He was 78 years old. Wilf was born August 28, 1926 to Herman and Ruby Griffiths. He was reared in Lark, Ut., Salt Lake City, Jarbidge, NV., and Las Vegas NV. He met his wife, Jean, in Salt Lake City, Ut., and they were married in Elko, Nv. They were married for 54 years. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City temple on August 24, 1959, for all time and eternity. They reared their four children, primarily in Bountiful, Utah. He cared deeply for his wife and children and created a loving environment that drew us all together. He worked for Carnation Company for 37 years. After retiring from Carnation he and his wife moved to St. George. Dad started and ran Color Country Trailers for eleven years. He built lasting friendships and worked well with others, giving everyone he met courtesy and respect. He always displayed unselfish service and kindness to family, friends and business associates. He lived life to the fullest. He taught us how to love, to be a good friend, a good father, and a good husband. He always did his best to be true to his beliefs. Our family would like to thank hospice, his two older brothers and the many friends and neighbors of Vista Ridge Estates for their loving care and kindness. Wilf is survived by a daughter Janet Thompson (George), Las Vegas, Nevada, Son Kenneth (Diane), Bountiful, Utah, Son Robert (Jody) Bountiful, Utah, Son Doug, 14 Grandchildren, and 25 Great Grandchildren. Three brothers, Warren, Hal, and Darrell Griffiths. He is preceded in death by his spouse Jean, a brother Walter, and his parents. Graveside services will be held December 11, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at the St George City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday December 11, 2204, 12:00-1:30 at the LDS Snow Canyon 4th Ward chapel (Dixie Downs Rd) under the direction of Heideman Mortuary. Deon Little Wall ST. GEORGE -- Deon Little Wall, age 92, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 2, 2004, surrounded by family, enduring well to the end. She was born November 8, 1912 in Diamondville, Wyoming to John Syme and Myrtle Taylor Little. While still a small girl, the family moved to Salt Lake City, where Deon attended school, graduating from LDS High. Following the untimely death of her mother, her father married Ellen Cowan (Nell) who lovingly raised both her and her brother, Elvin. Deon married Clarence T. Wall, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on July 30, 1946. Deon had the opportunity to live in many parts of the country due to Clarence's careers. She loved the association of others and shared her talents of quilting, baking, and love of music. Everywhere they lived, lasting and loving friendships were made, always finding ways to be of help and service to others. After moving to St. George in 1979, following Clarence's retirement, they had the privilege of serving a mission in the Missouri Independence Mission. Deon had a great influence for good and touched the lives of many. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She always took whatever she was faced with and made the most of it. Deon is survived by her: children, Gary (Joan) Wall, Bountiful, Utah, Terry (Heidi) Wall, West Bountiful, Utah, Cleon Wall, Denver, Colorado, Robin (Yvonne) Wall, St. George, Utah, and Mapuana (Iuni) Tuli, San Bernardino, California; 25 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her: husband, Clarence; brother, Elvin; sister, Lillian; and grandson, Jon Wall. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 10, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. George Green Valley Stake Center, 511 S. Valley View Dr. Visitations will be held Thursday, December 9, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, and again Friday, one hour prior to funeral services, at the Stake Center. Interment will be Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S.
