Irene was born in Okemah, OK, to James P. and Alma Dabbs, on March 5, 1916, and came to California when she was about 18 years old. She spent most of her life in Santa Rosa, and Soquel, CA, and then moved to Payson, UT, about ten years ago. She had a love of nature, was an avid gardener, and liked to bird watch. She loved to read, and was very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. Irene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Irene married Clarence C. Aaron in March of 1937, then divorced after 17 years of marriage. She later married Eugene Finn, July 1954, and they were divorced in 1965. Irene is survived by her four children: Diane Langford of Mexico; Marilyn Willis of Mexico; Kathleen Aaron of Payson, UT; and Christopher C. Aaron of Bolivia; sisters: Mildred Shelton of Cupertino, CA; Ruby Dabbs, of Georgia; Audley Dabbs of Deer Park, CA; and Lillian Aldrich of Soquel, CA; 34 grandchildren, 138 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 11 a.m., at the Payson Mountain View 8th Ward Chapel, 681 E. 500 North, Payson, UT, where friends and family may call at the church on Wednesday from 9-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery. Doris Almira Harrison Halverson, 90, passed away on March 17, 2005, at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah, from heart failure. She and her twin brother, Douglas, were born in Provo, Utah, on April 25, 1914, to Richard Eugene and Jonena Bjarnson Harrison. Their father was drowned in the Green River when the twins were one year old and their older brother, John, was three. The three were teenagers before their mother married Hyrum Littlefield. Doris graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1932. In 1934, she traveled to Los Angeles, CA, to be a nanny for a Jewish family. She met Merrill F. Halverson, of Mapleton, on a blind date, in 1935. They were married on May 21, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, on September 3, 1952. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in May of 1986. Merrill passed away on December 20, 1986. Doris was so very proud to be an Icelander. She was very active in the church; Relief Society teacher for many years, held many positions in the M.I.A., a Cub Scout Den Mother, in charge of the quilting in Relief Society, Ward Librarian for eight years. In 1987, at the age of 73, she learned to operate a computer so she could do data entry for the church. She was a charter member of Camp Union of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers in Mapleton; a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center in Springville for 18 years and was in charge of the quilting for a few years, until she lost her vision. She cherished all the many friends that she made through the years. She loved all the Senior Citizen bus trips. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Barbara H. Kissel, Mapleton; two sons: Boyd and Judy Halverson, Axtell, UT; and Edward Joe and Brenda Halverson, Wichita, Kansas; a son-in-law, Glade Steele, Arkansas; 26 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter due in May 2005; also, by a great many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Franklin Halverson; her son, Dick Andrew Halverson; her daughter, Rosemarie Halverson Steele; and two grandsons, Bradd and Kevin Halverson; also, by her parents, step-father, and brothers, John and Douglas. Funeral services will be held on March 22, 2005, at the Mapleton 12th Ward Church, 475 North 1600 West, Mapleton, UT, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, UT, on Monday, March 21, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m.; and, again, on Tuesday morning from 9-10:30 a.m. at the church in Mapleton. Keele, Helen Jo (Judy) Helen Jo (Judy) Rogers Keele, of Provo, passed away at home on Thursday, March 17, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 26, 1941, in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Richard Edward Rogers and Hazel Hall Rogers. She married Thomas N. Keele on June 3, 1967, in the Manti LDS Temple. Judy graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then earned a Master's Equivalency Degree through BYU, the University of Utah and Southern Utah University. Judy was a kindergarten teacher in the Alpine School District and taught at Geneva Elementary. Judy dedicated her life to teaching children and was a recipient of the Golden Apple Award. She retired after 28 years. Judy loved watching t.v. news magazine shows and home and garden programs. She enjoyed cooking for her family and did so until the very end. She loved scrapbooking, doing crafts, and decorating her home. Her most valued possession was her wall of family pictures. Her final endeavor was creating memory pages for each of her grandchildren. Judy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her four daughters: Karlene (Eric) Carper, of Eagle Mountain, Utah; Kimberli (Robert) Fulton, of Provo, Utah; Karalee (Brad) Fletcher, of Simi Valley, California; and Shirlene (Jared) Olson, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and sixteen grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, Richard Rogers, of Provo, Utah; and her sister, Barbara Grant, of Jacksonville, Florida. