She is survived by her parents of West Jordan, UT; brothers, Brennan and Mitchell Christensen; grandparents Boyd & Maxine Jacobsen, Lindon, UT; grandmother Euvonna Christensen, Mt. Pleasant, UT; great-grandparents Max & Betty De St. Jeor, Orem, UT and Leo C. Larsen, Orem, UT; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Addie was preceded in death by her grandfather E. Vernal Christensen. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prairie Stake Center, 5320 West 7000 South, West Jordan, Utah. Greening returned to her Heavenly Father on November 27, 2004. Barbara left her home in England and came to America to marry her sweetheart Don. They built a home in American Fork in 1967 where they raised three sons, Shaun, Carl & Joel. She spent many hours doing homework, scouting projects and supporting the family in sports. She loved gardening and spring time is her favorite season. In her later years, she enjoyed watching and playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Don, three sons, Shaun (Tammy), Carl (Paige), Joel (Shylo), and 9 grandchildren, all of American Fork. Her family still residing in England (UK), includes 2 brothers, Peter and Leslie, 2 sisters Margaret and Maureen, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, Dec 3, 2004 in the American Fork 8th Ward Chapel, 300 North 100 East. Hatch, Barbara Elizabeth Sanford Barbara Elizabeth Sanford Hatch passed away peacefully Saturday, November 27, 2004. Barbara was born September 10, 1916, in Nephi, Utah, to Frank J and Flossie Veneta Painter Sanford. She married Victor Dee Hatch July 17, 1943, in Fort Lewis, Washington. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served two missions for the Church. As a young woman, she served in the Northern States Mission. Later with her husband, Dee, she served in the Missouri St. Louis Mission. Barbara received a bachelor degree from Utah State University. She was an educator for 23 years in the Nebo School District. Her great loves were traveling and spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by two daughters and a son: Vicki (Laird) Walker, Great Falls, Va.; Carolyn (George) Morris, Springville; Wendell (Charlene) Hatch, Centerville; Michael Lauritzen (son-in law), Woodland Hills; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; three sisters and one brother, Ruth (Frank) Brinton, Redwood City, California; Lavern Larsen, Springville; Ina (Dean) Bird, Springville; Glen (Vonda) Sanford, Las Vegas, Nevada. Preceded in death by her husband, Dee; daughter, Susan Hatch Lauritzen; one sister and two brothers, Lucile Heath, Dee Sanford, and Carl Sanford. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Springville Utah Stake Center, 698 Kolob Circle, Springville. Hidalgo, Nicholas Aaron Becerra Nicholas Aaron Becerra Hidalgo, 4, of Pleasant Grove, returned to his Heavenly Father November 28, 2004, in Salt Lake City. He was born August 28, 2000, in Provo, to parents Aliro Ricardo Becerra and Claudia Hidalgo Becerra. He was a loving special spirit. His favorite song was the National Anthem. He loved learning and his therapists. He also enjoyed music and playing. Nicholas was the light of our home. We will miss him. Survivors include his parents, a brother Andres (age 9) and a sister Melissa (age 3 weeks), grandparents Raquel Jara and Luis Hidalgo of Chile, Aliro Becerra and Carmen Jimenez of Chile. He was preceded by a sister Kathine Becerra Hidalgo. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden 1st Ward Chapel, 1028 West 1000 North in Pleasant Grove. Ivory, Rex Clair Rex Clair Ivory, 67, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, on November 26, 2004 after fighting a long, courageous battle with cancer. His strength has inspired us all. He will forever be in our hearts. Rex was born in Ft. Green, Utah, November 2, 1937 to Clair and Donna Ivory. After graduating from Moroni High School, he served an LDS mission to the North Central States Mission. He then attended Snow College and graduated from Utah State University with a Masters degree in Psychology. Rex had six children with his first wife, Roberta (1939 - 2002). Rex later married Denise Carotta on February 3, 1984. They resided in Ephraim together and raised her 3 children for 20 years. Rex worked as the Director of the Handicapped Center at Utah State University for thirteen years, from 1969 - 1984. He then worked as the South Sanpete School District Psychologist form 1984-2000. Through his work, Rex touched the lives of those he served. Rex had many passions in life. One of these passions was his farm. He enjoyed the scenery, the aroma of nature, the beautiful sunsets, and most of all, the satisfaction that he found in hard work. He also had many outdoor hobbies, such as hunting, fishing, and camping. Rex had a love for antiques. His collection included marbles, guns, and his most prized antique, his 57 Chev, which