She had fought a courageous four-year battle with colon cancer. She was born May 21,1962 to Ronald Davis and Marian Gerstner Venema in Salt Lake City, Utah, the eighth of eleven children. On March 23,1985 she married Ron Allred and moved to Rocky Ridge, Utah, where they built their lives together for the past 20 years. There she served joyfully in the Primary and in the Young Womens' Organizations and was a friend to all. Her children meant the world to her. Even while suffering herself, she put her two youngest children, who have life-threatening illnesses, first. Rosalin is survived by her devoted husband, Ron; five sons: Stewart, Anthony, Nathan, Joel, William; three daughters: Abigail, Kimberly, Susannah; cherished mother, Marian; seven sisters: Gailan, Patience, Lorrie, Marian, Rosalie ( her twin), Lisa, Francine; three brothers: Arlynn, Sterling, Nathan; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at the MLA Building in Rocky Ridge (South Santaquin). Friends and family may call Sunday, December 4, 2005 from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday, 10:00- 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment in the Rocky Ridge Cemetery. Bond, Kimberly Ridge Kimberly Jean Ridge Bond, 49, passed away December 2, 2005 at her home in Pleasant Grove. She was born June 20, 1956 in Provo, Utah to John William and Marjorie Jean Haddock Ridge. She married Scott J. Bond December 27, 1978 in the Manti LDS Temple. Kimberly was a selfless person who will be missed by those whom she served and who had the blessing of serving her. She remains our loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Scott, her four children: Jeff, Erek (Charlene), Jason, and Sarah. She is also survived by her brother Jeffrey Ridge (Diane) and their family and her sister-in-law Terri Ridge and her family. She was preceded by her parents and her brother Richard. Funeral services will be Monday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grovecreek 7th Ward Chapel, 942 North 500 East, Pleasant Grove. A viewing will be held at the same address on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will take place in the American Fork Cemetery directly following the funeral services. Clark Sr., Dennis Bert "Taos Hallowed Zemin" Ivins, UT - Dennis Bert Clark, Sr. passed away November 16, 2005 in El Paso, Texas. He was born June 5, 1949 to Bessie May Green and Bert Elvin Clark in Park City, Utah. Dennis grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah and had a love for the outdoors, which was evident in his enjoyment of hunting, fishing, boating and horse racing. He had a "green thumb" and enjoyed gardening and raising game fowl. At the age of 16 he joined the Navy, served four years and is a Vietnam veteran. He was employed by Geneva Steel for 20 years as an electrician and was honored at two separate times for his inventions that were used by the company. Dennis lived in Ivins, Utah for 12 years and in Central, Utah for a year prior to his death. Dennis is survived by his wife, Nancy; three sons, Dennis Bert Clark, Jr., of St. George, UT, Steven Wade Clark and Anthony James Clark, both of West Jordan, UT; seven grandchildren; parents, Bert and Bessie Clark; a brother and three sisters. He is preceded in death by one brother. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 5, 1 p.m., Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S. Dixie Dr., St. George, Utah. Published in the Daily Herald on 12/3/2005. Searle, Dorothy G. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothy Gardner Searle, age 86 of Payson, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005 at her home. She was born October 30, 1919 at Salem, Utah to Charles Vernon and Victoria Larsen Gardner. She married Max L. Searle, June 28, 1937 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous positions including the Young Women's organization and 20 years in the Primary. She was a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family. Survivors include: her husband, Max of Payson; two sons, Charles Max (Kathleen) Searle, West Valley; Dennis Ray (Jeanine) Searle, Payson; 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Gardner, of Leeds. She was preceded in death by: her daughter, June; a great-grandchild; a brother and sister, Vernon and June Gardner. Services will be Monday, December 5, 2005, 11:00 a.m., in the Payson 14th LDS Ward Chapel, 110South 300 West. Allen M Winterton was born January 31, 1915, in Charleston, Utah, to Moroni and Susa Mabel Giles Winterton. He graduated from Wasatch High School in Heber, Utah. In 1937 he married Ava Atwood in the Salt Lake Temple. She was the love of his life and preceded him in death on December 21st, 2004. He was employed as a laborer during the construction of Geneva Steel in the early 1940's and in 1946 became employed in the plant's machine shop where he remained until his retirement in 1977. From 1978 to 1980, Allen and Ava served in the Canada Winnipeg LDS Mission. Allen loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, welding, computing, and tending his small garden and orchard. He was friendly to everyone, and could often be found fixing something for friends and neighbors. He is survived by four children: Wayne, Phoenix, AZ, Joyce (Lynn J) Stewart, Deweyville, UT, Ann (Richard) Seely, Salt Lake City who, along with her husband is currently serving a mission in Brazil, and Alene (Brent) Neilson, Las Vegas, NV. Also, 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5th at 1:00 pm with a viewing from 11:45-12:45 p.m. prior to services in the Sharon 1st Ward, 641 South 400 East, Orem. Arrangements are under the direction of the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
