He was born November 4, 1957 to Ralph Burk and Helen Burk in Provo, UT. He was proud of the fact that he became an Eagle Scout at the age of 13. Kelly graduated from American Fork High School in 1976. He graduated from UVSC with a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He was married to Jenny Croft on June 2, 1976. They had two children and later divorced. He married Janie Nordblad, the love of his life, on August 9, 1991 in the Los Angeles Temple and had two more children. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church. Kelly served diligently in his church callings, working extensively in the scouting program and most recently in the Elder's Quorum Presidency. He loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycle racing, but his greatest love of all was the time that he could spend with his family, children and their families. Kelly was caring, compassionate and willing to do anything for anyone. He had a great sense of humor and was a joy to be around. He was an extremely hard worker and was currently employed by Comtrol, Inc. (general contractors in Sandy) as a project manager and estimator. Kelly blessed the lives of so many and, in turn, has been blessed with so many close and dear friends and family members who cherish him and will keep him always close and dear to their hearts. Our lives have been blessed and our days enriched for every moment we were able to share with our beloved Kelly. Kelly is survived by his wife, Janie; children, Misty Cox, Orem, Pimerton (Sarah) Burk, American Fork, Breanna Burk and Megan Burk of American Fork; his father, Ralph (Wendy) Burk, Levan; his mother, Helen Burk, Orem; four brothers and three sisters, Brian (Shauna) Burk, Draper, Brent Burk, Fruit Heights, David Burk and Scott Burk, Sharon (Calie) Zobell, Annette (Brian) Russell and Susan Burk, all of Orem, and 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by one brother, Gary Burk and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest LDSChapel, 1120 North 150 West, American Fork. Nelson, Edward Eugene Edward Eugene Nelson, 76, of American Fork, Utah, died Feb. 25, 2005 from complications of pneumonia. Born Oct. 20, 1928 to Nels Edward and Sadie Louise Turner Nelson. He married Kathleen Moore, they later divorced. Married Irene Gull Jacobs April 10, 1990 and later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple on July 2, 1993. He retired from Geneva Steel after 35 years. He loved working with wood and crafts. Survived by his wife; children, Kathy (Ivan) Gull, Steven Nelson, Debbie Nelson Neff, Gaylon Nelson,; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Dee (Gloria) Nelson, Dan (Dee) Nelson, Karl (Patty) Nelson, Tommy (Terry) Nelson; sisters, Rose Kelly, Linda (Bill) Powell; stepchildren, Cindy (Keith) Larsen, Christine (John) McGilvery, ElDonna (James) Jacobs, Wendy (Todd) King, Justin (Anika) Jacobs, Shaelyn Jacobs Shelley; 19 step-grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren. Oliver, Claude Claude Oliver Claude Oliver, age 84, of Provo, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2005 at the Beehive Home in Orem. He was born February 13, 1921 in Thompson, Utah the 7th of 11 children born to Paul and Mabel Burdick Oliver. He married Alice Marie Madsen on December 17, 1956 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. Marie passed away November 12, 2002. Claude served his country in the US Army during World War II. He worked with his father and brothers and operated a watermelon farm in Green River, Utah. He later worked for Broderick and Howell Construction Company and helped to build many of the LDS Churches in Utah County. Claude was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served faithfully in many callings throughout his life. He enjoyed singing and was a member of the Skyline Barber Shop Chorus for many years. Survivors include his children: Tracy (Rick) Hearder of Gypsum, CO and Brett Claude Oliver of Provo and 2 grandchildren: Richard Paul Hearder and Nichole Oliver. He is also survived by his brother and sisters: LaVar (Carma) Oliver of Mapleton, Betty Smith of Ogden, Elaine Hammett of Provo and Carol (Bruce) Bown of Orem and two sisters-in-law Mabel Oliver and Roberta Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie, his parents, three brothers and three sisters: Katherine Marshall, Chester Oliver, Rubye Taylor, Paul Oliver, Frank Oliver and Thelma Oliver. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Edgemont North Stake Center, 2950 North 350 East in Provo. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, and also on Monday at the chapel one hour prior to the services. Redding, Nedra Lucy Hanson Nedra Lucy Hanson Redding On February 16, 2005 one of the sweetest women that ever lived passed peacefully into the arms of her Father in Heaven. Nedra Lucy Hanson Redding, 88, was born on August 20, 1916 in Central, Bannock County, Idaho to Grace and Nels Hanson. She married Albert Redding Jr. on June 16, 1938, and they were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Relief Society and the Primary and performed countless acts of service to all she met. All admired and adored her. She was a loving mother and adoring grandmother. She spent countless hours caring for and playing with children. She loved being a homemaker. There was always a treat in the kitchen. All were welcome to whatever meal was being served in her home and she took many meals to others to lift their spirits. She was a friend to everyone she met. She is survived by her children Randy Redding (Christine), Salt Lake City, Utah, Rob Redding (Cynthia), Edmond, OK, Richard Redding, South Gate, CA, Alene (Terry) Rischer, Boise, ID, Salli Munshaur, Downey, CA, and a daughter-in-law, Vickie Purser, Los Gatos, CA and 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Redding Jr., a son, Rex Redding, a daughter-in-law, Anna Redding, a son-in-law, Jerry Munshaur, a grandson, Ryan; three sisters, a brother, and her parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, at 10:00 am at Berg Mortuary in Provo, 185 E. Center Street. Robbins, Addison Addison Robbins returned to her Heavenly Father on February 23, 2005 after two precious weeks of life. Addison was born February 9, 2005 in Mesa Arizona to William and Melinda Robbins. Addi was able to come home with her parents on February 17th and spent seven wonderful days with them there. Weighing only one pound, fourteen ounces, this tiny girl has a strong spirit and blessed the lives of all she met. Her parents and grandparents were able to hold her around the clock while she was at home and cherished every moment they had with her. Addi is survived by her parents, William Robbins and Melinda Swenson-Robbins of Glendale Arizona; her grandparents Michael and Nancy Swenson of Spanish Fork, and Charles and Kathleen Robbins of Salt Lake City; her great-grandparents Laura Bingham and Paul and Nedra Swenson of Spanish Fork, and Gordon and Afton Miner of Provo, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her parents were blessed with her life and will love and adore her forever. They look forward to the day they will be with her again. Strange, Dawna Sue Dawna Sue Strange, 54, passed away February 24, 2005 in Cedar City, UT. She was born May 24, 1950 in Provo, UT to Dern Strange and Una Nielsen. Dawna was always giving and caring. May you finally be able to do all the things you dreamed of doing. Let it be known that you lived life "your way". Till we see you again. We love you mom. She is survived by her sons Duane "Dewey" Ray Warner of Cedar City, and Jason Chad Warner of Orem; six grandchildren: Jared, Jerome, Gavin, Drake Cassidi, and Gage; brothers Dick, Clint, and Steve; and sisters Pat and Janice.
