She was born June 11, 1935 in Provo, Utah to Glen and Beulah Ellison Borget. She married Alton Leon Johnson on September 5, 1953 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. Barbara enjoyed watching old movies, reading, crocheting, and she loved to worry about her children. She was a member of the LDS church. She is survived by her seven children: Monica (Brett) King, Broken Arrow, OK, Bryan (Jerilynn) Johnson, Orem, UT, Vance (Hollie) Johnson, Santaquin, UT, Lori Jorgenson, Santaquin, UT, Johnny (Shawna) Johnson, Mona, UT, Sharon (Derid) Kunz, Lehi, UT; and Brenda (Glen) Miller, Taylorsville, UT; 23 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Leon Johnson, a sister, Carol Loveless, two children, Alton Glen (Tom) Johnson and Julynn A. Schwartz, a son-in-law, Kevin Schwartz, a grandson, "DJ" Kunz, and great-grandson, Ethan Scott Johnson. She will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berg Mortuary Drawing Room Chapel, 185 E. Center Street, Provo, Utah. Larsen, Nicholas Isaiah Nicholas Isaiah Larsen 11/24/82 - 6/13/05 Nicholas Isaiah Larsen was born November 24, 1982 in Carmichael, California to Dan Carl Larsen and Dianna Lynn Hardin. He was taken from us in a motorcycle accident June 13, 2005. Graduating from Foothill High School, a member of the Jr. ROTC, he later enlisted in the United States Army. A kind-hearted person with a strong desire to serve others, he was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed spending much of his time outdoors. Survived by his siblings, Olivia (Kevin), Dan II (Rebekah), Joshua (Cassandra), Sarah, Rebecca, and Amanda; grandparents Merrill and Beverly Larsen and Donald and Marianne Hardin. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday, 18 June 2005, at the LDS Church on 7350 South 1300 West, West Jordan. The viewing will be between 1-1:45 p.m., with a ceremony following from 2-3:00 p.m. His body will be laid to rest at 4 p.m. in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, in Orem, Utah. Linton, Kennedy 2003 - 2005 Kennedy Linton, age 20 months, the beautiful and loved daughter of Ryan Scott and Laura Linton, passed away in her parents arms Tuesday, June 14, 2005 from brain cancer. She was born September 26, 2003 in American Fork, Utah. Kennedy was our amazing little spirit. She loved everything about life! Her spunky personality was with her since the day she was born and she made an impact on everyone that she met. She made friends everywhere by walking up to anyone, whether person or animal , pointing to something and trying to carry on a conversation in her own little language. She loved animals, always wanting to see the cats at "pa's" house and her many trips to the zoo. Watching her the last 7.5 months of fighting her cancer she was amazingly strong and taught us so much about life. She was the center of our world and the joy she brought us will continue on to the next life. The love we have for her is infinite and we can't wait til we can be with our little angel again. Kennedy is survived by her parents, Ryan Scott Linton and Laura Dickey Linton; grandparents, Dr. Dale Linton and Stephanie Linton; Dr. Glenn Dickey and Valerie Dickey, and all the great-grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Foothill Ward Chapel, 4275 South Bountiful Blvd., Bountiful, Utah. The viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Scott, Lois Woodward Vasey Lois Lucille Vasey Scott, 96, died at her home in Courtyard At Jamestown, Tuesday, 14 June 2005. She was born 24 August 1908, to Alonzo R. and Alta Stanley Woodward in Corning, Iowa. In 1918, the family, which now included her sister Leslie and baby brother Ralph, moved to a farm near Moreland, Idaho. Lois exhibited her independence early by riding her horse "Beauty" to school. She attended the University of Iowa. On 6 June 1936, she married Harold Vasey in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he was employed. Here she gave birth to a baby boy named Teddy, in compliance with the wish of her grandfather who greatly admired Teddy Roosevelt. They moved to Montrose, Colorado, in 1939, where Harold became City Manager until 1941, when he was employed in Washington, D.C. and made their home in Bethesda, Maryland.. In 1946, Harold became City Manager of Brookfield, Missouri, one of nine cities where he served as City Manager. Lois was involved with church activities, Red Cross, United Fund and filling in at the office when someone was absent. This was the pattern for the remainder of their 29 year marriage. Harold died in 1965. On 14 December 1973, she married John Scott in Cincinnati and moved to his home in Winslow, Arizona, where they met years before when Harold was City Manager there and John was Mayor. In a 24 foot trailer, they traveled extensively, camping wherever the fishing seemed best, and John was pleasantly surprised to find Lois adept as a fishing "Buddy." They sold their home in Winslow and bought a mobile home in Park Moabi, east of Needles, California and enjoyed the climate and fishing in the Colorado River. Her sister Leslie and husband Luke were also part-time residents there and shared many happy times together. On 26 February 1996, Lois's son, Ted, died.. On 18 March 1999, Lois's kind husband, John Scott, died. Three years ago she moved to Provo, living first at Seville Retirement Residence then at Summerfield until November, 2004, when she moved to Courtyard At Jamestown. She is survived by a very special niece, Carol Woodward (Ed) Schwab, New Brighton, MN; Ted's son, Jonathon Vasey, Chicago and his daughters, step-son, John Lewis Scott, Winslow, AZ; Betty Scott, Wenatchee, WA; step-daughter, Lorraine Underwood, Pinckney, MI; sister, Leslie W. (Luke) Bloxham, Downey, Idaho and brother, Ralph (Mary) Woodward, Provo and several adoring grand-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 18 June 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem. Family and friends may visit from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Hills, Provo.
