Spencer was born April 11, 1975. He is the eldest son of Howard W. Knight and Lora L. Lewis Knight. He attended Elementary, Jr. High and High School in Orem where he excelled in math and science. Spencer was blessed with a brilliant mind and a keen sense of humor. Sports came natural to Spencer and he was a tremendous athlete, exceptional in baseball and wrestling. He loved snowboarding and golfing as well. He was a leader among his army of loyal friends. On August 1, 1998, Spencer married his sweetheart, Dari Jean Nielsen. Together, they are the parents of four beautiful children: Mason Winfield Knight, Samantha Jean Knight, Aryahna Angel Knight, and Sophia Athalia Knight. Spencer was successful in whatever he tried, and his greatest achievement was the role of "Daddy". His four precious children will always be his greatest joy. Spencer is survived by his wife and children, all of Provo,UT; his father, Howard Winfield Knight of Orem; mother, Lora L. (DeeDee) Knight of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Kristen Knight of Las Vegas, NV; Lori Knight of Lindon, UT; and his brother, Steven H. Knight of Orem. Grandmother, Athalia Gay Lewis of Salt Lake City, UT; and many aunts, uncles, cousins. SK is also survived by his five beloved nephews: Austin Bascom, Brandon Bascom, Derek Montoya, Jackson Knight and Conner Knight. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herbert Knight; grandfather, Fred A. Lewis, and grandmother Gloria Anderson. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services on Monday. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Swensen, Blaine Walker Our family Patriarch, Blaine Walker Swensen, 94, of Pleasant Grove passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2005. He was born September 7, 1911 at home in Manila to Ezra James and Elsie Walker Swensen. He married Audrey Davis on November 26, 1932 in Randolph, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Blaine grew up in Manila and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII and served in the European Theater during the Battle of Bulge and D-Day. He attended Brigham Young University. Blaine loved to fish, hunt, ski, bowl, golf and enjoyed watching BYU sports. Blaine and Audrey owned and operated both Blaine's Market on Main Street and later the Wasatch Inn in Pleasant Grove. Blaine worked for Geneva Steel for many years and enjoyed serving on the Pleasant Grove Fire Department. Blaine was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings during his life. He is survived by his daughter: Sharma (John) Winters, Lehi; foster daughter, Mary (Leo) Platero, Montezuma Creek, UT; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and five foster grandchildren and eight foster great-grandchildren; siblings: Lorraine Boyer, John Y. Swenson, Dee Swensen, Knud Swensen, and James Bernard Swensen. He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey last year and son Marlow in 1994. The family would like to thank LaVern Morris and her staff from the Beehive Home. A special thanks to Nurse Meaghan and her staff from Hearts For Hospice. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake Center Chapel, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday one hour prior to services.
