She was born June 24, 1961, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to Charles Burtis and Bonnie Carol Baker Robbins. She married Gregory Dean Allan on July 14, 1979, in the Manti Temple. She attended schools in Springville, and graduated from Springville High School in 1979. She worked at various jobs, including Associates Finance, Orem City Utility Office, owner of Achievement Club Day Care, Allan Preschool, and Chris' Creative Curriculum. Chris then finished her career in childcare and went to work for Provo City in the Facilities Office. Chris moved over to the Provo City Library at Academy Square as the Events Coordinator, a job which she loved and was very dedicated to. As an active member of the LDS Church she held numerous positions where she served in both the Relief Society and Primary Presidency. She was also a member of the Utah County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Corporate Alliance, and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Chris enjoyed many hobbies, including antique restoration, scuba diving, and traveling throughout the Caribbean. Her greatest love was her sweetheart and her children. She is survived by her husband, and children: Gregory Dean Allan, Bonnie Jean (Cole) Okelberry, Jeffory Dean Allan, and Alexander Burtis Allan, all of Springville. She is also survived by her father, C. Burtis (Lenore) Robbins, of Centerville; sisters: Carrie R. (John) Booth and Cathie R. (Dave) Erickson, both of Springville; brother, William Burtis (Rixt) Robbins, of Holladay; grandmother, Christine W. Baker, of Provo; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Carol Baker Robbins; grandfathers, William A. Baker and Melvin Burtis Robbins; and grandmother, Mildred Marie Robbins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at 11 a.m., in the LDS Chapel at 55 North Main in Springville. There will be a viewing held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville; and, Tuesday, at the church one hour prior to the services. Skipworth, Ernest Milbourn Ernest Milbourn Skipworth "Beloved Gardner" Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, Ernest Milbourn Skipworth, age 89, passed away on May 25, 2005. Mel was born November 26, 1915, in Grimsby, England, to James Ransom and Annie Maria Field Skipworth. He was married for 65 years to his sweetheart, Luella Cummings. They were married on December 22, 1939, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in two bishoprics, on the High Council, and taught Seminary. He also worked in the Jordan River Temple for 18 years. He received his bachelor's degree from BYU and his master's degree from Southern Oregon College. He designed and was head of the Procedures Division for Geneva Steel Company. He was principal of the Phoenix High School in Phoenix, Oregon, and taught math at Cyprus High School. He kept himself busy with his handyman projects. He loved tending his beautiful gardens, flowers, and ponds. Skippy lived for fishing and hunting with his family and friends and his buddies, Bessie and Ray and Amy and Leonard. He baked his oatmeal chocolate chip cookies year round. Christmas won't be the same without his special sausage breakfast, his fruitcakes, and hand-dipped chocolates. Survived by his wife, Luella; daughter, Sharee Bross; grandchildren: Steven (Linda) Bross and Mark Bross; great grandsons: Christopher, Jerami, Joshua, Matthew, and Michael; sister, Erma Fisher; sister-in-law, Merle McCausland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Leslie and Louis (Afton) Skipworth; sisters, Ivy (Douglas) Allred and Thelma; in-laws, Neff Fisher, Bessie & Ray Calderwood, Amy & Leonard "Speck" Giles and Jim McCausland. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at 11 a.m., at the Taylorsville Gardens 1st Ward, 4200 South 1900 West. Wakefield, Brandon Lansing Brandon Lansing Wakefield Our little angel, Brandon, was born April 19, 2005. He peacefully passed away in the arms of his parents, May 26, 2005. He touched the lives of many and was a blessing in our lives. He taught us so much in his short stay here on earth. We know we will see him again, and await that blessed reunion. Brandon is survived by his parents, Todd and Alison (Kennington) Wakefield, of Pleasant Grove; his sisters, Kayla and Sydnee Wakefield; grandparents, Lanny and Alice (Mackay) Wakefield, and Kirk and Karren (Orchard) Kennington. We want to thank all the doctors and nurses for everything they did to help Brandon, and for giving us a few precious weeks with him. Warner, Lorraine Hiatt Lorraine Hiatt Warner Irene Lorraine Hiatt Warner, 55, of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah. Lorraine was born December 1, 1949, in Payson, Utah, to Ray and Maurine Gardner Hiatt. She married Steven Blair Warner on March 31, 1972, in Payson, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple on September 25, 2004. Lorraine graduated from Payson High School. She received her RN degree from Weber State College. She was employed at Mountain View Hospital for over 28 years, working in the operating room. While there, she made many special friends. She loved working on crafts and making things for other people. She filled her home with many collectible antiques. Lorraine especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, and enjoyed their many family vacations together. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Steven, of Spanish Fork; three daughters: Kristie (Burke) Taylor, of American Fork; Charlyn (Ryan) Roberts, of Salina; Anajean (Ben) Niederhauser, of Springville; and three grandchildren: Logan Taylor, Landon Taylor, and Emree Taylor. She is also survived by her father, Ray Hiatt, of Payson; one sister and three brothers: Sylvia Kennedy, of Orem; Grant Hiatt, of Payson; Vernon Hiatt, of Payson; Noel Hiatt, of Elk Ridge; and mother-in-law, Betty Hone, of Spanish Fork. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maurine G. Hiatt; and her twin sister, Lucille McMullin. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at 11 a.m., in the Spanish Fork Meadowlark 2nd Ward Chapel, 870 East Canyon Road. Friends and family may call on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork; and, on Tuesday, at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
