Herald on 11/27/2004. Condie, Reed Glenn Reed Glenn Condie Reed Glenn Condie passed away peacefully at his home in Orem, Utah, on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2004. He was surrounded by his family, when his passing released him from a difficult 28-year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on May 4, 1936, in Preston, Idaho, to Angus Reed and Marian Glenn Condie. Reed played football and ran track, and was part of a record-setting mile-relay team for Preston High School. He met his wife, Mary Margaret (Mardi) Wasden, on the HMS Oronsay as both of them were returning home from their missions in Australia. They were married on March 19, 1959, in the Logan Utah Temple. They have six children, 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Reed graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University and a Master's Degree from University of California, Berkeley, in Hospital Administration. He was somewhat of a frustrated architect, so he specialized in helping small hospitals expand and was heavily involved in overseeing the design and construction of new hospital buildings in California; and, Springfield and Florence, Oregon. He enjoyed outdoor activities, computers, and spending time with family and friends. Reed was a High Priest in the LDS Church and served as a Bishop, High Councilor, Young Men's President, and in many other callings - wherever he was needed. He was also a Scoutmaster and Rotarian. Reed is survived by his wife, Mardi; his six children: Deborah (Ron) Harris, David (Kristen) Condie, Jennifer (John) Sharp, Robert (Ganel-Lyn) Condie, Daniel (Wyn) Condie, and John Condie. He is also survived by his mother, Marian; and five brothers: Boyd (Linda) Condie, Phillip (Marva) Condie, Keith (Kay) Condie, Clyde (Chris) Condie, and Clair (Nancy) Condie. He was preceded in death by his father, Angus. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the Lakeridge 1st Ward Chapel, 575 South 400 West, Orem, UT. De Marco, Lucille Lucille De Marco Mable Lucille Forsell De Marco passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2004, on her 85th birthday at the Beehive Care Center in Orem surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 24, 1919, in Lander, Wyoming, to Edward Arthur and Pearl Morris Forsell. She married her sweetheart, Anthony (Tony) A. De Marco, February 10, 1940, in Manila, Utah. They celebrated 63 years together before Tony's passing September 30, 2002. Together they raised four sons in American Fork, living in the house built by Tony. Lucille was born and raised in Wyoming. She was a homemaker and took pride in raising her four sons. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. We will miss her much. She is survive by her sons, Anthony (Heidi), of Orem; Robert (Sue), of American Fork; Michael (Myra), of Pelham, Alabama; and Kenneth, of American Fork. She was always so proud of her 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, with 2 more great grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by a sister, Emma Cantrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and her grandson, Kolby. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Beehive Nursing Home for all their love and care. Peterson Falkner Tamara V. Peterson Falkner, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, left this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father and parents on Wednesday, November 24, 2004. She was born on June 15, 1954, to Charles Alva and Virginia Ann Peterson in American Fork, Utah. She attended schools in Pleasant Grove and Orem. She married the love of her life, Jerry Leonard Falkner, on April 6, 1976, in Evanston, Wyoming. On December 2, 1984, they were sealed with their children for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She served in the presidency of the Young Women and several other areas throughout her life. She spent her life loving and taking care of her family, always putting their needs in front of her own. She loved to do crafts and used her talents to make our home beautiful. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and always spent time with them every chance she had. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, of 28 years; three daughters and a son: Carrie (James) Russell, Spanish Fork; Robyn (Rio) Greene, Orem; Cassie (Calvin) Christiansen, Springville; Jeremy (Jaylyne) Falkner, Spanish Fork; six grandchildren: Tyler, Sydney, and Mckayden Russell; Marissa and Gracie Greene; and Ethan Christiansen. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother: Colleen (Rex) Clayton, Peggy (Craig) Shaw, and Keith (Connie) Peterson, as well as a sister-in-law, Lois Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dell and Larry Peterson; and a grandson, Drake Falkner Greene. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 29th, at 11 a.m., in the Kolob 8th Ward, 840 South 400 East, Springville.
