Worsley, Heidi Heidi Worsley 1966-2005 The brightest light in our life, Heidi Worsley, peacefully left us in her sleep, Sunday July 3rd, 2005, at the young age of 39. Her life was a beacon of joy, service and love to all those she met. She was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her infectious smile and laugh had a way of making everyone feel comfortable, loved and understood. Few people in this life touched as many for good as Heidi. This unexplained passing leaves a void in all of our lives we will not soon understand. Heidi was born in Salt Lake City, UT. The oldest of six children to C. Gill and Francine Jarman (Hofmann) and was preceded in death by her father. She is loved and revered by each of her siblings; Erik (Kim) Sherwood, OR; Kevin (Tiffany) Portland, OR; Ryan, Springville, UT; Greg, Salt Lake City, UT; and Stacy (PJ) Lese, Spanish Fork, UT. Heidi grew up in Lake Oswego, OR. where she was active in sports and many school activities. She later attended Brigham Young University where she graduated with a BA in Human Development. While there, she met and married her husband, Chris Worsley in 1986. Together they were blessed with four beautiful daughters: Janelle (18), Jessica (16), Ryann (13) and Rylie (9). The Worsley family has lived in Orem for 11 years. Heidi has been an active part of her church young women s program and ward and stake levels, grade school and junior high PTA and many other neighborhood activities. Heidi was always on the go, and never said no to an opportunity to serve. Her greatest service was to her family, who she loved deeply and gave her all to each daily. Heidi never aspired to more in her life than to be the best mother she could be. She spent countless hours sewing prom dresses, teaching kids to read, and making our home like a little piece of heaven. She felt every day that her motherhood was a divine calling, and lived that with every ounce of her energy. Heidi had a strong witness of her Heavenly Father s love for her, of His eternal plan of happiness for her and her family, and of a loving Savior that suffered all, that we might live as an eternal family. Her commitment to that testimony was her most glorious possession, and we know that it will be her shield in the eternities.
