She was born April 30, 1915 in Payson, Utah, the daughter of Ivy Richardson and James Arthur Francom. Ramona married Melvin Braithwaite February 20, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of Colleen (Wayne) Bateman, Venita (Willard) Stolworthy, Ronald (Sharon) Braithwaite and Geri (Curtis) Robbins. Ramona has 24 Grandchildren, 90 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great-great Grandchildren. She was special in all of their lives, and will be missed by each of them. Ramona is survived by her sister, Keturah Thomas, her brother, Arthur L. Francom, as well as all of her children. She is preceded in death by her husband and a brother, James Derwin Francom. Ramona has always been an active member of the L.D.S. Church. She served in the Primary for 28 consecutive years, loving each one. She loved being in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers (Sun Bonnet Camp) and loved each of the sisters. On December 5, 2005 a viewing will be held at the 15th Ward Chapel on 300 East Center in Spanish Fork, Utah, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. The family wishes to give special thanks to Heart for Hospice, for the loving care they provided. Clark, Herbert Haigh Herbert Haigh Clark, age 82 of Springville, passed away Monday, November 28, 2005. He was born July 28, 1923 in Cohasset, Minnesota to Lynn Delbert and Ruth Lauretta Haigh Clark. He married Uarda "Mike" Richens on August 21, 1945 in Seattle, Washington. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. Herb served in the Marine Corps. during WWII and was a commander in the American Legion for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and gardening. During his life, he owned and operated several businesses. Herb was the proud father of six children. He is survived by his wife "Mike" Clark and his children: Linda Ruth Wall (Mike); Herbert Alan Clark (Nancy); Patrician Ann Hemphil (Jerry); Michael LeRoy Clark (Mary); Paul Steven Clark (Lisette); Randy Lynn Clark (Lorraine); and 21 grandchildren. Groll, Nancy Highland - Nancy Innes Groll passed away peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family Monday, November 28, 2005. She was born Dec. 24, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Russell and Phebe Weston Innes. She married Steven Groll on March 17, 1973 in the Provo Temple. She is the mother of 3 children, Nanette (Bart) Brockbank, Weston, and Rebecca (Josh) Peck and 3 grandchildren; Stockton, Kennedie, and Weston. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. Nancy graduated with honors from Lehi High School and Utah State University. She was active in the LDS Church, where she was currently serving as Stake Relief Society Secretary. Nancy held many positions including Young Women's President, Relief Society teacher, and Ward Activities Committee chairman. Nancy also faithfully served 2 missions; at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City and the Missionary Training Center in Provo, where she shared her testimony and love of the gospel. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, her sister Paula (Kip) Peterson, her brother Weston (Jody) Innes and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy touched the lives of everyone she knew. Join us as we honor Nancy's life on Friday December 2nd from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Highland Utah West Stake Center, 11605 N. 6000 W., Highland, Utah. Hicken, a 91-year-old resident of Burley, and a former educator of the Provo, Utah area for more than 35 years, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at her home. She was born Jan. 6, 1914, in Orderville, Utah, the daughter of Henry and Pamela Elvira Cox Blackburn. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Hicken of Burley; four daughters, Janet (Art) Frazier of Mesa, Arizona, Pamela (Ron) Hall of Burley, Camille (Keith) Langston of Blanding, Utah, and Hilma Hicken of Provo, Utah; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jon Ralph Hicken; 13 brothers and sisters; a grandson, Michael Ryan Hall; and a great-grandson, Hunter Aaron Danner. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at the Heber City Cemetery in Heber City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 N. Main St., in Heber City, Utah. Sagers, Robert Gordon Robert Gordon Sagers, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend passed away on November 30, 2005 of causes incident to an extended illness. He was born January 31, 1925 in Lincoln, Tooele County, Utah to Robert Bruce and Margaret Cameron Sagers. He graduated from Tooele High School and received his Bachelors degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University. He served his country as a Naval Radio and Radar Technician during World Ward II aboard the aircraft carrier Shangri-La and was one of many sailors exposed to atomic radiation during the atom bomb testing at the close of the war. Gordon married Barbara Jean Green of Grantsville, Utah on September 18, 1948. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They are the parents of five children, 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a dedicated employee of Utah Job Service in Provo where he worked for over 30 years. Following his retirement he and his wife served LDS Church Service missions at the Provo LDS Employment Services office, Foreign Language Translator Coordinators at the Provo Missionary Training Center and as Stake Leadership missionaries. He was a devoted member of the LDS Church serving in many positions including Bishop, Stake and Ward Clerk and as a member of the High Priest Group Leadership. Survived by his loving wife, Jean; brothers and sisters, Ella (Al) Swanson, Vera (Joe) Elfors, Bruce (Mildred) Sagers, Glen (Jennie) Sagers, Richard (Pauline) Sagers, Carol (Roger) Jensen; and four of their five children, Mark (Sherrie) Sagers, Jeanette (Dane) Gregersen, Sterling (Becky) Sagers, Stewart (Kim) Sagers; their 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Verne; sister, Dorothy and daughter Loretta Sagers Riley. The family would like to express sincere appreciation for the loving kindness of Comfort Care Hospice and the other caregivers who so ably helped Gordon these past few years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the Timpanogos Park 3rd Ward Chapel, 1000 North Main Street, Orem at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 E.
