He died at his home in Provo on October 28, 2005. Nathan was a man of many talents and a memorable sense of humor. He was a gifted artist and a brilliant photographer, among many other talents. He spent many years working in the printing industry both in Utah and California, and was an award-winning lithographer. His name was well known among local artists for the incomparable work he did in premium quality fine art reproductions. His passion was centered in portraits of Christ. Nathan is survived by his son, Kellen Barney of California, currently attending BYU; his father, Arnold Barney of Provo; one brother, Dennis (Robyn) Barney, of Roy, Utah; and three sisters, Suzie (Edwin) Jenkins and Janet Johnson of Provo, and Anita (Vince) Stansfield of Alpine. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center Street. Published in the Daily Herald on 11/1/2005. Battiloro, Michael Anthony 1975-2005 Michael Anthony Battiloro passed away suddenly on October 30, 2005. The preliminary cause of death was an enlarged heart and congestive heart failure. Michael was born in Provo, UT July 11, 1975. He is survived by his son Nikolas, his parents Tony and Marina, sisters Brooke and Katie, brother Luke (Joanna), his grandmother Margaret Huckfeldt, and his fiancee Rachael Oldroyd. He was an exceptional student and earned an academic scholarship to BYU. He graduated from BYU with a BS degree and was currently enrolled in an MBA program at the U.of U. As the oldest of four, he was the responsible big brother who always did what was right, was helpful and set a good example. Michael was a concerned and loving father who treasured the time with his son Nikolas, his pride and joy. Nik's well being was his number one priority. It was important to Michael to pass on his love of learning to his son Nik. He spent countless hours reading to Nik and working on his homework projects. They shared many activities outdoors such as swimming and hiking all over Utah. Although Nik is still young, the seed that bonds a father and a son has already flowered. His parents and siblings will always remember and cherish all of the laughter and love he brought to them. His passing leaves a great void in all our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations toward a scholarship fund for Michael's son Nikolas Battiloro. Brandon, Colby Thomas "Gone Too Soon" Colby Thomas Brandon, 21, of Pleasant Grove passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30, 2005. He was born November 15, 1983 in Provo to Ron and Sue Randall Brandon. Colby married Donnetta Wood on April 4, 2003 in Mt. Pleasant. Colby grew up in Orem and attended Timpanogos High School. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and four-wheeling with family and friends. Colby was known to fix and build anything and everything. He loved creating stereo systems for friends and planned to make this a career. Colby had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his family dearly and was a big man with a big tender heart. Brotherson, Anna Edna Our dear sweet mother, grandmother and sister, Anna Edna Brotherson, 89, returned to Heavenly Father October 30, 2005 in Mt. Pleasant, UT. She was born the second of five children at home in Wales, Utah to Anna Margretha Anderson and Ephraim T. Thomas on April 22, 1916. She spent her youth in Wales where she attended school and spent many happy days developing life long friendships. She later graduated with honors from the LDS Seminary and Moroni High School. She met her sweetheart Grant B. Brotherson and was married on Aug 15, 1940 and later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on January 15, 1952. They spent most of their married life in Mt. Pleasant where they raised their 3 children. Our mother was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served faithfully in many church callings. She loved children. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. She loved spending time visiting with her family, friends and neighbors. She was blessed with a keen mind and had an excellent memory. She always remembered special dates and events. She loved to sew quilt blocks, read, write letters, and spent numerous hours doing geneology. She loved flowers and could name them all. She loved her family and looked forward to the family get togethers. She didn't miss a blessing, baptism or wedding. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and read to them often. She is survived by her children, Leon (Alma) Brotherson, West Jordan, UT; Jean (Jerry) Beck, Fountain Green, UT and Terry (LuCinda) Brotherson, Mt. Pleasant, UT; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Harold B. (Hilda) Thomas, Magna, UT. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grant B. Greenhalgh, William Hyrum William Hyrum Greenhalgh passed through the portals of this life on October 29, 2005. He was born in Nephi, Utah, on March 12, 1913, the son of Joseph Hyrum and Adelade Pearl Belliston Greenhalgh. He married Elsie Peterson in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept. 2, 1936. He received his schooling at Nephi and Logan City Schools and at the Utah State Agricultural College (USU) in Logan. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1938. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He held many church positions during his lifetime. He served as an Ordinance Worker in the Provo Temple for 22 years. "IZZIE" NEPHI/Emma Isabel Bodell Haymond, age 88, passed form this earth into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Oct.29, 2005 in Taylorsville, Utah, following a brief illness. She was born February 17, 1917, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the home of her Aunt Lizzie to Joseph Samuel and Emma Linda Hisky Bodell. She was the oldest of two children. She married George Dilworth Haymond Jr. (Bud) on October 21, 1939 in Herriman, Utah. They had recently celebrated their sixty-sixth wedding anniversary. