GEORGE Utah - George Michael Anderson, age 52, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2005, at his home in St. George. He was born January 10, 1953, in St. George, Utah, a son of George Thomas and Betty Huntington Anderson. He married Tammy Clark, and together they raised two sons, Justin and Shane. They later divorced. He later married VaNeta Lewis, and to that union were born two children, Sydney and Taylor. They later divorced. Mike was a graduate of Dixie High School, Class of '71, where he played football. He enjoyed boating, cliff diving, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was active in Boy Scouts as a youth. Later in life, he sang in the Rockville Ward Choir. A kind and gentle-spirited man, Mike was tenderhearted, sharing, had a great sense of humor, and was often the life of the party. He was known as a very talented and hard worker in the construction industry. Mike loved his children dearly and they meant everything to him. Surviving family include his: children, Justin (Verleen) and Shane, both of Cedar City, UT, and Sydney and Taylor, both of Rockville, UT; three grandsons; brothers and sisters, Virginia (Tom) Joy, of St. George, UT, Tom (Wanda) Anderson, of Diamond Valley, UT, Bruce (Sherri) Anderson, of Santa Clara, UT, and Debbie Hannig, of St. George, UT; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; baby sister, Pamela; and brother-in-law, Dexter Hannig. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel with a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services, at the Mortuary. Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT, (435) 673- 2454. Originally published April 26, 2005 Layndon Elye Blue Moon Layndon Elye Blue Moon, Our infant son left this earth Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Mountain West Medical Center, Tooele, UT. Layndon is the son of James Wilson Moon and Robyn Amber (Jake) Moon. He is survived by Sister, Lyric Moon and Brother, Sidney Jake both of Washington, UT. Grandfathers Wolford Jake (Washington), Wilson (James) Moon (Tooele). Grandmothers, Shirley Bowman, Betty Jake. Layndon will be missed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Scott WASHINGTON - Bobby Hadfield Scott, 74, passed away Friday, April 23, 2005 at Dixie Regional Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1931 in Malta, Idaho to William Bryan Scott and Margaret Ellen Hadfield Scott. He married Dolly Louise Mihlberger on June 4, 1951 in Salt Lake City. He was reared and educated in Salt Lake City. He served two years in Germany during World War II with the United States Army. After retiring Bob and Dolly lived a short time in Timberlakes, Utah where they enjoyed many special times with family and friends. They later made their home in Washington, Utah while enjoying summers in Thayne, Wyoming. They made many special friends wherever they went. He loved his children, and grandchildren and being at home with wife Dolly. He is survived by his wife, Dolly; son, Robert D. Scott of Jackson, Wyo.; two daughters, Robyn Clegg of Draper; and Suzette Knoble of Tonawanda, New York. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one sister, LaRue Wickel and one brother, Douglas Scott, both of Salt Lake City. He is preceded in death by his parents, William B. Scott and Margaret Ellen Scott, brother, Eddie and sister, Marva. No services are planned at this time. Originally published April 26, 2005
