She was born on July 19, 1956 in Los Angeles California to Iva Jean Danklef Watts. She attended Lehi High School where she was honored as Prom Queen. She married Stephen Michael Neves Jr. on March 16, 1979, they later divorced. La La loved her children, grandchildren and friends very much. She was always a kind, caring & giving person even up until she left this mortal life; she proved that by being an organ donor. Her children were able to help her fulfill her final wishes by donating her organs to those in need. She is survived by her mother, Iva Jean Danklef Watts; her 3 children Natalie Walker (James), Michelle Neves & Kylon Neves (Kara); 7 grandchildren Darrien , Connor Aldon, Patrick, Connor James, Aubreyann, Anthony & Arianna. Due to her wishes of cremation there will not be a viewing, however a memorial service will be held in her honor on Monday May 23, 2005 at 11 am, LDS Chapel 942 North 500 East Pleasant Grove. The family would like to thank the staff of University of Utah's Neurological Critical Care department for their love, care & concern of mom and our family in our time of need. Nielsen, Clara May Nash Clara May Nash Jesperson Nielsen Clara May Nash Jesperson Nielsen, 92 loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on May 16, 2005. May was born on a dry farm outside of Aberdeen, Idaho, May 23, 1912 to Albert Theodore Nash and Clara Derbyshire. She was married to William L. Jesperson on May 1933, and to Lester H. Nielsen on April 1975 (both deceased) She was dedicated in all she did for her family and church, including returning to college at the age of 45, getting her English degree from San Diego State University to teach school, and serving two missions, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with her second husband. She did everything the Lord asked of her and was dearly loved by all who knew her. Surviving her are nine children, four step-children, 69 grandchildren, 130 great-grandchildren and 20 great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 2005 at Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be Sunday night from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment Wasatch Lawn, Salt Lake City, Utah. Published in the Daily Herald on 5/21/2005. Wilds, Lucy Hazel Lucy Hazel Wilds Lucy Hazel Wilds, 86, passed away May 19, 2005. She was born January 25, 1919, in Comer, GA, to Thomas Clinton Patton and Olian Clodfelter. Lucy moved to Lindon in 1981 to be closer to her only child and family. Lucy was proud of her southern heritage. Friends often called on her to hear her southern accent, which she never lost. Lucy is known for her hospitality and southern cooking. Lucy loved to quilt and crochet. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, J.T. Patton; and her daughter, Amanda Gail Jacklin. Lucy was able to see her posterity grow over the last 14 years from five grandchildren to twenty great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Vinnie (Frank) Fleming; Comer, GA; sister-in-law, Claudine Patton, Paoli, GA; son-in-law, Roy (Eileen) Jacklin, Lindon, UT; grandchildren: David (Ava), Mike (Shelia), Justin (Shelley), Erik (Ann) Jacklin, and Emily (Wynn) Wilkes, and several nieces and nephews in Georgia. Lucy's great grandchildren were the light of her life: Andrew, Chloe, Seth, Luke, Durham, Holden, Corbin, Cameron, Griffin, Kaycee, Reed, Coleman, Janey, Abigail, Amanda, Brady, Spencer, Ward and Jacklyn. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 23, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in the Lindon 19th Ward Chapel, 731 East Center, Lindon. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove; and, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
