Born March 3, 1920 in American Fork, Utah, the son of Warren Fielding and Millie Thornton Anderson. He married Maurine Spafford June 28, 1941 in American Fork. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Glen was educated at the LDS Business College and at San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, he was a licenced Funeral Director. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years during WWII seeing action in North Africa and Italy. In 1939 he started in banking as the Custodian later serving as President of the Bank of American Fork and retired as the Vice Chairman of the Board in 2004. He served on the American Fork City Council, two terms as Mayor of American Fork, and two terms as a State Legislator. He served as Director, Vice President, and President of the American Fork Rotary Club and served for 14 years on the American Fork Hospital Board including a term as Chairman. Glen was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions including in a Bishopric. He was an avid gardener, and enjoyed horseback riding, and snowmobiling in American Fork Canyon. Survivors include, his wife two daughters and a son: Mrs. George (Trudy) Casteleiro, Arlington, TX; Mrs. Fred (Christine) Fairclough, Salt Lake City; David (Marie) Anderson, American Fork; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 4th Ward, 455 East 300 North. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Anderson, Nicholaus James Nicholaus James Anderson Our loving son and brother, Nicholaus James Anderson, 20, of Salem, Utah, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2005. He was born September 22, 1984 in Orem, Utah to Timothy Andrew and Teresa Lynn Fountain Anderson. Nick attended Spanish Fork High School and was currently attending U.V.S.C. Institute. He was employed as a customer service representative at MyFamily.com. He enjoyed playing baseball and hockey. He liked music, poetry, songwriting, figure skating, classic literature, Hip-Hop music, old movies, and girls. He served as a volunteer for Special Olympics. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he was an Elder. He served as Home Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, and Priesthood Teacher. Nick is survived by his parents, Tim and Teri Anderson of Salem; three brothers and four sisters: John and Jessica Freund of St. Paul, Minnesota, and James, Katie, Mindy, Matthew, and Myleigh Anderson, all of Salem. He is also survived by Helen Claypool, Brian, Jeff, and Larry Claypool, Jr., Larry Claypool, Sr., Michele Olek, Frances Titus, Denise Bell, Kim Fountain, Melissa Fountain, and Ronnie Fountain. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ronald Fountain and George Anderson; great grandparents, Sam and Evelyn Falise, and Anita and Albert Fountain; and two brothers, Scott and Joseph Freund. We'll miss the twinkle in your eyes, the cutting wit, laughing with you til we cried, and hearing the words, "Hello, family" as you burst through the door. We may grieve for our great loss, but, we rejoice in the mission your Heavenly Father has called you home to fulfill. Brace yourself Heaven, you have one great missionary coming your way! Don Staheli Cloward, 89, of Canyon, Texas, passed away peacefully at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Amarillo, Texas on Sunday morning, March 6, 2005. Don was very fortunate to live a full, active, and independent life until a recent illness. He was lovingly cared for in his daughters home in Amarillo until the evening prior to his passing. He was born May 29, 1915 in Payson, Utah, the son of Tom and Laura Staheli Cloward. He married Ruth Hayes of Spanish Fork on July 31, 1934; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 18, 1967. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He owned and operated multiple restaurants from 1929 until his retirement in 1974. After that, he worked as a security guard for Owens Corning and Bank of the Southwest. He was called "The Singing Chef" because he loved to sing and had a beautiful voice that everyone enjoyed. Don is survived by his daughter, Betty Jo (Buddy) Shelton of Texas; his son, Don H. Cloward of Indiana; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 38 greatgreat-grandchildren; his dear sister, Rhea Cloward McBeth of Payson (the last surviving sibling of seven brothers and sisters); as well as many other extended family members throughout the Wasatch area and beyond. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Peggy Jones; brothers: Max (Blanche, dec.), Wells (Myrle, dec.), "T.J." (Joyce), and Glen; and sister, Lisle (Lee, dec.) Thomas. Funeral services were held at Don's home LDS Ward in Canyon, Texas on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. His son, Don, and grandson, Cody, transported him back to Utah so he could be interred next to Ruth at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. On Thursday, March 10, 2005 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. friends are invited to join the family for a viewing at Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork; and directly thereafter, a short (but sweet) farewell tribute and interment at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East. Our dear Don will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was such a high-spirited happy person who shared his many talents freely. His sister, Rhea, will especially miss his wonderful support and the daily phone calls just to say "I love you". We all love YOU, too, Don. Guest Book Flowers Charities Jolley, Faye Stewart Faye Stewart Jolley Our Mother, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2005 of causes incident to age. She was born January 9, 1915 in Payson, Utah the eldest child of Edward Earl and Augusta Jane Hiatt Stewart. Faye married Malcolm A. Jolley September 18, 1934 in Salt Lake City and was sealed for time and eternity September 20, 1939 in Manti, Utah. Faye grew up in Eureka, Utah and spent most of her married life in Elberta, Santaquin, and Payson. In Elberta, she was crew chief for her sons as they operated a family farm. In 1959, they moved to Santaquin where Faye and Malcolm ran Jolley's Market. She really enjoyed