Myra was born April 6, 1923, in Syracuse, New York, a daughter of August and Naomi Denniger Halbritter. Myra was raised in both Syracuse and Albany, New York. In 1952, she took her young daughter from Syracuse, New York, and moved to Los Angeles, California. Her most treasured gifts were her two children, affectionately called, "Punky" and "Gus." The love of her children was unconditional. In 1985, Myra retired from Magnavox/Philips Electronics, where she had been employed as an electronics assembler. In 1987, she moved to Central, Utah, to live with her daughter. She had many trials in her life, but she always seemed to rebound with a resolve and determination to not let them get her down. And she always had a smile on her face. Myra loved working on her crafts, be it using her many tools and saws, sewing machine or crocheting. She was always making something special for someone just to brighten their day; be it for family members, a bowling friend, a neighbor, or a friend at the Dialysis Center. She visited the Dialysis Center every Tuesday afternoon. The family would like to thank the many neighbors, friends, and people in the bowling community that spent countless hours visiting her and brightening her final days with friendship and love. A special thank you to the St. George Catholic Church for their kindness and help in easing Myra's final passing from this world to the other side. Also, we would like to thank the superb staff and caring nurses at the St. George Care & Rehabilitation Center for the special care and attention given to our mother in her final days.
