Kim R. Arnold Charleston, UT- Our loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and son, Kim R. Arnold, age 49, passed away suddenly of an apparent heart attack on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, in Heber City, Utah. Kim was born March 3, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Lester Jay and Annie Kathryn Turpin Arnold. He married Elaine Soderborg January 13, 1977, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kim was an active member of the LDS Church, serving a mission to New Zealand 1974 - 1976. He also served in many callings throughout his life, most recently as Bishop of the Charleston Ward from 2000 - 2004. Kim was also active in his community. He was a member of the Wasatch County Search & Rescue; the Charleston Town Board for four years; and he owned and operated Kim Arnold Plumbing' for 20 years. He truly enjoyed being outdoors, especially fly-fishing. But more than anything he loved being with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Elaine; six children: Angela (Matt) Fillmore, Bryan (Laura) Arnold, Danielle (Doug) Farley, Kathleen, Spencer and Levi Arnold; mother, Kathryn Cole; mother-in-law, Norma Soderborg-Harris; three brothers: Randy (Vickie), Mike (Sherilyn), Dale (Anna); and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Lester Jay, and father-in-law, Don L. Soderborg. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31, 2005 - 11:00 A.M. in the Charleston LDS Church, 3423 South 3500 West, Charleston, Utah. Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the LDS Church and on Monday from 9:45 - 10:45 A.M. prior to the services also at the LDS Church. Goodell, Boni Lu Boni Lu Goodell, age 50, returned to her loving Heavenly Father on Tuesday morning, January 25th, 2005 after battling cancer. A valiant daughter of God, she had many friends in this life that she loved and that loved her. Born April 28, 1954 in Rapid City, S.D. to Frank Goodell (Springville) and Cara Le Goodell (Lindon). Boni is survived by her parents and brothers and sister: Gary (Mary), Robert, Steve (Theresa), Frank Jr., John, Charles (Roni), and Rebecca Larson (Gene) and extended family who will all miss her. Miller, Nellie Mary Inkelaar Nellie Mary Inkelaar Miller, 85 of Springville, Utah, passed away January 24, 2005. Nellie was born on Dec. 4, 1919 in Wichita, Kansas to Leonardus Thomas Inkelaar and Helen Georgieanna Bums Inkelaar. She was the third of their sixteen children. When she was eighteen, she met her future husband, Phillip Walker Miller, II. She and Phillip were married on July 28, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas and were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on August 7, 1942. While raising their seven children, Nellie received a Bachelor of Science degree and her teaching certificate from Ball State University. She was active in the Relief Society and also taught sewing, tailored suits, and made wedding cakes and wedding gowns for friends and family. Nellie is survived by her seven children and their spouses: Nell (Gerald) Gibb, Phillip (Qudsia) Miller, Linda (Earl) Price, Steven (Carolyn) Miller, Sheila (Milton) Kreischer, Vincent (Sandra) Miller, Christina (Alfredo) Querido, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nine of her siblings: Margareta, Leonardus, Flossie, Dena, Garritt (Jerry), Ruth, Dennis, Walter, and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip after 38 years of marriage, her parents Leonardus and Helen, and her -siblings, Lillian, Helen, Lenora, John, Freddie, and Jacob. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 451 South Main in Springville. There will be a viewing held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville and Monday at the church one hour prior to the services. Mitchell, Robert Dale Robert Dale Mitchell, DDS, passed away January 22, 2005 in Burien, WA of congestive heart failure. He was born on April 13, 1926 in Provo, UT to Arthur Harold and Irva Gardiner Mitchell. He married his high school sweetheart, Rayola Hanseen in the Salt Lake Temple, October 16, 1946. He graduated from Provo High School, Brigham Young University and the University of Washington Dental School. After serving two years as a dentist at West Point Academy, he set up his private dental practice in Seattle, WA. He continued to practice and teach Prothetic at the University of Washington Dental School until the time of his death. Dale is survived by his wife, Rayola of 58 years; two daughters, Diane (John) Merrell, Deborah (Jay) Benner; four sons, David (Julie) Mitchell, Douglas (Kathleen) Mitchell, Daniel (Petra) Mitchell, and Dean (Katherine) Mitchell; 23 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother John Kay Mitchell of Mesquite, NV and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Fay Mitchell Hales. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the LDS Normandy Park Ward, 200 S. 188th Place, Seattle, WA. Friends may call an hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Seattle Police Athletic Association. Published in the Daily Herald on 1/28/2005. Strange, Justin D. Justin D. Strange passed away at the age of 26 on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 of an unknown cause in Spanish Fork, Utah. Justin was born on May 4, 1978 to Tauna Butler and Jesse Strange. Justin devoted his life serving individuals with disabilities. He graduated from the Provo College with a Bachelor's degree in accounting. He loved his work and everyone around him. Never in my life have I met a man so willing to give everything he had in order to help those less fortunate. His father, three grandfathers, and one grandmother has preceded him in death. He lived fabulously in this world by his mother, stepfather, and his brother Tyrail. He also had many relatives and friends that loved and cared for him. The viewing will be held Friday, January 28, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, and on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Salem City Cemetery.
