She was born September 2, 1925, the daughter of Frederick and Martha Page Riley in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Richard L. Barrett on January 7, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. He died September 26, 1993. Rhea lived in Bountiful, Pocatello, New York, California and for the past 16 years in Provo/Orem. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved painting, golf, sewing, arts and crafts and spending time with her family. Rhea is survived by one son, Bruce (Tyra) Barrett of Provo; three daughters, Elaine Chowen of Bountiful, Carol Anne (Jim) Daniels of Orem and Kathi Wright of Orem; one brother, William (Kathy) Riley of California; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons-in-law, Ron Chowen and Ken Wright; one brother Derall Riley; two sisters, Lou Anne Martin and Geraldine Johnson; two great-grandsons, Jarek and Brent T. Chowen. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 19, 2005 at the Suncrest Stake Center, 90 North 600 West, Orem, Utah. Friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Hansen, Don Torvel "Crazy Legs" American Fork - Don Torvel Hansen, age 79 of American Fork, formerly of Lehi, died Sept. 14, 2005 at his home of lung disease. He was born June 26, 1926 in Lehi, Utah to Carl Tarvel and Murintha Alta Yates Hansen. He married his sweetheart and dancing partner, Dorothy Katherine Larsen, Oct. 13, 1943 in Orem, Utah. . After Dorothy's death Nov. 8, 1997, he was lucky enough to find another dancing partner, Reeta A. Jones. They were married Feb. 24, 1999 in American Fork. Don was a veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver for U.S. Steel, Geneva where he made many life-long friends. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working on the farm, water-skiing, hunting, horseshoes, and helping finish everyone else's projects. He was a true cowboy who loved his boots and watching Westerns. Survived by his wife, Reeta of American Fork; 3 sons and 1 daughter, Reed (Lisa), Duchesne; Steve (Keri), Lehi; Paul (Terilyn), Lehi; Kathaleen (Jeff) Ivins, Cedar Hills; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; step-children, Jean and Harold Chatwin, Orem; Barbara and Jerry Buchanan, Wister, OK; Bill and Gaye Fangel, American Fork; Julia and Mike Doering, Orem; Ray and Tiffany Fangel and Doug Jones, Lehi; 26 step-grandchildren; 34 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 11 siblings and 2 sons, Tony Don and Neil Keith. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 2-5-9th Ward LDS Chapel at 300 N. 500 E. Hansen, Ralda Ralda Hansen, age 98.5, passed away September 14, 2005 in Orchard Park Care Center, Orem, Utah after sustaining injuries from a fall. She was the fifth child of Franklin Hansen and Anna Catherina Hafen Hansen. She was born in Moroni, Sanpete, Utah February 25, 1907 and attended schools there. She moved to Provo, Utah and obtained her first job with Troy Laundry where she folded shirts. After a few years she went to work with Mountain Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company as a Housekeeper/matron until she was eligible for a full retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as a teacher in what was then called Mutual (MIA). She was well-known for her beautiful handwork which included Swiss netting, crocheting and embroidery. A lot of her work was displayed and sold at Mormon Handicraft Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by all members of her family except her younger sister, Oneta J. Hansen. Friends may call Friday, September 16, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center St., Provo, UT. Kirkham, Rustin Chad Rustin Chad Kirkham, age 10, of Pleasant Grove passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2005. A joyous moment for our family was Rustin s birth on May 12, 1995 in American Fork. He was a happy and sensitive boy who lit up our lives with his presence. Rustin loved Scouts and enjoyed working with his hands. He was a hard worker and helped his Dad during the summer doing roofing. He was a great help to his grandparents and enjoyed working on projects with his Grandpas. Rustin had the gift of making people laugh and could always be counted on to cheer you up with his nutty jokes and comedy routines. Rustin also loved shooting sports and fly-fishing. He is survived by his parents Robynn and Chad Kirkham and sister, Cheyanne; grandparents: Danny and Kaye Lynn Kirkham and Robert (Bert) and Vickie Walker as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his great-grandparents: Elaine Walker, Ken Adamson, Gene and Lou Gene Kirkham, and Klea Ernst. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Northfield Tenth Ward Chapel, 2155 North 100 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday one hour prior to services. Pokorny III, our littlest angel was born and got his wings on Monday, September 12, 2005. Born with Trisomy 18, he left his parents' loving arms to join the other tiny angels in God's loving arms. Charlie was born to Charles (Chuck) Pokorny II and Karen Pokorny. Sending him to heaven with heavy hearts are his loving parents, his brother and sisters, Danny Pokorny, Niki Pokorny, Kalina Noland, and Sierra Noland. His grandparents, Charles and Maxine Pokorny of Layton and Larry and Marsha Bentley of Salt Lake City and his great grandmothers Della Diamond, Spanish Fork, Millie Monaghan, Omaha, NB. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. My little one you left too soon, But I'll see you in the stars and moon, My Little Angel who shines so bright, I'll sleep and dream of you each night. Reyes, Ignacio "Nacho" Ignacio Reyes "Nacho", loved by everyone he met, most of all by his children, passed away in Provo September 13, 2005. He was born to Rosa and Jose' Pio Reyes in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. With his great sense of humor he brought smiles to everyone. His greatest accomplishment was the raising of his children, who held his hand until his last breath. Some of his passions were traveling, boxing, airplanes, and body building in which he competed at state level. He showed his noble side when he joined the Amber Cross as an EMT in Mexico. He is survived by his daughters Rosa Reyes, Mishell Dean and his son Luis Arturo Reyes. He will be greatly missed by his family and countless friends who know they will meet him again. A Service will be Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Provo Cemetery, 610 S. State, Provo.
