He was the son of Merrill F. and Marie Stewart Crandall. He was born in Orem, Utah August 18, 1918. He was educated in Orem schools and graduated from Brigham Young University. He was employed by NASA until his retirement in 1972. He was married to Jean Hickey Bodie and is survived by Jean and her son Neal Bodie (Renee), her daughter Debra Bodie and his sister Beth C. Kirgan 1908~2005 NEPHI/ Lorene Garrett Morgan Kirgan, age 96, passed away April 18, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Levan, Utah. She was born July 27, 1908 in Nephi, Utah to John Edward and May Inez Bale Garrett. She married Ira Delyle Morgan, May 14, 1929 in Nephi, Utah. He died in 1957. She married Clinton Kirgan March 31, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died 1973. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many calling. She was a member of the DUP. She liked to quilt, crochet and work in her rose garden. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend. Survived by her daughter, Marilyn (George) Kendall of Levan; grandchildren, Alan (Sue) Kendall, Kathy (Bill) Rice, Scott (Lynette) Kendall, Michelle (Jerry) Crofts, Julie (Mike) Mitchell; stepdaughters, Colleen (Gil) Hilton and Maxine Denning; 17 great grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren Preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers. She was born May 24, 1949, in Dragerton, Utah, the daughter of Earl and Norma Madge Black Hinkins. She married Quinton Eric Larson on July 7, 1996, in Provo, Utah. Judy liked to have fun and was a loving person. She loved to travel, knit, read and work. She also loved pets and music. Judy gave the gift of organ donation. Survived by her husband, Quinton, of Highland; 1 son, Richard (Trina) Healey, Lehi; 3 daughters, Jaylene (Mike) Turner, Orem; Alisha (Shaun) Dudley, West Jordan; Shannon (Jason) Green, Lehi; 2 step-children, Brittany, and Nichole Aubrey Larson; 10 grandchildren; 1 step-granddaughter, Gwendolyn Larson; 3 great-grandchildren; her mother, Norma Peck, of American Fork; 1 brother, Earl Norman (Nona) Norman, Henderson, NV; 1 sister, Cathrine Ann Abbott, American Fork. Price, Mary Lynn DeHeer Mary Lynn DeHeer Price Gooding Idaho - Mary Lynn DeHeer Price, age 66, of Gooding, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at her residence. Mary was born June 1, 1938, in Rock Springs, Wyo., the daughter of Bill and Mary Hess DeHeer. She married Lawrence Miles Price in the Manti Utah Temple. Survivors include her husband, Larry of Gooding; daughters, Jeanine (George) Wojtowicz of Rockford, Ill., Lisa of Farmington, N.M., Pauline of Gooding, Lynn Ann of Spokane, Wash., and Shauna of Twin Falls; sons, Nathan (Tara) of Gooding and Loren (Jennifer) of Tucson, Ariz.; 12 dearly loved grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Kent) Blackley of Springville, Utah, and Carol (Carwin) Watts of Mapleton, Utah; and her second mother, Arlena DeHeer. She was preced in death by her mother, Mary Ruhemina; father, William Garrett; brother, Gary; and a nephew, Clark. A funeral was held Monday, April 18, 2005. Searle, Della Gurr Baum Della Gurr Baum Searle Our loving mother and grandmother, Della Gurr Baum Searle, 90, passed away peacefully at her granddaughter's home in Santaquin. She was born February 16, 1915 in Buckhorn, Utah to Wallace and Bethsheba James Gurr. She married Virgil Baum. He preceded her in death. She then married Rex Searle. He too, preceded her in death. Della attended Lincoln High School in Orem. She was employed by Jack's Caf in Spanish Fork for over 20 years as manager and cook. She loved to bowl and go fishing at Fish Lake with the family. She and a group of friends played cards together for over 50 years. She enjoyed quilting and made beautiful quilts. Della is survived by two sons: Dale (Neola) Baum of Spanish Fork, Dean (Elaine, deceased) Baum of Wisconsin; four stepchildren: Jack Searle, Don Searle, R.D. Searle, Rexene Jordan; and 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters: Loa (David O.) MacKay, Wanda (Austin) Barney, LaVon (Omar) Hansen. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Baum and Rex Searle; daughter, Darlene Baum; grandson, Brady Baum; brothers, Eugene Gurr and Wallace Gurr; sisters, Beth Wilburg and Margaret Hamblin; and special friend, Nina Huff. Solorzano, Marcelino Marcelino Solorzano Marcelino Solorzano, age 45 of Payson, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005. He was born April 4, 1960 in El Salvador to Marcelino and Victoria Gertrudes Ayala Solorzano. He married Juana Flores in California. Marcelino was raised in El Salvador and attended schools in Wyoming. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed rebuilding cars. He worked for Rey Crest roofing company for 22 years in California and then worked for Liberty Safe in Payson. He is survived by his wife, Juana Solorzano of Payson and five daughters: Lizeth Solorzano of Payson; Karina Solorzano of Payson; Haydee Solorzano of Payson; step-daughters Elizabeth Solorzano and Valeria Solorzano of California. He is also survived by 11 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in the San Andres Catholic Church, 315 East 100 North in Payson with a viewing from 11:30 to 1:30 prior to the services. There will be a rosary held at 6 p.m. on Friday evening at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville, followed by a viewing from 7 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary. Sperry 1928~2005 NEPHI/ Jack Goble Sperry, age 76, passed away April 17, 2005 in Nephi, Utah. He was born July 21, 1928 in Nephi, Utah to William George and Marion LaPreal Goble Sperry. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving as a High Priest. He loved to provide service to others. He loved music. He is survived by three brothers, Ted (Nancy) Sperry of Nephi; Max (Marva) Sperry of Salt Lake City; Kenneth (Kathy) Sperry of Cedar City; sister-in-law, Beth Sperry of Nephi; Nephews and Nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Karen Sperry; brother, William L. Sperry. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 in the Nephi 2nd Ward, 222 South 100 East. White, 81, of Orem, died suddenly but peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2005, at the Timpanogos Regional Hospital. She was born September 6, 1923, to Alma Miner and Cleonda Roylance Miner in Springville, Utah. She married G. Randall White on October 2, 1943, in Springville, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Beverly was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Springville High School where she played in the orchestra and band, was active in drama, and was president of the Pep Club. She attended Utah State University, where she met her husband of almost 53 years. She read hundreds of books and even wrote some poetry. She worked at the Orem City Library and later at the Cascade Elementary School library.Beverly loved life and was always outgoing, positive, and happy. She was very active in the LDS Church, holding many callings throughout her life. She is survived by her six children: Judith Pomeroy (Marion) of Baytown, Texas; Douglas R. White (Eva) of West Jordan; Kenneth P. White (Gayle) of Lake Shore; Kathlyn Williams (Bruce) of Fayette; Chris White (Nadia) of Draper; and Tammi Velasquez (Serge) of Orem; 36 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Randall and a brother, Larry Miner. Special thanks to Tanya Roylance and her staff at Stonewood Manor Assisted Living Center in Orem, where Beverly lived during the past four years.
