Darlene was born in Payson, Utah, September 27, 1930 to Clarence A. and Christina "Stena" Daniels. She graduated with honors from Payson High School where she was active in drama, music and the honor society. She received an academic scholarship to Utah State University; she also attended Brigham Young University and Citrus College. She married Paul Bowen Miller October 28, 1950 in Whittier, CA. Their marriage was later solemnized on May 22, 1965 in the Los Angeles Temple. She worked several years at Citrus College and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a cub scout leader, primary teacher, primary counselor and pianist. She served in the Relief Society Presidency, Relief Society Secretary, visiting teacher and Relief Society Pianist. Darlene kept a beautiful home and dedicated her life to her husband, sons, grandchildren and family. Darlene loved to play the piano and read; she was an ardent student of current events. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul; three sons, Douglas, Scott and Marc; eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Graveside services and Dedication of the Grave will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 7, at Spanish Fork City Cemetery. The Miller family prefers contributions to City of Hope Medical Center, 1500 East Duarte Road, Duarte, California 91010 in her memory.
