Baker LAS VEGAS - Robert Arthur Baker, age 57, passed away April 18, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born January 13, 1948 to James and Lilly Brown Baker. He was raised in Fredonia, Arizona graduating from Fredonia High School. He enlisted into the Navy and served in Vietnam later being released with an honorable discharge. A quiet, friendly man who loved to fish and go 4wheeling in the outdoors. Bobby worked for the Navajo Generating Station in Page, Arizona for 25 years, later moving to Las Vegas to work as a foreman at a commercial cement plant. Bobby is survived by his sister Christine (David) Johnson of Moccasin, Arizona, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005, 11:00 AM (Arizona Time), at the Fredonia LDS Chapel. Visitation from 10 to 10:45 AM prior to services. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary. Originally published April 22, 2005 Harold A. Burt BEAVER - Harold A. Burt, 83, passed away April 6, 2005 at the Richfield Rehabilitation & Care Center. He was born May 18, 1921 in Beaver, Utah to James Herman & LoReta Skougard Burt. He was our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was a very special part of the structure and love in our family. He married Marian Terry on November 3, 1955 in Pioche, Nevada. They made their home here in Beaver. They had five children, Kaye, Jan, Jon, Jerri and Richard. He loved the mountains. He spent many years working for the Forest Service and for Utah Power and Light. He loved the jobs and the chance to be on the mountain and had many stories to tell. He also loved to take his family hunting, fishing and picnicking. Sunday afternoons were almost always spent in the mountains looking for deer. He also had hobbies that allowed him to further enjoy the great outdoors. He spent many a day at the golf course with his wife and children and later his grandchildren. After he retired he and his wife traveled to numerous places to golf tournaments with family and friends. He couldn't wait to go for his coffee and visit with all of his friends. People knew him far and wide. He was loved and respected by many and he treasured all those he knew. He is survived by his Children, Kaye M. Quinton of Richfield, Jan Rodriguez of Beaver, Jon (Linda) Burt of Venice and Jerri L. Hare of Beaver. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Sister Betty Bonner of Minersville. He was preceded in death by his wife Marian and his infant son, Richard Neal Burt and his parents. Siblings Kenneth Dorothy, Donald, Robert, Mary and William . Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Beaver LDS 4th Ward Chapel. Friends and family paid their respects on Friday evening at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church. Campbell BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. - A.Z. Campbell, 79, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005. He was born January 13, 1926 in Indian Creek, Kentucky. He was a retired Sports Book Writer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of The Moose Lodge and the Rough Riders. He is survived by daughters: Diane Hardenburgh of Weidman, MI; Terry S. Pruner of Bullhead City, AZ; Terry Marie Fitzlaff of Las Vegas, NV; Billie Jean Stevens of Washington, UT; Kelly Jo Beeson of Beaver, Ut; Cindy Sue Campbell of Las Vegas, NV; and son, Michael Carlson Campbell of Beaver, UT; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
