She was born in Panguitch, UT on November 2, 1919, the daughter of Thomas Judd and Elizabeth Heywood. Her childhood years were spent in Delta, UT and she graduated from Branch Agricultural College in Cedar City, UT. Joyce married L. Dee Watson on March 4, 1940 in Cedar City, UT, later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Throughout her life, she devoted her talents and energies to her husband, her family and her church. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her proudest accomplishment was her family. She is survived by her husband L. Dee; her children Paul (Linda) of Brigham City, UT, Jean (John) Allred of West Point, UT, Kent (Connie) of Salt Lake City, UT, Collin (Nancy) of Salt Lake City, UT, and Doug (Nancy) of Birmingham, AL; 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; brother David (Rita) Judd; sisters Janet (Kenneth) Wellington, Jean (Ivan) Andrus, and Juneal (Robert) Johnson. Preceded in death by her infant daughter Elizabeth and brother Richard (Betty) Judd. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Rock Church in Cedar City. Friends may call at Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City Sunday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm and Monday from 10:30 - 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery.
