Neilson, Kerryanne Booras and Callen Avery St. George, Utah Kerryanne Booras Neilson, age 37, returned home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 6, 2005, with one of her cherished children, Callen. Kerry was born June 20, 1968, in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Steven William and Susan Berniece Lindsey Booras. Kerry's family moved when she was two weeks old and she was raised in Livermore, California until about age 16. She and her family then moved to Orem, Utah, where she graduated from Orem High School. Kerry attended Utah Valley State College for approximately two years and studied Fashion Design. She married Chris Neilson on August 18, 1989, in the Salt Lake Temple. Her more recent talents were shown writing technical manuals for some large law firms and NASA. Kerry was a devoted mother and wife who had three beautiful children and a loving husband. Her countenance radiated love for those around her. She was always selfless in her actions, and was a humble servant of our Heavenly Father. Kerry held many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in each one. The Lord always saw her special talents. She was most recently released as Primary President, a calling that blessed her life as well as the children she lovingly served. The Young Women's Program and Primary were her biggest loves. A fun-loving friend, Kerry always made those around her smile. She will be remembered as being the "Kool-Aid Mom," always welcoming children into her home at any time. Her home is a reflection of who she was and it shows her keen sense of design and creative talents. She always made it a heaven on earth for her family. Being the oldest daughter (the first of five girls) and younger sister to her brother, Kerry was an example of righteous living and generosity toward everyone around her. She led a Christlike life, listening and acting on the promptings of the Holy Ghost to be of service to others, never expecting recognition in return. Callen was born August 20, 2001, in St. George, Utah, to Chris and Kerryanne Booras Neilson. He has one sister, Kennedy (age 11), and one brother, Kade (age 7). Callen had a special smile. When he smiled, you could literally feel his love for you. His smile lit up your heart and made you want to give him a big hug. He didn't even need to say a word, he could just smile and you could feel his love for you and his love for others. His dad is quoted as saying, "Callen is our baby (our last child) and he could do whatever he wanted to do." Callen and his mom were so close in life and remain close forever. Some of Callen's favorite pastimes were throwing a football and playing with his brother, sister, cousins, and friends. He loved going to Pine Valley with his family to "Papa's Farm" (Grandpa's Cabin). We will all miss his smile and his love. Kerry is survived by her: husband, Dr. Chris A. Neilson and children, Kennedy and Kade, of St. George, UT; parents, Steven and Susan Booras, of Spanish Fork, UT; brother, Kimball, of Sandy, UT; sisters, Becky (Kip) Kint, of Spanish Fork, UT, Kirsten (Corey) Shipman, of Spanish Fork, UT, Missy (Owen) Poulson, of Nevada City, CA, and Cindi (Matthew) Fields, of Spanish Fork, UT; nine nieces; and five nephews. Valley View Dr., St. George, UT, with the first visitation Friday, November 11, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, and the second visitation on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to services, at the Chapel.
