Maxine Foote 1933 ~ 2005 Maxine Miner, passed away on December 17, 2005 in American Fork, Utah from causes incident to Multiple Myeloma. She was born March 13, 1933 in Altonah, Duchesne County, Utah to Grant Lane Foote and Ethel Caldwell Foote. She attended schools in Altonah and Salt Lake City, graduating from South High School. Maxine married Donald Keith Miner on December 19, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Maxine and Don lived in and enjoyed several communities in California and Utah over the years with many friends from each area. They spent several years in the Washington DC area and raised their eight children mostly in Kaysville and Farmington. The past couple of years they lived near their daughter, Janet, in Kuna, Idaho, before settling in Utah County. Maxine and Don returned to the East Coast to serve a mission to the Washington DC Temple from October 1998 to April 2000. She kept a very organized home with everything always in its place. She loved gardening. Her greatest joy was being with and serving her family. She especially made each child in her presence feel loved and cared for. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in grandma's heart, and each of them had a tender spot for grandma. All of her many care-givers in her later years commented often that she was "an angel". Her family feels the same. We express sincere gratitude for all who have cared for her over the last few years. Maxine was preceded in death by her son, David, a grandson, Benjamin, her parents, a brother and a sister.
