For those of you who would like to help us celebrate Jesse's life, we will be gathering on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos Park Stake Center, 1000 North Main St., in Orem. There will be a viewing Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the stake center. Burial will be in the OremCity Cemetery. Jackman RIVERDALE - Gail Naomi Jackman, 89, died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at her home in Riverdale of causes incident to age. She was born December 22, 1915 in Salem, Idaho, a daughter of George Dewain and Lillie May Smith Peterson. On May 31, 1938, Gail married Perry F. Jackman in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Perry preceded her in death on April 13, 1987. She was raised and educated in Salem, Idaho graduating from the Salem public schools. Following her marriage she lived most of her life in Nephi. She lived the past 15 months with family members in Riverdale. Her granddaughter, Teresa, wants everyone to know what a privilege it was to have Grandma Gail in her home and to be able to care for her. Gail was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings throughout her life and served two missions, one to New York and the other to Oregon. One of her greatest joys in her later life was working in the Manti Temple. She worked at the NRP Rubber Plant in Nephi retiring after 25 years of service. Gail loved to sew and crochet and was a wonderful cook. Her favorite thing to do was to be surrounded by her family. Surviving are one son, Ferron (Valear) Jackman, Chester, UT; one daughter, Lynda Daras, Murphy, NC; 34 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Zola McClain and Gerri Smith, both of Marino Valley, CA. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one son Dewain, siblings Eugene, Coral, and LaRue, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Nephi 8th Ward Chapel, 222 South 100 East in Nephi, Utah, with Bishop Sam Memmott officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment, Levan, Utah City Cemetery. Beardall Shepherd peacefully passed away surrounded by her family, returning to her Heavenly Father on April 9, 2005. She was born October 3, 1928 to Vernal Heber Beardall and Annie Maraby Bird Beardall in Salina, Utah. She married Levi Ray Shepherd August 16, 1946 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 15, 1965. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Norma Jean, brother Clead and Great Granddaughter Kortney Perry. She is survived by her husband Levi Ray Shepherd, daughter Shanna Rae (Kay) Christiansen of Spanish Fork, Utah, daughter Connie (Don) Perry of Fountain Green, Utah, son Thomas Ray (Sherri) Shepherd, of Benjamin, daughter Phyllis Ann (Scott) Aitken of Spanish Fork, daughter Cindy Shepherd of Spanish Fork and son Vernal Ray (Christy) Shepherd of Benjamin. Carrol also leaves a legacy of 15 grandchildren and 21 great grand children. Along with brothers Louis Beardall and N J Beardall with many nieces and nephews. Carrol was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved gardening, crocheting, singing and visiting with her family and many friends. Her light would shine bright when her grand and great grandchildren would visit. Carrol was loved and adored by many and had a spirit of charity, patience and compassion towards all. The family would like to thank all those involved with her care at Spanish Fork Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in a Spanish Fork LDS Ward Chapel, located at 400 North 800 East, Spanish Fork. Friends and family may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 prior to the services.