visiting with all the residents. After moving to Payson, Faye volunteered at Mountain View Hospital as a pink lady and later worked there for several years. Faye was a active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and served in various positions in Relief Society and Primary and as a long time member of the Ward choir. She is survived by five sons, Arthur Ray (Cherise), Jerry (Sheila), Stewart (Suzanne), Dean (Celia) and Darrell (Cora), 18 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren, 14 Great-Great-Grand children and two sisters Ruby Averett and Merlene Erickson. Preceded in death by her eternal companion Malcolm Jolley, parents, two sisters and 3 brothers. McInelly, Gaylon Ray Ephraim: Gaylon "Ray" McInelly passed away March 5, 2005 at home. Born November 4, 1941 to Lytho and Cecilia Ilean Draper McInelly in Ephraim, UT. He is survived by his wife Deanna "Jean" Stevens McInelly; children, Gaylon "Lennie" & wife Penny McInelly of Provo, UT; Ed & his wife Shelly McInelly of Phoenix, AZ; Jodi & husband Pete Brunson of Fayette, UT; 11 grandchildren, Brezzy Jean & husband Shawn Braitwaite, Ashley, Misty and Gaylon III(Lennie) Jr., Zack, Megan, Laveda "Annie" & husband Vince Christensen, Aaron, Travis, Randy and Marrisa; 2 great grandchildren, Ryland & Ryder Christensen; sisters, Frieda St. Germaine and Shiela & husband Gary Olsen of Ephraim, UT. Preceded in death by his parents, Mac & Ilean; brothers, LaVell & LaDale McInelly. Ray had a great love for his family, he enjoyed a great love for roses, which he spent countless hours growing for his beloved wife. Until his illness would no longer allow him to care for them. He is survived by his wife, Audra; two children, Kyler and Callie; his parents, Ron and Gwen Mosher; and his brother, David (Jodi) Mosher. He and his wife have been married for nine years. He was a loving husband, son, father, and brother. He was an LDS Sunday School teacher, who loved all of God's children. He was an avid mountain biker and outdoorsman. He will be dearly missed. Nielsen, Bertha Olsen Bertha Olsen Nielsen If you have lived in southwest Provo in the past 91 years, Bertha probably knew you and your parents, who you married and where you lived. She also cared about you. This corner of Provo was Bertha's world and she loved it. She left this world March 6, 2005 to join her husband, Joy Woodruff Nielsen. She was born February 6, 1914, into the Provo Second Ward in the home of her parents, Ole E. and Sarah Ellen "Nellie" Jones Olsen. Although the Provo Second Ward boundaries were divided and re-divided over the years, she spent her entire life in the Second Ward. Her brothers and sisters are: LeRoy J. and Hildred Olsen, Marion and Leona Olsen, Horace Olsen, Jack and Mabel Westphal, Bert and Elda Olsen, Leon and Ardith Nielsen, Ralph and Phyllis Olsen. Ardith, Leon, Bert and Phyllis are living. A special thank-you goes to Ardith for the kindness and care given to her sister over the years. She married Joy Woodruff Nielsen in the Salt Lake Temple. They leave a posterity of five children, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Their children are: Lewis A. "Bud" (deceased) and Hildred Anderson of Orem, DeAnn Nielsen of Cedar Hills, Brent and Pam Nielsen of Sandy, Bert and Charla Nielsen of Gridley, California, and Greg and Linda Nielsen of Lafayette, Louisiana. Bertha loved and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ. She served in many church callings including Jr. Sunday School Teacher; Teacher, Counselor and President in the YWMIA; Counselor and Secretary for many years in the Relief Society. She also served as a Temple Worker in the Provo Temple. She was proud of her pioneer heritage. Her grandfather, Albert Jones, came to Utah in the Martin-Tyler handcart company. She honored his memory as she served as an Officer in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Camp #3. Her patriotism and desire to serve was expressed as she served as a Judge of Election for many years and volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Utah Valley Hospital. While devoting most of her time to her family, she also found time to belong to the Sewaco Card Club that was formed in the early 1930s and continues to this day. She also enjoyed friends in other clubs and in the Good Sam Trailer Club. She was a great supporter of BYU sports and had season football and basketball tickets for many years. Her family wishes to extend their gratitude to her daughter, DeAnn, who saw to her every need for many years and kept her life full, fun and interesting. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Berg Mortuary Drawing Room Chapel, 185 E. Center Street, Provo, Utah. Pugh, Kelly Kelly Pugh, our father and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2005 of natural causes. He will be remembered for his generous nature and kind heart as he often supported his children and grandchildren on missions and other endeavors. Kelly was born on April 15, 1921 in Kanab, Utah. Kelly and his twin brother Robert were the welcome 10th and 11th children of the 12 children of Edward Kelly Pugh and Annie Christina Englestead-all of which preceded him in death. They rejoice to have their last boy home! Kelly served in the United States Army during World War II, returned with honor, and graduated from BYU with a degree in sociology. Kelly taught at Bolsa Grande High School in California for many years. He will be remembered as the driver's education teacher by his students and by their children and grandchildren. Kelly also worked for Anaheim Park and Recreation Department for many years. The people at the parks became his friends. It can truly be said of Kelly, "He never met a stranger". Kelly married Lucy May Viklund on January 6, 1949. They are the parents of five children: Craig, Maridee, Brent, Walt, and Jeff. They are the grandparents of 11 grandchildren: Walter Jr., Bradley, Michelle, and Cody Kelly; Jeffrey Taylor; Stephanie, Amy, Garrett, Karyn, Spencer, and Luke Beeston. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 673 South Yorba, Orange, California. Graveside services will also be held on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah.
