She was born December 8, 1956 in Murray, Utah to Ray Blake and Ruby LaRene Nelson. She was adopted by Dale and Elda Hadfield of Lehi in 1964. She married John Mark Blanken December 13, 2003 in Ogden. Heidi attended schools in Lehi and graduated from Kearns High School. She loved to read and was an active member of the New Day Christian Church in Ogden. Survived by her husband of Ogden; 4 sons, Clinton Smith, Henderson, NV; Micah, Trae, amd Layne (Brittney) Smith, all of West Jordan; one grandchild, Teyawnna; brothers and sisters, Mike (Connie) Conder, American Fork; Dan (Diane) Howard,Vancouver, WA; Valdean, Carl, and Eugene Hadfield, Karen Adams, Mary Pinkham, and Amy Barnes. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005 at 12:00 noon in the Lehi City Cemetery 1100 N 400 E, Lehi. Bowen returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in Heber City, Utah. She was born February 11, 1919, in Bluebell, Utah, to James W. and Vivian Ewell Powell. Verona lived a full life, and touched everyone she met. She always thought of others first. She leaves a special place in all of our hearts. She is survived by her son, John K. (Icel) Therning of Auburn, WA; four daughters: Loraine Frantz of Kamas, Norene (Richard) Neff of Mexican Hat, Julie (James) Feraco of Las Vevas, NV, Aileen Neil of Kansas City, MO; two brothers: Calvin and Bill Powell; two sisters: Maurine Smith and Lucy Timothy; 19 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her and she loved them very much. She is preceded in death by two husbands: Raymond Therning and Albert Gonzales; her parents, one granddaughter, two brothers and seven sisters. Our family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to the care givers of Rocky Mountain Care Center for all of the Love and care they have given to our mother and grandmother. Forsyth Sr., Douglas Richard Douglas Richard Forsyth, Sr. was called back to the loving arms of our Savior and family members who preceded him on December 21, 2005. There was a joyous reunion with his father and grandmother who passed away when Doug was only eight, and his mother who passed away a year ago. His courageous and valiant struggle with leukemia is over. Doug was born to Harry and Bernice Peck Forsyth on November 4, 1943, his fathers birthday, on the steps of Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. He married his eternal companion, Andrea Louise Larson on November 3, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. Doug was a proud graduate of Orem High (class of 1962). He graduated from BYU in 1968 with a bachelors in social work. He served an honorable LDS mission to the North British mission. His love for his Savior was evident to all those he served. He held various callings in the LDS Church, high councilman, bishop and "worlds most faithful" home teacher. Doug had a firm testimony of the strength of home teaching and scouting and was awarded the Silver Beaver. He was currently serving as an ordinance worker in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. He retired from McNeil Pharmaceutical after 33 dedicated years of employment. For the past 3 1/2 years he proudly represented the City of Orem as a councilman. His accomplishments are numerous, but his sense of humor and love for his Savior and family will be missed the most. Doug is survived by his wife, Andrea, his children, Doug Jr (Jodi), Thornton, CO; Darren (Jamie), Saratoga Springs; Daniel (Emily), Las Vegas, NV; Alisha (Corbet) Heath, Highland and Dustin, 17 grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, McKay, Camryn, Alex, Cassidy, Connor, Mary, Zachary, Nicholas, Whitney, Miranda, Chelsea, McKayla, Tyler, Jarod, Addison. His siblings, Gwen (Ray) Squires, Highland; Don (Shauna), Orem; Duane (Vickie), Highland; David (Kathleen), Orem; Geri (Curtis) Smith, Pleasant Grove. Doug was preceded in death by his father and mother, two special nephews, John David Forsyth and Derek Patton Larson and brother-in-law, Richard C. Larson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005, in the Sharon Park 2nd Ward Chapel, 200 North 250 East, Orem. Hiatt passed away December 22, 2005 at his home in Payson, Utah. Dean was born September 30, 1931 in Payson and was the thirteenth of fourteen children born to William Luther and Mary Jane Moore Hiatt. He grew up in Payson and attended school there, graduating from Payson High School in 1949. He was active in sports and participated in basketball, football and track. Dean married Luva Dawn Schaugaard on March 9, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of six children; Christine Johnson of Payson, Janet (Ken) Kelley of Santaquin, Jimmy Dean (Maxine) Hiatt of Spanish Fork, and Kevin Reid Hiatt of Springville, David L. (Diann) Hiatt, and Steven Glen (Sandra) Hiatt, all of Payson. Dean was a High Priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and until his health prevented him from attending, he was always active in his church and held many different positions. During his life he had many different occupations. He worked for the railroad, the Forest Service, Geneva Steel, Johnson Tire Service and others, but his love was farming. He was happiest on the farm with his brothers and nephews or on the Franz Ranch in Wyoming. Dean is survived by his wife and children, 26 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and three sisters; Renee (Darrol) Fluckiger of Bedford, Wyoming, Helen (Keith) Andreason of Payson, Utah and Barbara (Gale) Dedrickson of Spanish Fork, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and ten brothers and sisters; William Earl, Mary Beatrice, Erma Elizabeth, Harold, Donna Ann, Gwen, Wayne, Rex Arnold, Norma, Reid Moore Hiatt; one grandson, Jacob Blaine Hiatt and one Son-in-law, Michael Johnson. White, Darlene Marziale "Pee Wee" Our beloved wife and mother, Darlene Cheryl Marziale White (Pee Wee), returned home into the loving embrace of our Savior during the most beautiful time of year she cherished and loved the most. She passed away on December 21, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She willingly participated in numerous clinical studies in both Utah and Maryland to benefit future patients. Darlene continually lived her life for others. Her selfless compassion and service touched the hearts of many and enriched the lives of those around her. She was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 12, 1948. She was the second of eight children to James Anthony and Norma Larsen Marziale. Her mother later married Ira Hillyard and Darlene gained the love of three additional siblings. She served a mission in the Colorado, Nebraska Central States Mission. She married Gary Allen White in Newport Beach on September 10, 1977. Their marriage was solemnized on July 28, 1979 in the Los Angeles Temple. After living in Anaheim, the family moved to Utah where she was employed for over twenty years at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in both the Labor/Delivery & Pediatric Units. Her radiant smile and zest for fun accelerated her patients healing. Her passion and gift was with children. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and almost always served in the Primary. Her life was dedicated to her Heavenly Father, Savior, husband, children and grandchildren. She was a great mother who participated in many activities with her kids, which included being the baseball coach. She loved writing poetry, crafts, camping and the outdoors. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sweetheart, Gary; five children: Jenniffer Lynne, Michael Aaron (Kyrsten), David Adam, Kimberley Jewel and Reed Allen; two grandchildren: Aidan Frederick and Michael Klayton. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Spring Creek First Ward LDS Church, 860 East 200 North in Springville.