he restored. He also loved John Deere tractors. He also had a great love and a special gift of being a great grandpa. Rex is survived by his wife Denise; his children, Rebecca Ivory, Ronald Ivory (Dennice), Richard Ivory (Melody), Rachel Ivory, Ryan Ivory (Dusty), Reid Ivory (Nickie), Andria McCaul (Joe), Brian Boston; and his 14 Grandchildren; Siblings James Ivory (Dorothy), Sheryl Draper (Paul), Russel Ivory (Karen). He is preceded in death by parents, Clair and Donna Ivory, his daughter Rosetta Ivory, and his stepson Derek Boston. The family would like to express our appreciation and thanks to Laurie Miller and the many hospice workers with the At Home Health Care, and Dr. Bott and the staff of Central Utah Multi-Specialty Clinic, Dr. Dechet, Dr. Peterson and the Central Utah Medical Clinic, and Dr. Armstrong. Jepperson, Carol Marie Carol Marie Jepperson, age 71, of Provo, passed away peacefully at the Country View Manor Care Center in Provo, Utah November 29, 2004. She was born July 15, 1933 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Walter Henry and Arvilla Bringhurst Jepperson. Carol worked as a Nutrition Aid for the Utah State Extension Service. She loved the family farm, and spent all of her life there until she went to live at the care center. She enjoyed the mountains and spending time with her horses. Survivors include her sister, Betty Holley of Roy, Utahand many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Walter Clyde Jepperson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street in Orem. Ouimette, Richard David Richard David Ouimette passed away on Monday, November 29, 2004, at his home in Highland, Utah. Richard was born on Christmas Eve 1928 in Chicopee, Massachusetts, the first of two sons of Charles Frederick Ouimette and Eleanor Czelusniak. The family lost their house in the Great Depression and moved to a farm in North Wilbraham, where Richard spent the most enjoyable days of his childhood. At age fourteen, after moving to Indian Orchard, he was paralyzed from the neck down by polio. Under his mother's loving care he achieved a nearly complete recovery. Richard married the love of his life, Marilyn Jean O'Connor, on April 19, 1958, in Temple City, California. He asked for her hand in marriage on their second date. They raised their children in El Monte, Campbell, and San Jose, California, spending family vacations in the mountains, on the lake, and at the beach. After four decades in banking he retired as an Assistant Vice President of Security Pacific National Bank in San Jose, California. Richard and Marilyn enjoyed their retirement in Madison, Connecticut; Carson City, Nevada; and Highland, Utah. Richard and Marilyn were baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 3, 1983 in San Jose, California. On April 28, 1984, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Oakland California Temple. Richard's church service ranged from playing piano in Primary, to serving as Ward financial clerk, to working with foreign-language missionaries at the Missionary Training Center. Richard played music his entire life, beginning with an accordion his father bought him from Italy. He later learned to play the piano, guitar, harmonica, and mandolin. Richard especially loved the piano, playing at home and at church and teaching piano lessons. He composed many beautiful tunes for piano and guitar and instilled within his family an enduring love for music. Richard is survived by his wife Marilyn; his children David Scott Ouimette (Deanna) of Highland, Utah, Karen Barbara MacMaster (Bruce) of Rocklin, California, and Kimberly Ann Golling (Andy) of Pleasant Grove, Utah; and seventeen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Charles Ouimette (Stella) of Yreka, California, and his grandson Matthew David Ouimette of Provo, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at 11 a.m., at the Highland West Stake Center, 9600 North 6800 West. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Tovey, Renee M. Renee M. Tovey 1938 - 2004 Renee Tovey, 66, passed away quietly November 27, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born May 26, 1938 in Manti, Utah the daughter of Lewis S. and Ruth Bench Mckelvey. Renee married Donald L. Tovey on October 16, 1954 in Salt Lake City. Utah. Donald preceded her in death on July 2, 1969. Renee loved her family, grandchildren, and friends tremendously. She very much enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her children, Brenda L. Ford; Terence S. Tovey; Jerald W. Tovey; Michelle Tovey; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Jackie Johnson; Janet Quigley. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald; sister Colleen Kirkman; and brother Paul. Graveside services will be held on Friday December 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery 3115 E. Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.).
