GEORGE Our loving son, brother and grandson returned to his Heavenly Father on August 19, 2005. He was born October 11, 1994 in St. George, UT, son of Clayton and Julie Christensen Hullinger. Braison was so loved by his family and friends and all those who knew him. He had a soft heart and compassion for everyone. Braison was a 5th grader at Panorama Elementary. He loved his friends and was with them at the time of his death. He has always been adventurous and loved the outdoors. He was an avid wake boarder and snow boarder, enjoying all sports and was looking forward to playing tackle football this year. He loved his Heavenly Father and was looking forward to becoming a new Scout in October. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and especially his family. He is survived by his parents, sister, Stacia Lynn age 17, brother, Chaz Michah age14, grandparents: Dan & Jeanne Earl of St. George, UT, Craig & Robyn Christensen of Tremonton, UT, Gilbert & Alice Hullinger of Roosevelt, UT, great grandparents: Maxine Garn of Fielding, UT, Mary Christensen of Tremonton, UT, Hollis G. & Grace Hullinger of Roosevelt, UT and Ernest Hansen. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Arake Hullinger, Oleen Garn, Gaylen Christensen and great great grandmother, Elaine Hullinger. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2005, 11 a.m., Red Cliffs LDS Chapel, 1800 E. & 280 N., St. George, UT. Visitations will be on Monday, August 21, 6-8 p.m., Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd. and Tuesday, 9:30-10:40 a.m., prior to services at the Red Cliff Chapel. Interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary (435) 673-4221. Originally published August 21, 2005 John 'Reed' Hunt ENTERPRISE - John "Reed" Hunt, age 77, died at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 15, 1928 in Enterprise, Utah, to John A. Hunt and Agnes Jones. He married Mary Thomas in Enterprise, Utah, February 7, 1948. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. He spent his childhood in Gunlock, Veyo and Enterprise. Reed attended school in St. George and Enterprise, graduating from Enterprise High School. After their marriage, Reed and Mary moved to Modena, Utah, where Reed was employed by Lunds. He then transferred to the Enterprise store, purchasing it in 1961. He sold the store in 1977 and was employed in the following years at Crossroads Equipment, Clegg Construction, Dixie National Forest Trail Improvement on Pine Valley Mountain and by Washington County School District as an Activity Bus Driver. Reed was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in a Bishopric, Elders Quorum Presidency and as a High Priest Group Assistant. His legacy of service to church and community affected people from all walks of life. Reed served on the Enterprise City Council and also on the Enterprise Fire Department. He was appreciated by many for his dedicated service in transporting people to the hospital in Cedar City and St. George, anytime, day or night. Reed also served on the Dixie Regional Hospital Board and participated in the Escalante Valley Lions Club which he loved. He was also instrumental in starting the Enterprise Roping Club where mustanging, roping events, and dutch-oven dinners were enjoyed. Reed's hobbies were deer hunting, mustanging and horse racing. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hiking, dutch-oven cooking and traveling in the northwest, especially loving Montana. Reed loved people and taking care of them. His greatest love, next to his eternal companion, Mary, was entertaining the neighborhood kids and grandchildren with tractor rides, skipping rocks at the reservoir, pony rides, Honda rides, teaching them to drive, swinging them 'out back', singing to them and seeing that they had treats. He was affectionately known as the "Cookie Man." Reed is survived by his wife, Mary of Enterprise, and children: Douglas (Janet) of Central Valley; Russell of West Valley City; Raynel (Shelly) of West Valley City; Steven (Randi) of Santa Clara; and MaRee (Blane) Farnsworth of Enterprise. Reed enjoyed 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Siblings include Billie Marion (Sharon) of Washington, Val Dean (Mavis) of Enterprise, Burnell (Velma) of Spanish Fork, Paul, (deceased) and DeAnna (Richard) Christensen of St. George. Funeral services will be Monday, August 22, 2005, 11:30 a.m., Enterprise Stake Center, 57 Center St., Enterprise, Utah. Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 6-8 p.m., Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. Originally published August 21, 2005 Kerry Douglas Robertson Kerry Douglas "Doug" Robertson, age 19, passed away on August 17, 2005 in Cedar City, Utah. He was born on February 6, 1986 in Richfield, Utah, to Thad Douglas and Lisa Lin Nebeker Robertson. Doug loved being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and enjoyed boogy boarding when they went to California. He was very creative, talented in fixing anything, loved to collect coins and antique bottles. He was always very thoughtful of others and will be greatly missed. Doug is survived by his parents, brothers Alexander Ryan of Cedar City, Utah and Jyerick Nebeker, sisters Nichole Robertson and Samantha Robertson, one nephew Anthony Thomas Eynon all of California, and grandparents Myrtle Robertson of Cedar City, Utah and Myrna Nebeker of Richfield, Utah. A graveside will be held on Monday morning, August 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar City Cemetery.
