Betty grew up in Lima-Peru where she graduated from primary and high school. She graduated with a Bachelors and Masters Degree from BYU. She was also a professional interpreter and translator. Betty was a member of the Sigma Delta Pi Society BYU Chapter. She married Thomas Hadley on April 13, 1991 in the Manti Temple. They served a Mission in Norway from 1994 to 1996 where she distributed 2,500 Books of Mormon. Betty also helped the missionaries in Peru to bring many people to accept the gospel and to be baptized in the Mormon Church. Her warm and gentle spirit endeared her to everyone. We remember her great faith in God. Her love and charity for the poor for the children and for the elderly remains a very strong foundation and sweet fragrance in our lives. She is survived by her husband Thomas Hadley; her brothers Caesar and Walter Vasquez; sisters Victoria Vasquez, Josefina Garcia, Carmen Wins and Chela Minano; nephews and nieces. Services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Highland Ward, 1314-27 Street, Ogden, UT. The viewing will be at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Provo City Cemetery. Published in the Daily Herald on 9/30/2005. Robertson, Dennis E. Dennis E. Robertson, 84 of Springville, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005. He was born May 31, 1921 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Joseph Thomas and Mattie (Clark) Robertson. He married Lois Kathryn Martindale September 11, 1946 in Springville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. Dennis was raised and attended schools in Idaho and went on to serve in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. For 28 years, he worked for W.W. Clyde helping to build many highways throughout the state. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. He also loved to fish. Many of the children in the Brookside subdivision and in Spanish Fork called him "Grandpa Denny". He is survived by one son, Dennis Robertson of Springville; one grandson, Josh Lloyd of Springville; two brothers and one sister, Lynn Robertson of Springville, Jack Robertson of Leland, and Wilma Fehmel of Salt Lake City. Preceding him in death are his wife, Kathryn and a daughter, Jan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Hobble Creek West Stake Center, 555 South 600 East in Springville. There will be a viewing held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services. Wheelwright, Clarissa Ruth Clarissa Ruth Wheelwright was born September 25, 2005 to Matthew Ross and LeMira Mary Katschke Wheelwright at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. She slipped away shortly thereafter to be reunited with her Heavenly Father. She is survived by her parents, and her older brother, Jackson Ross, all of Provo; her grandparents, Ross and Ruth Ann Wheelwright of Bristow, VA; and Richard and Karen Katschke of Panaca, NV.
