Thomas G. Adams Born 11/13/49 in Beech Grove, Indiana. Died 7/26/05 from Leukemia based complications. Survived by wife, Molly, five sons, two daughters, one son in law, four daughters in law, eight grandchildren, his mother, Vivian Miller, and five siblings. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Orem North Stake Center, 1000 North Main Street, Orem. Viewing from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with funeral beginning at 11:00. Interment at Orem Cemetery upon culmination of the funeral service. He will be especially missed by those who had a chance to know him. They will be used to support his youngest son on his religious mission in Tucson, Arizona. Douglas, 84, our dear husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2005. He was born April 12, 1921 in Payson, Utah to Douglas and Henrietta Madsen Douglas. He was raised in Payson. After graduating from Payson High School, he moved to California where he worked at Douglas Aircraft. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served our country during World War II. After returning home from the Navy, he met and married his sweetheart, Marian Loveless, on September 26, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was active in the LDS Church and served in many capacities including Ward Clerk and Financial Clerk. He was a member of the LionsŐ Club and served as President. Gordon worked as a mechanic and retired in 1983. After retirement, he enjoyed many years of traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a great example to all of us and will be greatly missed. He leaves us all with fond memories of his quick wit and quiet, gentle manner. HeŐs the best! Our family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Bishop and Dr. Frischknecht, and also Rod Newman, Mike Braginton, and Bonnie Ballard for their special care during his extended illness. Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Marian; his sons: Darrell (Kathy), Brian (Colleen); daughter, Cindy; daughter-in-law, Linda; along with 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gary Douglas; a brother, Max M. Douglas; and a sister, Dee Douglas Randolph. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork 2nd Ward Chapel, 98 South Main Street. Lois Larsen Madsen Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Emma Lois Larsen Madsen, slipped peacefully away from us July 27, 2005. We will miss her love, leadership and friendship. Lois was born September 1, 1913 to Emma Petersen and Erastus Snow Larsen in Castle Dale, Utah. She graduated from Central High School in Castle Dale where she was an honor student and member of the Pep Club. She married her highschool sweetheart, Alma Andersen Madsen, on April 21, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with six children and spent most of their married life in American Fork. Alma passed away April 16, 1985. She was active in her community and in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as PTA President of Harrington Elementary School, President of the Cultural Arts Club, President of the Relief Society and Primary, ward and stake chairman for BYU Education Week and receptionist in the Provo LDS Temple. After losing her sight, she inspired her family and everyone she met with her positive attitude. She taught quietly, by example, and emulated the SaviorŐs love. She was a perfect example to her family. Lois will be remembered for her unfailing love and testimony of the Gospel. We will miss her tremendously; she truly was a strength to all who were blessed to be associated with her. Lois is survived by her children: Clifford L. (Lois), Castle Dale; Don L. (Betty), Springville; Calvin A. (Sherry), Murray; Colleen (Michael F.) Manning, South Jordan; Betty Jean (Larry R.)Miner, Highland; Annette, Provo; 25 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; sister, Estelle Reed and brother Vaughn Larsen. Preceded in death by her husband Alma, granddaughter Angela Miner, 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 12 noon in the American Fork 27th Ward, 165 N 350 W under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11:45 at the church prior to services. Interment, American Fork Cemetery. Published in the Daily Herald on 7/29/2005. Schultz, Donald Clifford Donald Clifford Schultz Don, 84, passed away July 27, 2005 in Provo, Utah. He was born Aug 5, 1920 in Salt Lake City. He married Esther Joan Lund in July 1942 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Oct 1942. Don graduated from UCLA, is a veteran of WWII in the Pacific, taught chemistry and coached high school gymnastics. His life-long dream was to retire and purchase a cattle ranch in Oregon. He and his wife were among the first group of missionary couples to go to the Poland LDS Mission. His first grandchild gave him the name Paca by which he was known the rest of his life. He was very devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. Survived by 3 daughters, Connie (Warren) Drohman of Santa Paula, CA; Karen Marjoribanks of Los Angeles, CA; Donna Schultz of Escondido, CA; 2 sons, Ted (Diane) Schultz of Highland, UT; Rod (Carol) Schultz of Orem, UT, 11 grand and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, July 30, 2005 in Highland 6th Ward, 6400 W 11000 N.
