Comiskey Lorraine H. Comiskey was born in Hartford, CT on March 31, 1929 to Edward R. Holmes and Helen M. Holmes. She attended Meriden High School, Emerson College and Larsen College. After spending a lifetime as a housewife in Meriden, CT, she retired with her husband and grandson, Justin S. Steele, to Ivins, UT in 1989. She is survived by her husband, William G. Comiskey; son, John F. Teeling III; daughter, Shawn A. Teeling Rhodes; grandsons, Justin S. Steele and Ian Steele. Louise Ann Fox Mathews Mangum Louise Ann Fox Mathews Mangum, 73, Cannonville, Utah, died December 31, 2004 in St. George, surrounded by her family. She was born October 27, 1931 in Beaver, Utah, to John Royal Fox and Rebecca Ann Batty. She was married to Wayne Lloyd Mathews, April 15, 1949 in Beaver, Utah. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 17, 1958. She married Don Carlos Mangum, November 6, 1959, Riverton, Utah. She was very active in the LDS Church serving in all the auxiliaries. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend. She was recognized for her beautiful crochet handiwork. She will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors are her husband, Don Mangum; children: Clifford (Collette) Mathews, Henrieville; John (Charlotte) Mathews; Ben (Diana) Mathews; Kay Louise Dunham; and Bonnie Jane (Pete) Peterson, all of Cannonville; Mel (April) Mangum of Ivins; Judy (Kevin) Anderson of Downey, Idaho; David (Andrea) Mathews of St. George; 27 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Thomas Marshall and Nurses and Staff at both Valley View Medical Center and Dixie Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005, 11:00 a.m. in the Cannonville LDS Chapel. Friends and family may call from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the LDS Ward. Interment will be in the Minersville Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Reva H. Nelson 1913 - 2004 Richfield/ Hurricane -- Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Reva Hunt Nelson, age 91, passed away November 24, 2004 in Truckee, California, following a very brief illness. She was born May 3, 1913 in Cortez, Colorado, a daughter of Joseph Anthony and Charlotte Elizabeth Tanner Hunt. She lived briefly in Colorado and Escalante, Utah, later moving to Sevier, Utah. There she met and married Asahel Neil Nelson, July 5, 1930 in Richfield, Utah. They resided in Richfield, where Asahel was employed by Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative and Intermountain Farmers Association for 42 years. Asahel preceded her in death, March 18, 1986. Reva moved from Richfield about 10 years ago. She has spent the past 8 years living at Lava Bluff in Hurricane, Utah, where she had many dear friends; she spent every summer at her favorite place in the whole world, her summer home at Fish Lake. Reva was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and played a key role in establishing the Senior Center in Richfield. She loved working outdoors and always had a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. She loved entertaining friends and family. Her reputation for her fine cuisine was well know. Among her favorite interests were travel and playing cards with friends and family. She was a member of the LDS Church. Reva played a key role in maintaining contact with all of her extended family. Her generosity to family and friends was heartfelt. She is survived by a large and loving family, her three sons: Ted and Mary of Potomac, Maryland; Chris and Sharilyn of Truckee, California; Dan and Teri of Orem, Utah; 14 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; sister, Julia Petty of Sandy; brothers, Lloyd Eugene Hunt of Richfield; Ven Berl and Juana Hunt of Elsinore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Asahel; a daughter, Shirley Ann Sullivan; 1 grandson; three sisters and four brothers: Inez Michaelson, Ina Lee, Zella Hunt, Joseph LeRoy Hunt, John Donald Hunt, Loren Vivian Hunt and Harold Hunt. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. . Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. Mary Ellen Sadler 1919 ~ 2005 DRAPER/ BLUFFDALE -- Mary Ellen Gentry Sadler, 85, died January 3, 2005 of natural causes. She was born February 27, 1919 in St. George, Utah to Harry and Viola McAllister Gentry. She married Roy Sadler on November 2, 1943 in the St. George LDS Temple. Mary Ellen enjoyed working in the Salt Lake and Jordan River LDS Temple and she served an LDS Mission to the Chicago LDS Temple with her husband. Survivors: husband, Roy, Draper/ Bluffdale; daughters, Mrs. Robin (Jean) Reading, Draper/Bluffdale; Diane Palmer, Mt. Pleasant; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Dwayne Gentry and C. Eldon Gentry, both St. George. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in the Draper LDS Stake Center, 13400 South 1300 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Thursday 6-8 p.m. or Friday at the church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Draper Cemetery.
