GEORGE -- Cy Robert Bartruff, 7 lbs. 2 oz., 21 inches, was stillborn on December 31, 2004, Ogden, Utah, McKay Dee Hospital. He was the son of Laynce Robert and Brooke Barrow Bartruff and brother of Samantha. He is also survived by parents; sister; grandparents, Robert (Teri) Bartruff, Karen (Mike) Doutre, Scott (Michelle) Barrow of Ogden, Utah and Cindy (David) Howard, St. George, Utah; and numerous family, extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005, 12 p.m., Ivins City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary (435) 673-4221. Condolences may be sent through the Metcalf Web site at www.metcalfmortuary.com. Mary Anna Butoff ST. GEORGE -- Mary Anna Butoff, 87, passed away on Dec. 19, 2004. She was born Nov. 30, 1917 in Holland VA, and lived in Washington, D.C., Boston, Denver. Retiring here some 28 years ago, she actively pursued her interest in art: Oils, water colors, 'vue d'optique,' also needlepoint, rug hooking, and intricate Indian beadwork, which she took up in her 80's! She gave arts & crafts classes, occasionally invited into the public schools. Mary Anna was also active in community service as a 'Pink Lady' volunteer at the hospital and as a member of 'Women's Missionary Ministries' in her church. She was predeceased by husband Victor Butoff, sister Virginia Surman, and beloved daughter Connie Crawford. Her gentle spirit will be sorely missed by her many friends, especially Hila, Olivia, Don, Vicki; sister Helen Marcy; children: Frank & Diane Crawford, Nancy & husband Rice Honeywell, stepdaughter Linda & husband Jack Purcell; 4 grandchildren & 15 greatgrandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan 8th at 3 PM at St. George Community Church, 95 S. 800 East. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dixie Regional Medical Center Auxiliary or Odyssey Hospice. Styles Scott Fitch SALT LAKE CITY -- Styles Scott Fitch passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Primary Children's Medical Center from sudden cardiac arrest. Styles was born on November 12, 1990 in Mesa, Arizona to Teri Milne Fitch and Scott James Fitch. Styles and his parents moved to Sandy, Utah when he was 2 1/2 years old. Styles enjoyed his time at Edgemont and Park Lane Elementary, Eastmont Jr. High, and his 8th grade year of home schooling by his mother and two of his aunts. Through his fourteen years, Styles faced his medical challenges with a stellar attitude. Through it all, Styles filled his life with the things he loved the most: his family, his friends, his faith, Nintendo, and any T.V. show about choppers or hot rods. Styles had a tremendous and unusual influence on everyone he came in contact with. Styles was a treasured gift, very precious and fragile; a valiant son, extending his best effort and positive attitude at all times. Styles was a true friend and teacher. Styles has taught patience, kindness, and love with a cultured and fine sense of humor. Styles was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving as a Deacon and most recently, a Teacher. When his health allowed, Styles enjoyed skiing with the Snowbird Adaptive Sports Program and enjoyed his association with the Forever Young Foundation and being a recipient of the Make-a-Wish Foundation all of which added joy and happiness to his life. Styles is survived by his: parents, and two sisters, Sage and Ally Fitch, all of Sandy, UT; grandparents, President James Warren and Sheron Fitch (President of the Johannesburg, South Africa Mission), and Verl Clyde and Nancy Milne, of St. George, UT; great-grandparents, Dora Fitch, of Provo, UT, Ora Milne, of St. George, UT, and James E. Wade, of St. George, UT; as well as many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who Styles loved and cherished. Styles was preceded in death by his: greatgrandparents, Earl Milne, Warren Fitch, Clyde Milne, LaNita Milne, and Ida Wade; and relatives, Katie Jane Milne, Spencer Howard, Mark Milne, Steve Fitch, and Steve Milne. Funeral services will be held at the Sandy Granite South Stake Center 2126 E. Gyrfalcon Dr. (10000 S.) on Monday, January 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S.) South Jordan, UT. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. George City Cemetery.
