Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2004 at the 14th Ward L.D.S. Chapel, located at 3020 Cherry Lane, Boise. Friends may call to visit with the family at 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel. Jeanne was born June 18, 1922 in Parowan, Utah, to William J. Gurr and Albena Hyatt Gurr. She grew up on a farm with her three older brothers and her sister where she learned to be a hard worker, be organized, be thrifty, and be a positive example of compassion and service. Jeanne married Roscoe G. Booth September 29, 1943 in the St. George Utah Temple. They raised four children, Durinda, Sharon, Raydell, and Janette. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe. Jeanne valued family, friends, and her close relationship with her Savior. A cherished memory is her love of music and her beautiful alto voice. She was a devoted wife, mother, and "Grammy." She adored her 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with three others on the way. She was frequently "branding" her grandkids with her special Grammy kisses and bear hugs and always looked forward to the many family gatherings that kept her family close. The family greatly appreciates the tender, loving care Jeanne received at Ashley Manor. Veronica M. Starks Bridge November 23, 2004; beloved wife of the late George C. Bridge; dear mother of Charles (Maureen) of West Seneca, NY, Mary (Joe McGee) Bridge of Sparks, NV, Robert (Linda) of West Seneca, NY and Ruth "Rudi". (Lonnie "Brown") Rencher of Riverside, IA; loving grandmother of 11 grand children and 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Veronica (late George) lived in West Seneca, NY until retiring in Clearwater, FL in 1975. In 1983 Veronica and George moved to St. George, UT where they spent much of their time enjoying their neighbors and visiting family. Veronica enjoyed working at Dick's Cafe Gift Shop, was an active member of the St. George Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering time working at the St. George Thrift Store. George preceded Veronica in death in 1992. In 1999 Veronica moved back to West Seneca, NY to be near family. Services were held November 26th in Orchard Park, NY and will be buried in the St. George Cemetery on Wednesday December 1st. No services will be held. Nathaniel DeMille LaVerkin -- Nate DeMille, age 20, died November 27, 2004, in LaVerkin, Utah. He was born July 2, 1984 in San Angelo, Texas to Arlene Pilkington and Darwin DeMille. Nathan was raised in Las Vegas, Moapa Valley, Nevada and LaVerkin, Utah. He graduated from high school in February of 2002. He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1992. Nathan liked baseball, soccer, and football, but most of all Nate liked to socialize. He was very loving, compassionate and willing to listen and help anyone in need. The last three years of Nathan's life have been spent in the United States Army Reserves. The Army was his life and had been since he was a child. In the end he wanted more than anything to proudly serve his country and his family. He is survived by his parents; father, Darwin DeMille and mother, Arlene Pilkington, sister; Brittney DeMille, and spouse Daniel Stewart and their children Joshua and Aylie; his sister Sara Gleason, and spouse Jeremy Ruff and their children MacKenzie, Cody, and Colton; his sister Kimberly Gleason, his sister Megan DeMille; and his brother Danny DeMille. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 12 p.m., at the LaVerkin City Cemetery, (600 N. State Street). Visitations will be Friday, December 3, from 6-8 p.m., at the Hurricane Valley Mortuary, (140 N. Main). Interment will be in the LaVerkin City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221. Gary Oleen Jensen June 6, 1936 - November 29, 2004 The time has come for our dear sweet dad to say goodbye. He had a wonderful life and we know he is in a better place. Gary Oleen Jensen was born June 6, 1936 in Lewiston, Utah. His parents were Oleen Jensen and Helen Chism Jensen. He attended high school in Ogden, Utah where he was active in baseball. Dad loved baseball! He was lucky enough to play on several state championship teams. Gary served an LDS Mission to Uruguay from 1957-1060. He received a BA from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Education from the University of Utah. Gary married Carol Nemelka in 1963 they were later divorced. They had eight wonderful children, Kib (Lisa), Jamie Brown (Andy), Jeron, Jennifer Slater (Rod), Ginger Timmerman (Casey), Justin (deceased), Gavin (Mandy), Jonathan (Michelle), and eighteen grandchildren. On February 19, 1994, Gary married Patricia Larsen Keller, his eternal mate, whom Dad always referred to as "an awesome companion!" He was lucky enough to gain Patricia's five wonderful children Clay Keller (Kelly), Jeff Keller (Michelle), Chris Keller (Shelly), Nicole Wardrop (Lane) and Michelle Vider (Shad) and nineteen grandchildren. He spent his career as high school teacher, teaching in California and at Mountain View and Timpanogos High Schools in Orem, Utah. He loved being a school teacher and always had great memories of all the kids who passed through his classroom door. He loved his life! Gary loved sports and spent a lot of time coaching, especially with having five sons. He enjoyed many high school games and found great pleasure in his association with the young people who participated in these sports. Gary is survived by brothers and sisters, Ann Wolford, Ogden, Utah. Robert Jensen, Sandy, Utah. Diane Miller, Riverside, California. Jim Whitlock, Ogden, Utah. Paul Jensen, West Jordan, Utah and Lowell Jensen, Salt Lake City, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents Oleen Lyle Jensen and Helen May Chism, his son Justin, his sister Carolyn and brother Ron. Our Dad's last wish was that we wouldn't mourn for him because he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he knew what would be awaiting him. He said it would good and great! Funeral services for Gary will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pilgrims Landing 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 3145 West Mayflower Avenue, Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah (located 4 blocks North of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple) and at the church, Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment for Gary will take place immediately following his funeral service at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah. Henry Richards 1923 - 2004 Henry Richards, age 81, beloved husband, father and grandfather returned to his Heavenly Father on November 30, 2004 in Washington, Utah after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 6, 1923 in Samaria, Idaho to Edward David Richards and Mary Ann Waldron Hughes. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married the love of his life, LaDene Rose Williams on November 27, 1943 (later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple). Henry proudly served in the Army during World War II in General Patton's 3rd Army, 26th Infantry Division. He worked hard all of his life and retired from the State of Utah Road Shops. He loved his family and enjoyed outings and get togethers in their company. He loved traveling, fishing and spending time with his devoted wife. One of his favorite hobbies was working with his thoroughbred horses. He was the best husband, father, grandfather and friend anyone could ask for. He is survived by his wife, LaDene and four children, Paul (Joan) Richards of Centerville; Mary Sue (Dave) Gold of Morgan; Julie Richards of Washington; Kellie (Sterling) Malin of Washington; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; all who will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
