She was born on December 4, 1933 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to Loy Arthur Romey and Cora Emma Prickett Romey. She is survived by her husband James W. Byrnes of Lake Shore, five children, Kelly Byrnes, Andrew Byrnes, Nora Toon, Lori Krohn and Donna Fairbanks. She was preceded in death by two infant daughters Belinda Robin and Lisa Jean. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 13th, at 5:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 8497 S. Cedeno, Phyllis Chatterley 1941-2005 Phyllis Chatterley Cedeno, age 64, of Orem, passed away July 11, 2005 after a valiant struggle with cancer. She was born in Cedar City to Clifton and Lillian Jarvis Chatterley. Survivors include her husband Luis Cedeno. Two step-children Vanessa (Jorge) Altamirano, Luis (Grisel) Cedeno Jr., Eight grandchildren: Rebecca, Michell, Emilio, Skylette, Luis, Michael, Christopher and Adam. A beloved sister and brother: Jane (Ryan) Beuhring and John (Vicki) Chatterley and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis graduated from BYU with a degree in Physical Education and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. She taught in CA and UT. She was LDS and served faithfully in many callings including Relief Society President and in various capacities in the Young Women's Program and enjoyed doing temple work. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Orem 3rd Ward Chapel 50 South 800 East in Orem. Viewings: Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street in Orem, and also Thursday one hour prior to the services at the ward chapel. Mecham, Ethel Ethel Mecham The family of Ethel Mecham would like to express gratitude for the kind expressions of sympathy to us at the passing of our mother. We thank the people who helped us care for her, Dr. Scott Smith, Home Health, nurses at the hospital and a special thanks to Pauline Gagnon who was so kind to mom for so many years. Montague, Lois Gourley Lois Gourley Montague, age 86 of Orem, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2005. She was born February 3, 1919 in Springville, Utah to William Clyde and Bessie Averett Gourley. She married David Vernile "Pete" Montague on August 13, 1938 in Springville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple September 12, 1961. He preceded her in death May 26, 1985. Lois lived most of her life in Billings, MT, Ogden and Salt Lake City, Utah. She made many quilts for babies at Primary Children s Medical Center and the University of Utah. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She is survived by two sisters: Jane Evans of Spanish Fork; Wilma (Art) Meredith of Orem; and extended family with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, LaVern Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville. There will be a viewing held at the mortuary Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Peck, Judy Mae Hall Judy Mae Hall Peck, age 58, of Lehi, surrounded by her family, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 11, 2005, after a long battle with MS. She was born June 22, 1947 to Louis J. and Vera Gertrude Offrett Hall. She married Roger Tom Peck Jan. 21, 1966, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Judy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in her many callings. She once belonged to a bowling league and enjoyed playing racketball. She loved sidewalk sale shopping and was always into crafts and tole painting. She was a huge Jazz fan, and was happiest on her skiis, while vacationing in Lake Powell. She looked forward to the annual family deer hunt every year and also loved many outdoor activities. It broke her heart when she had to give-up working in her yard. Survived by her husband, Tom of Lehi and her mother Vera of American Fork, a son, Roger (Missy) Peck, Lehi; daughters, Sandy (Steven) Schoonover, Lehi; Sheri (Dan) Smederovac, Pleasant Grove; 10 grandchildren; brother, Lou (Beverly) Hall, Salt Lake City; twin sister, Joan (Roy) Wanlass, Maui, HI. She was preceded in death by her father, and a nephew, Travis Lehmberg. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 465 E. 300 N., Lehi. Family and friends may call Thursday evening at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi from 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the Church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Heritage Care Center for their kind special care.
