Erica was born May 2, 1977, in Nephi Utah to Mark Ronald and Patty Mangelson Jones. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and received her endowment on Saturday, September 7, 2002, in the Manti LDS Temple. She enjoyed serving in the ward and was currently serving as a Sunday school teacher, visiting teaching contact, and ward missionary meal coordinator. She was also a great help, support, and example to her parents in their callings. Erica Graduated from Juab High School in 1995, and was Senior Class President. She graduated From UVSC with an Associate Degree, and was currently seeking a degree at BYU. Erica had many special friends who loved and supported her continually. She attracted people with her contagious smile and personality, and was an inspiration and strength to everyone she met. Her physical limitations became her own and everyone else's strength. She loved her grandparents, parents, sisters, brother-in-laws, brother, nieces and nephews, very much and encouraged them in all that they did. Her favorite thing to do was watch her brother, Casey, play basketball and baseball. She was Juab High School's #1 fan. The family expresses their sincere appreciation and love to the doctors, nurses and staff of Central Valley Medical Center, and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. They also express their appreciation to the East Juab Ambulance crew. She is survived by her parents of Nephi; three sisters and one brother: Monica (Lamar) Howarth, of Santaquin, UT; Jessica (Brett) Woodland, of Provo, UT; Alisha (Jeremy) Lynn, of Mona, UT; and Casey Mark Jones, of Nephi, UT; four nieces and nephews: Toby, Emily, Cody, and Madison; grandparents, Golden and Irene Mangelson, of Levan, UT; and Ronald C. Jones, of Nephi, UT; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Barbara Jones; and a special aunt, MonnaLee Pexton. Funeral services will be Wednesday January 26, 2005, at 11 a.m., in the Nephi Utah North Stake Center, 1125 N. 400 East. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W. 300 North in Nephi; and, one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to 340 N. 300 East, Nephi, UT 84648. The contributions will be donated in Erica's name, to help find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. Published in the Daily Herald on 1/24/2005. Miller, Lora A. Glenn Lora A. Glenn Miller Our sweet little mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2005. She was born March 26, 1920, in Wattis, Utah, a daughter of Leon and Louie Glenn. She married Orrin P. Miller, February 10, 1937, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later, they moved to Payson, Utah, where they spent the rest of their lives. Lora spent her life loving and helping others. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cooking. She worked, and retired, as a school lunch worker in Payson. Later, she was a volunteer at Payson Hospital. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by a brother and sisters: Leon (Carma) Glenn, Louise (Bud) Witt, and Leona (Edward) Miller. She is survived by her children: Leon (Bev) Miller, and Wayne (Diane) Miller; her nine grandchildren: Gina (Troy) Phillips, Sonja (James) Frommelt, Dena (Tony) Galegos, David (Angie) Miller, Dana (Robert) Webb, Paige (Doug) Willes, Kristy (Joseph) Avina, Rod (Maria) Miller, and Jill (Ryan) Wride. She has 19 great-grandchildren. A small service will be Wednesday, January 26, 2005, 1 p.m., at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Stewart, Darrell Earl Darrell Earl Stewart, age 48, passed away January 21, 2005, at his home in Spring Glen, surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with MS and Leukemia. He was born October 26, 1956, in Payson, to Ronald and Ruth Hiatt Stewart. He married Salley Ann Olson, March 18, 1976, in Santaquin; later solemnized in the Provo, Utah LDS Temple. He loved life and being with his family. He enjoyed playing, coaching, and watching sports, basketball being his favorite. He coached for 11 years at Carbon High School, but the job he loved the most was coaching his own children. He is survived by his loving wife, Salley, of Spring Glen; and his children and their spouses: Kellie and Brian Thomas of Tooele, Kara and David Zwahlen of St. George, Tiffany and James Swasey of Price, Cassie and Michael Gledhill of Vernal, Elder Bryan Darrell Stewart, (currently serving in the Chile, Santiago North Mission), Amie and Allie Stewart, both of Spring Glen; and eight grandchildren. Also survived by his parents of Payson; 2 brothers, Douglas Stewart of Payson, and Gary Stewart of Orem; and 2 sisters: Rhonda Aragon of Syracuse, and Melanie Orton of Payson. Tunget, Dolores Evelyn Garl Dolores Evelyn Garl Tunget May 23, 1921 ~ January 22, 2005 Our beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away at home, January 22, 2005, surrounded by family members. Dolores was born May 23, 1921, in Orton, Minnesota. She was the oldest of four children born to Clifford Lee and Elsie Julia Anderson Garl. She married Maurice Norman Tunget on May 2, 1959. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles California Temple. She and Mauri had a deep and eternal love and devotion for one another. That devotion became an even greater example for family members as Dad cared for Mama during her illness this past year. Dolores loved to fish, work in the yard, and spend weekends at the beach. Her greatest joy, however, came from serving others. Hers was a life of selfless love and dedication to others. That was her gift - that was her legacy. Dolores is survived by her loving husband, Maurice; daughters: Lynda (Ralph) Bradley, Carrie (David) Bolda, Tonette (Linn) Daetwiler; brothers, Jimmy and Lee Garl; 25 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Leon Tunget; grandsons, John Michael Lemich and Oren Linn Daetwiler, Jr.; and a sister, Lorna Pearson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26th, at 11 a.m., in the Windsor Stake Center, 60 East 800 North, Orem. Westberg, age 95, of Mapleton, Utah, died January 22, 2005, at East Meadow Care Center in Mapleton. He was born October 26, 1909, in Chicago, Illinois, son of Karl Emil and Amanda (Carlson) Westberg. He married Eva M. Wilberg on April 18, 1936. He was an electrical engineer, a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Engineering, Champaign, Illinois, in 1933. He was employed at Sun Electric Corporation in Chicago, from 1933 until 1957; and, during that time, he advanced to the position of Vice President, in charge of their Engineering and Research Department. In 1957, he started his own manufacturing business, Auto Meter Products Inc. and served as President and then Chairman of the Board. The company was located in Elgin, Illinois, until a move was made to Sycamore, IL. Two branches of the company were then opened in Utah, in 1989. He was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers for forty years. Survivors include his wife, Eva; two sons: John (Nancy) Westberg, of Kingston, IL; Ralph (Pat) Westberg, of Payson, Utah; and one daughter, Barbara (Randall) Clayton, of Mapleton, Utah; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Dorothy Burns, of Wynnewood, OK; and Grace (William) Nameny, of Saratoga, CA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Lawrence, of Chicago, IL; Vivian, of Napa, CA; and Oliver, of Saratoga, CA; three sisters: Lucille Norlin, of Hampshire, IL; Emily Fouts, of Springfield, IL; and Ruth Vallandingham, of Washington. Funeral services will be held at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, UT, at 1 p.m., on January 26, 2005. Visitation will be at Wheeler Mortuary, at Noon, before the funeral.