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on October 9, 1965. Isabel was an active member of the L.D.S. Church. She was a Primary teacher and a Relief Society Visiting teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Singing Mothers, which sang at Women's Conference in the Tabernacle. She was an active member in establishing the Nephi City Rose Garden and helped care for it for many years. She was also active in civic activities, especially in the school health and immunization programs. She played a part in getting the high school a skeleton so the students could study the bones of the body. She was a member of the J.C. Janes and also a member of the Beta Literary Club. Her school years were spent in the Nephi City schools. She also worked along side her husband Bud in the Nephi Drug Company. Isabel loved and was most happy when surrounded by her family. She was a compassionate and loving person. She was truly a Daughter of God. She is survived by her husband, Bud and her daughter, Paula (Newell) Green; grandchildren, Laura (Jim) Beagley; Mitch (Jennifer) Green; Mark (Kelly) Green; Bruce Jr. (Melissa) Thompson; Judi (Milo) Beckstrom; Chad (Camille) Thompson; eleven great grandchildren; son-in-law, Bruce (Linda) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Ora H. Lunt; daughter, Georgia Delene Thompson; brother, Joe Bodell. Hermansen, Jennie Lee Jensen "Mugs" Jennie Lee Jensen Hermansen, 33, passed away October 29, 2005 from a pulmonary embolism. Born November 8, 1971 in Provo, Utah, daughter of Robert M. And Marilyn Hardman Jensen. Married Scott R. Hermansen August 2, 1991 in the Salt Lake Temple. Member of the LDS Church where she served in many callings. She was a compassionate, loving mother, wife, daughter, daughter-in-law and sister who adored her children and loved going to her dad's cabin. She loved talking on the phone, had lots of friends, and was loved by all. Showing compassion, even in death, she was a life giving donor. Survived by husband, Scott; children: Janessa Nicole, Whitney Lee, Jensen Scott and Walker Nephi Hermansen; parents, Robert and Marilyn Jensen, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Donald N. and Helen Hermansen; grandparents, DeVerl P. Marie was born October 19, 1963 to Melvin and Barbara Mecham Burnside of Orem, Utah. She married William Joseph Johnson, April 17, 1986 in Spanish Fork, Utah. She loved and was loved by everyone she knew. She made everyone welcome in her home, be they young or old. She loved music, dancing, camping (for the fire), laughing and having fun. She will be missed by many friends and family. Molyneaux, Cleo Beth 1933-2005 MONA/Cleo Beth Simmons Molyneaux, age 72, passed away peacefully in her sleep October 30, 2005 at her home in Mona, Utah. She was born October 18, 1933 in Lake Shore, Utah to John Hallam and Rhoda Hatfield Simmons. She married Clark Lee Molyneaux November 10,1951 in Mona, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized Nov. 10, 1999 in the Manti Temple. He died February 26, 2005. She loved to sew and spend all of her time with her children and grandchildren. Even though she was in pain most of the time, she had a genuine love and interest in people. She loved talking and getting to know everyone around her. Gloria was born on March 22, 1942 in Lumberton, New Mexico to Henry and Emma Martinez. She married Dennis Ney and they later divorced. They had one child, Denice Ney-Lugo. Denice blessed her mother's life by giving her six beautiful grandchidren that she loved spending time with, and spoiling each one. Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, her Father, Henry Martinez of Provo; Daughter, Denice Ney (Arturo) Lugo of Provo; Six grandchildren, Job, Jamin, Jordan, Destiny, Anthony & Mylena of Provo; Sister, Lilly (Larry) Harrington of Castle Dale; Brother, Danny Martinez of Provo; Sister/Niece, Desi (Michael) Schnebly of Provo. She helped raise three nieces Teresa Lowe, Cuca Silva, & Maria Sunder, as her own. Peterson, Evelyn Cook Evelyn Cook Peterson, age 91 of Cedar Fort, UT died October 29, 2005 in the American Fork Hospital of causes incident to age. She was born December 24, 1913 in Cedar Fort to James Earl and Caroline Hacking Cook. She married Glen Peterson November 7, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 20, 1976. Evelyn was a school lunch manager in Cedar Fort schools for 30 years. She served in all the organizations in the church and especially enjoyed her temple work. Survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Butcher of West Jordan and Geneil Russell of Rush Valley, Utah; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Glen Cook and sister-in-law, Geneva Cook, both of Cedar Fort. Graveside services will be held Wednesday November 2, 2005 at 12:00 noon in the Cedar Fort Cemetery. He was born July 19, 1929 to Angus Dana and Mildred Russell Porter in Sharon, Idaho. He was the third of six children. He married Dorothy Louise Anderson on November 20, 1951 in the Logan Utah Temple. They had five children. He served his country admirably in the Korean Conflict and also in Vietnam. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served diligently in many church positions. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, sports, and most of all, spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and was loved and revered by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 54 years; and four children; Marjean (Bruce) Deeben, Orem, UT, Robert Wayne (Ann) Porter, Sandy, UT, Carren Louise (Kevin) Mines, Granby, Colorado, and Michael Eugene (Janel) Porter, Farmington, UT. One brother, Gerald Porter of Murray, UT, and one sister, Loueen Nutt of Ogden, UT, 21 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Dana, his parents, and three brothers. The family wishes to express their thanks to the ICU staff at the Timpanogos Hospital, Orchard Park Rehab Center, and A-Plus Hospice for all of their wonderful care, and also all their dear friends and neighbors.