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice for Utah for their loving care and support. Prue, Fornia M. Peterson Fornia M. Peterson Prue, 89, passed quietly away on March 18, 2005, in Payson, Utah. She was born to Charles A. and Petrea Peterson on May 2, 1915, in Fairview, Utah. She married Kent A. Prue on October 6, 1936, in Heber, Utah, and spent thirty-nine years with him, until he passed away in 1976. She was sealed to him for time and eternity in August of 1979. She graduated from Lincoln High School. She settled in Lakeview, Utah, in 1948, and lived on the Sandhill Road for forty-plus years. She worked with the Cub Scouts, school PTAs and wrote the Lakeview/Vineyard Community column for the Daily Herald for many of those years. She helped establish and was active in the Lakeview Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved her work at Merribee's in Orem and for several years had the opportunity to teach and share her love of crafts with the many friends she met there. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the time she was able to spend doing name extractions. The last few years, she remained an avid reader, and rested her eyes from reading and working on her always present needlepoint or crocheting projects. She was always there with her loving attitude and generous spirit, not only for her children and grandchildren, but all their friends who still call her "Mom" or "Grandma." She is survived by her seven sons and two daughters: William K. (JoAnn) Prue, of Orem; Richard A. (Judy) Prue, of Fairview; Jesse R. (MaryAnn) Prue, of North Carolina; Gerald L. (Patricia) Prue, of Philadelphia, PA; LaRae Prue, of Santaquin; Charles V. (Nita) Prue, of Spanish Fork; David R. (Lucille) Prue, of Lake Shore; Denise (Douglas) Rohbock, of Santaquin; and Doren (Cherie) Prue, of Orem; 22 grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren. She was the oldest of fifteen, and is survived by the following siblings: Duglas Peterson, Ardith Pace, Buena (Blaine) Moore, Phyllis (Jack) Walker, Thora Bills, Dale J. Peterson, Charles (Ted) Dart, Emily (Ray) Wilson, and Glenna Romero; she is also survived by sisters-in-law, Clara Peterson, Mary Prue, and Marion Leingang. She was preceded in death by her husband, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and a multitude of others who are now engaged in a loving family reunion. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 11 a.m., at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East, Provo. Revoir, Lloyd Edwin Lloyd Edwin Revoir, husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away March 18, 2005, at his home, of natural causes. Lloyd was born August 20, 1934, in Provo, Utah, to Joseph Edwin and Eddavine Ewell Revoir. Lloyd's parents died when he was young; and, he and his brothers were lovingly taken in by Rose Bona. He married Shirlene Riding on October 7, 1955. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. Lloyd was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including high priest secretary, councilor, and faithful home teacher. Lloyd was a very hard worker all of his life. He worked as a sheep rancher; and then, for 20 years in the agriculture department at the Utah State Prison; he also served as the Director of Agriculture. Lloyd farmed after he retired and grew the best tomatoes in Utah. His beautiful yard and garden were his pride and joy. Family was the most important thing in his life. He was honest, giving, and loved by many. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Shirlene Revoir, Mapleton; children: Randy (Terese) Revoir, of Nephi; Diane (Steve) Johnson, of American Fork; Denise (Neil) Jacobson, of Henderson, NV; Susann (John) Brinkerhoff, of Springville; Mary (Bryan) Ady, of Indianola; Becky (Brandon) Adams, of Mapleton; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; also, his brothers: Joseph Larry Revoir, of Klamath Falls, Oregon; Robert L. Revoir (Suzanne), of Fairview; sister, Mary-Alice Revoir, of Roy, Utah; and brother in-law, Robert Riding (Bonnie) Salem. A viewing will be held on Monday, March 22, 2005, at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 North, Mapleton from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2005, at the Heritage LDS Chapel at 1600 N.
