He was born Oct 10, 1979 in American Fork to Bruce and Cally Jo Woolstenhulme Edwards. Curtis was loved by everyone who knew him and he was always the life of the party. His smile could light up any room he entered. Curtis worked for US Mechanical as a sheet metal mechanic. Curtis loved the outdoors, 4 wheeling, camping, snow boarding, traveling and most of all spending time with his family. He always looked forward to playing with his nieces & nephews and they adored him. He was his Mother's Best Bud and he adored her. Peck, Jason J. Jason James Peck, 29, of Eagle Mountain, died December 18, 2005 in a tragic car accident. Born January 11, 1976 in American Fork, Utah the son of Craig Lee and Julie Chamberlain Peck. Jason loved his family and life more than anything. He had a great love for his nieces and nephews. He was an avid hunter, four wheeler, and was a genuine person. Jason loved just being with friends and family. He always had a smile on his face and will be missed by all. Survived by his parents, Fairfield; a brother Christian (MinDee) Peck, Eagle Mtn; Sister Brittany (Branden) Hansen, Eagle Mtn; 2 nieces, SaeDee and Devynn Peck and 2 nephews, Hunter and Westen Hansen. Penrod, Madge Harris Peterson Madge Harris Peterson Penrod, 76, of Benjamin, long-time Pleasant Grove resident, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at her home. She was born October 15, 1929 in Lindon to LeRoy and Mable Devey Harris. She married Don Reed Peterson, April 15, 1949 in Pleasant Grove. Don passed away on January 12, 1954. She married Ned Penrod on December 15, 1989. Madge grew up in Lindon and attended schools in Lindon and Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School. During her childhood, Madge learned the value of hard work on her family's farm. After Don Reed passed away, Madge worked to support her two children. She worked many years at Christensen's Department Store and IGA Grocery Store in Pleasant Grove. She later worked in banking at the Bank of Pleasant Grove as a teller and after many years of service, managed the Lindon Branch. Madge enjoyed working in the PTA and the Primary and Young Women's Organizations of the church. After her marriage to Ned, they moved to Benjamin and bought a new house where they could enjoy country-life together. They had 16 wonderful years together. Madge is survived by her husband Ned of Benjamin; her son Don C. (Marcia) Peterson of Lindon; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Dee Harris, Ione Weaver, Lois Harding, Wilma Mann; step-children: Kent (Pat) Penrod and Marsha (Farrell) Hatfield and son-law, James L. Harmer. Madge was recently preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Jo Harmer. Simmons passed away Saturday December 17, 2005 at Utah Valley Hospital from heart problems. He was born on April 7, 1931 in Payson, Utah to Lawrence Edward Simmons and Dolly P. Rigtrip. He graduated from Payson High School and married Joyce Wyler in 1949. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1948 serving in the Korean War. He is a member of the L.D.S. Church. He retired from US Geneva Steel as a supervisor. Ted loved his grandkids and great grandkids. He was known for his great sense of humor and ability to make friends. He enjoyed his friends of the Morning Coffee Committee at the Eagle's Lodge. He was generous and always gave a helping hand to those in need. He always maintained a good attitude even when life was not easy. Ted is survived by his wife, children: Kathleen (Cameron) Adams of Pleasant Grove, Linda (Weldon) Carlson of American Fork, Rodney and Randy Simmons of Orem, Paul (Angie) Simmons of Provo, sister Carol (Boyd) Ackerman of Pleasant Grove. He was preceded in death by his son Mike and mother Dolly Reese. A graveside service will be held on December 21 at 1:00 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Wilkinson, Margaret Guercio Margaret Guercio Wilkinson, 81, passed away on December 17, 2005 in Reno, NV. Too young to leave us but finally at peace. Margaret's passing leaves much sorrow for those of us left behind. We kept you close to us as long as we could and we will miss your presence every day for the rest of our lives. Margaret was born in Provo, Utah on May 19, 1924 to Francesco and Carmella Fata Guercio. Margaret and her devoted husband, Ray Leland Wilkinson, were married on August 18, 1944. Margaret retired from Western Union Telegraph where she had worked for 25 years. Margaret loved to work with people volunteering as a special tutor at St. Ann's Elementary School and worked as a nurse's aid a Ridgecrest Community Hospital. Margaret was well known for the kindness she showed to everyone, her Italian dinner parties, and her beautiful garden. Margaret and Ray's home was always the place the family and friends loved to gather. Ray and Margaret lived in Orem, UT until Ray's death is 1982 after which Margaret moved to California with her daughter, Linda and son in law, Brent, before moving to Reno in 1995 until her death. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, John Guercio, Provo, UT and Paul Guercio, Alameda, CA. She is survived by two brothers and three sisters: Victor Guercio, Salt Lake City, UT; James Guercio, Winnemucca, NV, Mary Carfi, Merlin, OR; Julie Roberts, Murietta, CA and Jennie Barton, Orem, UT. Margaret also leaves behind her devoted daughters and son-in-law, Brent and Linda Rae Wilkinson Howe and Mary Ellen Wilkinson, all of Reno and with whom Margaret lived during the last 22 years. Margaret has two devoted granddaughters, Kelli Rashel Howe Horejsi and Megan Camille Howe both living in Reno whom she loved dearly, nurtured daily and raised with loving attention. Farewell good spirit; kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother. You made our lives a richer place and we will miss you. Wingrove, Nancy McCurdy Nancy McCurdy Wingrove, age 71 of Draper, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2005 after a long illness. She was born June 24, 1934 in Provo, Utah to Donald E. and Sophie Anne Thompson McCurdy. She married Justin P. Jenkins in Provo, Utah on June 16, 1956. Later, she married Robert E. Wingrove in Springville, Utah on August 8, 1987. Robert preceded her in death February 19, 2003. Nancy graduated St. Benedicts in 1956 with a diploma as a registered nurse. She had a 32 year nursing career including house supervisor, head nurse, and was the assistant director of nursing at the time of her retirement from Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in 1988. After retiring, she moved to Mesquite, Nevada after being a longtime resident of the Springville/Mapleton area. She was a member of the Woman of Moose, holding various positions. She is survived by a sister, Deon Juarros of Carmichael, Ca; two daughters: Julie Jenkins of Salt Lake City, UT, Jamie (Tom) Nannini of Draper, UT; three sons: Mark Jenkins of Urumchi, China and his wife Carmen Lowry of Carton, Sudan; Justin Jenkins of Springville, UT; Lance Jenkins of Oakland, CA; seven grandchildren; two step-sons and three step-daughters.
